✓ ScammedI’ve been receiving possibly the same approach Kath has reported. Since paying for my protection late in 2022 I’ve received daily warnings “ Final warning - protection has expired” . Prompting me to renew it at a discounted rate etc....Version: 7.4

Except....I really like the McAfee Security however, there are some very annoying issues: 1) when protecting more than one device a) had to install several times on each device to get that device to show up in my list of protected devices. Also, the labels aren’t the same as the names I gave them 2) Account homepage still lists duplicate devices when you get a new subscription-still haven’t found a way to delete the devices from expired/previous subscriptions Overall, the actual product is the best in my opinion. Although it takes a bit of finesse to get things organized so you really know your devices are protected using the exact same subscription and its parameters. McAfee needs to streamline this process and let people know to install the software on your Pc FIRST. Then from that Pc, send msgs to your other devices. This way all/everything is in the same place to be administered. If you do not do it this way, it’s all confusing and your list of protected devices won’t be right..Version: 3.0.3

✗ Limited phone network use this yearFor most of this year I haven’t been able to use most of my apps unless I was on wifi. After trying many different steps to rectify the issue over many months I finally deleted this security app which resulted in return to full use of my phone on my phone network. Need to test your app against new apple updates (I presume that’s why my access changed) to ensure you aren’t blocking use..Version: 4.10.1
✗ Not compatible with AppleAfter I contacted support I’ve been told they know about the issues on apple products but unfortunately those issues are still not solved after months. There are issues when it turning off real time scanning automatically and it’s hard to switch on as the whole software crashing all the time. Sometimes I can’t even open it. On the mobile version same. All the time I’m logged off without reason. I’m also bit disappointed they advertise on website VPN but the thing they not support VPN for Mac I’ve got after I contacted support after purchase. VPN on mobile not optimal as well. I went to dodge web got fake notifications and have to restart mobile. But the same web I tried with different antivirus was blocked straight away.Version: 6.6.0
