✓ MarkThis book is a perfect example of how electronic reference books can be better than paper books. This mushroom guide has multiple photographs of each species and if that's not enough there are links to Google, Flickr and Wikipedia for more photographs and in-depth information. One of the more interesting features of this book is a mechanism to submit your photographs of unknown mushrooms for the mushroom community and experts to identify. My hope is that this community will expand the list of mushrooms beyond the 300 or so that are presently in the book. Another useful feature is being able to alphabetically organize the mushroom list into common names or scientific names. The scientific descriptions and comments on edibility are terse and to the point. The link to Wikipedia is built in for more in-depth information. Another important element is the ability to tap any picture for a full-screen view. Over the years I've used many mushroom field guides and none come close to the functionality of this one..Version: 1.4.1
✓ Awesome appI was nervous that there were no reviews. I had a few mushrooms I wanted to identify and few had any reviews and the web was not helping. Tried the lite version and loved the identifying tools, pictures and interface. I decided to take the gamble on the full version. Found it had a lot of great pictures and easily identified what I wanted. Had 1 I could not identify so I submitted it to be identified. Hope to find a result since the web could not help. Yes it was pricey. But if you hike a lot like me and love the odd fungi you will love the easy of this app..Version: 1.4
✓ Hikers reviewLove the app and it's great for when out in the bush hiking to identify some species. Most people are looking for edible species and it's not that easy as some vary in colour and look vary similar. If still you are unsure do not eat. ☠️ There is something wrong with the app where it won't log in properly where I can't share my finds. I hope they fix it soon..Version: 2.1.2

✓ Very impressive!This is the perfect app for any budding field Mycologist! I'm finding it so useful to identify fungi on the spot using the step by step characteristics filter. I also enjoy the fact that you can take a snapshot, record notes and mark it's GPS position, put your unknown finds to public and expert opinion on the online consultation, check out other people's finds from around the world and photo sharing. Plenty of other features seal the deal and make this an essential purchase. I can't recommend this app enough, very impressive indeed!.Version: 1.4.1

I like the way the pictures of mushrooms change so that you have to learn how a mushroom looks in many stages and different positions. ✓ Really nice.I really like this app. Its pretty much exactly what you need if you like to collect mushrooms. No heavy books to carry in the forrest, all the info is always in your pocket. App looks really nice and is fast and responsive. All mushrooms have a lot of pictures. If you are still not able to identify a mushroom you can always use the integrated mushroom community and ask them to identify the mushrooms you found with the help of photos you submit. There is even some mushroom expert who checks if the community identified the mushrooms correctly. I seriously don’t know how a mushroom app could offer much more..Version: 1.4.1
