SQLed - SQL Database Manager for Positive User Reviews

SpectacularProfessional quality SQL tool running on a mobile device, this is an absolute must have!!!!.Version: 1.7.2

Mr CarlosBrilliant application, I just wish I could sent the results of my SQL query via e-mail in different formats., but like I said very very good application and good value for money!.Version: 2.2.2

Works well, nice to useI haven’t used all its functionality but what I have used works very well. I have a decently large DB (around 33 meg) and it handles it just fine. Frequent updates too; the developers care..Version: 1.7.7

Excellent! A well-made general purpose SQL toolDoes a great job of creating new SQL databases and managing existing ones from DropBox or iCloud. You can dig in to the guts of databases and modify and index them on the fly. Highly recommended..Version: 2.0.8

Good for learningAs a teacher, it was very good for teaching sql ... But when i change the orientation to landescape i can't rollover the two rows of commands on top of the keyboard ... Can you fix it in the next update ? -------- Tnx for the keyboard update, it was exactly what i need !!!.Version: 1.1.9

ExcellentUPDATE I have been using this app for well over a year. It is an excellent database manager. I use it to manage one of my SQLite databases. The developer is continually updating the app and making improvements. I highly recommend it. ORIGINAL REVIEW I am just starting to use this app, so these are my first impressions. I spent a good amount of time trying to find the best SQLite editor for the iPad. This looked to be the best among them, and appeared to be an app that is constantly updated and ready for the retina display on the new iPad. The app looks great on the new iPad, is full-featured, and is easy to use. Dropbox support sealed the deal for me. Anyone looking for a SQLite editor for the iPad or iPhone should purchase this app. I look forward to future updates. Thanks!.Version: 1.6.4

Great DatabaseGreat mobile DB app. Love it. Could you add a wizard that would create tables from a CSV file? That would be awesome!.Version: 1.1.9

Excellent appI bought this as a safe 'sandpit' to play around with SQL with the aim of helping me to learn MySQL which is pretty similar (but not identical) to SQLite. If you have similar aims you can achieve them with this app and a bit of reading. However as a fully-fledged database management app it is capable of much more. With a bit of application you can create fully functional relational databases, including views and triggers to run on your iOS device. The app supports export and import to and from a variety of file formats including csv files and SQL DDL script and to and from a variety of locations including cloud storage providers such as Dropbox. I have migrated a small MySQL database (about a dozen tables, ten views and a handful of triggers) into this app via SQL which works great. I have also tested the app's backups and data export capabilities. I think that the reliability issues mentioned in earlier reviews must have been addressed in the current version. The interface is very well thought-out making it a quick job to create tables, sort out foreign keys, input data or run SQL commands. In short, for databases that only I need to access I would seriously consider creating them and accessing them through this app. My thanks to the developer..Version: 1.8.5

Awesome for the priceI’ve downloaded a lot of these apps trying to find an app that I can play around or use on my iPad, some of them you couldn’t really save you’re working. I really didn’t want to only use Linux for database practice and this really helped. Otherwise, I can’t really use the iPad for more complicated things. Thank you..Version: 2.4.1

Excellent!Design and functionality of this app are great, price is good, it is actively maintained, it checks all the boxes :) It would be nice to have an option to run the SQL statement under the cursor. Good job overall, Andreas!.Version: 2.2.2

Would recommendThis is a solid app for editing SQLite files. Modern looking ui and useful Dropbox integration. Never crash once..Version: 1.8.8

Love the future I seeI just purchased this version (1.6.1). I was impressed with the features (I have 30 years of SQL experience) for the price on an iPad. because I am an advanced user, I immediately started putting it thru the paces. It did not take long for me to find a problem area. I contacted the developer and have already gotten a response. I love the future potential of this product when all the kinks are corrected and could not ask for better support..Version: 1.6.1

Great app...Easy to use, nice interface, uses iPad navigation well. Displays and manipulates your sqlite databases graphically. Run queries etc once you've imported from dropbox. Very handy for fixing your sqlite databases while you're mobile... Highly recommended..Version: 1.4.7

Very good SQL editor! This app does what it says very well. It is able to edit sqlite dbs with ease and efficiency. You can import/export dbs from Dropbox (a must for me) then edit structures, data, etc. But what blew me away was the sql editor! It's not just a color syntax coded editor, but each of the common sql commands has a button just above the keyboard. A select statement is easily done with just a few taps! It even has a table/column picker for easy access to column and table names. Plus the editor is context aware; If you invoke the editor from inside a specific table, the editor knows this and provides the column names for the in-context table! Wow. I wish I had such a good editor for sql server and MySQL also! This is well worth the price!.Version: 1.7.2

Great appExcellent app. I only use this for prototyping fairly simple databases and for a few personal databases I maintain and it's hands-down the best app I've found..Version: 1.7.1

Works well on the iPad's screenHi, I needed a SQL editor to look and add triggers in my iPhone's call history database. I chose this as it is priced well, mentioned triggers and has been updated regularly. Import and export of csv tables or files works well with Dropbox and Box.net. There is help on commands and I was able to create a new trigger by running a script. I could import my edited csv table into the database and once imported, even edit individual cells, but it would be handy to be able to select/copy/paste a range of cells. All in all worth the £2.99.Version: 1.4.4

Just BrilliantA truly excellent app to work with SQLite on the iPad, The developer has done (and does) a great job and his support and backup is outstanding - an example to all app developers. I'd like separate folders of saved queries for each project but that's a minor thing. If there is a problem with this app it's caused by Apple keeping the version of SQLite available to the developer several versions behind. Frustrating for everybody but that's how Apple is. A great app and well worth the money. 5/5 no problems..Version: 1.6.7

Nice work - lots of promiseIOS 11 recently killed the last SQLite database client I used, so I had to shop around for a replacement. Decided to give SQLed a try. Very pleased and pleasantly surprised. In fact, I like it better than the last one. And I am encouraged by the fact that this app is actively developed. A few enhancements that I would love to see in the future: * Display columns that auto-set width based on data width, and/or can be user-adjusted. * User-defined forms * Display BLOBs when content is image data Keep up the great work! :-).Version: 2.2.1

Great import optionsI was able to open a SQLite database located in a Dropbox sub folder and edit it easily. Creating a new database worked perfectly. There are a few UI/UX quirks to get used to, but that's to be expected with an app that allows so many useful types of data manipulation..Version: 1.7.1

Very useful applicationSQLed is a useful application for developers and end users. Very easy to use and really powerful. If you need an SQLite editor this the best. Keep up the good work!.Version: 1.7.2

SatisfiedI had tried the previous version (on iPad) which lacked a few convenient features for me. I had compared it to some other SQLite editing tools and already found this one to be the best for me. Now, with the update, practically everything I was missing is now implemented. Not only I can view and edit my Mac's SQLite DBs on the go on my iPad now, I am also happy with the quick response to my feature requests..Version: 1.1.7

Nice toolI'm a realtor and .net software developer. I'm very surprised at the number of functions and the power built into this system for the price. If I could have found a CRM system with the functions I wanted for real estate I never would have found this. I'm glad I did. Never thought I could use SQLite on an iPad. Very cool. A couple of small bugs nothing too bad so far..Version: 1.7.9

The One To BuyGreat app; fast, flexible and comprehensive. The support is first-rate and the developer is very open to ideas and feature requests. I would highly recommend this app, it is a pleasure to use..Version: 1.7.9

SQL for iPadLike what you have done very much. Can appreciate the effort! Might like a bit more control over the user interface but a very useful tool for setting up scalable databases. Can't say for sure how it compares with other SQL engines but I've used my share. Keep up the good work..Version: 1.7.4

It worksI created a db in excel, I read a tutorial on how to query in SQL and I was able to do what the more expensive FileMaker Pro could do..Version: 1.4.6

Great appLooks good. No network connection needed to create tables, triggers etc on the go. This only supports MySQL however. Kind of disappointed that it wasn't clear in the description. Wish this had support for tsql/SQL Server..Version: 1.5.6

Can't Query = Pretty UselessI paid money for this, but can't even write queries. What is the purpose of this app?!.Version: 2.1.1
