Your attention is being sold to the cheapest ad buys. I just watched one ad that ended with an "App Update" notice that looked almost identical to an iOS dialog and I nearly clicked it. While I might accept that occasionally, the worst part is there often is no way to close the ad to continue reading. The only option is to force close the app and start over, hoping to find the same article again, and hoping that the offending ad does not reappear. ✓ Not bad, but….All notifications clear upon viewing the latest notification at the top of the group in iPadOS 15’s Notification Centre. Plus, I should see more news listed than the news story for just the notification I tapped. Only upon app closure and relaunch do I see other news stories. ✓ I love this application however it has some major flawsI use many newsfusion apps everyday and enjoy the content they provide however, there are some problems that i have mentioned in feedback multiple times an got no response. The first problem is that sources you block still give you notifications about articles from that source and when you click on it it changes to a different article. Another issue is that instead of getting a few notification over a reasonable amount of time say 30 sec to a few minutes, you get 4-10 notifications all back to back over lapping each other before you can even read the previous one. In newsfusion defense there is a bug where you try to share an article the application freezes. There are bugs with rotating content and ui layers overlapping or covering each other. I love these apps and the freedom they bring, but it fells like the devs don't care..Version: 3.9.9
✓ Slow with too many adsI liked this app for years, good article selections, but it now has too many ads and is very slow to swipe to the next page or bring up a selected item. What just made me delete the app was having the opening screen come up with a full page advertisement that you have to click to open or cancel... and the text for the buttons was in Arabic or something similar! That is crazy dishonest - to make it a coin flip as to whether I can get past the ad or open it up to take me somewhere. I’m done..Version: 3.9.9

It crashes all the time, it loads slowly, and frequently hangs up just staying stuck like it’s trying to load something. it happens on every story sometimes, and it can be nearly infuriating. ✓ Used to be the best!!Used to absolutely love this app!! Was my daily source for informative and intelligent science based information. Lately unfortunately that has changed a lot. Not only is the app BLASTED with annoying and irrelevant ads and click baits that give it a very cheap and superficial feel. I understand developers need ads to cover costs, but at this level it makes it feel like the app is just using science info crawled from other sources to get some ad revenue. Also like others have said in reviews there’s a lot of bots or fake accounts that immediately flag ANY science news about climate as Fluff! Doesn’t seem like those are actual opinion because they are super fast to flag every single post about climate. Seems like a joke and looses more credibility. However, apparently someone or multipke people, rate the information as “fluff.” Based on the references to “fluff” either is very misguided, or whomever may be leaving this comment or ranking, either does not believe in science, or simply enjoys posting disinformation. Presumably, this App should have the ability either to prevent the poster (whomever is doing this) from posting, or automatically could rapidly expunge such abberant or mischievious posts. To permit these obnoxious or flagrantly anti-science posts to remain, simply encourages more of the same bogus posts. ✓ Great news resource but needs to be updatedGreat science news source but this app needs to be updated for stability. It crashes or freezes often. Doesn’t transition well from advertisements and freezes instead of returning to app functionality. The screen is not fully visible on iPhone 12 Pro so the app is not optimized for latest technology. Love the information but the navigation and stability of the app needs much improvement. Videos have never displayed sound and always crash. This has been the case since I began using this app years ago. The Share function often crashes too or takes a ridiculous amount of time to share an article. I have begun copying the link and emailing it or texting it myself instead of using the app because it’s hit or miss and takes longer than it should..Version: 3.9.9
