✓ Lock?This version of Cambush is working well, but I can no longer lock it so no-one can disable it. Oh Frank, if your stuff is upside down, try turning your device the other way! I love it. ✓ It does work. Other reviewers are idiotsI wasn't planning on reviewing this app. But I just so happened to come across it in the App Store and out of curiosity I looked at the reviews. I don't know what problems other people have had but it works well for me. There is no shortage of crap apps in the App Store but this app doesn't fall under that category. I've had it on my 4s for well over a year. Probably more like two years. I don't use it much but when I do it works. Motion activated recording with an optional high pass filter and adjustable sensitivity controls. Even has a "Rick Roll" setting that I won't spoil for you. Just turn it on if you get the app. If I had to guess, I'd say that the reviews claiming it doesn't work are from reviewers who maybe have some issues with paranoia who have convinced themselves of something despite the lack of motion activated recordings being recorded therefore it must be the app that is broken and not their mind. Who knows but the bottom line is that it does work..Version: 2.1.1

✓ Does what it says it doesSet the phone up, pushed the on button within the app and when my pup moved it started recording and automatically stopped about 10 seconds after pup stopped moving and then automatically saved the video to my picture folder. ✓ Exactly what motion capture app should be!I bought this as a quick/easy alternative to buying a dedicated video camera setup, most are over $150. I needed to be able to watch my cats to see if they are behaving badly overnight. I had this app downloaded and testing it within minutes. The motion detection is really good even in mediocre lighting. I like that you can fine tune the settings. I put it on high sensitivity and had 200 videos shot overnight - most were duds but I did see my cats in a few of them. Tonight I’ll turn the sensitivity down so I only have to view a handful of hopefully the right videos. The videos also did not take up a lot of space. I was worried I would use all my empty space, but even on lowest quality I barely hit 1GB of short videos. I’m happy it worked as advertised. I have looked through the App Store for this kind of app and most of them seem to be junk or have not been updated in 3 years. This one is current and works great. It’s simple, easy to use, and works without a lot of extra fluff. Thanks for a great app!.Version: 3.0.3

✓ Cool bird watching app :)Using CamTrap in conjunction with DropBox to watch birds in my garden on an old 64Gb iPhone 5 ... in an OtterBox case & hooked up to a USB battery pack attached to a fence via a Joby smartfone grip. Had some issues with DropBox sync due to poor WiFi but installed the DropBox app as well, now all works well. CamTrap & DropBox work together to cache the captured video clips then upload them when in range of WiFi. Particularly impressed by the quality of the footage and the sensitivity of the app. Sensing then capturing a bird in flight before it leaves the field of view is possible with CamTrap .. no mean feat. ✓ Great application I love it.I love the fact that it does what it says, it also records in all resolutions, I love recording in 1080p. One suggestion would be to add picture snaps triggered by movement, if it detects movement, it would be nice for it to be able to snap a picture of the object avery second, or even better, have that as an option in the settings so that we can decide how fast it snaps pictures. ✓ Black Screen Great!This app did just what I wanted it to do. Take video when I leave my area to see who is messing with my stuff. On power saver mode it does this with a black screen, not alerting the perp. Also uses the screen side camera. I prop it up, pointed where I want, plug the headphones in, start it and walk away. ✓ No telltale sign that it's recordingI looked at the other motion detector apps, and it seems that this is the only one where there are no telltale signs like the red light on the screen when the screen is turned off in the power save mode. Works as described. The settings menu is accessed by those three lines at the bottom right corner of the screen. The only settings that are important are the sensitivity, the idle time, in the Power Save. The sensitivity should be left at 80%; if it is set to very high like 100%, the noise in the camera sensor is enough qualify as motion and to keep the app on. The idle time is the length of time the the app will continue recording after it has stopped detecting any motion. The power save when turned on will make the screen go black. This is great when you are using the screen-side camera so that it is facing the room (it's easy to point and frame the scene that way). All videos taken are found in the camera roll. By the way, yes, you have to turn the app on for it to start its motion detector surveillance. One note: when you use the screen side camera, the video comes out "mirror image". Some thing to fix in the next update?.Version: 2.0.2

✓ Instant StartFrom looking at the reviews the current version has gone through some serious updating. I click Bushcam, tap start -- that is it. I now can lay my iPhone down aimed at any target area and walk away using either the front or back camera. If my iPhone is moved, some one walks by, the door opens, any movement in its view, starts the camera silently rolling. If someone finds my iPhone they can not read my mail or even view my desktop but the camera is still silently rolling while they pass it around or look at it. They can't stop the camera unless they set it down and go away. When I return and open my iPhone Bushcam stops and I can view all the videos taken while I was out of the room. Great with remote access because you can see videos in your camera roll..Version: 2.1.1

✓ Works great!Set up my iPad overnight to figure out how Eek the mouse gets in and out of the kitchen. Left the kitchen light on overnight and plugged in the device. Set the sensitivity to high. Rewarded with 79 video segments of 3 to 25 seconds between midnight and 5:30 am. Most were of Eek exploring for and eating crumbs on the floor. The most valuable showed him darting under the dishwasher and cabinet drawers. He climbed up the drawers like a ladder to the counter. The motion detector did not begin quite early enough to show him emerge, but that is okay, we know enough. The video was good enough to post an amusing minute on Facebook. Next we can set up the Tin Cat, which will capture Eek harmlessly, then we put barriers on his secret entries. Thanks a million!.Version: 3.0.3
