✓ It used to be an excellent application, but not now.I initially started to use this software in 2012, and by that time, it was an awesome platform to get the news around the world in Chinese. At that time, it was highly neutral and accurate in many aspects. However, things started to change in recent years, and this process is largely accelerated after the middle of 2018. This platform is no longer a neutral and objective one. Most news outside China is expressed in negative words with negative images, or negative word with positive images. However, for Chinese news, it mostly present as positive word with positive images. For some news of the United States, it presents positive or negative images, with seemingly positive words at first but negative words afterward. News about sensitive issues such as Hong Kong is almost always pro-China or pro-communist party and avoid main stream news of other large media groups such as CNN. I understand this software’s primary audience is Chineze Citizens and those who moves overseas but still fluent in Chinese and have a tie with China in different ways. Since this platform is based on Chinese, not much foreigners will actually read it. If it was the case in the past, it should not be now since it's standpoint is totally pro-China. I could see the shadow of the communist party. But I don't mean that’s wrong. I just need to mention that a great company should not focus on politics. Once they begin to do so, it's no longer a great one. This is the only Chinese media that I do read daily. However, I am wish to get more neutral and detailed information. It shouldn't only contain words written by those state-based media, but also more main streams ones. If it continues to worse, I many had to quit and leave this place for those China nationalism. Today's news is totally the case since I can not find any positive things other than the first pro-China news. A good things there is a way to solve. You could separate it into two versions. One for those in Apple’s mainland China market, and totally on Chinese. One for those in Apple's rest of the world market, and totally on English. The content could also different. I hope this platform could improve, and this should be the case because the regular readers are those in higher economic status. They have no direct threat to the China or the rest of the world in any way..Version: 4.5.2
