Changed My LifeDuring lockdown I went through a depression period where I stopped doing any exercise as all my sports clubs were closed, this lead to me stopping eating and hating my body. One day I decided to do something about it so I downloaded this app. I’m happy to say that it was one of the best decisions I’v ever made, from doing these workouts during lockdown it lead to me starting running again, and I started eating properly once more. For example, with the other apps you actually have to wait a least a week for it to show improvement, but with this app you don’t have to wait at all. After one ☝️ workout 🏋️‍♂️ there is improvement. The first one I did was a ab workout 🏋️ and I could definitely tell because, one my stomach got smaller, and two there where ab lines on my stomach. But before you do a workout MAKE SURE YOU STRETCH or……. Your body will hurt 😔 and you DON’T want that feeling. You can choose what kind out workout you want by scrolling to the top. There are different levels. So if you just started working out click beginner. If your used to it and have been doing for a few more then click intermediate. Weight lossAs a result from COVID-19 I am a year 9 student who is getting assessments all the time to help me for my next academic year. During home learning i was so busy i had no time to do nothing as revision etc. I started eating a lot if junk food that made me fat. I got depressed from my weight but after using this app for 1-2 months i have been seeing changes in my weight from a scale and seeing the physical change to. You can select different levels which is always good as i am advancing in this app as i am back to school now. The app has a board on how much your doing and thats one of the most significant features on this app as it builds up my self esteem. I love this app as it has all the features an app that would cost £100 a month would have. This app is amazing and i would always give the best rating. The bestI sat around for weeks and told myself i was going to start going on daily walks outside/around my neighborhood. Everyday, i would have the same excuse that i didn’t have enough time. Finally, i started downloading a bunch of different “workout from home” apps hoping that would motivate me more to do something. All the others you had to pay for a subscription to even access half of the workouts and they aren’t very easy to navigate. Most of them, the workouts are either 1) not free 2) too hard to do 3) don’t explain how to do them well enough 4) don’t focus on the areas you specifically want to improve, or all of the above. 7minutes is by far the best workout app and so useful! It’s completely free, it targets what areas you want to work on, and let’s you choose what fitness level experience you are. Within the first few days my legs and abs were burning because the workouts were so effective! The app is so descriptive in what to do and easy to use. Best of all, it’s only seven minutes. So it’s a mental game that makes you feel like you have to do it because there’s no excuse for not having a free 7 minutes in the whole day where ever you’re at!.Version: 4.0.1

Best Workout App!!!I’ve had this App since it came out. It doesn’t cost you anything and it gives you a really good workout. You can save your favourites or create your own. WowOmg I love it already! I’m 11 years old so obviously can’t spend loads on a workout app so I downloaded this one because I love fitness and I’m not doing it at school at the min because of lockdown and even though they are setting us work,it’s not very challenging so I downloaded this and it’s amazing! All you have to do is watch a short ad before each workout but that’s fine with me if it means that you don’t have to pay to get a workout. I love this app.The new update was really awesome because I love listening to music while I work out and it made it so easy. I also really like the app because you can choose your workout. Perfect morning pick up!I am a full-time professor with four boys, each who play soccer and are involved in many school activities. My time is limited. However, my self-care is critical. These seven minute workout give you options on which body part to work: the arms, the abs, cardio… It’s perfect for what I need in the morning when a quick workout is necessary. Some days, when time permits, I couple days with a 10 minute yoga stretch and meditation or a quick elliptical run or even a 10 minute arm workout on the bow flex. It’s a great complement with those items, and on days when I only have time for one, I am choosing the 7 minute workout! It really is full body, yet quick! Great range of activities and levelsI’ve used 7M at least 5 times per week during the 4 months+ of lockdown. I do 20 to 40 mins of activities each time, often with warm-up and the Complete session. I have a few basic extension activities to enhance some activities and mostly I push myself to the level where I don’t look forward to the sessions but I also don’t dread them. Only thing in a while that kept my motivation up!This app is just the right thing if you’re looking to get started with workouts without feeling too demotivated but keeping the momentum going. The exercise demos are super helpful. The workout audio prompts make you feel you have a trainer watching you so you really push yourself. Barely any ads or membership pushes. You can customize how many circuits you wanna do (I would recommend starting with just one circuit) and can adjust the rest time between exercises. Best part? Why i gave 4/5 starsThe app is very use full as you can do them all at home! Which i find very useful and you can adjust them to fit you, but the only thing i would say could be done to improve the app would be to be able to make your own workout. Which are not based on the exercises the app suggests, for example i found a workout online that i would like to do and time correctly and use the app to help me keep track of it but unfortunately i can’t which is the let down. AMAZING 🤩🤩🤩7 minute workout is a trustworthy app to help you with whatever the workout you want. It’s helped me a lot to lose weight which is something I’ve wanted to do in a while. By letting me customise my workout I can finger out what’s best for me. It lets me see my progress and I feel accomplished. It’s great for motivating me during a workout which helps me keep going and by letting me skip a step in the workout lets me know I have options. It’s a good app as long as u remember to keep at it. The tutorials it has to help you understand how to do the workout are super helpful as it has a wide range of exercises and I didn’t know some of them or I didn’t know how to properly do them. It doesn’t only come with steps but also with a video of someone demonstrating the workout at home or in a studio. One thing I like about this app is that it’s free. I didn’t want to go to the gym to save money and most apps you need to pay so luckily I came across this app. It’s helped me a lot since the day I got it. Terrific speedy exercise appSuper App with many well thought out routines, which have both quick diagrams for reminders, and choices of explanatory videos if you haven’t used an exercise before. Also allows people to design their own - even while still free. Routines used to miss an “intermediate” level, but now that has been filled. Thank you! Best workout ever!I have had this app on my phone for a few years but didn’t even open it-until now. I tried another exercise program that was barely ok. So I decided to see what this app had to offer. Even in my mid-60’s, and nowhere near retirement, my work/home schedule is very crammed, and 7 minutes exercise per day should be doable-right?! Fantastic workoutsThe free section, bless them, is just wonderful. I can set my own pace, duration of rest intervals, set my own music… it’s just a beautiful app. As a pensioner, I use this at least three times a week. I can choose from different exercise routines I can easily follow, and target my overall body, or certain parts of it. There is also a calendar with a graph that records how often you exercise. Mine goes back a couple of years. You can also record your weight. I can testify that if I didn’t have this I would probably be in a wheel chair due to poor muscle tone. You just need to provide the willpower to keep at it. And at around 10 minutes daily, there are really no excuses. At about $80 per year it’s well worth the investment. Best workout app I’ve tried; annoying updatesI’m not docking them any stars; still my favorite workout app, bar none. and they are hard at work updating the app, as they say. But the updates sometimes come with inexplicable changes, like when they eliminated the voice countdown at the end of each exercise. One improvement they made long ago was to lengthen the sets on the double sided exercises to 30 seconds each, instead of the too-short 15 seconds. but the one recent update reverted back to 15 seconds each side. (Has since been restored.) It would be nice if they actually specified the changes in the update history that they publish, instead of simply repeating the worthless statement about being hard at work improving the app. That said, the app is incredibly easy to follow with a wide range of different workouts so that you’ll never get bored. The instructional videos on how to perform each exercise are very complete and incredibly useful. And they finally got the music accompanying the workout to modify its volume so that the instructions and countdowns are still crystal clear. It remains my twice-weekly go-to cross training workout (3 sets)..Version: 5.14.0

Great for chronic pain sufferersI’m halfway through the free trial week and I absolutely love this app. I’m not often generous with my praise for paid apps, but I have serious chronic health issues and I can actually do these exercises. I can eliminate all the ones on the floor which I cannot do. You can even customize your own music with Spotify or Apple Music. I will actually pay for this and stick to it. Great app for those short on timeI’ve used this app for about a week now everyday and it’s been great. I do the exercise after work, before dinner. Because it’s only 7 minutes, I can easily fit it in even if I finish work later than expected or I’m too hungry to do much otherwise. The alert function is useful too, for when I’m feeling particularly lazy. It also makes me sweat! I very rarely sweat after exercise, even when I was doing full cardio at gyms and hiking! BrilliantThis product is exceptional. I would suggest to those who get cramps to do warm up, then routine then cool down (even perhaps take some magnesium or hot bath with epsom salt). The best workout APPI have subscribed to many app in the past few year and this is the best one hands down. Why? Because it gets the jobs down. Making taking control manageableGreat app which has really helped take control of my Heath and lifestyle. I can’t find severa hours in my day, but I can usually find a few blocks if 7 minutes, which has really helped me lose weight and gain fitness. Since I first used there are many more new workouts, include the daily variation, which adds variety, however the tutorial videos have really gone down hill, mostly linking to a 30 minute workout which presumably has the desired move somewhere in it. Just downloaded itAmazing, breaks 7 minute workout into 30 seconds each and alerts you when you’re half way there, you can listen to music in the background and it won’t stop the music, you can create your own workouts for free, for as long or as short as you won’t (of course the minimum is 3 from each section in order to make a minimum of 7 workouts), you can link it to your heath app on your phone and put in your weight as well as height and it will work out your BMI on the app and if you’re a healthy weight or not. it will also allow you to put in your new weight and it will analyse it against the current weight you are at when you start❤️.Version: 3.1.3

I chooseI like that 7 Minute Workout doesn’t choose for me what I will do each day. It’s not necessary to have goals. I choose what I want to do. I was doing stationary bike for 20 minutes followed by rowing for 10 minutes and now I follow that with 7 minute workout. My goal is to move somewhat. I always pick beginner level. That’s where I’m at. I can’t do a full plank or regular push up. I googled how to modify these and that’s what I do. The count down is great, I figure I can do almost anything if I’m only doing it for 20 seconds. And if I’m sore or tired I just do the stretchy exercises. Even if you’re out of shape, like me, you can do this and what you can’t modify..Version: 4.4.9

Getting Fit at 46This is a fabulous app. It really has been upgraded since the last time I used it. It has more varied exercises and a tutorial video on how to perform each exercise before you start the workout and even during the workout by simply clicking on the (I) information icon. It has options on what you would like to target each day and some tutorials have beginners and advanced exercise videos for the same exercise. You save every days workout and it calculates how many calories you have burned. It gives you a sense of routine and you can set an alarm to remind you to exercise as well. It is the perfect app to get you on the road to fitness and I’m sure once there you will find that there’s no going back. Great travel work out - surprisingly tough!I work out 3-5 times per week plus I usually cycle 100km+ per week so I’m physically fit. I tried this work out recently as a last resort whilst travelling for work when I had difficulty getting gym access. I did 3x in succession and was sweating hard at the end of it. It doesn’t look like much on paper but in reality is quite tough when repeated several times in quick succession. Best free workout appA while ago, I tried various 7 minute workout apps and none of them worked for me. Too annoying, too impractical, too many intrusive ads. This app, on the other hand, is wonderful. The only ads are short and easy to exit out of. The workouts are easy to understand and require very little equipment (I don’t think anything but a yoga mat is needed). On top of that, the instructions are calm and straightforward. No videos of overly-peppy trainers. Just clear animated diagrams of the workouts. Vocal cues help keep me on track without being intrusive, and I could even keep music or podcasts on while doing the workouts. The categories help me find exactly what I need, including a “standing only” category that provides workouts with basically no setup beforehand..Version: 4.4.9

Love this app!I never have a plan to exercise until i found i have prediabetes. This alarming sign made me determine to work out regularly. I used to work out too but always quit half way. I found this app which is user and beginner friendly. It has different levels and styles to choose from and the 7-min limit for each session is so much easier for me to stick to it. Great app that doesn’t try to do too muchThis is a simple app that guides you through a basic, no equipment necessary workout. There are preprogrammed routines for all levels of fitness. Unlike most of the other fitness apps I’ve tried this one doesn’t try to add any excessive features (diet trackers, maps etc). It’s a streamlined, straightforward approach that keeps me focused on what’s important, I.e. just do the work and don’t waste time stressing about finding the perfect routine. Good Workouts, not enough of themI’ve been looking for a good workout app that was free, and I have been using this app for about a month. The workouts are not bad, however, they are very repetitive and there are about 2 different workouts per area that you would focus on. I do really like the fact that you can create your own workouts, but it would be even better if you could create your own exercises rather than having to use the app’s options. Apart from that, the workouts do get you moving and will give you a decent workout. Getting back into itHello. I’ve found myself very unfit and overweight and the thought of doing what I was once capable of worries me for my joints and back etc. Soooo, I searched what I could do instead and this app came up. Great for short WFH desk breaks!Working from home and being sat at a desk all day has been starting to take its toll but it’s this app is a great reminder to take regular breaks and to get moving to keep healthy. Love the option to randomise the workout as not to waste time scrolling through loads of options so I can get back to work quick enough. Would be 5 stars if the schedule workout feature allowed for bulk notifications, don’t fancy going through and setting 5 notifications a day, 5 days a week because it’s too long. 7 Minute WorkoutI have found this is the best way to exercise. You are not over fazed by time. I start off with the short 7 mins and then double up with other workouts. Almost brilliantLove this app. It was the first one I could find that didn’t want silly sign ups and just did the job - it just gives me the workout without me having to think about it or Nessa about with phone timers. I’m not that experienced so the linked instructional videos are also just right. The Reason I dropped a start on the writing is that I like my intervals to be 30 seconds. There is a setting which is supposed to make the default interval 30 seconds. However I have found that this doesn’t actually override the individual settings of only up to 15 seconds on the individual work out. So that means I am back to counting the intervals manually. BeginnerSo I decided it was time to shift abit of the the holiday weight I had been carrying (for a few years) I don’t like BMI as it says I should be 10-13st (6ft 2 naturally broad guy) I would look like I’m at deaths door! Just perfectHaving a little toddler I have very little time to workout at home without distraction but this 7 minute programme is just perfect for me. It covers 12 different exercises which last for 30 seconds with a 10 second break in between. I have been doing the programme every morning for the past 6 month and even though it only lasts for 7 minutes my body is definitely toning up again. The best workout app I’ve ever usedThis app has helped me workout at home as I’m not aloud outside the house by myself. I’m only 12 and it has helped me to burn 185 calories in 2 workouts only. Best w/o app everLiterally it only keeps getting better and better. I downloaded it as I began to recover from an ED and it helped me massively as a way to encourage myself to get back and stay in track. It introduced me to a way of looking after myself that literally only takes 7 mins and from there I’ve been able to build up and in lockdown it’s been invaluable, even simply as a way to clear my head. I first got it a few months over a year ago when it was simply 5 or so workouts and it was brilliant then but the developers have improved it so much with every update, adding loads more workouts, music features etc. It is possible to buy something but it’s not shoved in ur face at all like some apps and it’s still an amazing app without!!.Version: 4.4.1

Great app!I would highly recommend this app because of how amazing it is! It’s particularly better than other workout apps because it allows you to create your own personalised one, which others don’t have. Five Stars and Beyond!I’ve been using this 7minute workout app for about five years, and now with the updated version I do not see the need to pay for a gym membership. The app I’ve been looking for!This app is seriously fantastic. The pre-made workouts are nice and diverse and the customise function is one of the best I’ve seen. Perfect!This is so great! I love this for how straightforward and easy to use it is. 7 minutes of exercise split into 14 x 30second exercises so it does not feel overwhelming. A simple, unfussy, basic display and voiceover which I like very much and at the top of the screen is an animated character to visually demonstrate the exercise you should be doing. It continues throughout the exercise which is also helpful. I was a bit worried about ads seeing as this is a free app. But worry not: There are small ads at the bottom of the screen but they do not interrupt the play of the video workout (eg: they are not the annoying ones which pop up and halt your progress) and they are fitness related too, so not inappropriate like McDonald’s or chocolate ads whilst we’re trying to lose weight!! Best of all there is no patronising voiceover telling you you’re doing great or spending ages telling you how to do a sit up etc! Just a very simple introduction telling you what exercise is next, and a vocal countdown: One to tell you you’re half way through, and one “3,2,1, stop!”. It really works!I started my journey during 2020 to lose a lot of stomach fat and pudge. It totally turned my body around after just 3-4 months of consistency. I only worked out 3-4 times a week! Each time I would do one custom 7 min workout that I made based on my body goals. Welcome backI stopped working out outside of walking over a year ago after having a “slipped rib” that was treated by my chiropractor. Life-Changing App for Building Workout RoutineAbsolutely love it and recommend to all my friends. I’ve been doing morning workouts with it for 111 days now, without a single day of break. For me the best part is that you can choose the difficulty level - when I just started and often felt like skipping a day I just looked for an easier workout and did stretching or lying-down legs one, etc. Also, love all the helpful filter like “no-jumps” or “standing only” - helps you find an appropriate set for a hotel room or avoid waking up downstairs neighbors, haha. Just one ask here. I see you guys keep adding more & more workouts, but somehow they don’t appear in “playlists”/groups sorted by difficulty (Beginer, Inrermediate, Advanced). So I have to go to “All” and then apply filters to find them. I didn’t know that at first and missed some really cool workouts, just doing old ones on repeat. 7minute workoutI’ve joined gyms before and the first thing they want to do is find out where you are with your exercise ability. From my personal experience every time, I have gone home with an upset stomach and/or so sore I could not move the next day. The 7 minute work out is perfect for someone that has not had a workout routine. You can do it any where and I choose to do it privately. I can make mistakes and not feel bad. A great little exercise appI’ve used a few different free exercise apps for short workouts, and this one might be my favorite. It’s pretty no-nonsense, and the workouts are fun. They seem a bit less injurious than other apps. I like that you can choose your workout and set favorites - that is particularly motivating. Also, all the workouts I’ve done so far are really fun and well-balanced. Update: I had to take a break from running and cycling for eight weeks after a knee injury. The 7 Minute workouts came in handy, as they are adaptable and categorized in a way that is convenient for targeting certain areas while avoiding the injury. Great free app!I’ve gained some weight in recent years (due to an injury) and have been trying to start to get myself back into shape. This is really the first fitness app I’ve tried, but I haven’t had any real need to search for any others yet. This free app is fantastic and offers some nice features. There are roughly 7-10 pre-designed workout routines (in the free app), but then you can fully customize your own routine by picking from a wide variety of different exercises. It shows you a nice little animation of how to do each exercise with a link to videos of real people showing you the proper way to do it if necessary. It also has a running clock that counts you down as you do each exercise, and it lets you know when you are halfway done and when you r a huge the last 5 seconds. It also has a progress tracker. You enter your starting height + weight and it tells you your BMI. Then you can weight in weekly (or whenever) and track it. And last, there is a nice notification feature that reminds you to work out at your set time every day. Very happy with this app so far!.Version: 5.15.0

Best Workout App Ever!!💪🏼🥰💖This app is so motivational! There are lots of workout options to choose from that are only 7 minutes long and they can burn about 26-46 calories! There is an animation when doing the workout which is very helpful, if you still don’t know how to do the workout you can press the information button and it will quickly show you how to do it! I use this every day whilst in quarantine and I’m loving it! It tells you how many calories you have burnt since downloading the app, for example, I have done 22 workouts and I have burnet 1,200 calories. You can pause it and take as many rests as you wish. Effective and efficientReally enjoying this app. My favorite aspect of using this app is I don’t have to come up with workout routine - because it’s already set! Like many people, Because my of work schedule I don’t have a whole lot of time to commit to an hour workout everyday (as much as I like too). So the work out routines provided by this app are perfect for a quick at home workout. I would say most of these workouts (at least for the free version) are more a beginner level so if you haven’t been consistent with working out and are really out of shape - I would highly recommend this app. Great restarter to get a routine going again and get yourself into decent shape. Good and badI've had 7 minute workout for like 2 years now, and I've found some good and bad parts about it. One is that when you don't know how to do that workout you to the video and play it but it plays for like 15 seconds and doesn't really show you. Second is that when you tried to find a workout you have to scroll though for a bit to find, now I know the added something where you can like it but still. Now I like when you wanna do a workout it showed you if it's advanced or beginner. I also like how when you find one you life you can like it. Great app BUTI’ve been using the app for over a year now and it is absolutely fantastic the only problem that I have the moment is when I go to use it there is random music that comes on very loudly and switches off again while I’m in the middle of my routine is very distracting and very annoying I hope the app developers can give me some guidance I have emailed them but have received no response.Version: 3.0.4

A great appI’ve tried a few exercise apps but this one is good. Can do it in the comfort of my own home, link my music to the app to motivate me more and the voice over encourages me to keep going. Price for app is quite reasonable too. Thanks 7 minute workout..Version: 4.4.9

Not perfect but really goodThis is what I need and does the job. It could use some work, some of the links to detailed exercise videos do not work. Also, the music has pauses in between the songs, and that could be fixed. overall, well done, but I hope they continue to monitor and improve..Version: 5.16.1

Only workout app that’s actually free😄I love how simple the app is to use and I love that it’s free. All these other workout apps say that you’ll get the best results with their app. As long as you’re moving it doesn’t really matter. exercise is exercise. I’m just starting my work out goals using this app and I’m just so glad I don’t have to make an account and put a credit card on it for freaking workouts. This app is a really great way to get in shape and get fit even if it’s just on the side from your main workouts. I suggest using this app to build strength and endurance. If for nothing else use this app for staying healthy. I’m never really in the mood to get up and go to a gym but with this app I feel motivated to get up and get sweaty. Much improved from when I first started usingI started using this at the beginning of quarantine because I no longer have gym access. I can definitely tell the developers have stepped their game up since the beginning. I couldn’t play my own music without issues at first, now I can with no problems. There are more advanced workouts then when I first downloaded. Only complaint is you have to use this app using either data or WiFi. I wish there was some way to download these exercises on the app because, for instance, there was a week where my state had an ice storm which knocked out all power across my area the full 7 days and I couldn’t use this app. Just a minor thing. ImpressedI’ve used a few different 7 minute workout apps now. This one gives you a variety of workouts so you don’t get bored (and without making you pay), it links to Apple Health so you can assess your overall health and it provides you progress tracking that is game like but realistic..Version: 5.17.0

Exactly what it looks like, and somewhat betterI’ve been searching on my phone for quick, workouts that are designed for what you wanna get stronger, or weigh less, and almost all of those, you have to buy or there’s a free trial. With this app, you can get quick, free workouts, on the go, whenever you feel like it. I’ve lost 6 pounds with this app in less than 2 weeks. It’s not like those other apps where it spams you notifications and stresses you out when you can’t do it then, or just feel like relaxing. You need 0 equipment, you can do all of them at home, in your room, living room, kitchen, anywhere, at anytime. After every workout, your guaranteed to be satisfied and tired. Even on the beginner ones. Most beginner ones are easy, but definitely make you sweat, fell accomplished, and tired. 6/5 stars, and would highly recommended this to anybody who wants to gain muscle or lose weight, without going to the gym for 4 hours a day..Version: 4.2.1

Simply GreatOther like other workout apps, this one is completely free to use and covers all bases of your body instead of doing randomly selected exercises. Each exercise has an ability level so you can how difficult the exercise is and difficulty are very accurate having tried them myself although each one brings a challenge of there own. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 star rating is because you can’t change the voice of the announcer during the work out..Version: 3.1.3

This app changed my life!I use to be obese, self conscious and very unhappy with how I felt. I started this app just doing one 7 minute workout a day. Once I felt stronger I did 14 minutes then 21 minutes then 28 minutes. I now workout in the gym 5 days a week went from a size 16 to a size 4! I have been working out daily for 8 years now. I just had a baby and am now starting the process over again- doing 7 minutes a day, then I will add on until I feel strong enough to start lifting and head back to the gym. Amazing!Absolutely free workout, there are lots of different sections with 7 minute workouts sessions. They are all labelled and easily accessible. If this is not for you then you can make your own workout sessions and save them and also change resting times. It is an absolutely amazing app! Great App I’m not using anything elseThis app is amazing. This is my very first time using it and all i have to say it that it is wonderful. It motivates you in the best way and makes it seem like the workout is two minutes long. I swear I blinked and I was already done. I love how they have the avatars doing the workouts so you can see exactly how you are supposed to be doing each exercise. The avatars help you so you can get in a great workout while doing each exercise correctly. I love how the app plays upbeat music to get you in a good mood. The music helps me a lot so I feel confident in myself and not talk down about myself. Like I said today is the first day of me using this app and I am so excited to learn so many new things that the app has in store for me on my journey. I would totally recommend this app to so many people and I’m so happy my friend recommended it to me. I WILL be using this everyday so I can stay motivated and happy. Amazed at the results!So amazed at the results. I used to be at the gym every day and now I can’t do that so have been looking for something cheap, quick and easy to do in the comfort of my own home for ages. This is the one. I’ve only been using it for a month or so and only done the beginner set but I’ve noticed a huge difference in my strength and posture. Throughout a couple of weeks using this app, dedicating only 7 minutes each day, you build a lot of self strength.
