✓ Not sureThis app is a great app with lots of different reciters. However, i think i have been robbed. When this app first came out, i bought a lifetime subscription. However, later on the developers changed the app and offered me subscription without ads for a year. This isn’t a very moralistic way to behave considering the content of the app. Anyway, the year subscription is over and now every time i use it it is with ads. There was no way to give feedback to developers apart from here. Shame on them for this but the app is good, without the ads..Version: 5.0.20
✓ Not impressedHave had this app for over a year now. Ma sha Allah it had been good but since it “updated” it really has “downgraded”. My daily quranic verse is now difficult to find even after the simple one click to open app. And the verse that’s selected is only available in Arabic. ✓ Was betterThe app is great but since they done an upgrade and changed things it’s not the same. If you accidentally closed the app you have to start the Surah all over again, before it used to stop where you left and let you carry on from there. Now every time you close the app even if it was accidentally for less than a minute you have to go through the ads and all that stuff before you can play the Surah, before that was not the case. I hope they change things the way they were, going forward is the way not backward..Version: 5.0.16
✓ Monetizing the QuranToo many ads popping up, even during the recitation of the Quran. The least you can do is pause the Quran after an ayah. It plays the ad at the same time the ayah is being recited. Don’t be so hungry for money and ruin your rewards in the process. Allah is your provider, he will bless you with even more rizq if you depend more on him and less on excessive ads, especially when you have them play over the Quran. Not everything has to be a transaction. Selling our akhirah for the dunya. May Allah guide me and my tongue upon the truth and protect me from hypocrisy, and guide the app owners into upgrading this app and correcting its mistakes, and give us all the highest seat in Jannah with the prophets (PBUT)..Version: 5.0.10
✓ Good app- but mistake found in recitation.I was listening to Faisal Mohammad’s recitation of Surat al-Kahf and I noticed a minor mistake in the recitation of verse 16. This made me avoid listening to any of his other recitations, even though mashAllah, he is a great reciter and I am sure it was an accident. I just think that I downloaded this app trusting that these qaris are in a professional studio with people that are checking everything. The whole point of a hafidh is to preserve the original Quran accurately and if you’re not doing that then you can’t really teach it/put the recitation in an app. If you guys could check the other recitations or only put up ones that have been “approved”- that would be great! ✓ Some improvementsI have purchased the lifetime premium. Many of the verses aren’t synced properly so when I put a verse on repeat there will be a part of another verse in the audio played. I would like to see this fixed inshallah. Also when you turn of audio sync and you want to play a certain verse, the app takes you to the purchase premium screen as if it doesn’t recognise I have premium when I turn audio sync off. ✓ The Ads are Insane!I’m sorry but the ads in this app are WAY out of hand. I’m all for ads in free apps to cover costs and make a profit but this is ridiculous. I went to check how to pay for the app to get rid of the ads and from what I saw it’s a monthly subscription of $6.99 a month which is also crazy. If you’re ok with all the ads then maybe this is the app for you, but definitely don’t use it while you’re driving because the way the apps pop up, they take every brain cell you have and your full attention to figure out when you can move on from the ad and how to get out of the ad and actually listen to Quran. Sorry but there are plenty of other Quran recitation apps out there so I gotta move on from this one because it’s so frustrating..Version: 5.0.15
✓ BuggyIt sometimes loses the saved place and reverts to a Reciter and Surah I selected days ago. This is frustrating and defeats a key function of this app... ie to listen in the background without losing your place. Can you please comment and fix this? I can’t seem to give you this feedback through the app, only through email. UPDATE: Apple won’t give me a refund. UPDATE: tried reinstalling the app. Now it won’t restore my purchase! ✓ Ongoing fees -DON NOT BUY!I bought this App in 2018 for $9.99, however now developers inform us we will have to pay a subscription fee every year - after the ‘free one- year subscription’! ✓ Quran ProI really enjoy the variety of reciters on this app. However, I feel like they could use a few more reciters, such as Ahmad Al Hudhaify and others. The biggest issue for me is the ads. Many of the ads contain haram content, such as advertising for loans and other such content. Do you really think that money earned from advertising of impermissible services is halal money? If so you really need to re-evaluate yourself and your Islamic views. And if the iQuran and Haramain apps can survive without advertising while providing a basic Islamic service, I really don’t see why you can’t do the same. Insha Allah I will delete this app when I find another (Insha Allah I will download the app Quranic Audio, (aka the Quran app) which also has a website by the same name).Version: 5.0.6
✓ Great app but..It’s a great app where you can easily listen to Surah’s and Quran in the morning whilst commuting. I had been doing this for a decade however, as much as I understand (being in the IT field) that the money is required to keep the app going, I don’t think a monthly subscription and making people to sign up to give more personal data was the answer. I work in IT so the last thing I want is to sign up to give more data (yes you won’t sell it but there are some people like me who wouldn’t want to give personal data). Secondly, increasing the premium price slightly would be suffice or leave the existing ones as it is but having to put up a monthly/yearly is just something off putting. The app shows that it is migrating app data from old to new when you open it for the first time. However my playlist isn’t there because only way I can create is if I create an account. So there goes my morning listening to Quran from this app. I happily pay for premium upgrades but it’s a digital world and despite £50 is nothing, there are apps which you can use to do the same so there is that. I rather pay that to a muslim charity than for a app. Also, new look is great with all the icons and logo..Version: 5.0
✓ Used to be amazing, now ruinedI previously purchased the app to use it ad free, then they updated the app to subscriptions, which nullified my purchase and now they want more money to keep it ad free. No refund was provided and the app I paid for to be ad free is no longer available. Refusing to pay such an extortionate amount for ad free as no trust the developers will not nullify my purchase once again after taking the money. ✓ Was great until recent updateThis was a great app that I used daily, had a playlist which my daughter listened to every night without fail; however after the recent upgrade, the app has been difficult, firstly needed to sign in to create a playlist? Secondly the playlist doesn’t jump from one Surah to another, just finishes after 1, and on the lock screen, it doesn’t show correctly, for example I was listening to Surah yasin, however it shows it is playing Surah baqarah (which I did a few hours ago) but the time thing is at zero but is still playing? Also not liking the new look, prefer dark mode but needs to be unlocked to change it :-/.Version: 5.0.1

I have purchased the Quran Pro app, however there is an option for Premium Upgrade, which leads me to believe that I havent upgraded it. Each time I go into that section to see if I have the upgraded version, it triggers a new purchase. So effectively I have paid for it multiple times. You can keep the money, no problems. ON A QURAN APP??There’s always ads that contain music which is very annoying and ironic considering it is a quran app but usually i look past it until today when I opened it and I saw an advertisement for a very inappropriate game where one of the characters literally said “Tonight is the night I sell my virginity to a stranger” like??? omg??? on a quran app? whoever is allowing these advertisements is collecting sins from this subhan Allah. I literally clicked out of it soon as the little 5 seconds yoo have to wait for the ad to go away was up. who knows what other things was said in the ad past those first 5 seconds. ✓ Great App, bugs are ridiculously widespread.I literally use this app every day, and jazakum allah kheir. Furthermore; imagine pressing play while wanting to listening to Quran, you concurrently are forced to listen to a Mobile Strike VIDEO advertisement (which I don't understand why you have agreed to take money for the video when the picture ad would suffice) and there's absolutely no way to stop it because it doesn't show, it just plays on its own accord. Also, without any exaggeration, you have to press the sleep button on the bottom left corner 15-20 times before you get lucky enough and actually elicit a response from it. This app is great, the amount of readers is amazing. Why have you not fixed any of these bugs, and I haven't even mentioned all of them (and which I look for an update on the app store often) to make it run smoothly and not annoy the people who are trying to give you ajr and get ajr for themselves as well..Version: 4.11
✓ Awesome! , Until they reuined it…I love this app, it was one of the best apps that i used for quran reading and listening, variety of sheikhs voices and hadiths and etc. Before they updated I already paid for unlimited adverts removal for life time. Then they updated it and said you will only have 1 year and after 1 year you have to pay the new surcharge for lifetime of free adverts on the app. But when i paid the first time this is what i paid for. Update and all of a sudden have to pay again. For that reason alone i gave it 1 star and they just ripping their loyal users of the app. So, no more quran app for me..Version: 5.0.14

Giving me one year of subscription is not on the same level as the terms have changed. The updates you’ve made were expected when I purchased the app. My understanding is that you would provide support for as long as possible. The app that I purchased has suddenly now changed to subscription. Its like me selling you an iPhone for the full price, and then a few years later telling that its subscription based! ✓ Dishonourable DevelopersDisappointing, I purchased the lifetime premium of this app when it was first released. Then they updated the app, added a subscription model and a new lifetime premium tier at £65. Completely nullifying my original lifetime premium purchase. I’m happy to support app developers and purchase apps or even subscribe the price isn’t the issue. But when this type of dishonourable sales practice is used I stay far away. There’s nothing stopping them in two years time coming up with another payment model and lifetime option which’ll nullify any current purchase. ✓ Great app but unethical moveI purchased the pro version of this app years ago and was happy to support an app that I found useful. I purchased the pro version for what I assumed was a 1 time fee which it was the only option at the time. They changed it to a subscription model and changed my membership to a 1 year subscription. If they only offer subscriptions I would understand but now offer a more expensive lifetime membership. I would have been fine with purchasing it at the new price but I can’t assume that they won’t just change me to a subscription again in the future and it’s honestly just sad that they want to take advantage of people that supported the app from its earlier days..Version: 5.0.8

✓ More good than badAlhamdulliah I love the app I have every Suah by many reciters at my fingertips. The only problem I have is the inappropriate adds. I understand adds are a way to make money and that if you pay for Pro you will not have any adds. But my problem is the type of adds inappropriate, exposed women. This is haram for the Muslim so see. I love the app but I deleted it because of the adds. However, I reinstalled it because I couldn’t find a Quran app like it. Inshallah if I find one I will delete it again because of the adds. ✓ Uninstalled - annoying and filthy adsI understand that you are offering paid option to remove the ads but that doesn’t mean that using the app for free should be as annoying as it is. And not to forget the content ads that keep popping up. And not on my phone only. I have checked and confirmed with multiple people. I know it’s possible to control the content of the ads so not sure why you are not handling it properly. If you don’t wish for users to use the app for free and want to force them to purchase it, you can offer a free trial or something similar. ✓ A few problemsAsallamualaikum. I previously loved the interface for this app, but am finding as of recently, I've been struggling to get rid of the ads as a blind person. It's also become slightly difficult to navigate using voice over on an iphone. The appalling thing is tthere's always an advert for when i open the app, and then another one for when i click on a reciter's name. Amd i don't see why i understand that the app is free, but i shouldn't have to pay for an ad free experience as a solution if a person who can see doesn't have to. ✓ FraudstersI paid premium price for this app when I heard about it. A curated list of qaris was worth paying money for, but then these curators got greedy and now want either a monthly fee, or 5 times more money for the same content. I asked them to return my money because I’m not interested in a monthly subscription for something that I would use occasionally. Yes a one time fee that I had already paid was okay but changing the terms forcefully when I don’t agree to them is called cheating. For someone peddling Islamic content this is highly un Islamic behavior. I know these devs think that they don’t have to return my money, and they may be right in their minds, but if they are true Muslims, be ready when day of judgement I will hold you accountable for this cheating! ✓ About the latest update April 15So I have been using app for years now and it is the simplest yet feature filled app. BUT upon receiving the latest update notification I noticed it has changed. And it now has subscriptions. Yearly and monthly. Before I go further I must say it is a really good app but making it a paid app has got me thinking about other options. I know this requires a lot of effort and costs money to develop an app but I’m not sure if this paid subscriptions fits this app. Making money off of Quran? I mean that’s completely haraam. Now I won’t be updating to the latest version. I don’t want this update to ruin a good app for me. The current version has it all I’m good with it. ✓ Major issueGreat app but one mistake from the developers makes using the app so frustrating! I guess everyone who uses the app knows this already. But just to make sure you know what I’m talking about... When you want to go through pages you can do it either by flipping right or left, or by scrolling through the page scroll bar at the bottom. So far so good. The issue is that once you play any surah it will generate a play bar that covers the fast scrolling bar that I mentioned before. Summary: if you play any audio, you will only be able to flip the pages of Quran one page per swipe. Besides that, great app..Version: 4.31
✓ Typical.These guys are also the makers of the prayer times app, for those of you who have had the apps since they were first released, you’ll remember how it was okay price wise to upgrade to what they then called “premium”. They then released an upgrade for the athan app that made it way above any price, but on top you had to pay more no matter if you had premium (I’d like to note that app also just went really wrong with timings so I changed it) Well I should’ve known they’d do the same with this, but my phone auto updates so I missed it, but I knew as soon as I saw the app logo change that they had done the same. I had premium on this app too, then I look to see that the most I’ll get is “1 year free”, then even more atrociously I see that a full subscription for life is 50 pounds. I’d pay that to support the developers except for one thing, in two years theres nothing to stop them saying super premium is 100 pounds for life in an update. With all due respect, the reciters don’t charge for their voices and the coding for app isn’t worth 50 for life. It also doesn’t cost that to buy a Quran from a book shop, just think about that. ✓ Need some more fixes on appThis app was great and I would always use it to listen to suras and repeat after the reciters if I’m not able to read it, and what was nice about it is that even when I stopped the reciter from reading, when I would open up my app later again, it would continue exactly where I had last stopped. Now with this new update it just messed up my readings like I don’t know which part I last reached so I would lose track of my reading. Please fix this issue again so I could continue using and inshaallah I hope Allah grants you all the good deeds for every letter I read from the Quran..Version: 5.0.2

✓ Free version not worth the space in my deviceI paid for the premium version a few years ago. That was supposed to be a “lifetime”. Now they updated the app and asking for more money. They gave me a year’s “grace period” which ended now. Free version has too many long adverts which have music in them. Not halal. I have now deleted this app from my device. ✓ Unethical move by developers!!!Bought this app years ago when it was a startup, paid one time fee to remove ads etc and at the time was a lifetime purchase with NO mention of future monthly or annual renewal, the principals of this company or developer is not islamic values, nothing has changed in fact many of the recitals provided are available online for free and in some cases better audio quality, I attempted to reach out to the devolper through support with no success other than acknowledgment of my email, with no response back regarding my legitimate concerns clearly shows they don’t care, poor customer service and UnIslamic in nature!.Version: 5.0.13

✓ This was the best app...I can understand the need to upgrade apps and features that is as given. What I don’t understand is why the most important feature for me has disappeared. When you clicked on a reciter the Quran text would scroll up with English translation underneath. Now that has gone, I download the suggested translations but they don’t appear. Secondly and less important you went from black to white background. The white is too stark and glare really hurts my eyes, and has made it difficult to look at the screen. ✓ DISAPPOINTED!!!I dont know who’s idea it was, but it the worst idea ever of having adds popping up after you click each button, to remove the adds, you have to go premium… Let’s not forget that there are many people that wouldn’t be able to pay and just want to listen to Quran or Read it.. ✓ Decent app but way too many adsThe app itself is fairly good, has a lot of Quran reciters and you can download and listen to recitation offline but SubhanAllah the amount of ads is terrible. I tried to create an edit a playlist and I was shown ads almost every 10 seconds it felt like and some ads are unskippable so you have to watch the whole thing. ✓ Big flaws in designSeveral basic features are not only missing but distinction in the app. -The bookmarks don’t work. If you book mark multiple pages the app will show them but whatever page you press on, the app will only take you to the last page marked. What’s the point of bookmarking then? -The audio part is nice and the app has many reciters. However, the app only allows to listen to any sourah from the beginning. There is no ability to forward to any specific ayah which is a very big flaw for me. Sometimes I want to listen to Quran in the car where I left off reading the night before but I cannot. The Sourahs always start from the beginning. - Last but not least, if one is listening to a reciter and chose the auto scroll, the ayah’s will scroll according to the reciting. However, if one touches the screen and scrolled up or down the app doesn’t catch up with the reciter afterwards. One would have to manually scroll to sync with the reciter. ✓ Ads ads adsGood app, good selection of reciters. App is buggy, it force closes randomly, which means the 3 ads I watch to listen to a reciter sometimes becomes 6 or 9. Reduce the ads, and have better quality of ads, It seems counter intuitive to be played an ad that promotes Adultry and music whilst I’m trying to listen to the Quran. I have also found that the ads don’t cross off when prompted, they jump to the App Store, so if i am driving and want to listen to a qari, it becomes very dangerous.Version: 5.0.21
