✓ Milestone in bird song apps!Finally a compact version of the famous 17 CD collection of bird songs. Now I can take the bird song collection everywhere I go, also the search features make it more easy to find songs (you have categories, search fields everywhere, and even similar species lists for every bird). The app also has a brief description of every bird. Very nice and fresh design with spectrograms and amplitude diagrams. You can even note sightings with GPS information :-) For the same money as the original CD collection you get much more features, thus this unique song collection is worth every penny! ✓ Make sure you don’t have the ringer off...I down loaded this app this evening but could not get any sounds. After playing around bit trying to find a solution. I was able to determine that the sound issue was because I had the ringer on mute. Interestingly other apps could play the sounds through the speaker with the ringer on mute but not this one. I figured this was my issue after I plugged in earphones and could hear the sounds. Once I determined that the sounds did accompany the app, I realize that it was something on my end and thus was able to resolve the issue.
