✓ What a wonderful appThe app is managed by my daughter-in-law to share photos and videos of my, now, 15 month old granddaughter, with family members and friends. It was very important to her that it be done privately, rather than use social media. I so look forward to seeing those photos and videos—when I see the red alert on the app to indicate something has been uploaded, I can’t wait to see what’s there. An added benefit is that I can choose to download whatever photos and videos I choose and, every month, I order 8 prints from that month at a cost of about $3 for shipping. I have been using them to create a photo book of my granddaughter..Version: 19.20.1
✓ Needs More Options, But Great for ParentsThe #1 issue I have with Family Album is not being able to turn off notifications for one album without turning them off for all albums. Having multiple family members’ kids’ albums is great, except when their relatives that you don’t even know comment multiple times per day on everything posted. It is so frustrating. It would be great to be able to mute more distant family’s albums and check them periodically while still being notified about activity on my own children’s albums. I also wish I could caption photos and videos I upload rather than it being a regular comment. That being said, family album is essentially a private photo sharing app that works by invitation. It’s very handy for keeping your kids’ photos private but still sharing them with family members near or far..Version: 17.7.0

✗ Good app but better option availableI’ve been using this app for last 9 months, it has served my family well, but it lacks many features.. I discovered a app called Priceless and it’s amazing, it has all this app has plus it has individual family timelines and future messaging.. ✗ Used to love, now it’s wasting spaceI used to recommend this app to everyone. It organizes the content, allows only invited people to access it, and freed up space (for more pictures/videos of my kids. Now, and for the last almost year, I haven’t been able to open it for more than 5 seconds without it closing. Nothing will upload anymore. I can’t get it to stay open long enough to save the things I have on there so I can move them elsewhere. Only reason I haven’t deleted the app is because I need the content I have on there of my two kids. Like I said, I used to recommend this app to anyone and everyone who would listen and even some who didn’t. But now, I barely want it myself other than needing what I have on there saved since the content would otherwise be lost..Version: 20.5.1
