✓ Eh....Not bad for a drum app. Tons of crappy ones out there. The biggest issue I have is the latency. There is a noticeable gap between my tap and the actual sound that is produced. More pads with other sounds and ability to add effects would be awesome. For the reviewers that trash this app, just remember it is not a real drum machine. If you want it to sound pro then get a real drum machine or even a real kit!.Version: 3

Features I would like to see would be the ability to build a custom kit using samples from between kits and midi input allowing samples to be triggered via Core Midi support effectively giving you a drum module in your pocket. ✓ Good but room for improvementI like the simple layout, i think theres no point in having a picture of a drumset when playing drums on an app, especially on a phone, its distracting and useless. The simple layout of this app makes use of the whole screen and makes it easy to play. I find the sounds lacking somewhat though, theres not even a jazz set, the sets are indistinctive from eachother and uninspiring. Would love to see more electronic sounds, and the possibility to create sets entirely from any set..Version: 4.9.3

✓ Love the app but background activity wiped my batteryI love the drum pad experience with this app. There is little to no perceivable lag and the drum sounds are high quality. The battery in my 5S started to drain dramatically faster after installing iOS 8 and after checking my battery usage I found that Rhythm Pad has accounted for 47% of my battery usage in the last week. To make it worse, it said that it was the app's background activity that was draining my battery. I've since deleted the app and my battery now lasts an entire day. Unfortunate since I enjoyed the app and even spent money upgrading it..Version: 4.6.2

✓ BittersweetThis is the update I always dreamed for, like seriously. By adding all the times I use this app throughout the day, it probably comes to be 2/3 hours. BUT, the latency and performance can be bad, VERY bad depending on what kit I use. I almost lost my mind thinking it was my phone but it is most definitely this new update. Please just match that original latency and performance to this new update! I love the new drum sounds and if the kit wouldn’t glitch as much, I could see myself using this app in professional settings, please know I mean this respectfully. Like I said prior, this is my favorite drum app on any device EVER. Also, can we please re-add the ability to connect to Garageband? ✓ Can't disable notificationsGreat app, could use more kits & customizable pads. But pretty good for a free version. However, being unable to disable push notifications is a deal breaker. Your options are daily or weekly. There needs to be a never option. Some people only play as a hobby or distraction, and don't need daily or weekly reminders to "practice" because we will play when we play. The notification can't even be cleared. This is probably more annoying than the notification itself. Outside of this, it would be a 5 star app..Version: 4.0
