SQLed - SQL Database Manager for Negative User Reviews

Needs forms…Great DB app, but sorely lacking a Forms feature for input. (Or at least support for input of new records in views.).Version: 2.1.2

Can't import a CSVI'm trying to import a plain .CSV file into SQLEd. All indicators are that there is a way to do this. Documentation appears to want the CSV inside a .SQLite file inside a .ZIP file. The zip file is no problem; I can create those all day on a Windows or Mac machine. The .SQLite is the killer. I tried to create a small dbase with a table in SQLEd and export it as a ZIP, so I could see what it created, but after unzipping, I couldn't get the Mac to open the .SQLite file. Most imports allow you to bypass the ZIP and the SQLite intermediate forms. Isn't there a way for me to just plop a .CSV file into Dropbox and have SQLEd read it in????.Version: 1.4.7

BadThis is bad app! do not buy!.Version: 1.5.1

Doesn't connect to an sql doIt leads you to believe that you can connect to an sql dab, nope.Version: 2.0.9

Buggy for designing a new schemaWould be nice if it weren't so buggy. I get errors when trying to alter columns on an empty table..Version: 1.2.2

This can't connect to an existing SQL db?Why not?.Version: 1.4.9

Great interop, poor stability and performanceThe interop between the cloud storage providers and this app are a very good. The design for setting up new tables is very good and intuitive. Aesthetically pleasing. However, the stability and performance of this app are very poor. The SQLite views crashes out without warning or explanation while trying to use it. But by far the worst is the SQL editor. This is frustrating unresponsive, virtually to the point of being unusable. The SQL editor also crashes out randomly. You will loose the queries you were writing at the time. Give it's not in the cheapest price tag I'd expect more..Version: 1.1.6

Not really usefulI could not increase a column size of a sql select result. So it is impossible to read large text column. I also tried to double tap on the cell praying for a detail view but got nothing. Also it erases the Sql you wrote just buy going out to see table data. And data view (whole table or select result) is really sluggish on my iPad Air 2, which I believe is the fast IOS machine available at the moment..Version: 1.8.5

Not very elegant. Not sure it's very useful. The user interface is, well, lacking. It doesn't work like an iPhone or an iPad app. I'm not sure this application is actually useful..Version: 2.1.0

UselessWow, I just wanted to open a sql file and maybe edit it, but there’s no way to do that. Completely useless..Version: 2.3.3

Needs encrypted database supportI do like this app but really need encrypted database support. Not sure if there is some good reason for not having it but still really need it..Version: 1.4.4

Caution - Developer MissingThis app looked good, so I bought it. I Immediately. had a problem, so I and went to get tech support. All the links to the developer and app support result in 404 errors on a German travel website. I’d release a refund if I know who to contact..Version: 2.3.3

BewareI really wanted this to work. It looked like it had potential and I really tried to work around all the shortcomings, but let's face it, it's not ready for public use. You can designate a date field but it won't restrict data to date format. Creating formulas are a nightmare. Enter data into a field but doesn't matter, it still populates the field with data from another field. Someone could say that what do you expect for $1.99, but it ain't about the money. Crap is crap and it's a waste of time, even if it was free..Version: 1.7.8

GoodWant to be able to connect to my already made sql database, not make a new one.Version: 2.0.8

DisappointedThis app doesn't handle foreign key constraints correctly. This makes it impossible to create or edit a database with foreign keys because it will constantly say "error: foreign key constraint failed" whenever you try to make any changes to the schema. I even tried manually setting "PRAGMA foreign_keys off;" in the SQL editor but that didn't work. If you want to create a bunch of spreadsheets which are not related together through foreign keys, get this app. If this app could handle foreign keys properly I would gladly give it 5 stars..Version: 1.8.8

Pretty rubbishNo proper autocomplete. Says stuff is ok then when try export the queries are not accepted for simple tests such as a single table with 2 columns and 4 bits of data. Would like a refund. Also no access to my actual server option which is what I thought this was..Version: 2.3.3

The worst application i have seenThe app is doing nothing, I was expecting to be able to connect remotely and manage the database like sql developer..Version: 2.1.2

Excellent but still needs to evolveIt is a nice app, with great potential. In view table mode, it does not allow to adjust column length. Pease, do it..Version: 1.3.5

Interesting appIt would've been nice if you could let us connect to a sql server😒.Version: 1.4.3
