BILT TOOLBOX
The BILT Toolbox is a collection of instructions to help you with home, auto, and safety projects, as well as guides for basic power tools. Follow easy BILT instructions to fix a toilet, lay bathroom tile, paint a room, jump a car battery, change a tire, use a circular saw, adjust a bicycle, repair drywall, and so much more to help with anything adulthood sends your way.
We use the BILT Toolbox too, so if we have a question about something, we design an instruction for it. We welcome your suggestions, too. From personal experience we recommend downloading “How to Jump a Car Battery” before you need it because internet connections at soccer fields can be spotty. :)

✓ The future is here.I’ve never had a problem with old fashioned manuals. But many, many guys that I work with are just visual people. They’re not stupid, but they just aren’t “readers.” So they gloss over the manual and often miss important warnings. This approach virtually eliminates that problem for many people. The ability to pinch and zoom and spin items in 3d is a total game changer when you need to verify orientation etc..Version: 5.32.0

✗ Why?! Just include printed instructions 🙄This app took something simple and made it an absolute nightmare. My husband and I have put up several ceiling fans over the years and NEVER have we EVER had to use an app for insulation. We can generally get a ceiling fan up in half an hour with printed instructions because he knows the first few steps. They are all pretty similar in that aspect. So we are able to skim through and get to where we need to quickly with printed instructions. But with this app, absolutely maddening! It took us an hour and a half to install a ceiling fan for my father in law. This app turned a quick, easy project into a long drawn out process and had my father in law stressed out by the time we were done. Why must everything be on an app these days?! What happened to good old fashioned paper instructions?! My father in law has told several of his friends about this ordeal and none of them can understand it either..Version: 5.38.1
✗ Helpful but lackingI used BILT to assemble a Weber E-410. The app provided mostly helpful step by step instructions. It was lacking in 2 ways. 1) Some instructions only apply to the LP version of the grill. The App did not always make this clear at the beginning on the instructions for those steps. 2) Every time I checked the hardware needed, the app referred to bag A. Weber provided 6 bags labeled A-F so I had to refer to the assembly guide Weber provided. The BILT instructions did not follow the Weber assembly guide so it was a little difficult to find the step to insure I was using the right parts. I stuck with the BILT app s process and successfully completed the project with occasional reference to the Weber assembly guide..Version: 5.5.1
