✓ Missing Pending updates optionDear brothers. I’ve noticed that “Pending Updates” option is not showing anymore in Library section on my ipad. I can only update publication when i manually find it downloaded on my tablet. Also sometimes context menu on scripture or paragraph is not showing after sometime of usage. ✓ Big report: highlighting resulting in a swipeHello, since there doesn’t seem to be any way to report a bug, I’ll do it here. When on a small phone screen, and trying to highlight text (say, of a WT) the app frequently tries to “turn the page” while highlighting, which is extremely frustrating. This seems to be a bug, or at least a behaviour that should be able to be turned off. I might suggest changing the interaction so that pages only “turn” when a finger is swiped from either left or right edge of the screen, and not when a finger swipes from the middle of the page (when trying to highlight). ✓ Thank you, but...Brothers, thank you for all your hard work! May I make a request? I have dyslexia and synesthesia. Studying electronically is very difficult for me. I would so appreciate a grey highlighting option. Or an underlining option. Words make me see colours. When I highlight using a colour that isn't the same colour as the word it really does a number on my brain cells! If you could possibly give an option of changing the text to the one especially for folks with dyslexia, that would be such a blessing! But I think that may be too big of an ask....Version: 14.1
✓ A suggestionDear brothers, Thank you so much for the JW Library app. It’s becoming better and better with each update and it’s a wonderful study and ministry tool. One suggestion if I may: in the Library / Downloaded tab, downloaded publications are no longer indexed by date order. In the earlier versions of the app if you selected to sort your downloaded material by Title, it would also index them by date order. This is no longer the case and this means that if you have lots of Watchtower issues downloaded for example, it makes it rather difficult to find the Watchtower issue you are looking for. I hope that soon you will be able to rectify this as it will make it easier to locate literature in your library in an offline environment. Thank you again for all your hard work!.Version: 14.1.2
✓ Wonderful app thank you!Updates are always wonderful. Great to have mouse support on JW Library on my iPad too, only issue with this is I can’t select text on the main part of the screen. So I can’t select a section of text, then copy, highlight or access any of the text options with my mouse, only with my hand/stylus. It’s not a big deal but would be great if that becomes available. ✓ Thank you for all your hard work brothers!I love this app so much... It helps me in my everyday life and makes studying easier for me since I use my phone a lot. I love how easy it is to access everything from the menu at the bottom and I’m sure this took you all a while to make so I’m very thankful. I have this little issue but I’m not sure why and it’s that when I highlight the magazine or the book and the Bible or just other publications that you all kindly upload here the magnifying glass doesn’t show up.... I’ve had this issue for a bit now and don’t know how to fix it. The issue doesn’t affect me much but the magnifying glass makes it easier to highlight a certain text. ✓ Suggestion for personal notesIt would be very useful if we could organise the personal study notes by date order. At the moment, when you select a tag, it filters all the notes displaying from oldest to newest. This is a great feature but I find this takes a long time to scroll to the bottom to see the latest note, especially as the notes go back a few years now. Thanks for all you’re doing!.Version: 12.0
✓ My most used app and the most highly valuedThere’s nothing we can’t live without sparing our Bibles, but this is app very close! Thank you for the amazing work on this, it really makes a difference. Requests:- 1. The personal Bible reading schedule in the LF book - please could this be more easily accessed from the home page to make daily personal reading so much easier just as finding the text is so easy. Or maybe a link from personal study to the Bible reading schedule in the LF book would be easier? 2. Back up reminder. So many comments and notes now but have to remember to back up regularly! ✓ Suggestion for new updateDear Brothers, Thank you so much for all the hard work on this amazing app! Jehovah is really directing the work and it just keeps getting better! As a mum I have noticed the new features to change the speed of the children’s song in the videos section by tapping in the screen and also the ability to repeat the song the same way. May I respectfully suggest a ‘lock screen’ option be made available for young children. I give my young son the phone to hold to watch a couple of his favourite song videos and as he touches the screen it replays the song or changes the speed the instant he touches it. A lock screen option would be amazing so that young ones can hold a phone/iPad and watch without it changing anything. Many thanks to you hard working family of Jehovah!.Version: 13.3

✓ Excellent work!Dear brothers, I need to let you know of a bug when tapping the links to source material in a publication. The link becomes inactive when the device is rotated so that the source/study notes do not load into the side bar. ✓ Generally solid appThis is a well rounded implementation of our JW literature. Some feedback: 1) You can only play audio when the mute button is off - should not be the case. Maybe add this as an option in settings. 2) when playing audio and phone switches off aka sleep mode, the audio will stop playing. With Apple Music or podcasts this does not happen. The app forces you to keep your phone screen on to play anything. Why? This wastes battery unnecessarily. 3) might be time to redesign the Home Screen, especially favorite's as they have no real method of organizing items. Can I suggest implementing tags in favorites / similar to notes, and dedicate a new screen to favorites? Keep up the great work!!.Version: 13.0.1

✓ Problem with the appSo, as of now, when I launch the app in English, I can't access any books or convention releases or dramas or video presentations. Whenever I go into media for example and press on the audio button, it says that there is no audio dramas or anything in my language, which is English. One problem I’ve noticed today is all of my books/videos, everything, needs to be downloaded again, including my bible. No biggie I’m happily downloading it all again just gonna miss my old study notes but that just means I can just study it again and find new points. ✓ New problem on iPhoneThis is an indispensable app and much appreciated tool. Recently I’ve been having trouble playing videos in the Life and Ministry material (using iPhone 12). When clicking the video link there is no way of playing the video. I have tried updating the app and rebooting the phone but this doesn’t help. We want to thank the hard work and dedication to the governing body and the IT department that keeps giving us the best experience for use in the ministry, meetings and personal study. I did want to say that my wives iPhone 7 Plus has been having an issue. For some reason not all the publications that I have access to (iPad mini 3) in Spanish can be seen on her phone. Almost as if there was a “limited” app she was running. We have tried everything but can’t seem to figure it out. She can’t even download the publications for the midweek meeting or the weekend meeting. ✓ How blessed we are!I have used this app every single day since starting my study in 2021 and I have only just realised that I’ve never taken the time to give it a 5* review! Using this app, I went through every chapter of the Enjoy Life Forever Brochure with a sister until I progressed to baptism in 2022. Now I use this app daily for Bible reading, meeting content and personal study. I particularly love the search feature (the magnifying glass)… The Israelites/early Christians would have to tirelessly search through scrolls for a scripture they couldn’t quite place, but for us we can just pop in a key word and we’ve found it! We’ve downloaded the app onto my son’s new iPad (5th gen/2017 if that makes a difference) but it is having the same problems mentioned in Chartilly’s review; there are no videos and hardly any publications available for download. His brother has the same model iPad and the apps were downloaded on the same day but his is working fine. Any suggestions please? ✓ Absolutely the BEST!!I use this app every single day, and I’m soo very grateful that Jehovah helps us to be able to draw closer to him using this technology. I love it! Thank you brothers and sisters for all of your hard work in creating this app and for adding new features all the time. There’s only one thing that it hasn’t been doing correctly for the past five months or so, and that is updating any videos that have been modified or changed. When I go to update a video or music, it says that there is a download error. At first it says that it’s download completely, but a few seconds later it says “installation failed”. I’m guessing it’s just bug that’ll be cleared up later. Not a deal breaker or anything, because I can download the initial released videos and music just fine. But I just wanted your department to be aware of what’s happening on my end, and maybe for others too. I have OS 15.6.1 on iPhone 12 Pro Max. ✓ Daily Text font design needs more workStrangely, the takeaway message now is the date, it the largest feature of the daily text. I would have thought it should be the scripture? The date should be small, perhaps all caps and in a lighter font. Next, the scripture should be 2 points or more larger in a readable font, italic is OK, however the new italic, although it looks pretty, is difficult to read. It may work with a size increase. ✓ PLEASE HELP ‼️🔊Dear developers, thank you very much for that wonderful app, I absolutely love it and use it for everything - bible studies, personal studies and meetings. Thank you very much However, I have an issue that I really really hope you could fix. It’s the volume. I love to listen to the original songs when I’m on my way to work or college, they really upbuild me. But now I find it very difficult because of the volume. I have very sensitive ears and the MAXIMUM volume I can bear is 40-45 dB. But the lowest I can get in this app is 65 - 75 😢. I can’t listen to my favourite music now or watch any videos on my phone. If I do I could damage my ears and it causes very bad headaches. It wasn’t as bad before, it’s just COVID caused my ears to become extremely sensitive and made my headaches a lot worse than before. I have XR and I already set up “reduce loud sounds in headphones” in phone settings, but the lowest it can go is 75dB, which is double of the most comfortable volume for me. I was hoping if you could set up an extra sound regulation bar so I could change to volume of any level. I have it in the app VideoToMP3, I was hoping if you could do something similar. ✓ Love & much appreciation2022 - Brothers, I still love having the library at our fingertips. I’m hoping that being able to open our Bible in a split screen style would be helpful. Sometimes you want the Watchtower open but you want to look at an auxiliary scripture that isn’t listed but you can’t unless you leave the Watchtower or book and open your Bible. I hope you like this idea and that I explained it clearly. Thank you to Jehovah & his loving organization for making our lives easier by giving the spiritual food right at our fingertips. No excuses of not having our study materials available. I LOVE the introduction to God's word section, perfect for service. Not to be ungrateful but I would like to be able to underline or make notes in the Bible on-line, it is nice for the Bible highlights portion of the meeting. ✓ Great appThis app is absolutely Amazing and we realise a massive amount of work has gone into it. Just since the last update with reference guide material etc, my iPad mini 4 is quite slow to refresh, I have to wait a good 10 seconds to switch between hom page and publications or media or meetings tab if I haven’t touched the screen for a few minutes. But all the features do work, it’s just slow getting started if I haven’t tapped on the screen for a bit..Version: 11.1
✓ Update Issues iOS 13.1I enjoy this app so much. However with the recent iOS update to 13.1, there are issues with the Accessability feature Invert for those with low vision. I do not have low vision but my Bible student does. I prefer to use the Invert feature myself with a darker reading background. Since the new update, and Invert/Smart Invert is switched on, majority of the text is blank on the screen/app. If I highlight text with Invert off, then turn Invert on only the highlighted text is visible. Everything else not highlighted is BLANK. When Invert is turned off, the text is visible. Also with Invert turned on the pictures are turned into negative film, verses the picture being true to its color (normal looking photo) like it has in the past to view a normal looking photo with the dark background and white text. If accessability features, especially the Invert feature, can be fixed, it would be much appreciated. If there was an option to read in a “light” or “dark” mode, that would be wonderful to not have to turn on the Accessability shortcut. Other than that, this app is a wonderful tool to keeping up with the meetings and spiritual learning. Thank you for all that you do!.Version: 11.3.3
✓ I love it so muchI am a girl who’s 12 about to turn 13 I’m mexican american and this is my absolute favorite app! i use it for the meeting,preaching,my personal study and im sharing it with my friends so that they can learn about jehova and so far they all seem very interested. This app makes me so happy! I love being able to read the bible and study. My favorite are the songs they make me so happy when I listen to them. I’m so eternally thankful for everyone that helped made this app! It makes me so happy to watch the Caleb and Sofia videos (I mainly watch them and read the bible in spanish) I enjoy reading the book “Nos Enseña” I am currently reading it with my aunt and it’s very easy to understand and i love that because usually it’s really hard for me to comprehend things but the app has made everything so easy to understand it’s incredible!!💖 I 100% recommend down loading it! it’s very helpful and i’m glad to be announcing the word of Jehova and Jesus! However I’ve just installed it on a new 2021 iPad and it will only install the basic suite of publications. When I pull down the Home Screen to refresh it, it always says ‘Check failed’. ✓ Great App, Would Love Additional Favorites/Bookmark AccessibilityThank you brothers for your hard work on what is really a tremendous app :). I use it several times a day and it’s easily my most used app and I don’t have any complaints. I do however want to make an enhancement request: In the iOS app, I can press and hold some of the icons at the bottom and a relevant “History” list will come up. I love this. Would it be possible to add another tab, such as “Favorites” with a favorites list, or “Bookmarks” that displays a bookmarks list, or both? Maybe even a “Reading List” for items I want to read or listen to later... The layout could be similar to iOS Safari web browser where they have three tabs/options at the top... ✓ Absolutely love this app…..….there have been some annoying problems. Thank Jehovah for the wonderful convention on patience. I’ve been having problems with the app crashing. I’m in the middle of taking notes during a meeting, personal study, or just listening to the Bible reading and then it crashes. Also, the items in my favorites seem to duplicate itself and rearrange itself. I try to put things in the order that I need it to be in and, next thing you know, it’s back to being completely disorganized. We all know that Jehovah’s Witnesses are the most organized people in the world. So having things disorganized can mess with one’s patience….especially for someone like me with mild ADD. One more thing…. I have so many books. But I don’t have space for them in my house so I rely on the books in the app for information. Some of the books have charts that I’d love to be able to view on my iPad, but can’t. We were just looking up the prophecies about the Messiah. The digital “All Scriptures” book had the [chart] or timeline we were looking for, but with no way to view it. Will there be a way to view that chart and similar charts or maps like that in the future? I greatly appreciate all the hard work and self-sacrificing love from my brothers and sisters. ✓ Glitch stops creating and restoring backups on iPadThe app is amazing but for the past few weeks it won’t let me restore or create backups on my iPad. I am running latest iPad OS 16.6 and latest jwlibrary 14.0.2. I lost all my convention notes and now cannot make notes as I study and read the Bible as they will be lost when the glitch is repaired. ✓ Great but a suggestion for those with learning difficultiesChanging the back ground colour, or adding a colour filter would be an absolute life saver for me! I can barely read black on white text, or any light back ground, so this is hard to Study with and I revert back to books (which are not readily available, I’ve asked for several books for over a year now and still no help at the hall). Just a small note tho since the most recent update, the option to stream videos as an alternative to downloading is really helpful, but because it just automatically plays if you tap on it while connected to the internet it’s very easy to stream it by mistake (which is going to cause even more awkward moments at the meeting with people accidentally playing videos 😂) but I have noticed that even if I stop it and close the video the sound continues to play and because I’ve already closed the video I have no way of stopping it other than to close the whole app, is this a bug that can be fixed? ✓ A little request!Hello! Thank you so much to everyone that has put the time and effort in to make such a wonderful app! It’s a useful tool for making notes and highlighting certain scriptures for whenever I need them! Thank you! Although, I do have an idea for this app... I think it should have a nighttime setting. So basically, the background for the app is white, which is quite bright (Wow it rhymes 😂😁) of course. But I know fellow Jehovah Witnesses that maybe go on this app at night, or when it’s dark and/or very late and having a white background doesn’t really help the eyes! So the nighttime feature could make the backgrounds go black, so that no one would have to squint to read a scripture, etc., because the background would be darker and it won’t be so bad for the eyes. Obviously this is a setting, so it’s optional to set this and if you want/don’t want it on/off at sometime, you could set it the nighttime feature to go on/off whenever you need to! ✓ PiP not working properlyI use to download videos rather than stream them, as I don’t always have the internet access. PiP recently introduced into the app doesn’t work on downloads - when I play downloaded video, my iPad displays the video icon only, after minimising it into the corner, only then I can watch the video, with the moving picture. After deleting the video and streaming it, normal resolution and minimised video works ok. I try to keep my device regularly updated - iOS and all apps , doesn’t it seem like an update clash? ✓ Update issues, but still remarkableHello, brothers. I love this app and I thank you a lot for your effort and work put into it. The only trouble I’m having right now is that the latest revision of the New World Translation that was recently published in Spanish still hasn’t appeared in my app to update or download. I’m aware of other brothers and sisters using it on their phones and tablets, but for some reason the latest version won’t appear in my app (I have an iPhone SE, I’m not sure if other SE users may be experiencing the same difficulties, but the iPhone 5G has no problem with it). Also another issue I’ve had is that initially I thought that maybe I needed to just delete the app and install it again to see if that would do the trick, well it just made me loose everything I had downloaded before (which I was aware that would happen), but then it took the app about a week for the Activity guide and the Watchtower Study magazine to reappear in the Meetings section. I use the notes feature a lot! At the meetings and pioneer meetings/school I use them to take notes. There are currently two videos needing updated, but they will not. They won’t even show me they are trying after I tapped the update button. In addition, I would like to suggest an option to the highlighting. With the release of dark mode, a couple of the colors look a little off tone, the orange and pink. The orange especially. Maybe, if possible, add a tone adjuster bar so users can edit the color to their liking and visibility. Also too, if you could bring in the option to underline (as a highlight option). ✓ Problems with study BibleFirst off I want to say that in general I am delighted and satisfied with our JW library app. However I have just downloaded the study Bible and find that the study content in the margins will not scroll, so I can only see the information at the top of the column. ✓ Such a blessing (Adding a Suggestion/Fix)This app is my daily tool; my daily driver. I could not function without it, and it's such a blessing from Jehovah. Thank you to the brothers developing the app! If I may add a suggestion for a fix. I am on an iPhone 14 Pro Max (but it happened with my iPhone 13 Pro Max as well)... when in dark mode, the scroll bar on the right side of the screen is too dark to see. This is a really, really small detail, but it does affect functionality more than you'd expect. I frequently use the scroll bar to gauge how much reading I have left, and if I'm listening to my Bible reading, by looking at the audio progress line, I can gauge where I'm at in the chapter if I get lost, subsequently dragging the scroll bar to that area of the chapter. It's a huge help in getting back on track and pacing myself. It's a small detail, but if fixed, it would not only help tremendously, but also make the app look that much more polished. ✓ New IdeaIt would be very cool if, for example, I could do this: when I open a publication, I can draw and make notes on the publication itself as on a printed version. I assume that the owners of the iPad and Apple Pencil (and in general, no matter what stylus you have) would like to have such a function. For example, at the top right, you can add a button, say "edit". I press it, and then I can draw something in a circle, make some notes in the text itself, if, for example, I am in a foreign language congregation, I can write a translation of some words right in the text, add some thoughts (of course there are Notes) but on the text itself, writing like on paper will be very very very convenient. ✓ Brilliant, but where has the save feature gone?This app is incredible and it’s mind blowing to think of how far it has come. I can only imagine what you have planned for it in the future. I’ve noticed recently however I’ve lost the ability to back up my notes across my devices. I used to either air drop a backup from my iPad to iPhone or email a backup from my laptop. ✓ Bug FixesThe recent bug fix helped, but ever since a little while fore the playlist update was available, the app lags. Opening a note takes between 5 and 10 seconds (which never used to be the case), the colour that is selected when highlighting a word or words stay there even after deleting it. ✓ Notes featureThe app is brilliant! I'm very appreciative of all the features. Apart from the day to day use the provision to search for scriptures using a few words is very useful. However, the note feature does need a little adjusting for example; correct audio dictation response as sometimes it writes sentences or words that were not dictated. Also the ability to cut and paste information within the same note will be great, in addition, to be able to put the cursor anywhere in the body of the note to edit or delete the information will also add to the effectiveness of using the note feature in the app. Thank you very much for all your hard work and tremendous effort in continuing to make this app more user friendly and super efficient..Version: 9.3
✓ Great content, could improve UX substantiallyThank you so much for developing and maintaining this application; it's clearly a game changer. I just wanted to write this review in the case anyone is monitoring feedback, as there are a couple of UX issue that, if resolved, would massively improve usability 🙂 Videos. There are two distinct actions when a video is touched: Stream or download. I'd bet analytics data suggests downloading is quite a popular action. However, the majority of the touch region streams, while the tiny cloud icon has an indistinct touch region which often incorrectly initiates streaming. This is horrible when you are in a quiet environment, or need to share a video without wasting a householders time. Why not just make the touch region show the download menu, and add streaming as an option at the top of that menu? That way users can intuitively identify what the result of their action will be, rather than have to somehow instinctively understand that streaming is an option and is somehow different that the download option which appears to apply to the whole thumbnail. Publication menus. This is one of those things that you eventually learn and adapt too, but it's still confusing for new users. If I got to publications, and select Watchtower, I am presented with the year categories. However, when navigating back to the parent menu, it is common to contract the current menu by click on Watchtower again. This is typically indicates to the user by having a chevron to indicate this, as is the case with jw.org's stylesheet. All Types is displayed with a chevron, but it take conscious investigate to really determine that as it is so counterintuitive. These issues only critically impact two user groups: New users (i.e. non-witnesses) who may abandon the app because it "doesn't work" (I've personally encountered this with return visits); and power users who are utilizing new features such as iOS video sharing in other languages, or who are operating meetings via teleconference. Again, this sounds critical; I understand the time and effort to get the app to this point, and it's an amazing accomplishment. Please keep up the great work! But these changes could genuinely allow someone to plant a seed in a time critical situation, or to read content they need rather than abandoning the app. And the development impact would implementing standard menu elements rather than building/maintaining non-standard and counterintuitive ones..Version: 11.6

✓ A few requestsIt’s hard to imagine not having this app now it’s fantastic and gets better with each update! Some requests although I’m pretty sure your miles ahead and already working on them. Notes to sync between devices as sometimes I do study in a work break on my phone but then study on my iPad at home and the notes don’t sync. dark mode would be great, I used to use it in iBooks with some other contrast options similar to iBooks would be really appreciated as it’s easier on the eyes. The apps been out for a while but this feature never added. Now dark mode is available is it any easier to add? Siri Shortcuts access to read the days text and bible. There are ways to do this but it’d be great to start having integration into the app itself. News and Notifications for news items within the jw library app rather than checking the website. ✓ Great app but one requestFantastic app and is so handy for everyday use and has made my personal study so much easier. One idea i had would be to hyperlink key words so when you click on it it bring sup the insight page on that topic. ✓ New highlight colors are a bit dullI loved the previous bright highlight colors they made whatever I highlighted pop out at and with so much spiritual food and my ADHD brain that's a necessary thing. I don’t want to complain and I completely understand the point of improving the readability of the highlighter colors however the new ones went completely to the opposite side and became to dull...and now for me personally at least are kinda pointless. I see no difference in highlighted material and the material without highlights. No important points I highlight are catching my eye when I try to skim quickly through my study publications to locate the points I need. It all just runs together and I have to strain my eyes to find the points. Is there perhaps a shade in between what we previously had that may be too bright for some and the dull ones that were just installed last week for those that need something a little brighter? Thankfully, only my JW app on my iphone updated to the new version I still have the old version of the app on my Ipad so I still can manage to do my personal study etc on it. ✓ App crashes when trying to open after updating app to 11.6Hello. I’ve just updated to the latest version(11.6). When I open the app, I get the message “This app is no longer shared with you. To use it, you must buy it from the App Store.” In the App Store, all I can do is open the app. I cannot redownload/purchase it. When I open it from the App Store, I get the same message as above and cannot open the app. So I’m no longer able to use/open the app. Please help. Thank you.🙂 Hello again. I’ve fixed the problem. For some reason, after downloading the updated app(11.6) from the App Store, I seemed to have the old version(11.5) still on my iPad. So when I tried to open the app, the old version(11.5) was no longer available and hence the message mentioned above. But when I went to the App Store, it recognised that 11.6 had been downloaded which is why I I was only able to “open” the app and not update it again. To fix the problem, I had to “offload” the app (NOT “delete” the app) in settings (go to ‘general’, ‘iPad storage’, and select ‘JW Library’, ‘offload app’), then re-download the app, which then updated it to latest version(11.6). Doing it this way, I was able to open and use the app again and keep all the data that was saved on the app, without loosing it. If anyone has the same issue that I had, this process will hopefully solve the problem.😀.Version: 11.6

To have the Bible study notes and relevant articles linked in has transformed my study. ✓ Bug trackerV14.0 When I edit a note in the Bible, the cursor sometimes jumps to another note and the content is cleared and overwritten. I cannot use it without fear of randomly loosing my study notes. V14.0.1 The problem with overwriting the notes was fixed, however the cursor still frequently jumps elsewhere. V14.0.2 The lagginess of the notes was greatly improved. The backup size went back to normal. When editing a note, the cursor sometimes unexpectedly jumps to the end of the note. Sometimes the last typed letter is removed. Sometimes the last deleted letter is restored. Looks like a race condition to me. The word autocompletion is broken. The text sometimes reverts back, sometimes results in missing letters in a word. The app frequently crashes while editing notes. V14.1.2 When I copy & paste a note, many weird characters are inserted (e.g. %20 for a space) - this happens when a comment starts with e.g. “v9: …”, apparently the comment being considered an url and escaped throughout the text..Version: 14.1.2

✓ Highlighting in notes and undo button?Something is happening with the notes. It’s become glitchy. It starts deleting as I type. Entire notes have disappeared as I am typing them. At one point, all highlighting in an article disappeared as I was adding a note. It reappeared later, but i was unable to finish adding the note. I had to close and reopen the app. It got better, but is still glitchy. I’m afraid I’ll lose all my notes. Otherwise… What a great tool. If there were ever a way to have an undo button, that would be wonderful. Sometimes my clumsy fingers hit the screen and underline a portion of text, overwriting whatever underlining was previously there. ✓ Reminders would be great!If you’re like me I struggle with the “Martha complex” as I call it. I am anxious about many things. I have had to put an alert on my phone to remind me to read my Bible. And today I thought; what if there was a built in Bible reading schedule in Jw library?! Sure we have the paper copy, but a digital one would be even better because of alerts. It would say: “reminder: read 2 Samuel chapter 7 tonight” Or “ resume your reading of 2 Samuel chapter 7 tonight” I’d schedule my alert to remind me at 8pm when the child has gone to bed. Maybe we’d have to click “complete” before it moves to the next chapter. Or maybe it’d just know that I left off at a certain verse and the next day it’d tell me “resume reading 2 Samuel chapter 7 verse 7.” Satan has made the world so busy, the streets are busy and our minds are busy too. ✓ Literally so encouragingThis app is great for meeting, and as an 11 year old (minor) I love watching Caleb and Sofia videos, and I like watching whiteboard animations, I like what’s in the teenagers and the kids sections, and I love the original songs, they are so nice. I love studying and it’s so much easier when you can have everything downloaded at the click of a button, and as a minor I haven’t gotten baptized yet and the teach us book is what I’m currently studying to work towards my goal, I’m glad that I can study it whenever I have time. I love making Jehovah happy, and learning how to be his friend. And I love studying the watchtower, and the experiences of others. Jehovah has strengthened me so much and I’m so glad that he’s my friend, and just today I told some girls at school about my religion. This app truly is a blessing from Jehovah, and it makes meetings and service so easy, we haven’t had door to door service as there’s Covid right now. ✓ Great app but need a few tweak maybe adding subtitles in all videos.Dear brothers, Thanks you so much for your hard work in creating this app which is fantastic to use but there is a few tweak I like to mention is I know some videos have got subtitles and others don’t, for the profoundly deaf myself I find it frustrating when there is no subtitles as I rely on my signer to sign what the video saying which mean I’m missing out the video so if possible and I appreciate that you are busy but please consider the deaf and hard of hearing impaired that without subtitle how can they enjoyed their video. As I just look now with the video of Exodus and no subtitle how frustrating that will be which mean again I will have to miss out the video by watching my signer signing. ✓ Very handy. Great appHave been using this app since it was first developed. Great to have all publications available. However, i do have an idea that may help during congregation meetings. During the W/T, I usually prepare the Theme, and Read Scriptures as images used in Only M (Soundbox program). So the theme is displayed from the beginning, until an image relating to the paragraph is used. The same for the read scriptures. When it is time for a read scripture, we display it on the screen so it can be read and easily referred to during answers. Then refer back to the W/T theme. It might be worth having these within the JW Library app as images entitled "Theme" & "Read Scriptures" that can be displayed on the screen, in the same format as the paragraph images are used. And only needs to be WT Theme, and Read Scriptures. Not all that are cited. This way, it helps brothers and sisters who have difficulty with their tablets or mobiles constantly switching through etc. Just an idea that can be included on the "Media" section of the W/T article that is being studied for that week. Same area as the Middle, Ending song. Then Images below with the paragraph number. Then theme and scripted below that. Life & Ministry doesn't need any additional images. Especially since it includes the images that are not needed, such as the white images that are linked to the School items. Just a thought to improve participation during the meetings... ✓ App FunctionalityThis is the best app ever. Thanks brothers for continuously developing and updating this amazing tool. We are enjoying using it everyday. I like most the feature that enables looking for articles where a scripture [when i’m reading the bible] was previously used in our publications. It helps a lot in bible reading. However, the recent update no longer enable me to scroll down articles or the bible using the scrollbar which was a very handy feature. Other additional requested features: A feature that allows notes to pop up on the same tab as the publication you are currently reading rather than leaving the page you are currently reading or studying. Bookmarks for bible may be better if increased the number; probably giving us an option to save as many verses as we wish. Its very helpful that way. ✓ Thank you but please updateThis is a wonderful app I am thankful for, but please update the tracking and syncing functionality. It would be great to have the app sync when moving between devices like from your iphone to your ipad so you don't have to double download languages and versions. Also, the progress tracking for Live Forever. It would be great to have a check mark system of some kind when viewing from the sections pages if you coupd see which lessons you have completed from there rather than having to go into each lesson and scrolling to the bottom and if it could sync that between devices on the same account. My friend and I were nearly in tears when we first got the long desired PURPLE purple!! We both felt it was an unexpected over the top surprise gift from Jehovah to have purple to highlight with! I used it all the time! So I am a bit sad to see it change in hue to more of a nearly blue grey range. Is it possible to bring it back to the original hue? If not no problem. ✓ Great for Personal Study!The features that this app has are astounding. Not only can you read the Bible, but you can cross reference between various translations! The app is regularly updated with the latest news and publications available. I like that you have the option to stream vs. download all of the music and videos. The ability to take notes and create tags to organize those notes specifically is amazing for personal study! I love being able to quickly highlight what I’m referencing and then to be able to easily find my notes by searching the corresponding tag(s). My only suggestion: I would like to be able to access everything I have saved/noted/etc. across multiple devices. If I’m on my phone, I’d like to access notes I’ve made on my tablet and vice versa. ✓ Unable to AirdropThank you brothers & sisters for your hard work in developing this app. I’m not sure if you have the chance to go through all the feedback but one thing that had been dropped off in the last update is the ability to ‘Airdrop’ between Apple devices. I do a lot of pre-study out and about on my phone and used to be able to ‘Airdrop’ it to my iPad for use at the meetings, and ‘Airdropping’ is the quickest way I found to share between devices. It is in English that you can understand and not feel like you need a dictionary every other word. It puts God’s person name we’re it originally was in the oldest found copies of the Bible. This is amazing since the replacement of his name with titles has completely confused the identities of who God and Jesus Christ really are and hidden a name that God wanted used in worship. ✓ Full Year of WT Not Showing In Research Guide Side BarI love this app. I use it daily and am truly grateful for all the amazing features and constant updates. I am using an iPad, and when I use the research guide, I like to know the year of the WT reference. As an example Job 12:23, when you click the gem symbol, and click research guide, the year of the WT is cut off due to the length of the title. This requires you to download the WT to see what year it is. It doesn’t happen for some other publications, as the titles are much shorter. It also doesn’t happen when the month reference is shorter, like “May”, because it all fits. Would love to always see the year of the WT without having to download it. ✓ Love itThank you for all the hard work brothers. It is a wonderful app. It is so good to have everything in one place. I especially like the new "Notes" feature. I was hoping for so long for this feature and was so excited when it was announced. I couldn't wait to update it. I have had one problem (which I suspect could be my device) but I thought I'd float it in case it's a bug. When in Life and Ministry I've found that if I'm in Spiritual Gems or Treasures from God's Word and I've just looked up a scripture in the source material, when I try to go back using the back key I often get an error message to the effect that there is no study content available and I have to back key again and exit to the main meeting page. I'm finding the error is cumulative requiring me to do a restart of my phone to clear it. I'm reluctant to delete the app and reinstall as I don't want to have to re-download stuff. It may just be my phone is getting old and the firmware is buggy..Version: 9.3

✓ Issue with playing video - only the thumbnail showsHello Brothers, Since the last update there seems to be an issue with some videos only playing the audio with the thumbnail showing - unless you choose to play the video in the small screen which plays audio and visual - this seems to be only in the enjoy life forever book and it’s quite intermittent please try play the video in lesson 5 - does god listen to all prayers then play the next video on Tindal then go back to the listen to all prayers video and play that again it seems to cause the fault or after trying another video we have tried this on 5 different devices and we have the same issue- we are using IOS 15.7.1 and JW library version 13.3 - I wasn’t sure if you’re aware of the issue and I didn’t know how to get hold of you, thanks for all the hard work you do..Version: 13.3

Some children may only have one parent in the truth, and, like me, I am fortunate to be able to have both parents in the truth, but, some children might not. I find so much encouragement in the videos like so many, but some children who only have one parent in the truth, might not feel the same way. Some might feel a little down, wishing that they had both of their parents with them. I’m not implying to change Sofia and Caleb, but make maybe making a different version of them, or new characters, so that children who do not have both parents in the truth can get the full experience! ✓ Awesome, but one thing that I want to suggestI love JW Library, for the meetings, bible reading, studying, and videos. It’s certainly a blessing from Jehovah. One thing that I think you could add, and I think you maybe have in the past on certain devices, but Apple and Samsung don’t have it. So, this is mostly about music videos, but could be used for other things as well: A shuffle button. The original music that you provide is amazing, but it would be nice if we could tap that shuffle button and do everyday things. Like for example, when driving, especially to meetings and service, it would be really nice to just be able to click shuffle and have random songs play for as long as you want. I don’t know if this is done in other places, but here in the middle of Wisconsin, some congregations public witness in Flea Markets, and we usually have an open tent with a table with literature on it. We also play Become Jehovah’s Friend videos on the table to attract people to the carts. A shuffle button would be pretty handy in that situation. Sure, you can just click on a video and then the videos following it will play, but especially with the songs, it’d be nice to have a way to shuffle them. So, just a suggestion, and there are others ways of doing this on different devices; I don’t know if you even look at the reviews, but if you do, there are people out in Wisconsin that might find this useful..Version: 11.3.3
✓ Search helpMy brother your work is amazing and Jehovah blesses you with a wonderful mind. If I may only ask, for us that are deficient in spelling, if possible and it’s not to much to ask, can you please add a spell check and a feature that brings out words in the search engine under topics as we input letter for our search. It is very hard to spell some biblical words to do search on and if you added a feature that brings words up, we could just select that word without having to know how to spell it. Let say, I type in “Je” it would bring up Jehovah, Jesus and Jeroboam, etc., and I could select which one I am doing a search on. ✓ JW Library is a huge blessingMy brothers, I love how the app makes reading the Bible easy for myself and those speaking other tongues, the quick navigation, and the amount of bible based content. Thank you so much for the fine work you’ve put into building this app. I’m always seeing updates so I’d like to request a few features: full support for Screen Mirroring and Chromecast. Currently, when I mirror the app to my Apple TV it displays the ‘JW’ logo but won’t actually mirror what publication I have on my screen -just videos. I’m also not able to locate an AirPlay icon when playing back video on my iPhone (I have to resort to Screen Mirroring for the same effect). I’m really just chasing Screen Mirroring because I sometimes like to share with others what I’m reading on the TV. There’s also times when I’d like to use a Chromecast in another room to play videos but the app doesn’t include an icon to push it through. Of course, these are just some quality of life improvements I thought of so it isn’t mission critical 😅 but I guess in my niche case it’d be nice to have. ✓ In Note TakingTrying to type notes in Library: once you start typing in, it bounces from where you are typing to end of note. Makes serious note taking difficult in that you have to go back up the lines, find where you left off, then jumps again. Underlining or highlighting is difficult because when you start the hilite on the left side of the page, it isn’t steady and you “pull” the part you want to hilite, to Center. ✓ New Issue With Notes.Firstly may I express my gratitude for such a wonderful app. Two separate issues relating, in this instance, to notes in the “Enjoy Life Forever” book. I usually prepare a note by copying each question within a point, into the note for that point. I then type in the answer to each question. 1. While I’m typing an answer for the first question, the cursor suddenly jumps to the very bottom of the note. I don’t always notice immediately as I’m looking at the onscreen keyboard resulting the text being typed in the incorrect location. 2. When attempting to place the cursor between two existing words to type additional text a word on either side of the space is selected or highlighted. I’m unable to just get the cursor to appear between the two words. I first noticed these issues a few weeks ago. I tried shutting down the device and rebooting but without success. I then decided to wait until after the next iOS update, this didn’t rectify the problems. I then updated my device to an iPad 11 Pro Gen 4. However, the issues persist. I’ve just updated to iOS 17 but the issues persist. The issues aren’t duplicated on my iPhone 11 Pro. The issues don’t happen in any other app’s that I type text into..Version: 14.0.2
✓ An Underlining Option to Highlighting SectionDear Bros, like so many, this is a wonderful App.; a real provision from Jehovah, thank you. I’m one of the old fashioned ones, who still likes to use paper copies of publications for meeting preparation (W/T, book study). From August that’s not going to be possible for the W/T as no more printed copies are available until whenever. Hence my request is, could you please add an underline option to the highlighting section. I find the solid highlighting a bit too much sometimes and detracts from the answers. ✓ Great App butThis is an excellent tool for both meetings and ministry. But since the update recently I can no longer share the study I do on my iPad with my iPhone. Before the update after I had done the study, highlighting and making notes on the iPad which is easier than doing it on the iPhone, I then went into the personal study icon to share what I had done with my iPhone. But despite several attempts this is no longer happening. iPad and iPhone are no longer syncing on this app. Very disappointing..Version: 11.3

The developers have worked hard to end up with such a great app, in my last review I was asking about taking notes, now we got it, thanks brother for the hard work. I have no tablet, just an iPhone, I have a study that can’t see unles a very big display. I use hdmi cable with an adapter so he can read the publications on his tv, but I can’t use JW app because all it shows on the screen is the text of the year. So offline I have to use ibook or good reader. Is there a way that we can have an option to see not only videos but also read the Bible and other publications on a tv screen. Me my brothers and sisters are having trouble in sharing 😞 i dont like it and its so hard to stop it. Can you please make a video where celeb and sofia find a really pretty flower and they both want it because its special so they start fighting over it and celeb says “no sofia its mine give it back!!!” sofia said to celeb: “no its mine i found it first!” They’re mom comes and says” whats going on?” Celeb is sad and says “sofia took my pretty flower to give to you!” “No celeb took MY flower to give to you!!” Their dad comes and says “guys, guys, why are you fighting over a flower saying it is both yours? jehovah created all things including this beautiful flower for us to enjoy, not fight over!” celeb and sofia both look at each other and go to talk. when they are done talking they both hold the flower together and smile and hand it up to they’re mom and they say “here mom we both have a flower to give to you!” mom says “aww it is so pretty thank you guys!” dad says “good job kids!” So you could add to that if you want and maybe you could connect a scripture to that for people tp read! ✓ Problems after Playlist introducedI love this app and use it daily. However, since the introduction of the Playlist feature, the app has slowed down. It is difficult to make notes or tags. I have to wait for it to catch up. I can now only make Tags next to an article but not in Personal Notes. It takes a minute or longer to make a Tag next to an article now. It is so slow now that I have had to back up my IPad, restore the back up to my phone, then create the Tag on my phone (since my phone is able to handle it), back up my phone, and then restore back to my iPad. Since I do all my personal study on the IPad, this is now a tedious chore. It takes so much time. I made Playlists but then deleted them hoping that it would free up the notes section again. I have many Tags. Perhaps I need to delete some to make this work again the way that it did? My iPad is 2017, 5th generation. My phone is SE. I am sure the bugs will get worked out, so I am patiently waiting. But I thought I should let you know so you can be aware of the situation. ✓ Backup issueVery much appreciate this exceptional app and the great deal of hard work that goes into creating and maintaining it. Thank you! In recent weeks I’ve had an issue where I cannot share a backup from my iPad (9th gen, iOS 16.2, app version 14.0.2) to my iPhone (SE 2020, iOS 16.2, app version 14.0.2). I am in awe each time a change take place and it exactly something I have thought would be great to have. I am so thankful to finally have JW Library on my Mac as I can now use it for Congregation audio and video assignments. My only suggestion is I hope that you can add a way to sync all versions of my JW Library app on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac through iCloud or a similar service. Many apps which support various Apple devices implemented this successfully so hopefully it’s something you will consider doing. Finally, more of a wish at this point but it would be cool to have the daily text show up on my Apple Watch. ✓ Suggestion/QHi brothers, thank you so much for your effort! It’s app is truely amazing. Quick question/suggestion: After the new colour codes took effect many notes turned grey colour. However, there is no way to switch a current note into grey. Could we add this colour please? So that we can update previous notes to this general colour. ✓ Soon we shall have official library appWhat we have here is a brilliant application designed to give us the new Bible on the move. For this reason this app is worthy of 4 stars. However this is not the last we will see of this app because once the brothers start adding more books and magazines to it we'll finally get the annual WT Library on our iOS devices. I currently use Equipd for this simply because it gives us the books and magazines from the website. I love Equipd but I feel better about an official application so looking forward to the developments in the future. ✓ Love itI can barely think of new suggestions, the app has everything I need and is intuitive to use. And now we also have Notes and backups! The only thing I *can* think of is improvements for syncing between devices. For example, storing the actual app data in a shared location like Dropbox and accessing it from both tablet and phone at the same time. At the moment backup and restore come very close to this. But if I add new notes on both devices, I can’t merge them together again later..Version: 9.3
✓ Maybe a little bug, maybe just meSilver to gold! But as feedback, I’ve had an issue creating a backup, recently got a new iPad and when trying to restore from my back up, the app wouldn’t allow it. I had to go to my drive and then select ‘open in JW Library’. No big deal. But I recently has to reinstall the app on my iPhone and it wouldn’t allow me to create a backup in google drive, I had to use OneDrive. Which is fine, but when it came time to restore, the same issue happened again and I had to open it from OneDrive. It’s not a problem because I figured it out, I just imagine others might be having similar issues. Also, I don’t know if it’s possible, but something that would be so useful for use on a phone is to be able to swipe back to the gems page from reading in the Research Guide. It’s such a touchscreen habit to return to the previous page with a swipe that I forget to use the arrow to return and always end up back in the chapter rather than the gems screen. ✓ New iPad IssueWhat a blessing this app is! Unfortunately there are a few of us that are having trouble with our new iPads when using the app, it’s saying “publications are not available for download”. This is the watchtower and Christian life and ministry workbook. It’s also having troubles syncing the “What’s New”section to also saying “nothing is available”. Thank you for all your hard efforts! However, I thought I would post my question on the new update; the read paragraph is highlighted when it is on audio. ie the specific bible scripture being read on audio is highlight. ✓ Crashing 😕Hello, I am just writing to let you all know that there maybe something wrong with the app and the latest iOS update. Before the most recent updates on both ends the jw app was working pretty smoothly. But as of late I am not sure if a bug crept in. Between yesterday and today the app crashed on me twice. I thought maybe it was my phone but it is brand new. So I just wanted you all to be aware of this Incase others are experiencing the same problem. Thanks so much for all your hard work. Update: thank you for the latest update! This has helped so much. However, there is still a glitch of some sort. When playing the kingdom melodies or original songs after 2-3 songs the app crashes. ✓ App crashingHi all. I’m having trouble since the app updated where it crashes as soon as I open it. It’s an iPad that has been recently updated as well. I tried restarted or rebooting my iPad, no go. Then uninstall the app 😩😭and reinstall but it still didn’t work. Then I tried in settings storage to offload app and reload... but no go. ✓ IPhone X problemsI’m so excited about this update! The trouble I’m having is with iPhone X. The black bar on the bottom of the screen to advance to another app is directly in front of the buttons to select home/Bible/publications etc. Because of this, you can’t select those buttons very easily. ✓ Life and Ministry Workbook and Watcher missing in Meeting tabBefore I begin, I must thank you brothers for all your hard work. It must be so difficult to keep up with the demands in these reviews. But you all are doing such a terrific job. I have an IPad Pro with the latest IOS update. When I select the Meeting tab the workbook icon is missing as well as the watchtower icon is missing. I cannot access the publication info thru the meeting tab. I have the current workbook downloaded thru the library tab. Also, on the home page, I cannot access the daily scriptures even though I have it downloaded. It currently says “Welcome” and underneath it states “download”. ✓ Request for Audio PlaylistI spend 20 hours a week on the road, mostly commuting to work. I would like to spend the majority of this time listening to specific chapters of the Bible, books, articles, or the content for the weekly meetings. However, it is illegal, and dangerous, to touch my phone while driving. I have tried to figure out ways of creating a preset playlist that can be started prior to the start of my drive or via voice command, but without success. I enjoy the magazine podcasts and the Bible reading. But I’m not able to target these to match my specific spiritual needs each day. As a result, after a few chapters or articles, I find myself switching to the radio. Could you look into adding a programable audio playlist feature? And an additional preset playlist for listening to the content of the weekly meetings would be especially awesome. Thank you..Version: 13.1

✓ What a BlessingI love this app as well as all the spiritual food provided on it. There are a few things about the app functionality I wish were included. I would love to have much more bookmark options so I can save as many scriptures as I want. I also wish that I could have an account so that if I need to offload the app or upload it on a new device that all of my hi-lighting, notes, bookmarks, downloaded content, etc. would be saved and available again. Third, I have an iPad and Apple Pencil... I wish so so sooo badly that I could free hand write on my watchtowers and all other study material. I used to write in all the margins of my publications growing up as a kid into an adult, but now that everything is digital that is something I can no longer do. I want to prepare and write down thoughts and scriptures and have it all saved in the same place. It would make keeping up with my study and preparing comments easier for me, I struggle. ✓ A suggestion because it’s sad the feature is gone.The app works great thanks for the hard work I just wish that the little arrow that brings down the imagine on your main screen would of stayed. With one of the recent updates, that arrow left and now when you share an image your main screen has to have the image up and can’t navigate jw library to prepare let’s say the song or to prepare the next image in another article. Maybe there is a reason for this or a new way to bring the image down and have it keep sharing on your second screen, which I would like to know..Version: 13.5
✓ Amazing AppWe love all the publications at our fingertips. We are so spoiled with this app not having to search hard for a certain book or publication. One thing we would love in the new updates is a “Download All” feature. With each update our downloads of all the children songs, Caleb and Sophia Videos, Original Songs and more are gone and need to be downloaded again. There are so many, which is wonderful! But a bit time consuming to selected download and then download size for each individual one. A “Download All” button would be extremely helpful for those who don’t have internet and only have a short period of time to get the videos downloaded to their device again. ✓ A huge blessingWhat an amazing blessing this app has been 🙌 so helpful and easy to navigate. My only suggestion would be to include a undo button for highlighting (if there isn’t already one). I found myself highlighting the wt and the page jumped to the top but I had my finger on the screen at the same time and it managed to highlight every single sentence and overdo what I had already highlighted (completely my fault) in this circumstance it would be great to have an undo button where I could go back to what I had originally done. ✓ New Update BUGGY!!!Hello brother’s! Thank you for your hard work on the app! It’s a blessing from Jehovah. Keep up the fine work! I have noticed since the last update, the app has been extremely buggy on iOS for iPad..I have a 2022 iPad Pro 11”. After the update, whenever I download the latest original song, I am unable to select and other original song to play. I have to unload the newest song to listen to the rest. Also, I am noticing when making notes on highlights, it will often close the window, move to the previous highlighted note and erase what I previously wrote, or not even save what I’ve written all together. These things will happen whether I use Apple Pencil, the onscreen keyboard, or the bluetooth keyboard. I close the app down and restart the app but it doesn’t fix the issue.
