✓ So much potential, but totally unreliable.Using the paid version, and find that the product simply isn't consistent and results in lost content and wasted hours. Brilliant concept, but poor performance all around. From opting out of email notifications, to constant failed attempts to publish recorded audio. At best, currently this product is a toy, rather than a professional service; in my experience. Lots of potential, however I cannot rely on performance..Version: 3.1
✓ Terrible Update to AppThis new update is not good. I was following a channel that had 3 years of context and this new update got rid of at least 2 years of postings/audios from the channel I follow. I can only view content from 2022 Nov until this date. It’s really sad. I’m very disappointed with this update. Mixlr please restore the old functions of this app as well as previous content posted by channels on the app. The app does look nicer aesthetically, but functionally this has downscaled..Version: 4.0.2
✓ What’s Going OnI’ve used this app almost everyday for YEARS!!! Now I’m getting the message regarding an active internet connection. I know I have a connection. I have reinstalled the app and still not working. I can listen from the webpage however but prefer the app..Version: 3.5.1
✓ Overall Great App...but since the latest update, it cuts part of your conversation when posted in chat room. It only happens via ipad app. The full chat can be seen on iphone app and web site..Version: 2.1
✓ Not accessible, not acceptable!Before this new update I was able to access the chat for the channels I follow. All of them provided a link that I could access a transcript of the program after the live program. After the latest version, chat function works only during the live program and that's all. Shameful that users with accessibility needs were not even an afterthought, when accessibility should be up front and by design. Seems like the focus on this release was to make things pretty but functionality was stripped down with zero consideration about users with accessibility needs. Please bring back access to all previous chats. We used to access chat from few months ago. Now I can't even see it 5min after the live program ends. You just deleted a whole lot of data to make a perfectly working app look pretty!!! Please fix this..Version: 4.0.0

✓ Why do I always have trouble uploading my profile picture.I would of gave it more stars but every so often I'm unable to change my profile picture for some asinine reason. ✓ Hate the update!A recent update was made and I hate it! Mostly-seeing who is joined in. All it shows now how many listeners. I could get past that but I despise that recordings go back only 3 months. Years of recording no longer accessible. Please fix this!!!.Version: 4.0.2
✓ Great but was my favorite till they changed itWas perfect always a good connection and could look at other apps and check texts, calendar,etc but now they have it fade out and you can't check stuff on your phone. Plus when I lock my phone it fades out and drops connection so you have to keep the app and phone open! Bummer hope they fix that bug/issue...Version: 1.3.7

✓ It works...It works fine until I answer a phone call. When I hang up from the call the app doesn’t resume playing. This gets pretty annoying. When I open the app after the call it’s constantly “loading” not playing. I have to close/reopen the app to get it to resume playing. Opening and closing “show reel” seems to wake it up in this situation too. It seems like a “refresh” etc button would be helpful. Also a “pause” button and a more predominant/easily assessable “play” button might make it more user friendly. I listen multiple hours daily and these little quirks get tiresome.Version: 3.4.2

✓ Not so good anymoreI used to find mixlr to be a good app because everything worked perfectly. However for what seems a couple or so years now not only does the sound mute unexpectedly with me requiring to go out then back into the app but also I can’t comment on my local football clubs mixlr live chat room because of an error saying that i am blocked from chatting. I can only listen to live matches. This needs sorting out..Version: 4.0.0
✓ Needs support for streaming SoundCloud playlistThis is a great app but it needs to have the functionality of broadcasting using SoundCloud playlist just like you can on the website. This would be a great feature as sometimes I'm on the go. I'm giving this a 3 star rating only because I want to be heard. Hopefully this feature will be added in the near future..Version: 1.2.1
✓ Don’t Like the New UpdateI have used Mixlr for several years and have enjoyed it. However, the new update does not allow you to view the followers of a profile or see comments posted on a profile. While I do like the skip 15 seconds option, I do not like this new version..Version: 4.0.6
✓ Needs some fine tuningIt’s a great app. I’ll start with that. I took 2 stars away for connectivity and esthetics. I hate, no matter how strong my connection is, that it’ll start buffering in the middle of what I’m listening to. And my last complaint is the lack of support for iPhone X, xs, and xs max. ✓ Not possible to record other than with the micAm a full time DJ wanting to stream live my sets but it's impossible to use a normal mini jack-Rca into the REC OUT to get the audio directly from the mixer. Each attempt resulted into the recording of my sets through the iPhone mic which results into poor quality and background noise (people taking). Nothing in the FAQ (did change the settings in privacy to allow the app to access the mic but still...). Too bad it was a good idea ....Version: 3.1

✓ Please bring back the old designI don't know why you would change something that worked just fine. This new app is complete garbage. I'm a broadcaster. I can't even tell if I'm recording or not now. That spinning circle thing is a joke. It spins and the timer always stops at 06 seconds. It's impossible to see your input levels and it's impossible to know if you're even broadcasting. Forget about the chat because that doesn't work either. Mixlr was the greatest thing ever until they decided to redesign the app. I use the app to broadcast but unfortunately it doesn't work at all now. AND my new shows are not appearing in my showreel. ✓ Early user come back?I was an early user of mixlr and decided to reinstall and look at coming back now that I have a weekly dj gig. After reinstalling it remained on a previous liked user and would not move past to access my account. So I restarted my device.. same issue.. so I uninstalled and downloaded the app again.. same issue. Seems like mixlr has become a bug monster. ✓ Mixlr on an iPhone 11Is the app going to be updated any time soon for the iPhone 11? Visually it doesn’t fill the top / button of the screen. And broadcasting / publishing has a number of errors. It is the same iOS version (13.3) as on my old iPhone 8, which worked fine. Errors include the sound quality means you can’t hear the voice (just a crackle), and a 1 hour plus broadcast has been published as 5 minutes long!!.Version: 3.2

✓ Failing to LoadI tried to open it three times, and it failed to load. It gave me an error message stating something about internet access, and retry. My Internet was obviously on, and I signed out of other apps that may be draining/overloading internet and stopping packages from reaching their destination. I deleted the Mixlr app, and downloaded it again, still... same thing. Otherwise Mixlr app has some good benefit that I’ve experienced. Thanks..Version: 3.3.1

✓ Good app, but upgrade needed.I like how you can broadcast live practically anywhere, as long as you’ve got an internet connection and in conjunction with Audiobus. And the app isn’t to buggy, simple to use. But it could do with updating and modernising. What does really bug me though isn’t the app itself, but some of the channels that broadcast. There’s no control over what’s broadcast in what group/genre. e.g. You go into Drum and Bass, and you find being broadcasted 80’s music or a religious sermon. It just makes it hard to find the music you like in the right genre. I get the feeling the makers of this app have given up on it. 😞.Version: 3.1
✓ Won’t connectThis app has been awful since their redesign. I use this app for one thing: to listen to a specific broadcast. After the redesign, it will not connect. The problem is not my phone or the internet connection, because I can listen to the broadcast on my laptop using the same connection, and I can also stream from something like Google Music on my phone over the same wifi connection. ✓ This app is nothing but problems.Most importantly, it crashes a LOT, stops playing and starts over from the beginning, has a terrible means of navigation in the timeline of audio, and more. The app's UI looks decent but kinda plain, there's not that many features (then again it IS free) ugh. I really expected more from this app. Download downcast if you're into podcasts. ✓ BugsIt is very difficult to navigate to specific time points on the recorded shows in showreels (better scrubbing control / fast forward / jump forward / time stamp preview, etc is needed). The app crashes and needs to be force quit often, but it doesn't remember the position where I was on a recorded showreel track, and it is very difficult to navigate back to the correct position. There isn't a quick way to view a list of who I'm following, so I have to search for them every time I want to check their showreel..Version: 1.4.3

✓ Showreel bugThe showreel is completely messed up, it will reset the show back to the beginning randomly. And won't play back until I close the app and open it back up. I've had to do this while commuting by bicycle several times and it really makes me hate this app. I will change to 5 stars once it is fixed. ✓ Used to be greatHas been neglected and isn’t suitable for newer devices. It’s a shame as the premise is good - but it is error strewn, the audio drops out, broadcasts are cut short and the app doesn’t even fill the screen with a keyboard from about 3 ios’ ago to boot.
