✓ Great for a lover of old radioGot the app today, and the first 5 Free Books where either not free or unavailable. I then tried the old show from the 50’s Texas Rangers etc, tested a few and the sound quality was excellent. Tried playing one once I turned off internet and it still played, so I’m loading up on a bunch to listen to on a 23 hour drive (find radio stations fade in & out). So overall some good content but may have to search for it..Version: 4.17

✓ Love the concept but disappointing in functionThe app sticks at a certain point and doesn’t allow you to start from where you finished last. Doesn’t matter whether you’ve listened to 3 hours it freezes at 0 or 1:12.39 seconds for example. So you only get to hear from beginning or 1:12.39. If you fast forward to where you were it goes back to zero. Upsetting..Version: 4.14

✓ Complete Misleading Scam of a TitleI was very excited when I downloaded this app, because everywhere I looked it said “free” audiobooks. That is most certainly not the case. Every audiobook that I was interested in was either “unavailable” OR they tried to CHARGE me $17 for! That is not “free”. They make it sound as if the vast majority of the audiobooks that they have available are free but they are definitely not. There is no way that I’m keeping this app and I would recommend that you don’t even bother with it either. I’ve had it with all these audiobook apps pretending that they are free and then the only free audiobooks they have available are duds that I’ve never even heard of. I’ll stick with Hoopla and Overdrive, thank you. If I could rate this lower than one star, I would..Version: 4.11

Librivox search page gets stuck sideways though, regardless of whether you turned your phone or not and no matter which way you turn your phone then, it stays that way. ✓ DisappointmentI’ve noticed lately that audio book apps will say they’re fee when in fact they are not. There may be a few, possibly twenty at the most of really old books (not even classics) for free. And the rest of the app is simply trying to get you to buy and or pay for the books you’re actually looking for. This is one of those apps. I come back to this app once or twice a year and each time I regret it. The app is slow, it takes a while to load and it glitches, (thanks to it being a free app you also will get ads). Ugh, but this app doesn’t even have a free section! It’s free radio or books being read live. And any book you’re actually looking for to listen to you have to pay for (or truthfully any book on this god forsaken app) I HIGHLY do not recommend this app, it’s a lie. ✓ Well that was underwhelmingI can’t believe I paid $20 for an audiobook that downloaded all as one track instead of in chapters (which, via my library’s app, this same audiobook IS in chapter segments) AND it doesn’t auto save my spot. Because, who doesn’t love trying to find your place in a 12 hour track by random scrolling or bumping forward in thirty seconds segments? I like that you can purchase a single audiobook without a subscription. That’s the only good thing I can find about this app. Even the search tool to find the book I wanted sucked. ✓ Unexpected..I paid $2 for the premium version.. still wasn't able to listen to the 'paid' books. Paying for it only removed the ads. ✓ Absolutely horrid.There’s about 10 books that are free, and 7 of them are “10 minute intro to *different language*” just pay for a book at a store or get Audible. ✓ It’s keep crashing!!!???I really enjoy the librivox entries and listened to the whole Oz series read by Phil Chenevert which was awesome. It’s like a series of Ted Talks on the topic with each person recounting their experience. ✓ Hmmm...I downloaded this app so I could listen to kids books that I didn’t have a home but all the kids books were on the store for prices like £5.99. I sent feedback to the creators hoping that they would add more modern kids books to the app. Let’s hope they do! Overall great app if you want to read books that are quite old.Version: 4.13
