✓ Lousy! What is wrong with you people!I have no idea why this app has received so many high reviews. The book has little to no interaction. You don't actually get to play the piano--- just follow dots and sheet music to songs my kids have never even heard, and to dress up your avatar, you get to spend MORE MONEY!!!! I don't know about you, but I expect full functionality for a program I pay $5 for--- or at least full disclosure so I know what you're getting into. Don't waste your time or your money. ✓ No longer works 10-16The app force closes when the first page is turned. I deleted it and did a new download. So sad. Hope it gets fixed soon. I've had this several years without any prior issues. ( All my software is up to date.) October 2017 - Edited 12 months after my original post. The app has finally been revised. We'll see how long it continues to work. ✓ What a Let DownI was really happy at first to see this. But after downloading it, I can't scroll through the pages. It says random words on pages, if I try to go to a different page, it starts back at the beginning. Thought it was my phone, so I turned it off, restarted, still the same thing. Although I spent $4.99 on it, I deleted it immediately. What a joke! Kind of a let down. :( Am only giving "1" star because you have to to submit a review. ✓ Have to create an account!?I paid for this app and I find that I have to create an account or sign into Facebook to do the interactive features? That is not right! If the app was free, sure I understand, but I already paid you I am your customer (really my 5 year old is the customer) not whomever you plan on selling my info to. I see also there is in app purchases, again if it was free that would be fine, but I already gave you money. Very disappointed..Version: 1.1

✓ Why did you no include Snoopy WW1 flying ace?I own the Christmas book and was really excited when I purchased the Great Pumpkin book. But they totally left out one of the best scenes in the book! What is missing is when snoopy becomes the world war 1 flying ace and goes behind enemy lines in France. The colors from theses scenes are awesome and they missed a great opportunity to include this. How can you write a book where parts of the show are completely missing? I would have given this book 4-5 stars if it were included. If you ever write another great pumpkin book, please include this..Version: 1.0
✓ Really good app with a big flaw - in-app purchasesI loved this TV special and wanted to share it with my son. The app does a very good job at translating the show into a book. It even lets your kid create a character to add to the story. Nice. Not so nice is paying for this app and then being stuck having to either pay for different colors as such for the character, or telling your child "no" when he suggests adding a pair of glasses. I'd give this four stars if try ditched the in-app racket. Five stars if they made it easier to turn pages in the book; swiping each line or two of text gets to be a drag. A button to click on would be nice, as would an automatic page turn when you swipe past the end of the text..Version: 1.1
✓ It's okThey forgot about snoopy parts. It is the best part in the movie! I was expecting to play with snoopy when he goes to war with his dog house and pretend to be a plan!! It would have been perfect with that scene added....Version: 1.3
✓ App doesn't work!!!Was excited and had no problem to spend the $$ on the app so my little 5 yr old boy could enjoy the same story, cartoon, characters and music that I so loved 40 years ago. Down loaded and every single time I turn the 1st page to hear the story being read, the app completely shuts itself down, it goes to a black screen and the takes me back to the main screen of my iPad. Totally disappointed, bummed and heart broken. Would like answers and want it fixed asap before Halloween 2016 or want full refund!!! 😖😢😤😔.Version: 1.3
✓ Booooo. Don't buy.This app is nothing like the Charlie Brown Christmas book. See below. The worst part, however, is that 'cool' part of the book that lets you customize an avatar in costume to appear on one of the pages is only accessible if you enter an email address and/or sign in with Facebook. I'm guessing there are in-app purchases to be made for costume options. The Christmas book had a lot of fun Easter eggs and achievements to find, but there are only a few in this book. Even skipping all that extra 'functionality', this book is just not as nifty as the Christmas book. There is no option to have the entire thing read to you; you have to manually swipe through the narration on the each panel and it's easy to accidentally tap on a word instead. You also have to use the pull down bookmark to move from one page to the other. You can't actually swipe between pages/panels. Terrible navigation. I've removed the book from my iPad so I don't have to deal with the disappointment of telling the kids, "no," repeatedly when they want me to hand over email or permit them an in-app purchase..Version: 1.1
✓ DisappointedLoved the Christmas one. Gorgeous book and interactivity, but do not know why they integrated buying more coins for the costumes. We are already paying 4.99, why gouge us further. Kids were very disappointed in this, plus it required internet access which is not aways available. I would buy more of these books but not if they have this extra payment component. ✓ Not as polished or fun as the Christmas appMy son was looking forward to this app when he saw it. He loved the Christmas one. We downloaded it and he immediately went about creating a Halloween costume for his character. He was very disappointed when it was required to buy coins to get some of the other fun costumes. Look guys, we already spent $5.00 for the app - to see you offering coins for $20 and $50 in order to create a costume for a character in the book we've already purchased is pure, ugly greed. It's disgusting really - especially given that these apps are most appropriate for children. I'll be avoiding the next apps you release..Version: 1.1

However, the background music suddenly stopped on all Charlie Brown apps and when I contact loud crow to see what the problem is.... No answer whatsoever. Nothing on their site about it. ✓ Pay to Play Kids App That Costs $4.99?!? Seriously?!?!?I should have read the reviews. I never even imagined that a $5 app, geared towards kids, would require in-app purchases in order to play. What the heck? I agree with other reviewers that the makers and distributors of this app should be deeply ashamed of themselves. A new greed low, really, that parents have to explain to their kids, often 5 or under, that no they can't play that without buying "coins" and why won't mommy buy coins? Because she already paid $5 for the app and you need real money to buy fake money in the game. Great lesson that people stink. I will never again pay a penny for a Loud Crow app..Version: 1.1

✓ Unusable on iOS 14.1 and iPadOS 14.1This app crashes usually within the first minute or two after launching it. So far, it’s crashed for us on an iPhone XR, iPad Air 3rd Gen, iPad Pro 12.9 (2018), and an iPhone 7 Plus. Any chance this can be fixed? I’ve tried using the tech support form on the developer website, but it just returns an error message saying the message failed to send. Al the employees on the About Us page appear to have moved on to other jobs as well, except for the Founder/CEO, so does this developer even still exist in an official capacity?.Version: 1.7
✓ In desperate need of an upgrade!I downloaded this 4 years ago onto my iPad 3 and it played flawlessly. Love the animation, music, and interactive features! Since then, I have purchased an iPad 4 and iPhone 6 and both have the updated iOS 10.1. This app plays OK on my phone, but that is too small to really enjoy. It constantly crashes on my iPad and is useless on that. The last update, according to this site, was in 2013! ✓ Not for children, many inappropriate words used in app.I almost deleted this app immediately after started about 30 seconds. The words used in the story are way too violence and negative for children. It maybe fun in the interest of an adult, but it's inappropriate for children. When you and your kid sit down and trying to enjoy a funny and spooky Halloween story for a nice Sunday afternoon, it just felt like a bomb explored on a peaceful land with this app. There're way too many negative things and words people doing and saying everyday, I don't need to "buy" these things in to me and my children's life. I'll pretend I just dropped $6 bucks on the street. There're many ways to tell a good Halloween story by using positive and beautiful words. This app is not suitable for children at all.
