✓ Bad on mobile good on webThe idea is great and on the web it works for me but the mobile app horrible. Duplicates calendar entries and the layout is really unusable. I have to delete it and reinstall every couple of weeks to get it to clear completed tasks. Oh and if you ask it to sync (pulling down in the screen) it gives you errors. ✓ Sign in brokenSigning in with a google account isn't handled well at all. The close button on the top left of the navigation bar persists from the logging in screen. Pressing on that 'closes' the view which logs you out and takes you to the regular 'try' version of the app. The detailed text in the sign in settings are mismatched as well. ✓ Disappointing: does not sync or save task reliablySpent hours setting up my roles, tasks and milestones in the desktop counterpart only to find only 85% of my tasks were synced to the iPhone. Found out the hard way: did a massive grocery shop and discovered I did not buy everything I needed when I checked Weekplan on my desktop. Tried putting in tasks directly to the iPhone app and discovered that subtasks are not saved under the week's goals section. A lot of potential for this app but the bugs make it not worth the $80 plus dollars a year for a premium account..Version: 2.03
✓ Serious issues with UXI want to love this app because I love the concept but the UX is just atrocious. From desktop to mobile the onboarding and the entire experience is really lacking in clarity, and the mobile app is especially bad. It’s unclear how to see all my tasks, the UI is confusing and kludgy. Please spend more effort to think about things from a user’s perspective and improve on the experience! I’m unmotivated to make or work on tasks because I’d have to go on my computer every time..Version: 3.11

✓ Too expensiveWell designed with some unique features, user interface could be better, price is ridiculously high. ✓ Good features, but bugs make it brokenI love the idea of this app, and tried hard to keep using it. However the bugs (like navigation disappearing, popovers not dismissible, etc.) and also the feature inconsistencies from the app and web app (parking lot vs big rocks? Huh?), were just too much. I’m going to use another weekly planner app instead with less features but way more reliable. I might check back to see if things are fixed, but it might take a hefty UX redesign for me to come back and pay..Version: 3.06

✓ Update and your pre-existing tasks disappear foreverUpdated for the first time since October and all my tasks have completely vanished. Why would you release a new version that doesn’t copy over my data by any means whatsoever? Especially without providing any kind of warning in the App Store?! Support claims there’s no way to recover my data either since they aren’t willing to share the previous version of the app. Even if they did my iCloud back-up has probably already been overwritten, so extracting the app data isn’t even an option anymore. In my opinion, their development team made a grave mistake releasing this update, failing to ensure the app would meet minimum requirements, to include moving over any pre-existing data. I’m very disappointed. My mistake for not choosing an app developer with a proven track record..Version: 3.19

✓ Great idea. Why doesn't it work?It's a great way to plan and everything, but there are so many iffy things with this app. It doesn't sync right. If I check off something for the day, it doesn't stay completed. Pretty basic thing to screw up. The version for the computer works great but it doesn't sync with the app very well. It looks like little to effort has been put into fixing these bugs. It's ok, and I've invested a lot into this app, but I might consider switching if these things continue to be a problem..Version: 3.0
✓ Too buggyEDIT: This app is crazy buggy, rendering it unusable. It crashes almost every time you delete, check off, move, or create a new task. If it doesn’t crash and you create a new task, it creates 2, 3, or even 4 of the same kind. Then you have to delete the extras and then it crashes... This has been going on for almost a month now. I’ve contacted the developers and still no response. So disappointed! This could have been a great app. Original review: FINALLY! An app that lets you make a weekly to-do check list that is fast, simple, easy, and lets you see everything you need to do in a week. ✓ IOS needs workI love the web app for its excellent alignment with Covey’s role based planning methodology. The iOS app is lacking some key features and functions that deprecates use on an iPad particularly. ✓ What happened?Used to enjoy Week Plan, but couldn’t justify pricing so stopped using it. Came back a couple of years later with the hope this had changed. Unfortunately the app now seems bloated and non-functional. Trying to drag and drop entries (or even open them it seems), crashes the app consistently. ✓ Great Until It Got BuggyThis app is probably my most-used app. It used to be amazing, super helpful for remembering appointments/tasks. But now, it bugs out a lot. It deletes future events sometimes. Once I check off a task, most of the time, the same task pops back up when I refresh. It’ll seemingly switch and rename tasks. Just annoying stuff. But it’s still better than similar alternative apps, so I still use it..Version: 3.11

✓ Cannot be used on iPhoneThis simply doesn’t work on an iPhone 5s. I started on my Mac, looked good, I even upgraded straight away so I could use all the features and collaborate... then... later that evening, I tried to add a subtask and found that I couldn’t see the text I was writing. The screen jumped to other sections on the page so I couldn’t see what I was writing, also the options to change views at the bottom of the page works intermittently at best. If you start a task, there’s no option to cancel it either. So disappointed!! The concept is great, incorporating the methodology of 7 habits of highly effective people but... it must work flawlessly on mobiles too!!! I never write reviews, but this has been beyond disappointing..Version: 3.19

✓ Cannot be trustedFirstly I have to state that I truly loved this app. I used it daily for planning and found the automatic pushing of incomplete items to the next day to be an excellent feature. However, when the app underwent its major update and rebrand I was shut out, as all access went behind a paywall. This was particularly galling as there was no prior warning of this. When I first got the app I started using it without creating an account, as it wasn't a requirement, however after the update, the only way to gain access was with login details (which I didn't have). This app, containing all my plans and data had locked me out, with no way of regaining access. I contacted support many times, where nobody seemed to understand or know how to remedy the problem. To create a calendaring app to rival the major players in the space and ask people to entrust their important data to your planner you must have integrity and I've sadly found this to be lacking with WeekPlan. Unfortunate, as it is a functional and useful app but having been forced off the platform I'm happy to have found Tick Tick, which is an even better design for my needs..Version: 3.27.14

✓ A good app but with some bugsI like this app, it's simple and easy to use. However I've been finding that it duplicates a lot of the tasks you put in for some reason. ✓ First ImpressionsWow, this app is rough! Onboarding is incomplete — I have no idea what it is I’m supposed to do after setting my roles. Is there help for the app? I don’t see it anywhere — which brings me to the interface. There’s placeholder text (e.g., “thankYouIntroduction”) all over the place. Terms and Conditions, which I was required to agree to, were not available. Tap targets are too small. One of the navigation tabs is covered up by the chat bubble and is inaccessible. ✓ Terrible, complicating version of the web app, which is only ok to begin with.This aesthetically pleasing but unnecessarily confusing UI forces has all sorts of labels and lists you don't want or calls them things that don't make sense, but neglects to offer the basic time management features that one would expect from any electronic planner like the ability to assign tasks to a calendar date, have them repeat, give them alerts, etc. As it stands, this is just a really complicated UI for making and viewing very simple lists and makes me want to go back to pencil & paper planners and a memo pad!
