iMUSCLE 2 IS A HIGHLY VISUAL, AWARD WINNING HEALTH AND FITNESS APP THAT HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO PLAN AND TRACK YOUR FITNESS PROGRAM.

NOTE: Not compatible with Macbook Pro (2008) or earlier due to graphics card limitations.

PREMIUM CONTENT:

iMuscle 2 provides users with the ability to zoom into an area on our 3D human body and tap on a muscle to reveal exercises and stretches targeted to the development and/or rehabilitation of that specific muscle. Once identified, just add it to a workout. The app also features our unique animations which provide direction on how to properly perform each exercise. In addition to individual users, iMuscle 2 was designed with multiple users in mind, making it ideal for fitness instructors and physiotherapists to use with their clients.

HOW TO USE:

1. To work on a particular body area, zoom into the area on our 3D model. Click on a muscle you want to work on and a thumbnail list of all the exercises associate with that muscle will be presented.

2. Select an exercise and you'll be shown an animated 3D model performing that exercise. You'll also see a written detailed description of how to perform the exercises. Primary and secondary muscles targeted will also be highlighted.

3. Add the exercise to a workout.

Very good, very innovative appI was looking for soemthing that would help me understand the muscular anatomy and what I’d be working with different weight-lifting exercises. iMuscle2 fit that requirement perfectly. While I have many resources for weight-lifting exercises, this app helps me keep straight in my head what body part I’m working with what exercise. I found that I was missing some from my workouts completely, like the rear deltoids. The app itself functions well, and is easy to navigate. The only problem I’ve had is that the application locks up if I close my laptop lid and then re-open it while the app is on the screen. That may just be my particular configuration. I have a MacBook Pro summer 2012. I’d recommend this app to anyone trying to get a handle on what exercises are for what muscle, and to better learn the muscular anatomy involved. Yes, it is not an encyclopedia of exercises for each bodypart, but the exercises provided are quite enough for starters. I’m very pleased with this inexpensive solution to my questions..WmhoggVersion: 3.9.1

Fabulous! Fabulous! Fabulous!I reviewed iMuscle prior to the update and although the review was generally positive, I lamented the absence of certain small muscles that are relevant to weight lifting. They are here as is so much more. The appearance of the model is cleaner and smoother. The rotation and zooming features are intuitive. The appearance of the program itself is polished and the lists of exercises will satisfy the novice and the experienced. Personal measurements and progress trackers are included. I don't use the social media features, but they are present for the interested. My only request (not really a complaint) would be the addition of trackpad pinch to zoom capability to a future version. I would also like a section labeling the muscular origins and insertions. The body mechanics of individual muscles is easier to follow when so labeled, I think. Overall, the program is great and the developer's responsiveness is evident. Who is this for: workout enthusiasts, both novice and advanced, for ease of use and customization capability. Olympic WeightliftingAs someone who frequently does three main compound lifts and Oly lifting, I feel their should be more research looked into them. Compound Lifts Deadlifting incorporates a lot of muscles then just leg muscles. Missing all back muscle development. Squat: Breaking it down to high bar squat and low bar squat would be better on your end. Also any benefits to the back are missing. Barbell Benchpress: More than likely missing some msucles worked on. Barbell Overhead Press is missing altogether. Olympic Lifting - Snatch The way you have animated the snatch is appalling. If humans were to try to lift it like that then there arms would break. I think whoever animated it has never done one or even been to a gym. And even the "Execution" of it is vague..AbwlprgVersion: 3.9.8
