✓ New app better??The only reason I feel one star is a fair rating is the new app feature will not operate live race features on my older I pad but works well on my I phone 7. When I sign in with my I pad 10.3.3 v the sign in page arrives blank. Maybe can be fixed? The original app without sign in allowed me to listen and watch the live feature. Other wise Indy car app rocks! I grew up in Indiana attending the 500 as a kid in the 60's!.Version: 12.0.2
✓ New Update makes it unusable on iPadUsually a good app (though the iPad sizing for Live Timing makes it impossible to return to any other page without closing the app and reopening it). However, the last update has rendered it unusable. The whole screen/homepage is shaded out with no exit button because of what I assume is a cookies request window popping up outside the iPad screen limits. Update: App has been updated with bug fixes. Nothing has changed. Update-1st July: No change Update-22nd July: Shock horror, no change. Update-12th Aug - Still can’t use during race. Had it open waiting for live timing to be made available. The blocking window appeared the moment live timing kicked in and made the whole app unusable..Version: 13.5.6
✓ Love IndyCar - Terrible App FormatingView of articles should be full screen not confined to one side. As it is, the print is too small. Can’t switch from landscape to portrait view. Can’t change font or page size. I’m a huge IndyCar fan, my vision isn’t as good as when I was younger, so I often choose to not view the app because of eye strain. Other issues: We were told this would be much better because of NTT, but it appears that all they did was change the Verizon logo to NTT. Often, the article I pick isn’t the one that populates..Version: 12.0.1
✓ F***ing updatesGet ready to install 4 “mandatory updates” every week! Look at the update history - I’m not exaggerating. The app won’t let you simply look at anything without first updating it EVERY TIME you open it. Easier just to go to the website than use this app..Version: 13.5.4
✓ Glitchy but good contentUsed to be better, it looks better in design than it did last year but it’s still very glitchy. Most of the time when I open it I have to restart it to get it to work, and some pages like the photo page have a lot of problems. I love using it for timing, radio, and onboard cameras, so I hope it continues to improve to be as functional as it used to be..Version: 13.5.6

✓ Lack of infoThe app and information don’t provide the data I’m looking for. Just tried to look at the final line up for Laguna. Nice the list the summary for each session but no summary. ✓ What has happened to this appHave used this app for several years and would have rated it very good to excellent. But something happened in 2023 and it’s become basically unusable. It started of freezing and getting stuck. Now I find that I have to delete and reinstall every single time I open the app. It’s like they’ve just quit caring? ✓ Why?IndyCar, why do you wait until the season starts to work on the app? This app has had an update everyday this week. It still looks terrible on my brand new iPad Pro. -Timing and Scoring was a mess on practice day. -The broadcast times are listed in Eastern Time, where the “Event Details” times are listed in Central Time. -The driver bio pages are blank. If you click on the headers within the bio page, you’ll get minimal info. But who would do that, the page is blank? -Stats are sparse, I mean really sparse. It’s impossible to move around in the stats, unless you open a Safari window. NTT Data, the title sponsor for the series is a data and software company. For that reason, I would expect this app and the information contained in the app to be much more useful!.Version: 13.3.2

✓ Update required every time it’s used…Maybe it’s my own experience, but every single time I open this app, a mandatory update is required. For all the years I’ve used apps, I’ve never had one that so consistently needs updating. This is frustrating, especially when you are at a track and want to make use of the app. C’mon!.Version: 13.5.2
✓ The worst most useless app I’ve ever seen…Every time I try to use this I have to go to apps and sign in ,is there ever a time when I won’t have to log in … there are no National Security issues in the app what’s the problem!! Every time there’s a race on Tv it seem your app is so screwed up … Maybe Roger needs to try getting info and news and see how amateur this is….I’ve been an Indy Car Fan sine the early 70’s …. ✓ Go Back ! PLEASE !!I hate it. Please go back to what it looked like last year. Not user friendly. Doesn’t flow. Hard to find basic info that was easy on prior versions. No visually pleasing either. I could go on …… Update June 25. Please fix this !!! The app will go to a completely white screen and unable to open. I must delete App and reinstall it almost every Day. ✓ Short sighted deliveryPretty weak from an advertising perspective to allow only Verizon users full access to the app, really doesn't help promote the series or it's sponsors. Also allow for more than one favourite driver but this is minor in comparison..Version: 11.0.0
✓ Let’s fix thisThe font on the mobile site is so small, why can’t it be enlarged? Completely impossible to see at the track, especially the leaderboard. Allow us to swipe to make it larger. Why no direct way to contact you? And WHEN do we get a scanner company that actually supports fans at the track like RE did sometimes ? ✓ It use to be greatI don’t know what they did to this app but now it is worthless. I used it in the past and it was great. I could watch live practice, qualifying and the race and see positions and times. Now it barely works. On my iPad it continually locks up and shows a blank screen. I can get timing screen like they use to have showing cars on the track. Now it is a jumbled mess. It is the old adage “ better is the enemy of good enough”. This is not good enough..Version: 13.4.8

✓ Sad coverageWhy is it every year the coverage of Indy qualifications gets worse? We get to watch less than 50 minutes of the excitement and then less after watching commercials throughout that 50 minute coverage. I have been to the race 14 times since 2000 and this is getting annoying. I hope the deal with NBC pays you very well because I'm not sure my interest will continue to be as high. ✓ Worst App EverI don’t know where to start this app is so bad. Last year’s app was much better. I wish I could delete it, but it may allow me to follow the Indianapolis 500 somewhat on race day. This is not a today problem, I deleted this app once before. There is no up to the minute news, no updates, no commentary. Something is happening on Bumpday afternoon but I can probably read about tomorrow in USA Today. You can’t get any updates in the App. Formula one and NASCAR have way better apps. ✓ Look at all these recent reviews!They are all correct! This app isn’t good at all! You need to ditch the whole format and start over! I’m a diehard Indycar fan, so I know about most things going on already without having to use the app. But whenever I’ve tried to use it, it’s basically useless! It sure won’t help in gaining future fans! Try being more like the Indycar website! Like putting in a better live timing and scoring feature! ✓ Great Content, Horrible LayoutI have long enjoyed the excellent reportage on the IndyCar app. The extra features, including data on the drivers, teams, races, and tracks, are a nice bonus – as is the detailed background information on the sport and its rules. But recently the web designers have unwittingly ruined the app. It is now impossible to read news articles and size them on your iPad or iPhone. Instead, the app controls your screen space. There are wide columns of menus down the left-hand side that won’t disappear. I cannot read the articles anymore without first hunting for a pair of reading glasses or a magnifying glass. In fact, I don’t even bother anymore – I have stopped reading the app because it is so annoying..Version: 12.1.5
✓ This app is killing my enthusiasm for IndyCarThere is no worse app in motor racing - it stalls, doesn’t allow you to go back and forth between pages without losing the live audio during events and is generally user unfriendly. In addition, your blocking the app when an event is on Peacock is inexcusable - especially for those of us who can’t get Peacock (even if we wanted to). ✓ IPad app useless during Indy 500I love IndyCar, and the iPhone app is generally fine, but the iPad app has been suffering from neglect all year. It’s been updated repeatedly over the last couple weeks, but even after updating just before the race, the app is completely non-functional. Start it up and it immediately goes grey, like it’s trying to load an add that won’t load. Trying to keep track of the race on the iPhone during commercial breaks isn’t ideal, but the app at least works..Version: 13.5.2
