✓ No seller protectionI have received extremely bad service from Vinted and I think sellers need to be cautious when selling. I sold an item which was damaged in the post, the buyer was refunded meaning I lost my money for the item. Luckily, it wasn’t an expensive item but it made me think of what would happen if it was. I followed their selling procedure and the item was well wrapped using bubble wrap and fragile written on the packaging. The buyer sent me a message saying the item was well wrapped and that it was the delivery companies fault but Vinted still took the money from me and offered no explanation other than “improper packaging” which wasn’t true. In addition to this, items take months to sell and buyers want everything for under £3. It’s not the best selling platform I’ve ever used and I’m really disappointed that as a buyer I have financially lost out due to damages in transit. Just really grateful that the item wasn’t expensive. I would be very reluctant to use this site to sell anything further..CLOLN88Version: 22.46.3

✓ Needs categorisation improvementOverall it's a good app - cheaper and more reliable than depop. I really appreciate that you are auto-refunded if the seller doesn't ship within one week so you don't have to chase them up yourself and go through the dispute process. I use this app a lot for shoes and homeware specifically, however it's very difficult to buy clothes on here because the sizing options are limited to letter sizes, and there doesn't seem to be any seperation between men's and women's items, so there have been several times I have ordered what i believed to be a men's medium - because I was in the 'men's clothing' category, and received something far too small and clearly meant for women. Please make it so that a) clothes can be listed as numbered sizes, like 32, 12 etc, and make it so that women's items are not shown when you have specifically filtered for men's. I would also appreciate a way to exclude search terms - for instance, when I search for an iPhone 11 phone case, I want to be able to exclude cases listed as being for the 11 pro or pro max.MoocowfaceVersion: 23.28.1

✗ Not workingConstant error messages and app freezes/crashes all the time. Today I cannot access my account at all. Something logged me out of the app (not me, every other app on my phone is working fine) when I try to login app freezes. Customer service is… well… computerised? Even if you get through to a real person you get the same messages generated by a computer. Useless if you really need help with something. They can also take money from your balance as they please, refund the buyer without you even knowing. If you buy anything you got 2 days to confirm you received it etc, after that transaction is considered completed (if anything goes wrong after that you on your own, they just tell you to contact police or try to resolve the issue yourself) If you using the app use it carefully. Most popular items on sell are scams 😕 Vinted deletes many of them but not all! Always ask for extra photos of something specific to be sure, or stick to accounts with 10-15 positive reviews at least. Don’t keep money in your Balance, payout regularly, ideally straight after transaction is completed. They have £700-£1000 selling threshold limit, after that they lock your balance (you cannot pay it out) until you pass their ID verification. Then you free to withdraw your balance. Sometimes it takes a while for them to verify you though. There are certainly other more reliable & customer focused places to buy or sell clothes online..Mike108108Version: 23.20.0

✗ Report Vinted to Apple!The customer service is abysmal!! So bad that I have reported Vinted to Apple. If you are experiencing this type of customer service, as many of the reviewers have stated, I implore you to report Vinted to Apple too. As a seller, I did not receive any protection from their CS team over a package not delivering to a customer. Like another reviewer stated, I can attest to the perfunctory replies and platitudes by their CS team. Vinted offered me no guidance and put the whole burden on me when I have the slightest clue on how to do it. They provide the labels and have all the records I need to file a claim with the postal service. This shipping process is a primary and CRITICAL FUNCTION of Vinted, yet I got zero support. I too have had past issues with bumps like some of the other reviewers. Once I sort out this USPS nightmare all BY MYSELF, I am deleting this app once and for all.
