✓ Subscription ware to do many functionsAnother lousy creative app that wants in your wallet 24/7. In response to developer, why force the consumer to use your cloud sync solution if they have others? Some features require the subscription. I simply don't understand how the developers have the nerve to market this stuff. They expect me to support iCloud AND their cloud too? I wasted my money and time on this and it's sister apps. Just hit delete..Version: 2.4
✓ Some things not workingI am baffled by this app sometimes. If I choose to draw with the technical pencil (green one furthest to the right) I can draw one line, then I have to select the pencil again to draw a second line. Not all tools perform this way. The regular pencil works fine. Erasing is very odd. I can erase pencil, crayon, and some other tools, but I can't erase the straight line, or inks? It seems to pick and choose what works and what doesn't. Hopefully it will be fixed. Oh...using the adonit jot touch as my stylus..Version: 1.3

✓ Not user friendlyI have a fair amount of experience with both drawing and text apps so was a bit frustrated with this one. Moving a text box should be simple and not take 20 minutes to figure out (I still haven't figured it out). So would imagine the rest of the app is overly complicated too. Have deleted it. To be fair it could be a bug, I have submitted my comments on the developers website. Shame because it looked like a really cool app..Version: 1.1.1
✓ A confusing money grabThe app revolves around convincing the user to use their cloud service, for the monthly price of nearly $15 a month. That is on top of what the app cost. It does have the option of communicating with other cloud services, but it rarely works. The interface is messy and not at all user friendly. I agree with the previous comets. There are far better products out there. I wish I could have my money back. Worst $50 dollars spent.Version: 2.0

✓ Limited compared to the competitionThe drawing is laggy on an iPad Pro, the UI is not intuitive, and the app tries to push Kdan Cloud a little too hard. Go for GoodNotes or Notability instead..Version: 1.5
✓ Won’t embed videoIn spite of information in latest update it doesn’t embed a video already in my library. Scrapnote is better for that. Videos made within the app work but insert upside down if you have your iPad in landscape position. There is palm rejection in freehand draw, but not in handwritten text panel. The old NoteLedge on my old iPad is more user friendly than this. Deleting now..Version: 3.1
✓ App constantly crashesApp keeps crashing when trying to connect to Pogo stylus. Also crashes every time after purchasing add-in. This is on an iPad 3..Version: 1.3
✓ A lot of bugsI really wanted this app to work Cause the concept is great, but sadly it has so many kinks rendering it unusable. The app lags severely when changing covers of doing anything. The pens are beautifully presented however, writing or drawing with them makes me cringe. There is a slight delay/lag and the ink does not smooth out like in other apps which is a high drawback for note taking. You cannot change paper, and if you can I have no idea where or how to. The ui is a bit confusing. A great concept, but not executed well. I hope they fix everything so I can use this app. Also, is there a way to pick your own Web browser instead of using the one with the app..Version: 1.4.5
✓ Regret BuyingIt sounded like the ideal note app, but after a couple minutes in, I was reasonably disappointed. Here's a list of why: *No pressure sensitivity for Pencil *No tilt functioning for Pencil *Undo button does not always work *Highly inadequate tutorials to explain anything *The only cloud option is their cloud *I could not undo an accidental delete of a web clip This is all after about 5 minutes experimenting. I'm sure I'll be adding more after more testing. Final thoughts: It does not seem like the developers have it all together for this app. For now, save your money and go with a different note-taking app until this one reaches its potential (if it ever does)..Version: 1.4
✓ False advertisement warningI was really excited to get this app based on the video and the description. My excitement soon ended. The app lags and has a sloppy interface. The main thing that upset me though is that while the video shows that you can easily save your work to other formats like PDF and doc, what it doesn't say is that you can only convert your creations by signing up for and using there expensive KDAN monthly cloud service. What a rip off! I tried to get a refund through ITunes but this app is not eligible for refunds. Very disappointed to have wasted my money..Version: 1.4.5

✓ Developer Does Not Need Your PurchaseI have NL Premium. It was way too cutesy. So Ultimate de-cutesy-fied. Same stuff, nothing new except some added cutesy pens. But: - Removed palm rest. Smart. Why?? - Only supports Adonit PP. I have PP and NL Ultimate is out of control with the stylus palm-rest. There really isn't any. - Zoom with 2 fingers continues to be a pain. Too sensitive. - And continues with the monster brush. To paint what? Can't resize smaller than monster size. Wait on Ultimate; save your money and use the older one. Update: 6-17-15 - Wrist-protect better, zoom still wild, and with stylus works better turned off. Needs more work. Also no need for blank space on all the margins. Update: 8-31-15 - Getting slightly better. Still buggy. Especially with the supported stylus. I wonder if they test the app, since the writing is well-done, but comes and goes. Plus once the page went black and froze the app. The page was irretrievable. Still amateurish workmanship..Version: 1.1.1

✓ Way over PricedNot worth the huge price. Doesn’t do anything that much cheaper apps can’t do. Way too buggy(constant restarts to get the keyboard to go away, always freezing) Syncing between devices is a nightmare unless you use their Kdan cloud which cost more money. ✓ No hypeI got this app,after Goodnotes,and returned Goodnotes for a refund..to me hand writing is better and the UI look and feels better,and plus the ablity to lock each of your note books,with in the app,plus saving internet videos to pdf... Now my note to KDan Mobile,make new and better lessions,and videos on how to best use of all your products...I can Ask this from KDen Mobile because i have bought all of your paid apps,and there is no real help /support for us,who chose to love and use your apps... ✓ Needs other Cloud and Stylus SupportI think this is a good app but it is one of the most limited note taking apps on the App Store in its inability to support the many other cloud services available and Stylus Support. Pencil 53 has climbed to the top of the ranks in styluses and should definitely be added. It's a huge wast of time and money for app users to be expected to pay for and use so many different cloud services and expensive styluses. Hopefully these needs are met in a near future update to allow more users to download this app..Version: 1.1.1

✓ Caution I just lost 26 pages of notesI have been using NoteLedge for weeks and have about 20 notebooks full of goodies that I have researched. Was very happy. Suddenly I have a text bar that wont go away and it propagated to all my notebooks. I don't want to pay more for Kdan Cloud as I already pay for Cloud svs elsewhere. So I signed into my cloud. I saved most of my notebooks and the text box lock went away. Then it came back. I tried to download my most important notebook of 26 pages from the saved version and it blanked my entire notebook. All 26 pages are there but they are blank. This was important stuff. Be careful doing anything important with this tool..Version: 1.5.1
✓ Useless without palm rejectionDescription mentions support for Adonit Jot styluses and palm rejection. While it does connect to Jot styluses there is no working palm rejection. Writing and note taking with this app is impossible. Do not buy. I will be seeking a refund from Apple..Version: 1.0
✓ Lots of optionsI b9ought the bundle from kDan and it's a lot of different options and menu bars. However, like most of today's Apps they want you to buy more, sign up for monthly charges and get a thousand push notices. ✓ Painfully slowBeen using it for a while. Despite good features and great potential, this app is painfully slow (I use the latest full spec iPad). Sadly I may have to delete it, if it continues to be like this. I will keep watching for the next update (hopefully within a month), if it doesn't improve, I will delete it. Wake up developers!!! ✓ Notification Ads in paid app.Started adding notification pop ups in this PAID app. It now alerts me to follow people, check out stuff they are selling, etc. this is nonsense, I paid for this app. I had to turn off notifications because it was so obnoxious.
