✓ Disappointingly worsenedMy previous review was below but now I think there is a bug and loads of the answers are incorrect with no option of selecting the correct one - ie I was drilling myself the WRONG Japanese and there is no way other than review of contacting the developer. It’s deteriorated disappointingly. —— Can't believe no one has reviewed this app, it is excellent. I love the reverse function ie English to Japanese and the fact that you can read ALL the words you've done contextually in proper sentences. There is a function to hear the word which is effective if you wish to. Overall I find it simple, effective, engaging, fun and cute! My favourite study app so far - and I have loads:) . ✓ Good but desperately needs proofreadingThe quizzes are good how those are broken out into 3 types, but there are some rough edges. Several example sentences are unrelated to the study word, and the translation of some words are wrong, eg 生物 = raw food, when it should be living thing. The is no furigana for the examples, so sometimes it’s hard to work out the readings. All these slow or hamper the educational benefits of the app. The app developer could be more responsive to feedback. I still lean on the side of recommending the app for the variety of drills offered, but I really wish it gets a brush up by an expert to improve the educational value..マイケルですがVersion: 1.6.1

✓ Has room for improvement 改善(かいぜん)の余地(よち)があるWell, I'm Japanese and downloaded this app to check whether it really works. I'm afraid that it doesn't seem to be made in Japan. Pronunciation is obviously odd. As another reviewer says, the voice doesn't match the readings on some words. However, overall the app is well-made. I'm not sure if it worth paying for, but if the bugs are fixed it will be a good tool for learning Japanese.._DallenVersion: 1.3.3

✓ Bad editing/many errorsThis is no good. I'm a complete newbie at Japanese, but even I can spot this application is riddled with errors, example sentences aren't quite right, mixed up words (such as mixing up green and blue) etc. The premise of the app is good, but the editing is awful. They have a 'report error' button, but needing your audience to correct you sort of defeats the purpose of a vocabulary study guide. I worry, how many wrong things am I accidentally being taught from this app? I really hope you guys get a better editor, it could be a really great app..OnoroboVersion: 1.4.0

✓ Doesn’t fit on screenI also have an iPhone SE and parts of this app doesn’t fit on my screen. I like this app, however, it’s rather annoying when I can’t select the right answer. I hope this can be fixed in the future..Frances--Version: 1.6.1

✓ Needs a ‘remove word button’There are a lot of words that I do not want to learn At All so I am a little upset that I don’t have an option to Remove words from the flash card list. That would make this app 5 star. ✓ Hopes dashed - immediate letdownsI just bought this app, and I’ve noticed that it has some pretty serious issues. I began a quiz, but the bottom choice (the 4th of 4 in a multiple choice quiz) is cut off, and you only see a thin slice of the very top of that word. Also, each page of the quiz needs to be centered. Currently, it’s too far to the right. Each page of the guide needs to be centered. They are currently too far to the right. The settings page needs to be centered. It’s too far to the right. The home page seems centered, but there’s somethign at the top-right that seems to need moving over to the left. Right now it appears to be cut off. ✓ MisleadingThe kanji quiz has kanji with kana endings, make it super obvious which answer is correct (i.e. kanji with 'ru' kana ending, and only one of four answers has a 'ru' ending). It makes the test so easy you would think you know your kanji, but it is misleading. Takes one minute to complete N5 test, then you are allured to purchase the next level..Martyshka123Version: 1.3.1

✓ Has serious problemsWhile I like the look of the app, there are problems in it's word lists that make it unusable at times. For example, on some words the voice doesn't match the reading at all. ✓ Doesn't work properlyAfter I bought the higher levels of vocab, I started getting cards where the answers show up but not the questions, so it's not fully functional.
