✓ No warning that you have to subscribeThe app will show you sunrise and sunset times as well as the solstices and equinoxes. Very basic functions, but toy have to subscribe to use the calendar function. This is not shown up front (i.e. in app purchases) and specifically what i was looking for. Not worth $10 a year. ✓ Ad Plagued and Features RemovedThis used to be a great app. But it’s now riddled with spam and adverts, and you’re unable to look at the sunset times in any other calendar month except the current. This used to be possible until it was put behind the premium paywall. Now, even if it’s the 31st August, you can’t see the sunset time on the 1st September without paying. Disappointing demise of an otherwise great app. Will be removing it after years of use..Version: 3.00

✓ Ridiculous costI used to have this a while back because the data was free. Now they are charging for each month. Seems like a really steep cost for something so basic. ✓ Not recommended! Deleting this appIt used to allow you to see beyond the current month. Now they just want your money for basic information. ✓ Don’t waste your moneyThis is a simple app that you shouldn’t have to pay for. The free version is ok but there has to be better out there. And the amount of money they want you to pay for the information given is obscene. They aren’t offering information that you can’t find easily a million other places and the way it’s presented doesn’t justify the cost either. ✓ Charges $2/month for super basic info, not worth itThe free version of this app does nothing more than weather apps I already have. If you want something more useful, you have to subscribe. I would be fine with a small onetime payment, but this is not available, despite the authors previous claims. You have to subscribe. ✓ Almost useless to meI would give this app at least three stars except that the frequency and types of ads are unacceptable. Even though I consider it to be a little high, I would buy the ad free upgrade except that it has NO WATCH COMPLICATION. I’m not making that up. You read that right, it has no watch complication. ✓ Have to pay to see into the future???I have loved this app for years to plan out early morning runs. I have loved having the ability to search a month (or more) out to see when the sun will rise or set. All of the sudden I’m being asked to pay to see future sunsets. I have gladly watched the ads and waited patiently but this is disappointing. I can’t imagine paying $2.99 a month to get content that can be found elsewhere for free. ✓ No settings to show times on locked screenThis is a great app for seeing the sunrise and the sunset timings and I have been looking for something like this for a while. Well done for this. I would consider buying the premium version if I can see these times on the locked screen so I don’t have to unlock my phone. ✓ There should be a one time feePaying $1.99 a month isn’t worth it to see sunrise and sunsets for the whole year. The only good feature that I really like is that it tells you how many hours of daylight are left and when the first light is and the last light. It’s very disappointing for the price. As far as the equinox, you can find that on any calendar. You have no way to preview all features it unless you pay for it. I canceled it right after..Version: 5.1.0

✓ Polluted by adsUseful for seeing sunrise and sunset around the world. However, it is polluted by ads to the point where I had to close a popup every 30 seconds, and the useable app area was sometimes restricted to half of my phone screen. Additionally, I couldn’t see a way to view sunrise/sunset in the local time zone.
