Great APP for club runnersThis a great APP, really useful when used in conjunction with my clubs running sessions. Really useful to know the times for both speed and endurance sessions. Also useful to know predicted race times for all distances based on current race times. A must for all serious runners..Version: 1.7

Must have appAs a coach for adult athletes as well as high school and middle school kids having a portable app that allows you to calculate workout times on the fly is extremely valuable. I use the McMillan Pace Calculator for most of my workout time goals, yet sometimes I need to have them "adjusted" when the athelet(s) aren't "feeling it" that day. I also use the mobile app for my own training. Extremely helpful and a great tool for a weekend warrior looking ot get better, a serious athlete who wants specific workout paces daily, or a coach who coaches different levels of abilities. Great pacing estimatesIf you're a fan of the McMillan running calculator you'll love this app. Very easy to pull up on your iPhone to figure out how fast you should be running in a race or a specific workout. The pacing has always been spot on and especially useful when racing atypical distances as in just this past weekend when I did a 10 mile race and didn't know the proper pace... I just put in my half marathon time from last month and it offered up a pace that ended up being perfect..Version: 1.7

Great app! Good value!Great support! I too had trouble loading this app after I purchased. For all of you negative reviewers out there, did you try contacting support? I got a response back from Peter the same day. Fix for me was simple and I had already resolved myself by the time I got his email, but I was impressed that I got a response at all! A little common sense goes a long way people. Delete the app and re-install. Works just fine. So what if it didn't work the first time. I didn't lose anything but a couple minutes of my time. Seems like a glitch they're actively working to resolve..Version: 1.8

Great supplement to the websiteI love McMillan running and have followed his six-step training system for years. I've been a runner my whole life (I'm 33) and read tons of Runner's World articles and running advice, and his is the most comprehensive and scientific program that works for any level of runner. To get the most out of this app, read the free article on the website under training advice - it's the whole reason I use it. Being able to control your pace and training at different paces is the single most important skill a runner can have!.Version: 1.9

Well worth a tryVery useful app, been using this and the previous version for months now and use it for training paces and race targets. Useful addition would by speed km & mi conversions from training paces for treadmill sessions but I recommend this to all of my running friends. Race predictor more accurate than some other sites too..Version: 1.7

Scratch that last comment...OK, so my stupidity of putting time in hour slot instead of minute field. Ugh. Thanks to prompt follow up by the developer - Peter - got me straight. Working fine now. Overall well done and simple interface (OK, once you know hours from minutes…). Paces that are calculated are within ranges of other apps and online calculators. Ranges are too wide at the slow run end. Almost 1:30 spread for an easy run as well as recovery run. I have a long background in coaching, competing and in the science of running so though this is a good tool, it's only as good as some others. But, good guide especially for someone who is self-coached and wants a better idea of better workout pacing. This would be very well worth picking up. Sorry about that first post!.Version: 1.4

Pace setting de cluttered!After having lots of doubts about my training, I can merely open this app that accompanies the informational book, "You, Only Faster", and my training structure makes a ton more sense! I've found out I'm a combo-speedster and I am grateful for McMillan for my improvement from 97 minutes to 90 minutes for the half marathon distance. Thanks Greg!.Version: 1.8

Great Training ToolThis is a great app. I've used it for ~2 yrs and by entering your projected race pace you get proper workout paces. Everything from long runs to easy runs to 400m repeats. I've found that the paces are consistent with other apps, online calculators and programs/magazines...but in one easy location. I recommend this app to anybody training for a half marathon or marathon who wants to incorporate proper speed workouts and appropriate intensity to their runs. It may be silly but I also like the motivational quotes you get when you turn the app sideways..Version: 1.7
