✓ Pretty good, some little flawsOverall I like this app, though it could have had more categories (I paid $20 for all languages). Sometimes there is a discrepancy between what is written and what is said (e.g. Ci vs LI in Italian). The Italian voice speaks sometimes way too slow, but still I prefer that to the very fast and not very loud French version. Good, that I know some French and thus know what to expect, but my son can't really understand what is being said. I really hope that the app will be updated with more words and phrases, but those that are included now are quite useful. Good job!.Version: 1.8

✓ One-stop language appThis app is very useful because it includes more than one language (Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Spanish, Italian, German), and also because you can change the "dominant" language, so it's not only for English speakers. I also like that the native speakers speak slowly and clearly (with the exception of Spanish. It's too fast for me to follow, unfortunately). The words are written in the native script, with the translation an the phonetic breakdown below it. It also works without wifi connection, so it's great for travel..Version: 1.8

Educational but I also find it fun to sit and listen to different languages and try to repeat them myself, and I can tell that this will be so very useful on my travels. I was trying to look for an app that would teach you how to speak Vietnamese and this is perfect because it has audio AND it comes from a native speaker. I can tell that it is because I am Vietnamese and I can understand it. I just have trouble with speaking it properly so I came to this. ✓ Please read, it is a great App!I just deleted my previous review to now give this App a 5 star. ...I have searched through the App Store for all Thai language apps and I have paid for many that looked promising (this one included) but at first I wasn't too impressed with this one so I wrote away to the developer and the feed back was great and they included bug fixes and the feature of switching of voice pronunciations between male and female gender words which is important in the Thai language. ...I wonder how many people see results in an app when you send away about an issue ...I did and just that alone is 5 star rating. I am confident that anyone purchasing the full version will not be disappointed but very happy. (I can only speak for the Thai language pack as this is the only language I have been dealing with in the App Store). I have downloaded many and this is the better one thus far. ✓ Skeptical at first but GREAT APP!I just downloaded the free copy and it's High quality. I showed the Chinese version to 2 Chinese visitors and they said the pronunciations were perfect. So I'm sold. $20 for all the languages? Yes I will do it. This app is a great introduction to languages I might not ever considered learning. ✓ Pretty decent.This is one of the better language apps I've tried. The free version has the basics and the pro version has a lot more. This app is perfect for me since I'm going to Southeast Asia soon and find this useful. Although this is a pretty great app, I tested the Vietnamese and Spanish languages and it isn't without error (I speak both). The Vietnamese english pronunciations added an R at end of a lot of words which shouldn't be there and also some letters are missing that would help the pronunciation. Some of the phrases aren't the common ones you hear on the street since its a little more formal on the app, but that's okay. Also, the woman they used to do the Vietnamese language has an accent that most Vietnamese people I know don't use, so it'll be a little hard for you to communicate with others. But all in all a great app! Love that it has Indonesian and Thai..Version: 1.7

✓ Love it!First I want to point out the voice over. So great to have native speakers, and clear, loud voices. I downloaded several language apps yesterday and this is probably the best one. I haven't bought any but just going off the free versions so far, and even the free version of this has several useful phrases, and that's what- times 10 languages? I'm sure I'll buy some, maaaaybe all the languages, even though I can't imagine myself ever needing Indonesian :), but it sounds so pretty! And I want to stress again the pronunciation. I deleted another multi language app with voice over because the languages I know some of (German, French) sounded wrong... I've studied Spanish, French and German and none of those languages on this app have me thinking, "umm, that sounds wrong...", so I'm not afraid that languages I know nothing about, like Japanese or Italian, will be poorly pronounced. And saying the word correctly is a huge part of speaking another language, y'know!.Version: 1.8
