Sleek, beautiful, has night mode (so you don't feel like you have a flashlight in your face at the crack of dawn), easy navigation and even helps with suggestions to exploring new feeds. I have only two suggestions. Once you added a feed, change the button text to Done instead of having stuck at Cancel. Great look, system of viewing articles (and a choice of preference there), saving, and sharing. I cannot imagine any RSS reader improving on what this app delivers, and so I'm putting this quest to bed. I can add, through my own experience, a report on support. I was having a problem with one aspect of the app that would have been quickly and easily corrected in settings, had I not repeatedly overlooked the toggle. Through support services contact, the developer patiently pinpointed the source of my issue, and clearly supplied the remedy. So, I can attest to Newsify's stellar customer support..Version: 4.8

It's a well written, well designed app that makes excellent use of gesture based navigation to get around the App. I use Newsify with my Feedly account and it works very well. Personally I prefer the List view but there are so many configurable options for Syncing, reading, ordering and viewing that you can really tailor the App for your needs. If you spend a lot of time consuming RSS feeds, you find Newsify an excellent choice for consumption on the go. Newsify is a highly quality, very stable Application. Well done Dev. My only criticism is the in-app purchase for premium features. This is great functionality but I still feel it's priced too high. £10/year or £1/month would be a no-brainer. ✓ This transformed my RSS workflow.For people who consume lots of news and need it quickly, this app is fantastic. The data-rich format, while still keeping images, is the best I’ve tested and the upload speeds with a premium subscription are great. The full-text feature is crucial to making this great since so many feeds never show the full texts. In the three or four times that full texts didn’t download, the developer responded within hours to get it working. Full text is doubly impressive since I rely on a lot of niche and foreign news sources and still rarely have trouble getting full text. I've tried a few other RSS readers in the last year but this has simply blown me away. It has a crisp UI, is rapid at synchronising feeds, was uber easy to setup with google reader!!! There is even consistency in design and settings between each iDevice I own, something that other RSS readers that I have tried have lacked. Please add a search option! When I configure the article order to display the new ones at the top instead of the bottom by default, subsequently marking the read items from the menu will mark the TOP items as read, instead of bottom ones. Well done, and thanks! .... The most important aspects of a newsreader for me are that it provide a really fast method for browsing feeds, and that the reading experience is simple and efficient. Newsify delivers on this with a fantastic interface into the feeds with simple and efficient thumb gestures to scroll through articles and an easy sideways gesture in and out of articles. Add to this a wonderfully configurable experience - from font sizing to gesture modification and everything in between to suite every need. Don't waste hours looking for the proper RSS reader out there, just grab this one and spend the time tweaking it to your liking. However, Newsify let's me rename feeds and manage folders/tags, which Reeder STILL can't do, despite having other really advanced and rich features. Newsify also let's you use your favorite mobilizer, although mine is Readability, which Reeder integrates beautifully. To top it all off, the almost Flipboard-like newspaper browsing mode of Newsify is actually not too bad. So, I have Reeder and Newsify side-by-side on my iPad and iPhone..Version: 1.5

After looking around for an alternative I found this which was exactly what I originally wanted. The interface is great,it flows well and works how Google Reader used to with the bonus of a nicer UI. I would consider the paid upgrade were it not as expensive as it is. Even £5 one off would be great but the current model is too much I not encouraging me to pay the developers what I think they deserve for such a good product. ✓ Good design but it always crashesOf all the rss readers I've tried I like this one the best but it has one very annoying issue and one minor issue that rates it only 3 stars with me. The minor issue is the way the viewer handles the controls at the bottom of the screen that allow selecting things like marking an article as unread, selecting the next/previous article, etc. the part that's an issue is the way the design has that area disappear and reappear. The transition between hide/show is too slow and too easy to toggle. So I end up turning it off when I don't want it off and having to tap on the article in just the right place (or more to the point, not in the wrong place) and waiting for some set, slow interval for it to reappear so I can use it. I want it as instantaneous as possible or better yet, I want an option to keep it always displayed. The major issue is that after a period of time the app crashes. It doesn't seem to happen at predictable times. It does recover rather well but it should never have crashed in the first place. Update: the app no longer crashes..Version: 5.1.1

If you have given a toggle switch for persons who don’t need to have a pop-up every time, it would be great. Also displaying a confirmation message mentioning ‘the article has been added to your reading list’ would be helpful. I don’t need animated magazine pages or huge preview images, just a continuously scrolling list of items. However, there are a few things I wish Newsify would fix: On sites like Salon and Cnet, the web page refreshes frequently, presumably to serve ads. This makes it really tough to scroll through an article in reader mode without it reloading constantly and forcing me to turn on reader mode over and over. Please allow Newsify to force reader mode on continuously, and prevent pages from reloading without user interaction. Also, I need the ability to clear cookies and cached data..Version: 5.5

✓ My most used appI use this app more than any other. I love it! It works seamlessly with Feedly, it's full featured, and it's never crashed for me. I especially like how it reduces the brightness of images when in night mode (as well as the obviously needed inversion of the text) other reading apps forget to do this. My only gripe is how it loses the Readability view when I swipe back (but not up and down). Often as I swipe back, a thought will enter my mind, and I'll quickly return to the article to find that the Readability content has been replaced by the feed content.
