Eric's All-in-1 Solitaire Pros

✓ Good but not Great, Well, I Was WrongRevised 10/3/14 Si I got the game and started to play. There are some differences from the older version, but all in all it is an excellent group of games. All the shortcuts are there. You can play at whatever pace you please. The one difference is there is no way to “Start Over”. You must Command Z to get back to the beginning, which is a minor inconvienience. These are some fun, facinating, well done games. 9/4/14 You certainly get lots of good games but there are no keyboard shortcuts that I can find. In the old versions you could start a new game with “Command N” or undo with “Command Z”. This oversight makes the games much slower..Los WoxVersion: 1.0.2

✗ Looking for a reason I paid so much...I’ve come up disappointed with other Free Cell apps, but since they all cost less than $2.00, I thought springing for the $19.00 version might be the solution. It’s a fine game, but other than offering muptliple other card game options (most of which I’ve never heard of nor will ever play), it’s basically no different than the others that cost a couple of bucks. My main complaint is that I want a “cheat” option, where if you hold down the control key, you can move more cards than spaces allow. I also don’t like that my Aces jump to the top with a new deal before I can even see the deal. I want subsequent cards to jump, but I’d like to start a game with all the cards in place. The backgrounds are unremarkable. In the “wiggle” option, cards need to wiggle a little less so at to be less distracting. I’d be happy with this app if I’d paid $5.00. Having paid $20, I’m wondering WHY?.ImcathVersion: 1.0.2

✗ Hard to useI am running this on a mac pro and find it difficult to use. The mouse click to move cards either does almost nothing when automatic play is off or does unpredictable things when automatic play is on. I typically build long stacks of cards while working out a problem, and this app collapses long stacks so that they are unreadable. The user design does not make much use of the actions available to the user (right click, left click, double click, etc.) so there is little to choose from when deciding how to proceed. The desginer clearly has good information about the game at hand - witness the signal that says whether the game is winnable, but none of htat information is used to assist the user in working with the game. I prefer a program that thinks along with me, keeping up with my understanding of the game situation an giving me the reasonable options. I often go back to previous moves to retry different options. This program offers only two ways to do that: redeal or go back one move. There are many other possibilities which would speed up play, but none are available. So, I am retiring the game..PetermriceVersion: 1.0.2
