✓ Could do betterI like this app, and haven’t had any problems with it. However, I wish I could access my saved items from the “home page” without having to open an issue first. A more functional way to save would be helpful. For example the ability to categorise what you’re saving (without creating your own folders) and automatically showing which issue it appears in. I also have a small niggle about the large ads at the top of the home page to encourage me to subscribe. Pointless when you’re already a subscriber. The space would be better put to use to display more covers, or perhaps your saved items..Version: 3.16.5
✓ Love digital magazinesEnjoy the quality articles and patterns. The iPad app doesn’t function as well as my iPhone app. Issues don’t load and I often have to delete the app and re download it. ✓ App Now Working!!After my initial review, and several attempts at trying to get my digital subscription number to work correctly with the app, it is finally working hurrah!! I think there may have been some kind of bug or issue with my new digital subscription number working, as I tried my original subscription number where paper magazines had been delivered to my door and that seemed to work…then it didn’t, then it did! I’ve finally got it to work and I can now see all the Simply Crochet magazines on my iPad and phone, and they have downloaded correctly. A lesson I have learnt, which is the sensible and I appreciate, the most logical route, is to contact the developer before getting frustrated and asking them for help, I usually have a cool head and logical brain, but the errors and bugs I think just got to me!.Version: 7.0.1

✓ Great Magazine, App has ProblemsI love this magazine, and look forward to every issue. In the past I’ve had problems whenever the app is updated. This time it happened again. All of my first year’s purchases have been removed. The app wants me to repurchase all the magazines I bought under the first app. Also, in this new version, I can no longer include notes on my new bookmarks, thus making it confusing as to when I am bookmarking a shawl pattern or a new crochet motif. This is very annoying, and I hope you change it back. So, now how do I get back my magazines?.Version: 5.3.7
✓ Love MagazineI had the old app, good. I now have the new app. I think I've bought one issue twice when the app doesn't work. With the new app there always seem to be updates. Occasionally when updating the app stops working. Most recently, when the June issue was in my library I was unable to download. I waited a few days and the screen froze. I deleted app from iPad, then opened the app. It is working great now. Love all the patterns, ideas, pictures, articles, the designers. Each year a different designer has a special section for the year. I've only made a few small items so far and I have plenty planned..Version: 3.3.42

I've been buying paper copies at B&N and wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a subscription of a UK crochet magazine, but I've looked at several other US magazines, and I felt this one had patterns that better suit my style. I loved it so much that I went ahead and bought all the back issues too! The app is so easy to navigate, and I like the fact that I can click a link to a web page directly in the app. Disappointed that the contests are only open to UK residents, but that is at no fault to the app developer.
