✓ IPad CAD done rightI had been playing with FormIt for over an hour making fun and interesting designs before even thinking of looking for the "help" button. Very intuitive, snappy response. Though not it's intended design, I am using it for designing sculptures and find it the easiest to use for my needs yet. Barely any learning curve. Syncs drawings to Autodesk's cloud service, which has a clunky interface. Haven't figured out how to export from Autodesk360 cloud to a file standard accepted by 3d printing services, would be great if they could clean up the workflow for that - again, not the intended design use of Formit, but since it's such a great cad program, pretty please make it easier for a novice to get a fabrication-service ready file out? I would happily pay for this app..Version: 4.0

✓ Amazing AppFormIt is just an amazing program that allows the user that spends a few hours fiddling with it to discover a new, fast way to create structures that look beautiful. I use FormIt in many ways but primarily to create perspective accurate shapes that are ultimately used in drawing/paint programs, like Procreate. I strongly encourage everybody to try this great piece of software to explore its vast capabilities..Version: 2022.0

✓ I’m not really sure why people are complaining... this is incredible.As a long time SketchUp user, yes, they have taken a different approach to the same kind of software. But within one day of use, I would argue, this is superior to sketchup make 17, at least so far as basic modeling goes. Yes it lacks some of the finer options that sketchup had... but given that this is on the iPad and sketchup best offering is a viewer. People are saying the interface is confusing. How? Compared to sketchup, sure, but then this relies on purely touch gestures and a pen, no mouse clicks, no modifier keys. As soon as you understand what each icon does, very well explained in the help menu (have any of you naysayers actually bothered to read the help documentation included?), this software is as easy, if not slight easier to use, than sketchup... And that’s without getting on to the garbage that is sketchups new approach to make, the online modeler. This is infinitely better than that. I highly recommend this, as someone that was using sketchup almost daily... yes, it seems a little confusing at first, but once you understand it, you’ll be flying through models..Version: 16.2
✓ Very goodI love this app, but I have a suggestion, I notice that you only have one view setting with outlines around the objects Keep the outlined view but add a view where you can see the objects without the outlines so it will look more lifelike..Version: 4.1
✓ Improved user experience.I've had my differences with this software in the past, but recently the designers have improved the gesture soup that used to plague it. Still fiddly in places, but over all the experience is much better. I can now create large models with less lag and the app has become much more stable in recent months. That's not to say it doesn't have it's moments, but they are sufficiently spaced in time to become less of an irritant. Over all this is a very good modelling app that lets you do much of what Sketchup does, but on an iPad. My only gripe is that it does not support more output formats, but the again, this is a workflow tool for Autodesk, not the general public and for that they are to be commended as it hits the nail on the head. It's odd that this app is only 102Mb and includes the ability to 3D model, but the Sketchup viewer at 200Mb only allows viewing of models, go figure. Well done Autodesk. Maybe they could have an add on that allows a paid option for output of more than one file type?.Version: 17.3

✓ 3dTerrainI don't know about the narrowing of early functionality, but... I think the ones present are enough, minding the scale for witch this app was conceived. People don't understand what user friendly means and I'm sure that a bunch of menus on 5" screen wouldn't help the sole porpoise that this app was build: volumetrics mind storming. If you "ComplaintJustForTheSakeOfItPeople" want a enhanced free 3d app, download open source, there's a bunch out there. Now I'll begin to place my requests :D - 3D terrains import - I don't mean like GE level of detail, less subdivided, but I think the elevation notion would be a winner for this app. Also I think some selection trick could be added to the hold selection functionality and, for me, it would be golden: 1touch - full volume selection , 2 touch- face/edge Congrats so far and keep it up simple ;).Version: 2.0

✓ Excellent but a little difficultAt last there is something that I can use on the Ipad for creating buildings and constructions. Choose any location on the map and make a whole new thing out of the place. Pros: First app to let you get a great 3-D view of what you are building for free. (Offset,mirror, manipulate edges, select points, translucent materials,etc.) With this said it seems like its only missing 15-20 functions from being something I could actually design with. ✓ Fantastic!I'm love this app. I use it all the time for school and it very impressive and easy to use compared to similar computer apps. I wish it had the ability to make the ground plane a white color to make it easier to hand render my models.
