✓ Does not work, no support offeredHaving downloaded the app and purchased grade 1 songs, they simply do not download. Having tried all the usual fixes to no avail I have now given up. Unfortunately the tech support link on the AppStore is also a dead end..Version: 4.0
✓ LullabyHi: My daughter is going to have grade 2 exam soon, I just bought the grade 2 selection pieces and listened the piece, I listened a few times Lullaby and felt a faulty on the 38 seconds of the piece, do not know if it is a mistake or not just did not feel right! Could the developer double checked the piece and if it is wrong could you please change it as it will influence children's pratise!.Version: 0.8.2
✓ Big disappointmentThis is pointless app, you're better buying the audio from iTune rather than this application. It merely plays the tune only, no help with fingering or hand positions etc., all the important tips when practicing for ABRSM exam. I strongly advise ABRSM to withdraw this application or else make a huge improvement to make it worthwhile.Version: 0.8.1
✓ What is the point of this app?Really can’t see the point. The sample “recordings” sound pure MIDI, i.e rubbish, at least for piano. *And* you have to pay for additional ones. I already have them elsewhere, paid for, so I need to pay again? Hand separation is almost a good feature but again you can just practice this yourself with a metronome. Disappointing..Version: 4.1

✓ The app was a good start - but come on!!!Come on ABRSM, this app is so clunky. It’s really frustrating. Why not allow us to add in the seconds or the bar number that we want to start and finish on, as the scale is fiddly and frankly impossible to use with accuracy. You’ve got us over a barrel. ✓ Family sharingA good apps but I made a mistake of installing with my id on my mobile phone. This has been very inconvenient that my girl could only practice with my mobile. ✓ Why not all the pieces like before!?I used this app for my grade 1 and 2 but now it doesn’t offer the alternative pieces certified by ARSM... if they are grade pieces they should be listed. Now I can only use the app for one of my pieces. I can’t fathom why only half the music available for your exam is now displayed. Utterly disappointing. ✓ UsefulThis is a very useful app indeed and the tracks are reasonably priced and the practice variations of hand and speed is amazing!! I drop my rating down to three because the guide doesn’t work for the tracks we are using and is crucial, particularly for grades 1-3 and slower tempos. I really hope ABRSM can fix this for a future upgrade. Pretty please......Version: 3.0
✓ Nearly There, But Not Quite.I have used this app on my IPhone 6s for a few years. The App is almost there, with a few outstanding hiccups. The problem I experience is one of setting the sliders to listen to a section of music. The sliders are somewhat hit and miss, and some pieces fail to play the selected section correctly. All in all it is a good app, although it’s a shame that the developers for ABRSM have not robustly sorted one of the basic requirements out. I don’t recall having this issue with the earlier versions. Please note that it might not be an issue on a newer phone or tablet. I would give it 5 Stars if it were not for this issue..Version: 3.2.1

✓ Loop function is impossible to useThe loop function doesn’t work- I move the left cursor and it still starts the piece from the beginning. Also you can’t see what seconds you are on while dragging the cursor and it’s very small so it’s very not user friendly if you are trying to find the part you want to repeat. Also this means it is hard to find your place in the piece generally so repetitive practice of one section becomes impossible. Very frustrating and badly designed app..Version: 4.2.1

✓ RubbishThe app is a waste of space. It will not allow me to download any new music. I’ve checked everything and spent hours. All the support team can suggest (and they took 2 months to respond to me) is ‘tap the blue button with your little finger’ . And ‘check Apple Pay is authorised’. Even though I’ve explained 3 times that i am certain I know how to tap the blue button and the first thing I checked was Apple Pay. They seem to think I am a moron - I’ve used this app for 5 years with no issues previously- the problem started when I upgraded to 4.1 and started on grade 7. I haven’t been able to use since then. I’m so angry with the lack of technical help to get it to work..Version: 4.2.1

✓ GlitchyGreat idea. Doesn't work properly on my admittedly fairly old mark 2 I pad. Similar issues on my I phone 5s. Jumps about. Count in feature refuses to switch off. In particular the freezing and jumping even on a newish I phone make it a rather useless. When the software company make it work properly it will be great. I see no issue with paying £6 per grade for the pieces. That's £2 a piece..Version: 0.8.2

Now I am looking to download some grade 6 pieces, I have hit a brick wall and am unable to download anything. I cannot even retrieve my old pieces paid for and downloaded previously. ✓ Clearly a known issueHaving read the reviews I’m disappointed I trusted the app - I bought a bundle of 23/24 extra pieces for grade 6 and they never appeared. Contacted support and there has been no response or acknowledgement. Have tried everything - updating, re-installing, and restarting not to mention restoring pieces. There is a major glitch as it shows I have grade six, shows the pieces no longer available for purchase - but doesn’t show the pieces. I have a fully updated iPad Pro and iPhone and it doesn’t work on either but violin practice partner works fine..Version: 4.3

✓ Money taken! No tracks!After multiple attempts to download a track from the 2021 grade 8 syllabus, and the app telling me “there was a problem downloading your track, you have not been charged”, I attempted (foolishly) to download the entire set of additional pieces for £8.99. Again, the above error message appeared. No grade 8 tracks in my app:-(. On checking my Apple account, every track purchase has appeared in my account, with no sign of any refund information!!.Version: 4.1
✓ Could be betterThis is a useful practice aid but it could be better. The ability to set loop markers is a good feature but the UI is almost impossible to use, please please fix it so you can enter bar numbers. Also the guide track isn't always present meaning it's easy to lose time in sections where only one hand plays - how about a metronome option? And for the cost of the IAPs how about dedicating some of the screen to a video showing a keyboard view for fingering? So overall this is pretty primitive compared to something like Piano Marvel but you're limited if you want something ABRSM specific I guess..Version: 0.8.1

✓ Buying additional pieces took my money, but no piecesI used this app for a few years, and it was okay. Then I bought some additional Grade 5 pieces on my phone. The payment went through, and the purchase appears in my account (on my phone), but the pieces never appeared in the app. Restore Your Pieces’ doesn’t work. It’s not an issue with being logged in with the wrong account (I only have one account anyway). I’ve tried everything (and I have the latest iOS). I have contacted ABRSM numerous times about this but have never had a response. Others have had similar problems so it appears there is a fault with the app, which is being ignored. This is very poor from ABRSM, if their products are taking people’s money but not providing what was purchased, and they won’t respond, then the apps should be withdrawn from sale..Version: 4.2.1
✓ OkishThe actual action of playing the piece is fine but since I have moved up to grade 4 it won't let me purchase B2. Myself and my parents have tried to purchase it but it just won't let me and when ever you try to press the cost it takes me to the info page. Apart from that though it did help me master the pieces from my grade 3 so over all not too shabby..Version: 2.1
