✓ Good, butI need the function to know what the number of the week is from exact day, because in my university we have classes sometimes in 1 week of the month (we start counting the number of the week from October and ahed to July every week), i need to calculate it from one specific month ahead, not from every month alone. So when I read on description this program shows the number of the week I was soo happy, yet dissapointed because it's not what I exactly need. :).Version: 1.3

✓ Almost...Certainly this is a very fine app, one of the best of its type in fact. However, there’s room for a few tweeks to further improve it. Option to view earliest dates first would be nice, not everyone is interested in what happened one, three or ten years ago etc. Ancient history moving towards the present is preferable with this type of calendar. A few more dates on the map wouldn’t hurt, and perhaps some pics. The option to flit over to Wikipedia is excellent though. Look forward to Calendarium’s evolution. As said, almost....Version: 1.8.2

✓ Hooray history!This app is cool with the wide variety of history facts it includes, from meteor strikes to business starts and entertainment news like when Pac-Man was first released. Plus it has the normal history of world events, but not just from a western civilization point of view it also includes eastern cultures and the Middle East. I wish however, that we could scroll through the days of the calendar in case we miss a day or want to look back at another day. Would love to see the source material as well from where the information is coming. Thanks for making such an exhaustive history app. This is really cool..Version: 1.3

Worldwide history lessonsI grabbed this to try out from AppsGoneFree (had I known how good it was I'd have happily paid for it) I've used a couple of 'this day in history' apps before but none has sparked my interest. This one however is genuinely interesting & offers loads more than I was expecting. Today, for example, there were 36 different entries, each relating to an event from this date in history. Today covered the yrs between 2008 and 338 BC! Touch any entry & you get the option to link directly to a more in-depth Wiki article on various points and keywords from the entry. On the app header you'll find the date, the times of today's sunrise and sunset and a picture indicating where the earth is today in relation to the sun & other planets. A quick click and you'll see a few stats on today - how many days into the year we are, how many days since the longest day & shortest day respectively & where we are in the moon cycle. It's a great app whether you only have time for a quick glance or fancy reading more about a particular historical event. The layout is clear, the information very easy to access and it manages to be both educational and interesting. If you were wondering btw the entries relate to historical events all over the world. As a Brit I half-expect iOS apps to be USA-centric but was pleased to find this was not the case at all 👍🏽.Version: 1.7

To be more unique, focus on the time aspect: add different calendar types as well as the Julian date. Being able to change the date and see the events, sunset sunrise, Julian date, etc would be helpful. One star deducted for occasional factual errors (see below), and use of obscure units of measure, such as Mw fot earthquake intensity. Error example: 20 January 1953 says Eisenhower was the first US Presidenr inaugurated on 20 January in accordance with the 20th Amendment. Not true. The 20th Amendment was ratified in 1933, and Franklin Delano Roosevelt was inaugurated for his second term on 20 January 1937..Version: 1.8.4
✓ An app for an inquisitive mind!This app is extremely interesting. On a mundane day when your life seems boring, open this app and relive the past. It tells you what happened on the exact day thousands of years ago. Isn't that interesting? Of course it is. But, I have a recommendation for the developers to allow this app to be on Notification Center's Today's View. So you can easily see what was the historic even just with a drop down of the Today's view. I'd be so happy to see this feature being implemented in the upcoming updates.
