✓ 5 stars data, 0 star front endIkitesurf have been for years the leader and pretty much the only option for great real time wind data and high quality human forecast (in the SF bay area at least). Sadly, all that great value is packaged in a terribly dated front end, both on the web and apps. It looks likes that company never seem to prioritize user experience at all, and is content with a barely working front end that was already obsolete 10 years. What a shame. ✓ Why did you change itMy husband hauls lobster traps offshore in Maine and uses this weather app everyday up until you changed it. He has a hard time seeing the wind graph, especially the time and wind speed, we will be deleting this app 😞. ✓ Great forecast but poor appWeather experts are great and bay area forecast is often very accurate. 1km model is awesome too. But the app and website are a nightmare to use. It’s not responsive, doesn’t work on safari, not always on chrome, full of ads, even with a pro account. I takes minutes to update a page, or to find the one we are looking for. ✓ Inconsistent between individuals appsThere are inconsistencies between mine and my friends reports. Even the free versions on both phones are way different. Plus, I lost access to a lot of meters recently after having the free version for almost 3 years, while my boyfriend still has access to them and also has the free version. I can’t see graphs or more than 2 days out. So now I have to rely on him to give me reports. But then the reports I do get are waaay different than his are and my other friends. I also have friends that pay for the pro version, and theirs are also inconsistent. I’m really disappointed, and I would definitely not pay the outrageous price for the pro membership after seeing the inconsistent readings..KitebettyVersion: 5.10

✓ Problem with appI’ve been using your app for bout 3 years. Over the last 6 months I’ve been having a lot of trouble getting the app to wrk correctly. When I’m in map view, and click on a weather site, and then try to view the actual wind real time, the graph does not open up. I get a blank screen. Very frustrating. ✓ Not amazingSubscription is misleading and difficult to cancel or upgrade. I paid for the lower subscription and decided to upgrade. It’s unclear to me weather I have just paid twice. Also I can not figure out on the app how to unsubscribe from automatic payments. Now they have decided that I have to have the pro package to view my local weather station, even though it was included in the plus package when I signed up. Finally got a response that they were having problems but they still don’t have it fixed. Had a problem early on when I forgot my login and that took weeks to get resolved. You may get lucky and have a free station somewhat nearby. Maybe. Didn’t use the forecasting (need to pay for it), classifieds are helpful but Craigslist can narrow down the sale area a little better.
