The universe of This War of Mine has been expanded by following DLCs:

The Little Ones - explores the hardships of wartime survival as seen from an entirely new perspective - that of a child.

This War of Mine: Stories:
1st episode: The Father's Promise - a heartbreaking tale of loss and hope in a war-torn city
2nd episode: The Last Broadcast – as a radio-operator you are going to face moral dilemmas and decide, whether there is a price too high for the truth
3rd episode: Fading Embers - in severe and harsh winter, you will need to find an answer to the question of what is more important - survival of human legacy or the survival of a man.
All of the Stories episodes are available as separate DLCs as well as a part of Season Pass. The Little Ones DLC is not included in the Season Pass.

In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.

The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.

Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.

This War of Mine: Anniversary Edition
It's been two years since This War of Mine global release and we're still expanding the experience. This new free DLC, created especially for the Anniversary Edition, adds new characters, new locations to explore, and most importantly - a whole new ending, leading to a different outcome to the game. The reason is easy, since you became to one of them, you are the victim in that war! ✓ Eye openerBeing a Marine Engineer, Afghanistan, OEF 14', I’ve seen the destruction & chaos of war. From dealing with bombs to seeing the poverty caused by war. This game put me on the otherside of the story to where I could also feel the pain of war. The pain of having completely nothing. ✗ Bought when it first came out BUT now does not workI loved this game when it came first came out, ran smoothly with no bugs. ✗ Great game but it keeps crashing on me...Like the title says, the game is great. I have reviewed all the requirements and my system fits them so I’m not sure why the game crashes the way it does. Three times in 2 days. With no option to save progress (the game does an autosave after each “day”) I continually have to repeat progress. This is the only reason for rating it 3 stars. It’s easily a 5 star game if it doesn’t crash. Anywho. The game starts you with 3 people, all living in the same rundown house during a war. You control each of the three, choosing when they should eat, sleep, scavenge or guard the house. You also have to make improvements to the house, for example a stove, a heater, rain catcher, etc. You have options to make weapons, gardens, traps and all kinds of other things. Resources are very limited so you’ll have to be choosey about what you build first. There is a real economy within the game and you’ll need to trade at times to get the resources you’ll need for building or upgrading your shelter. I think that’s about all I should say so as not to spoil. Great game, just wish it wouldn’t keep crashing on me..Sofaking2000sVersion: 1.0.2
