✓ Perfect!So because of the new focus modes, I decided to add a new watch face that kicks on when my Bluetooth connects. Obviously that face was going to have Spotify, YouTube, podcasts etc. the one that got me though, was the lack of a YouTube complication, and one for the “Now Playing” app. I know they usually pop up, but if you go into your watch for anything else, it’s hard to get back. Well, PROBLEM SOLVED! I know that’s long winded, but the bottom line is, this app does exactly what I need to (as advertised), and didn’t even cost anything. ✓ Well done and badly neededThis is a handy and needed complication to add to all watch faces. So far it works better and more reliably than the Apple or Spotify complication or app and for me only one that reliably can control volume on the devices I stream to. Only a few inconsistent actions. Sometimes it offers the AirPlay icon other times not. Also, sometimes if I switch apps or playlist it hesitates to change track name that is playing. I’ve been using a third party Apple Music app to play my music and not being able to put it on my infographic watch face has been annoying to no end. My only slight complaint is that I wish the ‘now playing’ text on the complication changed to show the name of the song like the official Apple Music one does. ✓ Hacky but usefulThe functionality is clearly limited in part by apple’s restrictions and fragmentation, but it’s still a useful add for three reasons: 1. It lets me jump to now playing for any app I listen from (I use a few) from any watch face 2. It “remembers” what I was playing far longer than the built in now playing feature. It’s crazy that if I pause audio for a few minutes my phone and watch make me go back into the audio app to restart, npp remembers. 3. Apple Watch apps for some audio players (overcast, castro) don’t work great, npp always works My only request would be to add the track name of whatever’s playing to the complication.EggmasterVersion: 1.0.1
