✓ UpdateThis was one of my favorite app, unfortunately the update made it impossible to check the previous or future moons without paying (as well as other needed options). The design is a little old and if I was gonna pay for something perhaps I would look into something else. Nonetheless, this is a very good app for your basic moon needs. ✓ Two StarsThis was one of the better moon phase apps around until the Iceland Holiday advert appears every time you switch screens. I don’t mind the occasional ad but one every time you use a function is very frustrating. App deleted..Version: 5.01

✓ Wish I had never wasted $ 2.99 plus taxesWish I had never wasted $ 2.99 plus taxes for this so-called premium features. Also it doesn’t remove ads at all and now a pop up message appears on my screen whenever I try to open the app asking what kind of ads I wanna see if they can keep tracking my behaviors and tailor making ads or just randomly choose what to show me. Unbelievable. This hassle was not there without the premium features I bite my hands and freaking resent having wasted even just one buck in this nonsense. Awful. Awful. Awful..Version: 5.8.1
✓ GreedyThis app used to be absolutely amazing. The best feature was the look ahead. You could look years in advance to see what the moon would be doing. Recently they made nearly all features, including future view only accessible with payment. They also introduced pop up ads. The app is useless now, all the information on it I can get with a quick google search. Was a great app. Not so much anymore..Version: 5.05

✓ Not badThis is not a bad app. The free version gives you the basic info you want while keeping ads to a small banner at the bottom with an occasional annoying popup. It's not a great app because it is sorely in need of better graphic design and UI. One small nit to pick is it's confusing to me to have moonset listed before moonrise. However, I guess with this last update they made it to where you have to “unlock” with premium the ability to CHANGE THE MONTH OF THE CALENDAR... how ridiculous is that?! it’s been nice using this app but I refuse to pay for a feature I’ve been using for years now. ✓ Intrusive advertisingShame about the ads. Ads pop up continuously and don’t close so I can’t even use the app. Features like rise & set, future and location would be helpful... but ads that don’t close prevent me from accessing them. 1000 thumbs down for you. App deleted 👎.Version: 5.01
✓ Watch out for ‘adult’ pop up ad!Response to developer comments 2: Your privacy policy doesn’t address any of my points whatsoever. To repeat myself: 1. This app was installed on a brand new iphone, weeks old, all cookies are turned off in my settings, an ad blocker is installed and advertising profiles reset to prevent profiling. I don’t use Facebook or any other social media. 2. I do not visit adult websites on this phone, previous phone, or any other device, or use any such app, not least of the kind advertised. Given the nature of the ad, for you to continue to suggest this rather than concede that there being an issue on the advertising end is downright insulting. 3. I repeated the nature of the offending ad here only in the hope you might recognise the offensive nature of it, take the complaint seriously, and take steps to investigate the issue so it doesn’t recur. You mention the inappropriateness of discussing the content of the ad here: as I have a young child interested in astronomy and we sometimes look at astronomy apps together, you can also perhaps understand why I am upset that an X rated ad popped up on YOUR app that my child almost saw, that you now seem to refuse to take responsibility for. Can you now finally take steps to check with advertising providers how this can happen and ensure it is not repeated, whether for me or any other unwitting user? Response to developer comments 1: What you say cannot be the explanation, as I installed this app on a brand new iPhone, which has *never* been used to access any “adult” material whatsoever. That I can state categorically. And before you suggest it, no-one else has access to my phone. Besides which, the offending advert is to find “mature women” to “lay”, not something I have looked up on any platform in my entire life! ——- Ok, it gives some basic info, but a rather mediocre app compared to the others on offer. Watch out for the full screen ads that are inflicted on you when you touch another tab....now showing ads for an ‘adult’ site, so not a family friendly app....Version: 4.02
