✓ Love it! Such an accurate application.I particularly like the notifications; I immediately know on powering up my iPad if the Sun is doing anything interesting. This is an excellent app, which is so straightforward and so quick with the information you simply have to get it! On a trip to Iceland in January 2018 it got Aurora probability spot on, and we experienced a lovely display! It’s doing well now (16-17April 2021) showing 128nT. Dimly visible from Cornwall, where light pollution minimal, and seeing is excellent..Version: 2.4.12

✓ A gem of an AppBeen fascinated with all things Aurora for years, this app does what it sets out to do. Enabled the widget so while I only set up the notification for orange & above, the widget display shows the activity and prediction from green so I can always keep an eye out in case there’s the probability I can get in the car and go chasing the sky. ✓ 10 Star Steamed HamsThe other night I got an ‘amber alert’ notification, I rushed to the live webcam feed (great integration) and watched the aurora live, in this part of the country!! It was so bright and even though the camera quality wasn’t amazing, you could see some detail of the curtain shifting. I could even make out the subtle pinks. It was really great to see, blazing northern lights. Definitely recommend this app, especially at this time of year..Version: 2.2.3

✓ Wow!So this is the best thing to get updates with . I have been following Aurora for a while because they can affect electronic equipment, when I skippered boats , it could disrupt radio ,Radar , and Satellite communication. If we had had this we would get some warning to start worrying about what you believe ( electronically). So do I rate this 💯percent. Yes I do . ✓ Advice please for noviceHi, I have heard great reviews about this app... my dream is to witness an Aurora Borealis... rather than Webcam... although I am sure the Webcam is brilliant. I live in Essex and can jump in my car at short notice to drive to an AB siting. Can I please ask ... does an Amber alert mean a sighting is highly likely and if so , how long does the AB displays last ? ✓ Bit uselessThe alerts only happen as there is current activity happening and the graph only shows present activity or previous levels that day that have already happened. Really you need an App that will tell you if there is activity predicted later that day..Version: 2.5.1
✓ A treasureThe app gave me a red alert for aurora, the skies were dark and clear, the aurora was there and a lifelong desire was fulfilled surprisingly far south, in Devon. I am truly grateful for this app, it’s brilliant. A tip for wannabe watchers - modern phone cameras can see better than the eye (my eyes, at least). So while I could see faint hues in the sky, my phone could see them vividly..Version: 2.7.0
✓ Great AppI've always wanted to see the Northern Lights and even went to Iceland but was hindered by cloud cover. This App gives you traffic light alerts allowing you a chance of catching them weather and cloud cover permitting. Much appreciation to the person who thought of this. ✓ Great but could do so much moreI'd love to be able to see the data over more than just the last 24 hours, you should be able to pick the scale 24 hrs, a week a month etc. It's easy enough to implement and would give some feeling for temporal changes over weeks, months and years. And match the alerts with daylight/location so we don't get alerts when it's light outside..Version: 2.1.1
✓ Great app!!Used this little app for a couple of years now and is great for predicting when we might be lucky enough to see the lights. The notifications are fab, rely on them so much for planning my evening when there's clear skies over the UK. ✓ Fantastical aurora AWUKAurora uk it’s fantastic my wife and brother in law think it’s fantastic as we’ll I’ve seen them jump into their cars and go to see it closer up there crazy about it mind this was last year .but this year they haven’t had time with moving house it’s my fault because it’s into a new bungalow now because I have got vascular Parkinsonism so that’s how they haven’t been able to get it or going to see the aurora when it was happening but it’s back on now oke doke And cheers Leo Monaghan.Version: 2.0.7

I would give 5 stars but sadly the app lacks the ability to set a “specific sound” for Apple Notifications hence I miss alerts having the same sound as for example messages. ✓ What's not to loveFabulous app that does exactly what it claims and more. Well thought out notification criteria, and useful info. Improvements could be a time slider back + forecast on the already very cool 30min map view, and perhaps some way of negating the hours delay? For us in N Yorks, that could be the difference between seeing and missing the aurora. Thanks for making this app available though, especially at no cost. 5 stars, no hesitation..Version: 1.6.1

✓ Fantastic AppThis app, for me, is by far the best app on my phone. The Aurora is one of those bucket list items and having this app makes it highly likely that I get to view it from Scotland. The app is very accurate with alerts when Northern lights are out and about. The amount of times this year I’ve had a 3am notification and jumped out of bed and sure enough I see the green and purple hue in the sky. ✓ Best thing everIt’s a great app with potential If you live near the aroua or live miles a away !! Last year on my trip to Iceland we discovered this app and drove up to the nicest spot to see it 😁!! It’s an incredible app compared to the rest of the northern lights apps !!! ✓ Best app I’ve ever downloadedI live just outside a major UK city, with pretty high light pollution. Always figured the Aurora was out of reach for me here - I was wrong. Since downloading the app I’ve been treated to two absolutely gorgeous displays from my own back garden, and even had a picture of it retweeted by Professor Brian Cox, a hero of mine. It’s free, and so far (by my experience, 100% accurate. Don’t see why you wouldn’t download this to be honest!.Version: 2.7.0
