- Enable Wifi ("app" or "phone+tablet" mode) on your GoPro Hero.
- Connect your GoPro using Wifi to your Mac. The default GoPro Wifi password is "goprohero".

If the GoPro cannot be controlled with the app or the preview does not work then completely power off the GoPro by removing both the USB cable and the battery.

✓ Does what it says on the tin.I’m pleased with this purchase as there is currently no way to view your video stream (gopro 4) through vlc on your computer. The video quality is pretty poor and displays about 1 frame every few seconds (and I’m using a mac book pro!), but it’s not the end of the world. I also cannot get it to stream through VLC. Tried everything. But then would the qulaity be better than what it is currently?.Dan V 123Version: 2.0
