✓ Great tool for keeping track of your booksI'll award 5 stars when developer fixes the bug that backs out of the app while completing the final step of loading a book—taking a cover photo—without saving anything already entered for that book. Another issue is that even on the iPhone 6, cover photos in the list are slow to appear, slowing scrolling considerably. One really useful upgrade would be to use the camera for optical character recognition on ISBN numbers when necessary to manually input them..Version: 4.6.2

Google search for some book information, the Books app does not save the information when save is pressed. It does save when saving the information for a second time. 2. ✓ Helpful for book inventory!We used this app to catalogue all the books we collected to transport to Ghana for a newly constructed library. The app was great when it was as simple as scanning a book, but roughly 40% of or books weren't in the database, so we had to key them in manually. Still easier than typing them all in by hand. Wish it was more customizable, we only want three categories for what we're doing - title, author and series, along with the photos. We just scanned our 500th book and it's time consuming to find a title to see if we have it yet or not. All in all, it's a great app, but the the price tag was a big bite out of our funds..Version: 6.1

✓ Great little app!My boyfriend found this as a way to keep track of my hundreds of books without having to manually sit there entering details on a spreadsheet, and it's a pretty handy little thing. A quick scan of the barcode and it pulls up most of the details for the book, including a load of details I wouldn't worry about recording, but it also gives you the options to keep note of who you've loaned books to, rate books, and make a note of where you've stored them, very useful when you have as many books as I do! You can change the sort settings on the app to organise them how you want, filter by author, and even email them to yourself as a CSV file for converting to excel (a small one-off fee of £1.49, but worth it!). Not bad at all. I did have to manually put in the details for one of the first books I scanned, but it was only released this week so... :-) Good little app..Version: 2.4.1

✓ My book BuddyI wanted an app that I could use to generate a catalogue of all my books. This app lets you add so much information about each title a lot of which is of no interest to me but you can add as much or as little as you want. I have a photograph of the front cover the author and genre. The best thing I like about this app is you use your camera on your device to scan the bar code and the book is automatically added to you catalogue. A bit like going to the checkout at your local store, scan the barcode and it bleeps to say its accepted. If you have no bar code or it's not recognized for any reason you can add it manually. I have given a 4* rate because about 5-10% of scans have not been added. Would recommend..Version: 5.5

✓ Good so farI’ve been using a numbers file to catalog but wanted to upgrade to something with pictures. The only field I was tracking in numbers that I want very much to be able to here to is to mark if the book is signed. From everything I see I don’t see where I can edit or make a new field. So until this is added I guess I’ll slowly go through and add my books while still keeping my numbers file going in the meantime. My other wish is that it pulled special edition book photos. Some of the features aren't quite to their full potential yet, but I can see the vision and I like it! I love the ability to 'bulk scan', however I wish it would tell you just the title after each scan, because sometimes it's the wrong book and it's hard to go back and figure out which book belongs to that incorrect entry. I also wish there was an option to sort by an author's last name, which is the traditional way to file books.
