What is Reading Roo: Read Text Aloud? Description of Reading Roo: Read Text Aloud

Want to read English, Spanish or French books but can’t?

Reading Roo can help and will turn any page from a book or text based document (like worksheets) into a fun interactive reading activity. Parents simply scan and digitize English, French or Spanish text, kids tap on the text, and the app will read the words aloud while magically highlighting the words.

Create an immersive experience by recording you and your child reading the story and personalizing the voice over with your own inflection and tone. Listen to your voiceover and watch your kids beam with excitement as they hear your voices spoken out loud. This will generate so much enthusiasm for reading, they will beg you to scan more pages.

Develop your daily reading routine with the 'On This Day in History' feed and delve into incredible historical narratives, events and influential figures.

RECORD YOUR VOICE
Anyone can record a narration. Great for military or traveling parents, aunts/uncles and grandparents who want to be part of a child’s reading activities.

READING ASSESSMENT
A built-in reading assessment helps take a snapshot of the child’s reading capabilities. Parents and guardians can monitor the child's reading proficiency, completeness and fluency and offer help in areas that need improvement.

DIGEST INFORMATION
Reading Roo’s text to speech capabilities offer kids an effective way to digest information. This is especially valuable for kids with learning disabilities like dyslexia.

SAFE ZONE
Reading Roo is a no ad, no social distractions zone. Parents and kids can focus on having fun reading.
