Review that really sticks

Academic research has found that memories are formed by repeated exposure to new information, so Magoosh’s flashcard app uses a spaced repetition system to help you in your preparation. Concepts you are learning will reappear frequently (occurring less frequently the better you know them) and concepts you already know won’t be repeated. The list is also culled to only 160 idioms so that you don't waste time learning unimportant ones for the SC section.

“I really like the way the words appear and the simple interface to show progress of the user. You guys have put good use of algorithms so one comes out learning the words well. The best flashcards to date.” - Arif

"I was able to learn more words in the 4th week by using your flashcard app than I learnt over the previous 3 weeks using Barron's 1100." - Sai

GMAT Idiom Flashcards Pros

Great ideaThis is definitely a convenient tool to practice idioms on-the-go, however, I'd like the app to include many more idioms and more examples of each. For example, when reviewing an idiom that I didn't know, it would help me to see different sentence examples illustrating the same concept, rather than the same sentence over and over again. I also think the explanations could be a bit clearer. For example in the 'less vs fewer' examples, we learn to think in terms of 'how much vs how many' but it should then plug-in the applicable noun to show more clearly that only one answer could be correct (only "how many cars" would make sense, but I was tempted by "how much traffic"). Additionally, unless One has recently reviewed grammar vocabulary words (gerund, infinitive, past participle etc), the explanations can be somewhat confusing. Magoosh should either include a brief review of these words first, or also plug in general words (rather than "x, known for y" or "noun, known for gerund," "person known for something" might be clearer). Just a thought!.Nicknametaken?????Version: 2.3.6

Check this out!!You're doing yourself and reviewing efforts a disservice if you don't at least check this out. This was definitely definitely helpful for me in getting a 700+ score..Haoran L.Version: 2.4.2

GMAT Idiom Flashcards Cons

GoodGood.KinanathcVersion: 3.1.2

Good content, but unsure about the formatThe idioms this app is packed with are very useful and of high quality. But as of now, the app only lets you go through each card one by one, whether you already know the idiom or not. I find that tedious. I wish you guys could apply the format you use for your Vocabulary Builder app across all of your flashcard apps..ClairepianoVersion: 3.1.2
