Peloton: Fitness & Workouts for Positive User Reviews

Love my Peloton!I absolutely love my Peloton and the convenience that it is! I used to drive 20 minutes to get to the nearest gym about 4 times a week for classes. That commute took time away from my family and myself, plus it added to my gas bill. Now, from the convenience of my own home I can hop on my bike and then tune in to quick, focused workouts (like 10 min core, or 10 min arms) or even yoga to finish. I have encouraged two coworkers to buy the Peloton already and they absolutely love it. I am also no longer worried about having the latest athletic wear, as no one cares what I am wearing at home. The bike is more expensive than my gym membership for now, but with no interest and fees, the moment I pay off the Peloton itself and move into a simple subscription fee, I am actually saving money. Wouldn’t change my decision and would recommend the bike to anyone! My only wish is that Peloton would add full body floor workouts on the app. Peloton has tread classes with full body workouts, but I have yet to see this for the cycle bike and hope it comes soon. Happy shopping!.Version: 9.1.0

New meThis app was a complete life saviour during lockdown. Whereas before I was dreading a work out Peloton made it a pleasure to “show up” and I started looking forward to my time on the bike. The other content is big bonus with special interest in those lovely 10 mins core. I started to WFH in my leggings so I could jump on that mat in between meetings. Once lockdown is over I will Continue with Peloton, perminately locked in my healthy habits. ❤️💪🏻.Version: 12.6.0

Glitched when finishing workoutLove the classes. Good instructors. My problem is that when finishing a workout, it’s stuck at the rate the class screen. No matter how random my grade is, it won’t leave that screen. I have the iOS app, Apple Watch S3, and I airplay it..Version: 14.7.0

Lacking functionalityI have no major complaints about the peloton as a bike and I’m loving using it. The one thing I would LOVE to see are sub-genres of music! I love Latin music but cannot enjoy a single Latin ride as it’s mostly reggeaton, as if Cumbia or salsa don’t exist? It’s too vague to offer “EDM” playlists, which could include anything from happy hardcore to trance. How great would it be if we could see a “grunge” playlist instead of a “rock” playlist that includes all sub-genres like punk and pop rock? Same with hip hop, why lump in artists that are incredibly different like Nelly and Mobb Deep in the same genre? One is clearly more pop and the other is boom bap rap. I know I’ve seen the community complain about Trap playlists, expecting southern hip hop music while ending up with only EDM more similar to dubstep. Please, music lovers have specific needs when working out!!.Version: 14.3.1

IncredibleI’ll be honest. I’ve always been a bit of a skeptic when it comes to fitness apps. I took a chance of this one as I noticed a 2 weeks free trial. As I work shifts it’s very unlikely that I will make my classes at the gym. I only started using this app for the spin classes which are amazing. They are so fun and man, you can feel the burn. Since using this app I have started using the running classes and I have found a new found love for running. The instructors are so motivating and really encourage you to push yourself. The best Personal Trainer money can buy!.Version: 10.2.0

Love it... butI absolutely love these workouts and the coaches. I’m working out a lot more than before thanks to the app. There’s only a couple things I’d like for the company to fix. 1, song selections can be pretty bad sometimes and I like most songs. There should be a way to down like a song, that way the company can get stats on what everyone is thinking. 2nd, there are really few hip hop running playlists with a girl instructor for 30 mins or higher. I think a lot of people would be interested in running for 30 min - 1hr at a jogging pace not training for a marathon, but there aren’t many options out there on the app for this. Can you please include more hip hop playlists for running?? 3. Lastly, I mainly use the outdoor running category, can you please build more here?? I like the Pilates so far and I hope that Peloton brings more of this! I’m waiting on my bike, it’s delayed by a month :( but, hopefully it will be as good as people say it is. For now I’m trying to keep up with running outside in the snow!.Version: 14.8.0

Could be awesome with a few tweaksWhile it’s mostly great there are a few key things that could make it so much better: 1. Let users PAUSE pre-recorded rides! I understand you can’t pause a live ride but when you are doing a recorded ride and you need to use the restroom or hell you experience a phenomenon I experience quite a bit which is my foot falling asleep and I need to walk it off it would be great to be able to pause your ride. 2. Glitchy classes- some recorded classes are super glitchy and you won’t find out sometimes until partway through that particular class when all of a sudden you see the circle on your screen and it never reloads. You end up having to exit and your only options are to start again or delete the ride. 3. FAST FORWARD- Sometimes users want to take more than one class one right after the other. I would rather be able to skip or fast forward through the warmup of the second class and just just right in. As of now there is no such feature..Version: 12.4.1

Inspirational and AddictiveWhether you have the Bike or the Tread, or not, the Peloton app gives you a virtually unlimited library of classes for all levels. Even when you don’t feel like showing up, the instructors make you feel like a champion and provide the motivation you need to do your best and finish strong. I would give the app 6 stars if I could..Version: 14.4.4

Great Classes, App could be betterSo far I think the classes have been great! I am only giving 4 stars because I think the app could be improved by adding a search function so we can find classes more easily..Version: 14.8.0

Game changerPeloton has changed my.life.Version: 15.45.1

Vast improvement from original appBelow is my rating from when the app first appeared a few years ago. It wasn’t good. It’s now amazing. I use Chromecast to take it with me on the road and in my condo’s gym. Great, great workouts. Old review: I guess the utility of the app depends upon your goals. If your goal is heart rate training (HRT), or some sort of high intensity fitness training, there are better videos on You Tube. If your goal is to pass the time with a certain type of music, and get "life coaching" from a yoga teacher, then this app will work for you. I found Steve Little to be the best, most serious instructor. I found Nicole Meline to be one I wanted to mute as she offered empty platitudes like "make yourself essential", "paint a new masterpiece today", "you don't have to accept that inheritance". Huh? I'm looking to work hard and get my heart rate up to 90-93% That isn't a goal of this program. Apparently, helping the depressed is. What they need to do to cater to serious fitness folks: get some graphics on the screen: heart rate as a percent of maximum; cadence; resistance,; effort level; segment time; total time. Instead, you're gonna get "favorite playlists". That's fine for the Lululemon yoga pants in the grocery store "athlete", but how about something for the serious folks? They clearly have the technology. For me, it's back to You Tube videos. I'll check back in six months. Maybe they'll come around..Version: 12.5.2

Faultless guided workouts for all abilitiesA seemless experience for any user with any goal. Every instructor is professional, clear and delivers fantastic coaching points that are both intrinsic and extrinsic. Motivation is provided through great music and refreshingly different exercises as well as traditional ones. For those that like data you are able to track and view your progress. For those that like community, there is one there to stay in touch and motivated with. It has something for everyone. Love it!.Version: 14.0.1

Great but..The latest update that introduced chrome cast support seems to have introduced a bug. After I do a session and cast to an Apple TV from my phone I can’t dismiss the rating view by clicking the view workout button. I can say how hard I found the class and whether I rated it or not but then clicking view workout does nothing and I have to force close the app. With the new chrome cast feature is it possible to set a default via a preference? I don’t have a chrome cast and now have an extra screen to go through. The preference setting could be: Apple TV, Chromecast, All (where all would show the selection screen). And any news on having the Apple Watch work for outside running independent of the phone (a person can wish right :) )?.Version: 12.5.0

Love my pelotonBest birthday present ever! Love the variety of classes. The instructors are so motivational. My husband enjoys the scenic rides. I spend most of the time on the bike in classes, but also do some yoga and the meditation sessions are great. The app just keeps getting better with new features. Like the new schedule feature. Would be even better if you could add an outlook calendar item to it so I can block off the time in my calendar automatically. Would also love to see if you could incorporate a VO2 max test - I love the FTP test and powerzone programmes but am struggling to get an idea of my VO2 Max..Version: 14.10.1

I love the appI want to say that I’ve been a member of the Peloton community since July 2020 when I purchased my bike. I absolutely love it! I was one of the unfortunate consumers that recently had my tread + order cancelled this past week. So I decided to try and use the digital app and do some tread workouts at my friends gym. I did notice some connection issues when I went from a warm up class to the actual workout. I had to shut my Apple Watch off and restart it in order for my HR to register. I am also wondering why the watch app doesn’t register elevation when it’s a feature built into every newer version on the Apple Watch. I totally get that app users can’t get all the bells and whistles but you can definitely give a little more especially since the app when linked can read our HR and our distance why not give us our output, and elevation. I agree leave the leaderboard features to those that purchase the actual product. But metrics for so many of us is how we gauge our progress. Just a thought..Version: 15.4.1

So much better that trying to do it on your ownI used to just plug into music in the gym but that became stale (and COVID stopped that). I picked up an indoor bike for free & thought I’d give this a go for the 30 day free trial). What a huge difference the ride along classes make. I started at the beginning, 5 classes done after a week and I’m going to buy a better bike (you don’t get much for free) today and accept the £13/month fee. I can’t justify a Peleton bike yet 💰but I will see. Going to give the yoga and walking classes ago also. They may not be ‘live’ but they’re engaging and time flys by. Obviously I can’t follow the setting they call out exactly but I try my hardest and after all at least I’m doing it..Version: 14.10.0

Multiple choiceGreat selection of classes for every mood.Version: 15.25.0

Great classes … issues to resolve with runningFirst of all, absolutely love the peloton classes almost across the board, I have the bike and guide and it’s well worth the investment in my opinion, I’m fitter and healthier than I’ve ever been. I don’t yet have the tread ( live in flat and way too noisy) and use a gym for the treadmills. The app doesn’t track distance right which is incredibly frustrating, especially as it is coming up with the pace which is almost identical to reading on treadmill, but the distance remains at zero for the first 4-5 mins and then starts reading. For someone who uses the metrics / badges as motivation / tracking this is incredibly annoying ! Love the product overall though.Version: 15.29.0

What was expected and more!Try it, you don’t run out of motivation!.Version: 9.3.0

Simply fantasticI have to say without our Peloton bike and app over the past 3 months, my wife and I would have gone stir crazy. An absolute life saver! We now have no need for a gym membership! Thank you so much:).Version: 14.2.0

Fantastic app! What I would like to see next...?I’ve been using this app for a while and I like it a lot. You can find similar apps out there but I think Peleton is giving the best value for money. I enjoy class on my phone (I can airplay on tv) with the Apple Watch connected. I did not give 5 stars only because I would like to see some improvements on the Apple Watch app. At the moment what I’m missing the most of the possibility to have an outdoor workout without having to bring my iPhone with me. I used to run/walk using just my Apple Watch only (that’s why I chose the LTE model) but now if I want to have an outdoor workout I have to carry my iPhone too. Hopefully this will change soon as many competitors offer full workout just on watch.Version: 12.6.0

So far so good only one thing I’d changeReally enjoying the app so far on my free trial I will pay the subscription when the trial runs out definitely! The only thing I would add to the app is a calendar for workouts so I could organise my week into what workouts I want to do and have notifications so it would motivate me more. Also being in England makes it slightly more awkward to catch some of the live classes but still plenty of choice !.Version: 14.8.0

SmugglerBrought my bike to Toronto in 2016 ❤️ Just started Using the app with a Cybex treadmill. So great. Wasted years not using the app ! Thanks Peloton.Version: 14.8.0

LOVE ItI have used the app at home and also on spin bikes at the gym for a make-your-own spin class. The workouts are great. This is a game changer..Version: 12.4.0

Overall a good exercise appI’ve been using Peloton for around 6 months now and have been doing some form of exercise from the app almost daily. I like the instructors, the variety of workouts available and the programs are good for a more structured routine too. My biggest gripe is that you cannot pre-load a program until you clear the workout before. I understand not being able to watch it, but all I want to do is preload my workouts for that program for the day (usually the warmup, main workout and cool-down) but I cannot do that without first completing the warmup. I don’t have much data nor good signal where my weights are, so this is very annoying. Another minor complaint is the pause button is very fiddly to actually press. Sometimes I need to change weight plates from my dumbbells for the next exercise, or the dog runs in and I need to get her out of the way…the amount of times I’ve fought trying to press pause only for the information on the screen to appear and hide multiple times is becoming more frustrating each day. Overall though, I am enjoying using the app despite the criticism above..Version: 15.28.0

Life in my 50’sMy Peloton Treadmill has given my life back. I was an instructor and in great shape until COVID happened. My little gym that gave me inspiration closed. I stopped working out, started eating bad, drinking more than I should. I had all the tools in the tool box but couldn’t use them until Peloton. I’ve being doing a combination of classes for 9 weeks straight. I do at least 3 every single day. With a combination of lifting, walking, stretching, AND meditation I’m becoming a new person…. Actually better than the instructor that was in good shape with all the tools. I never stretched or used meditation before and they are game changers. The beauty of the Peloton concept is the convenience. If I was a gym member I simply wouldn’t have time to lift, stretch, meditate, and walk at one time. I don’t need to pay for a gym membership plus multiple apps to get all the classes I want. Peloton has all the things I need with incredible instructors. I thought I was lost but Peloton found me..Version: 15.38.0

So much variety for everyoneSo much variety that one can never get bored..Version: 14.7.1

Glitchy with Apple WatchGood app but glitchy when trying to use with Apple Watch. The biggest issue is when running on a treadmill, distance doesn’t always record, and when it is 10 or so minutes after commencing a workout..Version: 15.28.0

95% great, 5% frustratingly unreliableI’m an app only user. Classes are great and working out is more fun than ever! The variety of classes, quality of instruction, plethora of class options, and, yes, the badges have kept me a reliable user for months - and I used to *hate* trying to get up in the morning to exercise! I particularly love the new barre classes and hope for more soon? My only/major complaint, and reason for one star off, is that live classes have gotten very unreliable with lots of skipping. This makes it really hard to track intervals, which is the core of so many of the cycling classes - you’ll be starting a 20 second speed interval and then 4 seconds later the instructor’s suddenly back to a steady pace... and just when you’ve figured out whether you skipped forward or backward, they’re on to something different and you missed it entirely. (or worse, you’re almost done with the interval and suddenly it skips back to beginning and doubles the length of the push!) Super frustrating, and considering all of my other streaming services work perfectly fine, they’re clearly skimping on something on the technology side..Version: 14.5.0

Perfect exercise appAbsolutely love this. Passionate exercise..Version: 15.35.0

Breathe new life into your workouts !Wow! I am enamored with this app. The classes are quick, Engaging and have immediate results. I’ve never been a big gym rat and prefer to be outside during all seasons. I have been running fun runs with peloton and I’m excited every day to get out and meet a new instructor and even hear different music. Every class I have taken the instructors are precise in body positioning which prevents injuries and also makes what you are trying to do easier and of course Beneficial. It is so easy to come out of form and then often the exercise you are working so hard to do is loosing its power ! So far I have found wonderfully inspiring teachers who you know are one hundred percent genuine and legit in their own personal lives. I have been into fitness for many years but this is different than anything I’ve done , it is encouraging, tough but gentle and spot on accurate when targeting areas of the body to tone and strengthen. I’m so excited to be part of the peloton family. My abs have never looked and FELT so good ! Being able to be anywhere and do a ten minute or hour long class leave you with no excuses ! Shine on peloton.... I know with your help I sure will ✨💪🏻!.Version: 11.4.0

Changed my lifeI’ve lost almost 15 pounds over the summer and feel like a completely different person!.Version: 14.4.4

Great exercise app.Peloton can be a life-changing experience. During COVID-19, it’s so nice to be able to workout at home. I’m also so excited that they finally added a not taken by me filter. So useful. You have so many instructors which fit different fitness goals and personalities. I personally enjoy Matt Wilpers and Ross Rayburn, but there seems to be an instructor for everyone. I have a few problems/suggestions. One is my Fitbit. I connected my Inspire HR to my bike because I wanted it to count the minutes and steps. But it doesn’t work. For example, I’ll do a twenty minute ride and my Fitbit says 0 minutes. I press the share button after each ride, but that doesn’t help. I don’t know if this is a glitch or not, but can you please fix it? Another thing is German subtitles. I don’t speak German or anything, but I think it would be a good addition. I love this app so much and 100% encourage you to get this app, or the bike or Tread, but I hope you take my suggestion into account..Version: 14.7.1

Best Fitness App EverI’ve done many workouts and used many apps over the years but for use-ability this app covers every part of fitness. The sessions themselves are amazing and the instructors push you. Being able to map your workouts and following programmes are my favourite part of the app. I’ve recommended to everyone I know. The next thing on my list is to get the bike! Thanks peloton!.Version: 12.6.0

Can’t fault it !Love this app.Version: 15.11.0

ADDICTINGWhat more can I say!!.Version: 14.7.1

Amazing AppOver quarantine my family and I started the 30 day free trial with Peloton. We do not own a Peloton bike but this app is still incredible. The interface is beautifully designed and incredibly easy to navigate. Personal achievements give you something to work towards and it is really easy to find what you want to do. You can filter out which coach you want, the part of your body you want to workout, the length of the workout and even the type of music you want (which is incredibly wide ranging- everyone will find something they enjoy). Overall, an incredible app that is wonderful to use. I could not recommend it highly enough..Version: 14.2.1

Great app!I really love this app, there are billions of options so you never get bored and I really enjoy the different instructors and the way they encourage you to work hard, I haven’t had a workout app with that before. I also like being able to stack your workouts (although I haven’t worked out how to go directly to the next workout in the stack without viewing the previous workout stats which would be helpful). The only thing I wish this app had rn is a way to categorize the workouts you have bookmarked as after a while the list can get quite long and there doesn’t seem to be a way to manage them by kind or even search/filter by run or strength etc. Would love to see that feature added!.Version: 15.20.0

One of my favorite appsI don’t have a peloton bike, but I am using my Apple Watch and cadence sensor on my bike and this app is amazing. I like using it for cycling, but I love the strength training too and the Pilates. There are so many options it is helping to keep me interested. Also, I’m not perfect and I took a break for a while, but I knew I should come back. I knew because I remembered all the great options and I told myself I would just do a brief strength training and that got me back on track. Obviously you have to show up and put in the work, but with so many options you actually have to be making an incredible amount of excuses to not do at least one of the activities on this app a couple of times a week. The instructors are so encouraging it is so helpful to remain engaged. The music is so much fun and you can see all the tracks. HIIT options are so much fun and you can really feel it even if it is only 10 minutes. Totally worth it!.Version: 14.9.1

Good - but could do with some more featuresGenerally really good. Few minor tweaks to make experience easier would make it great. Lovely to have the different views on the instructor but starting as a complete beginner, I find the instructions very quick sometimes. Also they sometimes refer to other videos - have now realised that under classes and then programmes, you can find these longer set ups. There is also a yoga basics filter which took me a while to work out. Would be handy to have links at the end of workouts to direct you. When filtering would be nice to pick multiple options on instructors etc. And sometimes they don’t have filters on certain styles that they do for others..Version: 12.6.0

Review re musicI’d prefer if songs did not use the N-word. Other explicit language is fine, just not racially explicit language..Version: 14.1.0

Bye bye gymHate all that you need to do to hit a gym? Pack workout clothes, drive/park, deal w/ people, overcrowded classes at difficult times? I got the bike because of hip problems but did not realize the value of what you get w/ a subscription. The # of classes & the quality of instructors is insane. After today’s ride I did a separate 10 min stretch class using a chair. The instructor did a couple stretches my PT suggested! It really is like getting your own certified trainer on call whenever you decide to work out. I even used the app for two weeks while waiting for the bike to arrive. You honestly get addicted to “taking classes”. Plus if you’re a numbers junkie it tracks so much data & keeps track of everything you do. It’s incredibly motivating. Link up with friends to ride or workout together. If you take the live classes instructors give shoutouts. Just get the app and get going! Even if you don’t have the Peloton bike..Version: 11.4.0

More functionality needed on AppI’ve been using my Peloton and the app religiously since I bought my Peloton in early March. I am absolutely obsessed with my Peloton and look forward to my rides every day. I have a couple suggestions for the app and experience. First, I like to plan out my next ride on the app when I’m commuting or in between meetings. (I always do on demand rides because of my work schedule). I really really need to see the playlist on the app because music is an important part of a ride. Second, I’d also like to see my achievement badges on the app. Third, it would be great to see side by side comparisons of output/cadence/resistance with connections who have completed the same ride. Fourth, it would be interesting to think about sending push notifications when your connections finish a ride - I love giving my friends kudos when they complete rings on the Apple Watch. This totally helps build community. Finally, I’d really like functionality to be able to search for theme rides (ie Madonna, Lady Gaga etc). They’re a pain to search for now because you have to rely on comments on the Facebook page and then search for a specific date and instructor. I am a HUGE fan of the Peloton and am offering these suggestions to make the experience even more life changing. Thanks!.Version: 8.5.0

Mainly HIIT focusedIf you want something for cycling look elsewhere, aerobic threshold rides are incredibly short at 20-30 mins and recovery rides are few and far between, at time of writing I could locate just two in the last month, and those limited to 20 mins. So you end up just doing a couple of HIIT/Hill rides a week leaving you wondering if it’s worth the subscription as there isn’t enough content you can get a good, sustainable cycling programme from..Version: 15.2.0

Yes to youIf this is a cult, sign me up! The instructors and classes are excellent and Peloton’s done an amazing job of making getting fit fun again..Version: 15.11.0

Absolutely amazingI used the app before my tread arrived (April 24 and right on time) and I loved it. The Peloton app brings Peloton fans together in such a family way, I love it. Now I am using the app with the tread and omg I love it even more, the set up, the way it’s laid out, the quality of the screen with the app is amazing. If you are just using the app without a tread or bike it’s still amazing, you’ll love it. I am hooked on scenic runs, they are just stunning, and my favourite, trust me you’ll love the app and you’ll love being in the Peloton family, it’s friendly, people high5 you to encourage you and motivate you, it really is a buzz and it’s totally addictive!!! Come on join the best fitness family on the planet. xxx.Version: 15.3.0

Best fitness app out there! These classes are the best! Definitely a game changer! I add at least one of these workouts to my regular workout each day! The classes add variation to my workouts and keep me focused and motivated on those days where you feel a little less motivated to work out! So many instructors and classes to choose from and great music! Kendal Tool, Emma Lovewell and Jessica Simms are sure to please, every time and 30 days free with no strings attached, how can you possibly go wrong?!.Version: 14.8.0

Get the BikeTried the app without the bike and I didn't appreciate the full benefits. Whilst I was frustrated with their HIIT workouts (as I hate floor work and they don't let you filter them by non-floor workouts), I have been using the bike now for 3 months straight and I have never felt better or more motivated. Now, if you could just put some longer active recovery/flush rides that aren't called 'low impact' or 'advanced beginner' that would be great..Version: 14.8.0

The absolute best!!!I honestly can’t recommend this app enough. I can’t actually believe how good it is. There is so much context and so many workouts you couldn’t complete them all in a lifetime! There is literally everything you can think of and something to suit everyone. We recently bought the bike which is amazing but even if you don’t fancy the bike, get the app! It’s a must have, not only for physical health but mental too. I can’t tell you how much it’s helped with my mental health! Trust me, you will LOVE it!.Version: 15.13.0

Maya’s reviewSuch a great app really make me feel like I’ve accomplished something!.Version: 14.7.1

Pause function missingLove peloton but reallly curious why there is no pause function? Life happenstance, doorbells ring, an itch needs to be scratched, kids interrupt etc etc we need to be able to pause and resume in these cases. So- why does the workout stats finish at the end of each class? It makes stacks useless if the stats aren’t cumulative. Finally, why is the text here white so I can’t see what I’m writing?!!.Version: 15.4.1

Love, Love, Love It!!!! Addicted!!!!!!What can i say except for wow! I did not think I would take to this at all as somebody who hasn’t exercised properly in forever and who isn’t in the best of shape and overweight but I honestly cannot get enough of it! Yes of course with the bike and the subscription it is expensive but I feel it’s worth every penny as this does not just help with your physical health but your mental & emotional health too! I’ve tried a few different instructors now for cycling, yoga & meditation and found them all to be fantastic! I really didn’t think I’d be capable of doing even the beginner classes with how unfit I am but I have and I’m super proud of myself, super grateful to peloton for giving me this fantastic thing to focus on and feeling much healthier & energised than I have done in years! Thank you for welcoming me into the peloton family! 😊😍.Version: 12.5.0

I love KirraMy go-to girl.Version: 15.20.0

Have the option to search for classes and programsI do like the app, and the fact that there are programs that can be followed. The different levels and stuff is nice too. One thing I want to say is you should add the option of being able to search for classes or programs. This will make the app infinitely more easy and fun to use. Right now I’m looking for a low impact body weight strength program. I have to click on every video skip to see the exercises that are in the program to see if it’s suitable. This is very annoying. Please have a look at making the app useable and easier to navigate through.Version: 12.5.2

Way better than other appsI’ve been feeling down and want to do up my energy levels so I thought I’d give this a try. Really loved the treadmill class (it’s far better watching an instructor than counting in my head and focusing on the clock). Feel much better after 30 minutes than I’ve felt for weeks. Looking forward to giving the spin class a go on my turbo trainer (don’t have a spin bike) but can see my cadence so should be fun! Maybe I’ll feel more positive soon. I am expecting connectivity problems with our shocking, Scottish wi fi. It’d be perfect if it wasn’t for that but I like you can run the classes offline so I can buffer the videos at night (when I can actually download stuff)..Version: 14.1.0

Great APPApp is very clearly presented..Version: 15.7.0

Small investment for huge rewardsI’ve been using the app since March 2019. This is the first time I have stuck through with any sort of consistent activity for so long that didn’t involve me training for a race. Speaking of which, I used the app to train for a 10k PR. I am now using it to train for my first half marathon. The treadmill, cycling, boot camp, yoga, stretching, strength and meditation classes are top notch. There is at least one instructor in each class category that you will love. In my case, I’m a huge fan of Becs, Rebecca, Matt, Denis, Jess, Ross, Matty, Selena, Christine, and Cody. They have done a really good job hiring a diverse team of instructors with a variety of backgrounds and teaching styles. I tried several of the top fitness apps before settling on Peloton. The app is really well-made. The only thing I wish it had was the option to stack workouts, which would come in handy for outdoor runs (yes, they’ve got coached outdoor runs, too.) There is so much content on this app and new classes are added every day. I don’t see myself using anything else anytime soon..Version: 12.0.0

Top StuffThoroughly enjoying the Peloton Collections. No matter where in Australia I am - city, country or outback, it brings a first class training community to my world. It’s such a game changer when there are very limited gyms or exercise classes in regional areas of Australia..Version: 15.35.0

ConvenientIt’s like having a personal trainer in your house whenever you want it. Convenient and you don’t have to drive to a gym..Version: 12.4.0

Exercise addictMy orthopedic surgeon told me I was a classic exercise addict when I was sitting in his office a few years ago for my 3rd knee surgery in as many years. I was a mixed martial artist, a CrossFitter and an all around glutton for punishment when it came to the way I treated my body. If it didn’t hurt, I wasn’t interested. My husband told me to look at Peloton but I was never interested in cycling because it didn’t seem intense enough. Well... after much coaxing, I bought a Peloton and I freaking loved it from the minute I started. Totally surprised myself. The other thing I didn’t count on was the community. Similar to what I was used to in CrossFit and in fighting. Peloton has built a wonderful platform that everyone feels welcome. I also didn’t count on the amazing content that this app has. It’s not just about the bike or the tread. It’s about workouts I can do when I travel for work. Everything from strength workouts to outdoor running to yoga and meditation. It’s worth every penny. And the instructors... I realize none of them know me, but they are a big part of my life. They are knowledgeable and vulnerable and real and inspiring on so many levels. I highly recommend this app, the bike, the tread and everything this company does..Version: 11.2.0

Explicit languageI've noticed a fair bit of explicit language recently, from both the trainers and in the music. You know a lot of us are in lockdown, exercising with our children or our children are in the room while we exercise. Do the sessions *have* to contain explicit language? What's the added value? Why do I have to hide sessions which are excellent in every other way? On a happier note - just did an advanced workout with Andy Speer. He’s a champ! Excellent workout, definitely doing more of his..Version: 14.9.0

Pretty good, but I would love a way to pause programsI’ll start by saying I’m mostly happy with the app. There’s a lot of content to choose from, I work up a sweat, and there are beginner classes that are great for me, a person who really only started working out in earnest a few months ago. My only gripe is that once you start a program, it gives a set amount of days to finish the program. So if you get sick, or if anything else comes up that takes you out of the game for more than a day (and I type this as I’m feeling I’ll and knowing I won’t be up for working out for at least a few days), you’re out of luck, and those classes just get skipped. Even if you do them later, it doesn’t count. And if you’re doing a program that’s more than just two to three days a week, you’ll never catch up. Anyway, I’m a big fan of programs. I’m not an athlete, I’m not a trainer, so I like to have someone tell me what to do and when, but I really wish this app allowed for some life to get in. Alternatively, my preference would be to not timebox programs at all. Nike doesn’t, why does peloton need to? But if it MUST be timeboxed, at least give me the option to say “I can’t do this right now, but that doesn’t mean I want to give up”..Version: 15.25.0

Love love love PelotonOMG if you need motivation and encouragement to workout like i do please get Peloton it is changing my life, i am positive about working out now - i have 3 stone to loose and i am making the change! This Ap, the instructors, the equipment is just amazing. Im just a 46 old Uk mum of 8 year old twins with a lot of weight to loose but hell I know im going to achieve it with Peloton- do something for yourself and make the investment its worth it i promise. Corinne Bruce, Norwich. UK.Version: 15.0.0

Best thing I've done for myself in a long timeI've had the app now for a little over a year, and this has been the most I've worked out consistently in a couple of decades. I had belonged to an expensive gym, and the only classes I really wanted to go to were the spin classes, but I hated going to spin class. Trying to get there on time to get a bike, and dealing with a room full of smelly people, me included, plus not always understanding what the instructor was saying made me not like it so much. I quit the gym, bought a spin type bike, with attachments for my iPad, cadence monitor, heart rate monitor, spd clip pedals, and I haven't stopped getting on the bike. The instructors are great. I figured out which ones suit me best after a few months, the music is great, and I can hear and understand the instructions perfectly. I have a little table next to my bike to keep my hand weights and extra water. I love this so much. I've lost fat and have developed muscle tone. There's been a recent update where I can attach my cadence and heart rate monitors to the Peloton app which is fantastic. Thank you for that. Some day, I'll be able to get the actual bike, until then, this works perfectly for me..Version: 9.4.1

Ok with drawbacksFor the most part, I really enjoy the app but ... More as feedback to Peloton 1. They ignore a large market - not everyone is their 20’s, 30’s or 40’s. There are very fit people in their 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and even 80’s who would love the app but the music selection is slim pickings. 2. If you like country music, class selection is slim pickings. 3. If you travel a lot and are off the grid, forget taking classes with you. Such a bummer. Other subscription services let you download your music, classes or videos and enjoy off the grid so long as you are paying a monthly service fee. This for me is the deal breaker. I am without any form of WiFi or cellular connection often and cannot understand why I cannot take my classes with me if I am paying for them. 4. The yoga classes that I have taken thus far are just so so. It is about breath and movement but the instructors just talk too much. It isn’t instruction but empty platitudes. Focus on the yoga. I know some people need to hear their name called out and a hardy pat on the back, but in the middle of a yoga class is just not the time..Version: 15.2.0

Great for all round fitness and you don’t need the bike!!I signed up to the app during COVID lockdown on a free trial basis and have to say it has been superb...can’t rate it highly enough. I have used it for yoga, strength training, cardio HiiT sessions and stretching pre and post runs primarily. The sheer amount of content is amazing and top quality. I’ve loved getting into Yoga, have tried a few time’s but never really got into it but that has changed since using the app. They have some of the best Yoga instructors in New York leading sessions and the library of classes are incredible and great for all abilities. I for sure will continue with my subscription after my free trial runs out..Version: 14.0.3

Luv itIf this doesn’t get you going nothing will.Version: 15.13.0

Love it, please add these thingsKeep it up guys you will have a customer for life. Amazing. Please add filter for equipment (I want to filter out weights) 🙏.Version: 14.5.0

30 min Disney RideI really like it and it’s really nice to know that there are some other people in the world that are there up to the challenge and it’s really enjoyable..Version: 15.14.2

Absolutely brilliant and so addictiveI bought myself an exercise bike (not a Peloton) and decided to give the app a try anyway. It’s absolutely brilliant. Most of all I love the wide choice of music to spin to. I keep finding some great classes with songs I love (even the Pixies!!) and it just makes me want to exercise more. I will get round to trying some of the other classes such as core, but for now the cycling keeps me very occupied. Love love love it..Version: 14.9.1

Subscription fitness at its best!Been using the app for workouts for the last 4 months and I am obsessed with it. Am particularly keen on the treadmill workouts - I love running outdoors but it’s not always practical and boy does this app take away from the monotony of treadmill running. It even spurred me on to my faster 5k, 10k and 1 mile distances for the last 3 years in the short time I have been using it. I love the ranges provided so you can measure profession by taking the same class, the instructors are inspiring, the user experience is sleek and uncomplicated. I too would love to be able to interact with my contacts a bit more (get notifications of them finishing workouts etc.) and see if they signed up for the same live classes - there is a sense of community already but I think it could be built on. As an app user, I’d love the ability to rate the workouts after I complete them to more easily return to the ones I enjoyed most. Personally a bit more information on the run itself would be useful I.e 4 min work up, followed by 3 min sprint intervals followed by 3 mins hill intervals etc. But these are minor points - I have already converted 5+ friends to the app and am thinking of getting the treadmill itself because I love the whole idea so much! #teampeloton.Version: 9.9.0

Best Fitness App EVER!I don’t usually write reviews, but I wanted to go out of my way to write this one and thank Peloton for making exercise something I actually look forward to. I started with Peloton Digital six months ago and I am incredibly thankful that I tried it out. I enjoy outdoor running, but I’ve always dreaded the treadmill. With the Peloton Digital treadmill workouts, I now look forward to my treadmill time. I’ve become faster and built up my endurance, and the results look and feel amazing. The instructors are fantastic (especially my fave, Robin Arzon) and the time goes by so quickly when I am doing these workouts. I’ve also started taking the strength training classes and I love that I can get them done in 20 minutes or less with little to no equipment. These workouts really are accommodating to all levels of fitness, and the instructors are supportive and make you feel good. They are so much better than any personal trainer I’ve ever had and at a fraction of the cost. In short, I love Peloton Digital and I highly recommend giving it a try..Version: 11.4.0

Best workout App Ever - this one is a keeperI have tried probably every fitness App going and never got further than the free trial, unfortunately I’m going to have to pay for this one as absolutely brilliant. I use a standard static bike with variable resistance for the cycling workouts and the outdoor walking audios (as weather allows!). Loads more to try. Love the variety, and the daily live workouts. Not going to get bored. Challenging, but time flies when working out Thank you.Version: 14.7.1

PeloHOOKedEverything about Peloton is a yes! The convenience, the variety of instructors, the community and the platform are all amazing. I’m an app rider and the on-demand classes are great. Since we app riders don’t have the metrics that are available to Peloton owners, it would be an added bonus if the instructor’s commands were on the screen - cadence and resistance. Tick marks on the timeline for when intervals commence would be helpful as well; since I ride one-hour per day but the classes I often take are 45 minute classes. In those cases, I simply back up the video to get another 15 minutes. But I find that I have to make a mental note as to when certain intervals begin when I rewind the video. Peloton is an amazing platform and I’ve recommended the bikes (though I don’t have one) and the app many, many times over the last three months. I’ve ridden 98 consecutive one-hour rides. In two days, I’ll join the century club (my own century club...I’m an app rider!!!!).Version: 9.1.0

Everything I’ve been looking for, For my home workoutsSince going in an out of lockdowns I’ve been looking for the right exercise to do at home. I’ve tried so many different things and I’ve tried pretty much every gym where I live! This app is everything! The instructors are great and the exercises are easy to follow along. I havnt gotten a good sweat up like this for so long and having such a fun time. The main deal breaker for me and why I’m so obsessed is the music! It’s so great and so motivating it’s exactly what we need. I wanted to get the app before I purchased the bike and the app had sold me so I’m very excited for the bike to arrive. Thankyou finally an app that cares about exercise and music together! X.Version: 15.14.2

Needs More FunctionalityI love the app and the classes. I’ve taken a few cardio and yoga classes so far and have been impressed with the descriptions and instructors. The cardio classes could use to show what level the classes are but otherwise it’s fine. The app is easy to navigate and I like being able to create myself a schedule. It would be a lot nicer if you could search the classes for a specific title or instructor instead of being limited to the filter option. There should also be one section for just bookmarked classes. I also thought that creating a stack of classes would let the classes play back to back automatically for a custom yoga class, however, I had to complete each one and manually go back to start the next class so not much different than just adding them all to my schedule. It would be nice if they played automatically and you could set up stacks from the mobile app. Also wish I could see my schedule from the website as well..Version: 15.1.0

Loving this app!I just recently bought the Bowflex C6. After researching a lot of other apps I decided to try peleton. I wanted to do spin classes, not ride a simulated track outdoors somewhere. I’ve only been using this for about a week. Just completed my 5th or 6th ride and I am hooked! I have only used it for cycling so far, but there are other options for workouts. But as for cycling, there is a lot of variety to choose from. There’s different class durations, different genres of music, a lot of different instructors and different types of class types. They offer a 7 week free trial, so check it out if you’re curious. I love it! Update:I’ve been using for almost two years now and it is still my favorite app. It is so user friendly and easy to navigate. I recently purchased a rowing machine and have another app for that and it is terrible. Sometimes it can take me ten minutes to find a class and get going…it’s ridiculous. PELETON…please add rowing to your repertoire!.Version: 15.13.0

The BEST!!!We have the Peloton bike at my house because my dad got it as a birthday present, and he’s been trying to get the rest of us to start using it too. When he told me that Peloton has an app and is more than just biking, I decided to try it. Best. Decision. Ever. I’ve been working out for a while now, but I never really got sweaty or made the most of my workouts. Boy has that changed! The instructors are so inspiring (special shoutouts to Olivia Amato and Matty Maggiacomo) and I now work up a sweat in every workout I do. I used to hate running and so I was really reluctant to try a treadmill workout, but I went for it and I actually enjoyed it! For anyone on the fence about Peloton, let this be your sign that you should just go for it because you definitely won’t regret it! (PLUS... your whole family can make accounts with no extra monthly charge!) This app motivates me to push harder in my workouts and it’s awesome. The only complaint I have: you should be able to rate the workouts/instructors in the app after you take the classes. You can do that on the bike tablet, but not the app for some reason. Otherwise, love it!!.Version: 10.7.0

Love all the optionsI don’t currently have a Peloton bike but I am loving the workout option the provides..Version: 14.8.0

Covid quarintine purchaseMy spin bike was my covid quarantine purchase. I was not able to afford the Peloton bike but I use my spin bike along with the app and the set up really works for me. The classes are comparable to the ones I took in a studio. I love the convenience of being able to take classes on my own schedule and there’s so many classes to choose from you won’t get bored. My only gripe is the phone app and the firestick app don’t sync well. I tried to bookmark classes with my phone app and then pull up class on my tv but it doesn’t save on either platform. It will save 5-8 classes but it’s never the ones I recently bookmarked. It’s just frustrating when you’re ready to start your workout and having to filter then scroll for 2 min to look a for a class to take. I’d rather just pick one from a saved list. Also, last time I checked on the firestick tv app you can’t take the scenic rides. Overall though the app is a great motivator and tool to guide me with my bike workouts..Version: 14.10.2

AmazingAmazing.Version: 15.27.0

Glad it’s now in the UK!So glad I can now use this in the UK. I only have a basic spin bike and have done my first class but found it easy to keep up with the cadence and resistance. The instructor was so motivating and the tracks were insane. Also good that I could log in via my laptop and cast to my tv in front of my bike. I’ve been using Studio Sweat for spin for a few years but got bored with there only being 1 or 2 new classes every few weeks that I wanted to do. Now I have a massive library to choose from and it looks like there a lot of new classes every day so I hope to get my mojo back and actually look forward to spinning again! Will also check out the other classes so I can do some weights..Version: 9.7.0

Best Workout App ever!I LOVE the app. The content is awesome, the classes are diverse and appeal to a wide range of tastes. The only things that would make it better would be some minor additions for us app only users. 1- as of now to see who high fives or to give a high 5 the user has to change the phone orientation from landscape to portrait. This is very difficult to do while huffing and puffing and trying not to die lol. It would be great if they could make the notification a banner instead of that red dot. The banner could extend out across the bottom showing then name of the person giving the high five and then we could tap on it and high five back in the banner without having to reorient the phone. And 2- if they could make it possible to get distance to appear in the run summary like cadence does at the end on the bike. Allow some kind of blue tooth compatibility for runs like the wahoo sensor Is for the bike—maybe through a foot pod—so we app users can see the miles we put in and can maybe participate in some run challenges. But regardless this app is awesome. Try it out. You won’t regret it!!.Version: 14.0.0

Not enough training programmesI’m otherwise loving Peloton but after having completed the two beginner training programmes there’s nothing really I can continue with. The rest of the handful of spinning programmes are single-instructor and I don’t want to do just one thing for weeks. I’ve signed up for a challenge but feel a bit adrift getting on the bike now with no goals and no structure. I would think there are other people who would like to follow a programme and that those are not so difficult to programme in, similar to for example the Nike Training app..Version: 14.6.0

I highly recommend this. But a bit of a problemAMAZING It’s like a miracle it is like mind blowing I love it all you need to do is join it and done your on your way to a great body! It’s great I recommend this if your looking for a great body this is really really good it’s a life changer! You got to try it they are professional at it. There are challenges aswell! But you can’t cancel the trial so u need to pay 12+ every month I can’t cancel tho..Version: 14.10.0

Fantastic AppRecently bought the Bike+ and using the App with that, however the app is so good on its own also. Fantastic instructors guide you through each workout from run, walk, cardio, strength etc, with encouragement, knowledge and support. I will never use a gym again ! I can use the Bike+ and app at a time to suit me. No longer am I restricted by the gym timetable. I make my own in the comfort of my own home. What’s more is that the whole family can also use the app. Well done Peloton. This is awesome !.Version: 15.7.0

The Best App I Use On A Daily BasisI watched commercials for Peloton on TV and was intrigued. However, the price of the equipment seemed expensive to try on a whim. During Covid I found a promo for their app for a 3 month free trial. I have a stationary bike at home and decided to try it. The classes were as good as or better than those at my local Y. Then I discovered the other types of classes from strength, stretching, bootcamp, running and yoga. Slowly, I’ve been incorporating these into my daily routine during these Covid-days. I stream from my phone to my TV and it is like being in a class environment. The overall quality is great. It is truly a community and is helping me to really start to get back into shape. This is by far the most useful app I use. Well worth the money and better than 5 stars! I will buy a bike and I will buy a tread in the future. Thank-you Peloton!.Version: 14.4.0

ShockedI’m not a fan of the gym and ever since going on a health journey since 2019, I decided to find creative ways to exercise without going to the gym, i purchased a cheap indoor bike and began doing that for a year. This year I decided to include more weights and different variations of exercises on the bike so peloton app seamed interesting. I went into the app not expecting much, but as soon as I done my first class I was hooked, absolutely love the community aspect of it, that you can see profiles that are currently doing the class be it offline. I love the hype of the instructors and that they honour everyone going at their own pace. Love it. Really impressed with this app, I’ll defo continue using it. Thank Peloton :D.Version: 15.21.0

Many choices, iffy language and layoutTook many weeks of my trial to get a hang of most of the locations for things. Saw something you liked browsing earlier? Remember if it was a class, or a program, or a “featured?” Nope, me either. And just cuz you picked class at the bottom doesn’t mean you’ve got class at the top. Even after doing the same classes and programs for a week I’d get lost. And even though it was an ad for body weight/ equipment that lured me to the trial, it was weeks before I found that section. Ended up subscribing because I love the many choices of things to explore (once I remember where they' are), and there are often hundreds of classes in a grouping with decent filters for difficulty/ instructor/etc. if I quit, it will be because of language in songs (I see no way of disabling it— or adjusting relative volume which would occasionally be nice). Most of the stuff I do is fine, but I have small children in the room…and frankly I don’t want to run to music about other’s undiscerning procreating—and the running ones are the least appropriate playlists. I’ll use a different(free) app.Version: 15.14.2

An amazing resource!!Recently I discovered that my health insurance offers a membership to Peloton for free, so I signed up. Why not? I had nothing to lose and I’ve always been curious about it. I can’t tell you how great a resource this has been for me and my fitness journey. When I can’t motivate myself to go to the gym or get outside for a walk, it’s easy to talk myself into a 20 minute workout in my own living room. I feel stronger and I’m learning so much. The instructors are super fun and informative and as a beginner in most fitness activities, I’ve been loving the different program offerings for beginners. I’m currently in the middle of the beginner strength training program. I took off a star only because it’s a bit of a pain to get to my program workouts on my Roku app. There’s no place for me to see what programs I’m enrolled in or what classes I need to take next. So every time I want to do a program workout on my tv, I have to start it on my phone, pause it, then find the workout on my “recent classes” list. If there could be another easier way to navigate the programs on my tv, that would be amazing and I’d raise my rating to five stars! Either way, I’m grateful for this resource and I’ll definitely be a long time subscriber regardless of my health insurance. Thank you!.Version: 15.32.0

Close to perfectI have been using Peloton for a couple of years, more so this past 12 months. Originally provided with my Health insurance but subscribed when that ran out. I should say initially I do not own a Peloton bike but use it with a basic exercise bike, and still get the benefits. I use it for a variety of classes, strength, meditation, yoga. I have my favourite coaches, some I find better than others. I like the Schedule Option to allow you to set your workout for the week. I usually watch on demand rather then live. Here are a couple of improvements: 1. I have recently been unable to cast to my SONY tv, originally it worked fine now it just loads. I don’t know what f the issue is with the tv or app. Now I watch on a tablet ok. 2. I wish there was a recommendation option, particularly with the necessary warmups to save searching. 3. I wish there were more longer (60min) outdoor running, there’s only a couple in there just now. 4. The challenges are good and do offer some motivation but how about regular users are rewarded, loyalty points based on activities to be redeemed at Peloton? Just a thought. 5. I have reported that older catch up classes run out of sync, apparently this is being looked into but not resolved yet.,@ Over all as long as you are a regular user it is good value and hope it continues..Version: 15.11.0

LOVE it...just need outdoor free run trackingI have become obsessed with my peloton classes! I am using the app for my non-peloton tread (although hoping to upgrade once deliveries are allowed) and on my peloton bike. I use the app and bike for classes other than running and biking too. I’m a complete fan! However, there is no way to track a run on the Apple Watch outdoors. I’m looking to track a free run (not an audio class) without having to bring my phone. I ran twice outdoors this weekend, totaling 17 miles and about 200 minutes, but none of it counts towards the peloton metrics. I use the Apple Watch to track for my rings of course, but those peloton metrics are motivating and I want it to count. Is this something you are working on? I’m eager to do the marathon program training, but the non-guided runs won’t count. For an app that gets people to drive based upon data, this feature needs to be included in a future version. Still a huge fan, but want ALL of my metrics to count! Pretty please?!?!?!.Version: 14.1.0

Great app - needs Apple Watch improvementFound this whilst waiting for Apple Fitness + to arrive and glad I did. Amazing app with quality motivational instructors. Will stick with this for now as AF+ not as good and of course has no where near as many workouts. Only thing is AF+ Apple Watch integration is amazing as you would expect. I wish Peloton could do the same. Maybe they can’t or won’t but Peloton Apple Watch integration isn’t great. Is clunky and doesn’t always work well and loses connection. Fix that and would stay forever..Version: 14.10.0

The best of the subscription workout appsI do not own a peloton. I own a nordictrack treadmill, for which i used iFit for 1 year. It was awful. Tough interface, poor workouts, poor selection, hard to find what i wanted and hard to schedule. Then I tried Studio. It was better than iFit but only worked on my iphone and i wasn’t fond of the interface or selections. Last I tried the Peloton app, which is far and away the best subscription workout app. Streams beautifully on my iphone and ipad, works seamlessly with my airpods and apple watch, and works via airplay on my apple TV. There are countless workouts which are easy to find and sort (sort by duration, difficulty, type of workout, instructor, music style, etc). I have used it both at home and on the go and can always find something inspiring to get me a good workout in. The app is clearly well thought out and feels very professional. Worth every penny! Your search for the perfect workout app has ended!.Version: 12.1.0

Constructive feedbackI’ll start by saying I LOVE this program and I really really like the app. However, I think the developers should seriously consider a “favorites” tab as one of the options at the bottom, or at least a tab on the top of the screen under the “classes” section. Similar to “bookmarking” a workout, except the favorites tab would be quick and easy access to these bookmarked classes, rather than having to go to each respective “genre”, and choose the filter option to find bookmarked or taken classes. I just feel like this is way too many steps for people who just want to get their workout on, and improve on previously taken classes! It would also help people like myself who like to browse classes the day or night before and find a workout they like and plan on doing the next morning, etc. This would make it SO much easier to find that class again. Please seriously consider this. This would be the biggest cherry on top of an already amazing app and program! Planning and organization is important for holding yourself accountable! 💪🏻.Version: 14.0.2

Pausing programI began 26.2 part 1 20 weeks before my marathon because I know I will be unable to follow the program for 2 weeks when I am away trekking. I would like to be able to pause the program and pick up where I left off for those two weeks. Otherwise I’ll “complete” the program 2 weeks early but have missed some classes.Version: 15.20.1

Best $ Spent On An App!I’d like to say first off that if you love to spin this is the app for you. I initially subscribed to this when my work schedule conflicted with my spin classes at the gym. There also came a point when I could no longer afford a gym membership so I bought a spin bike (great investment) and was able to utilize this at home!! Add in a new baby and I’ve used this app endlessly. My only wish was that other forms of exercise could have added. I love to run and weightlifting. Then came Peloton Tread! Game over. Will never delete this app. I can’t wait to try it out. My one and only complaint is that it sometimes loses the stream to my TV while I’m spinning which completely ends the workout. I have to close the app, find my workout, then FF to the part I was at. Other than that, I LOVE this app. Great coaches. Awesome attitudes. Good energy. I feel like I’m in the studio with them and I get a great workout. Now I get to run and do other forms of exercise with the coaches too..Version: 9.0.0

Amazing AppI think this App collection in general is amazing. I can mix many different workouts from my iPad to my iphone depending on where I am. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think you should be able to download the outdoor run workouts to your Apple Watch. You shouldn’t need to take your phone out with you when your running. If this feature is ever added I will change to 5 stars. Loving it!!.Version: 14.4.2

Impressed 👍I have been doing spinning (indoor cycling) for many years but because of lockdown I bought a spin bike for home because unable to go the gym. This week I have joined Peloton and I am so impressed with the choice I have. I have done a 45 min class nearly every day so far, looking for the best but so far everyone so different but all so good. One thing for sure I won’t get bored. In 2019 I did 1,000 km on a spin bike doing every spin class in 23 days and raised £1,000 for Mental Health UK. And I will be 70 yrs old in June this year. Here’s hoping my husband buys me a Peloton bike. Well done to Peloton - it is really good..Version: 14.10.2

Best workout app ever!I’ve tried so many different workout apps/programs but honestly Peloton wins by far. Such great variety, fun music playlists, hilarious instructors, many levels of difficulty and duration. Makes it hard to not workout when you have so many options! Can’t fault it..Version: 15.27.0

In love!I’ve never been good about self care and although I’ve joined gyms in the past, going never became a habit. In my mid 40’s now, high blood pressure, short of breath after inactivity from thr pandemic, over 200 lbs, and in the process of being tested for MS… finally decided to “try” the gym again. The Peloton app has been a game changer for me. After just 2 weeks, I can run for 25 min straight (I probably couldn’t even do that in high school). The app is so easy to use. I usually do the elliptical at the gym because it doesn’t hurt my brain as much and I’ve used the Outdoor (audio only) and videos to guide me. The structure of each video is so great! I used to be a clock watcher on the boring machine, but with the app it’s about getting through small parts of the without. The trainers are so personable and walk me through the whole thing. I love the positive messages throughout the workout. There are lots of phrases of acceptance and inclusion. For the first time in my life, I feel good about working out!.Version: 15.24.0

Love this app!I have been a Peloton bike user (in my building gym) for a year and a half. I was doing workouts 5 days/wk. When the COVID-19 crisis started unfolding. As many things started changing the directive to close gyms came to fruition & my building complied and closed our gym facilities. I knew I’d be able to “deal” with the changes put into place however, one thing that really annoyed me was that I’d have to stop my 5 day a week habit that I have painstakinly made part of my daily week day regimen. I did not want to break this habit. This is where this app came in! Peloton brilliantly extended a 90 day trial for their app. I am hooked! I plan on keeping my membership and plan to incorporate it into my routine. I have been able to keep up with workouts from the same people who I have grown to love and more. While, its not the cycling part I was able to seamelssly continue a workout routine. Once things start to reopen I will go back to cycling but I definitely will want the other workouts that were not currenty part of using the gym bike. I love the variety of workouts, instrutors, playlists...one thing I would love to see is an ability to create a workout “playlist”. Sometimes I want to exercise for 60 minutes total and I like to do 2 30 minute workouts. I would love the ability to select the 2 workouts and have them play in selected order..Version: 14.1.0

A few tweaks plsI love the platform and the app. A few improvements I would love to see - an ability to easily stack up a few classes that you are going to complete in a row (warm up, ride, stretch) so that they play continuously and a better description of the classes when you click on one rather than the generic (eg. this is a core class with one minute planks and lots of bicycles)..Version: 14.4.4

Love this app!I have tried a number of other exercise apps and pay-to-view exercise class sources. Peloton is definitely the best. I do not have a Peloton bike but use the classes with my less expensive spin bike and I am very happy with the results. My bike does not have any read outs for cadence or resistance but I can easily keep up with the instructors directions and adapt my efforts to be in line with the intended workout. I love the variety of workouts, the thoughtful and informed instruction, the quality of the video production, the ease of use with the app and the fact that all of it is ready anytime I want. I am getting back to working out after a very long break and this app has not only made it possible, it has made it fun. I am trying things I would never try at the gym- I completed Robyn’s Tabata challenge and am working my way through the Andy’s strength program. Would never do that in the intimidating space of the gym or if they didn’t make it approachable to try. Yes- there is a subscription fee. But for me that is money well spent and it is a bargain given all that I take from it..Version: 14.4.4

Making A difference in my Parkinson’s one ride at a time.At 56, I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in fall of 2016 after a few years of struggling with a hand tremor and body stiffness. At the time I started reading about what I could do to improve my symptoms. Spinning was high on the list. My husband and I purchased a Peloton bike in November 2016. I immediately fell in love with the many choices of classes and especially the instructors. Ally, Robin and Jenn seem to be my go to leaders. We live during the work week at an apartment which has spinning bikes so I use the app and on the weekends I ride my Peloton. I can’t tell you how much the Peloton community means to me and has significantly improved my ability to keep working at my job and giving me hope for my future. It is definitely an important part of my care regime. I’m a HUGE fan! Keep up all the great improvements. Next time I visit my daughter in NYC I’ll stop by and take a class. Tears of appreciation. Love you all. Kim Fredericks- kmypd Mukilteo/Bellevue Washington Xoxo..Version: 12.1.1

Worth every pennyI have had this app for over a year now and it has literally changed my life. I have lost two stone in weight and kept it off, become toned and have energy. As a working mum I could never find time to get to the gym but now the gym is in my house and I get to choose how long I exercise for - it can be as little as ten minutes. This makes it easy for me to exercise everyday, establish a routine and stick to it. Also, for those who think this is just a bike or running app I do neither. I do the yoga, Pilates, barre, strength, dance fitness and a lot of core..Version: 15.23.0

#PelotonFamilySpecifically what makes it 5 stars? Lots of great classes, instructors, challenges, integrations, and a seamless experience that makes it that much easier for us to achieve our fitness goals..Version: 12.4.0

Bang of a coach and rideFantastic workout and motivator. You rock.Version: 14.7.0

Almost everythingAbsolutely love the classes and community on Peloton. The variety and quality of content combined with the regular challenges and rewards has helped me establish a consistent work out routine. My only recommendations are regarding the functionality of the app. First, it would be nice if there were a way to filter through workout history by type, time, instructor, etc, which would make it easier to track progress and share favorite classes with friends. Additionally, a ‘free run’ feature would be great, something that only tracks distance/time without requiring an outdoor class. Sometimes, when I’m interested in going on a long run, I would prefer to settle in to a book or podcast instead of a workout. It would be nice to be able to use the Peloton app in this situation —so all workout info is in one place and challenges maybe get updated — instead of jumping to a different app that allows me to play music/podcasts..Version: 14.9.0

The Best App You Will Ever Download ......I live in the UK and somehow I’m lucky enough to still have access to this app as I’ve noticed that it’s no longer available in the UK App Store. I’ve had it a few years, stumbled across it looking for a spinning workout when I damaged my itb band running and had to take a break. I’ve never looked back. I absolutely love the workouts and the instructors, it’s never boring, the music is fantastic and motivating. I have been waiting years to get the bike in this country!!! Come on Peloton, hurry up with the launch. The new content is brilliant, I’m now back out running, thanks to the outdoor runs, I walk to work with them too, more walking workouts would be good and with the core and arms, it’s full body and constantly varied. I’d just like a job working for the company now and it would be happy days .......Version: 9.4.2

Very goodNo understand that I have a Fitbit app for my Fitbit watch that I also use. However I really only use that to monitor a heart rate in my sleep quality and a half and other other things I don’t use it for the work out because the workouts on that app just didn’t interest me for some reason I guess is the best way to say it. However I’ve worked outA couple what time is very regularly using this peloton app the workouts are fun, they’re just the right difficulty, and I think it’s a little clearer to follow because it’s really just in the videos just the instructor. It’s not like you’re in a whole class which I kind of found distracting with the other app so you feel that it’s just you and the instructor with one on one which is really great. The boxing workouts that I’ve done are excellent and they make you sweat. I just finished an ab workout that was only five minutes and it was it was very very difficult but that’s great because that’s something that I want to work on. Overall I got to say it’s a great app you’re gonna love it you’re going to get some great workouts in you’re going to continuously use it as I will. My one why would the app I guess is sometimes the music is a little bit distracting because I think it’s just a little bit too loud but I I think there’s a way to mediate that. I also just meditated using this app and the meditations are nice the calming perfect so all in all it’s a really really good app that I think you will get your moneys worth out of.Version: 15.23.0

Motivates me to work outI cannot recommend this app enough. I don’t have a Peleton bike or any other Peleton equipment, I just have this app and let me tell you, I have never been so motivated to work out and I have never worked out so much in my life! I never played sports or really exercised much, but there is strength required with my job so I decided it’s time to get motivated. A friend recommended this app to me and it has honestly changed my life. I love the variety of workouts offered; for many you do not need any equipment besides a mat. The instructors are kind and helpful and they make it simple to follow along with the videos. I am halfway done with the beginner strength program and I can already tell I’m getting stronger. I do other workouts outside the program as well and for the first time in my life I have worked out every day for a week in a row! And I actually enjoy working out and don’t dread it. I seriously cannot recommend this app enough, if you are unmotivated like I was give it a try..Version: 15.8.0

Love the instructors - great workouts!I’ve fallen in love with this app. All of the instructors produce amazing fitness content and I love opening the app each day to see what classes are available and how much progress I’ve made. I don’t have any peloton equipment, yet I still have a huge variety of classes to choose from. It’s addictive. I recommend it to all my friends and family, despite its fallbacks. I can only give it 4 stars because the app still needs a lot of improvement. I prefer to cast my workouts to the tv, but it has terrible compatibility with Google Chromecast. I’ll try to cast, then if I even just wake my phone to look at the lock screen, it’ll lose the play position. The audio will be mismatched with the video. Today it even was playing the same video out of both the tv and my phone at different times in the video. Additionally the UX isn’t very intuitive; it took me a while to get used to finding things in the app, and they’re different than where they are on the desktop. It needs simplification. Once these downfalls are addressed, I’ll be able to give it 5 stars. But for now I still love the app, though I just have a slightly frustrated experience..Version: 14.4.3

BugsLove the bike. Love the classes. On the software side I think it could be better. Apple Watch & Health integration for Bike+, cycling distance doesn’t update, even though this option is switched on in permissions. Filtering for classes - no free text search, which is possible on the bike. Not a big problem, but an unnecessary inconvenience. Happy to see that class stacking is now possible in the app and past issues with airplay have been fixed. Features that would be nice to have, but aren’t available on the bike either: 1. Filtering for past workouts by class length and class type. To be able to compare and easily see progress in performance. 2. A graph for completed power zone workouts showing class target power zones. 3. Just more statistical information in general to measure progress, rather than needing 3rd party apps. But…. I love the bike and the classes, Best purchase ever!.Version: 15.14.1

AwesomeJust try it… you’ll like it!.Version: 15.12.1

Great app even if you don’t have a Peleton bikeI purchased a Schwinn AC performance spin bike in late 2018 and later decided to join the peloton family. I initially found it hard to really have the immersive experience without the large Peloton display screen or the resistance metric, which should have simply been called gear like most other spin bikes. Plus, I really enjoyed my real spin classes on the weekends at my local LA Fitness, so I didn’t really spin at home much. Then the pandemic hit and I’ve never been so happy to spin at home in the basement which I’ve fixed up to look nicer since I’m down there so much more. I find the best classes for non-Peloton spin bikes are power zone since you can better follow those classes by hitting watt targets which all spin bikes should have with their optional power meters. My favorite instructor is Matt Wilpers, but Olivia and Christine are great too, and I’m taking more of Dennis Morton’s classes lately..Version: 14.10.1
