The app does apparently 'lose' your films occasionally, but if you log out and in again they do come back. Just a glitch. The new update requires a account and has a limit of how many films you can store, until you buy the app. Although I was thrown off at first since I had been using the free version for so long and have about 520 movies stored, the features and interface updates made it a no brainer. I have to visually check to make sure each title is actually on the list after I save it. This is troublesome for collectors with thousands of titles, using this app to remember what we have. ✓ Mostly great app, some shortcomingsWhile the app allows for easy entry of movies, fast searches, tracking loan outs, recording date of purchase and purchase price along with a number of other features, there are still two areas where it falls short. For true movie aficionados, these are big items hence my downgrading the app from a 5 to a 4. What’s missing is there is no way to indicate that the movie is in Atmos, and they still have not added the 4K option under resolution. Both of these have been available to the consumer public for long enough now, and more people have 4K and Atmos in their home theater setups that these appear as glaring omissions. I even emailed support about a year ago and there has still not been an upgrade to the app to resolve. If they could fix those I’d happily give the app 5 stars. ✓ Great so far, but…Hi! Just found this app, and I’m loving it so far! I deducted a star because of a feature (rather, lack of). Problem: I have many “multi-movie” discs, and your platform/app doesn’t recognize this when searching for a movie. Suggestion: maybe a “keyword” field that would be searchable (when searching in your collection). Or simply let the search function “search” in the section they’re listed. The bar codes scan wonderfully, and it does list all the movies on the DVD/disc, but they won’t come up individually when I search. Boooo. LOL. Example: Steven King 6-film collection has Secret Window on it. When I search for that movie, it doesn’t populate. Anyway! Keep up the great work. When it works you simply hold your phone over the barcode and it immediately provides a Photo (of the cover), Title, Format, & Date. ✓ Love These Apps So MuchThese Manager/Collection Apps are so useful to put all of your movies, music, books, etc. all in one place so that you can see what you've got when you're out and about - I'd often have to call home to ask someone if I already had something, but now I can just look on my phone. I've given it 4 stars rather than 5 just because at the start I had many issues with the App, but the main issue was just that the Wi-Fi signal was quite weak in the part of the house I was trying to use it in. Bulk scan seems to not work that often as well, but still - even scanning the barcodes separately and inputting them into my collection was faster than writing or typing it out, and it is a much better way of reviewing your whole collection in one place..Version: 4.7.1

I know that 300 titles is not a large collection, but it’s still a lot and it’s pretty tedious having to scroll or manually search through cabinets to see if I own something I want to watch. A quick search function would really help in all of the database apps, as I know people whose optical media collections contain thousands of titles. Yesterday afternoon, I went to open the app and I could not access any movies at all. I wrote for help. They wrote back right away. ✓ Fantastic!!I have added all my movies to this app! It helps me so much when I'm out and about shopping and I happen to see a movie that catches my eye, I can look to see if I have it 😃 I have been adding all my movies to binders to get rid of all the cases ( so much more room)!! But when I started to add my movies to this app, I found out that I have multiples of a few movies. Oops 😬 a Tip if you need binders they have some on Temu 400 count but if you don't need that many they have fewer ones. I got a couple one to replace one that is falling apart. they are so adorable!.Version: 8.3.7
✓ Pleasantly surprisedI recently switched to iCollect Movies from one of their competitors. I’ve only just begun to transition my collection but from what I’ve seen thus far this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship. This app has none of the nuances of the app I was using… and that’s a good thing. I have an extensive collection of DVDs and Blu-rays. This app now gives a way to cross-reference those pesky movie collections that are on single or multiple disc sets. So now I know when I have movie that is buried in a collection and avoid buying duplicates..Version: 8.2.0
