✓ Great app - ruined by AdsThe app works beautifully, but the banner ads that support it are overly intrusive, often grabbing the entire screen, and there appears to be no upgrade path to an ad-free version. On launch, there was a permanent ad at the top which either covers the menu section, or sits above and pushes everything down which wastes screen space. Not only that, but there's also a pop up which appeared every time I tried to load an image. This is overkill - I didn't really get a chance to see how good this app is. ✓ Purchases No Longer WorkIt’s been awhile since I’ve purchased the effects with this app, but with all things that I buy, I expect to be able to use it for as long as I want to. Even after multiple “restore purchases” attempts that show that it’s been restored, I’m only redirected to the green check that shows restoration without the ability to use any of the purchase features. Only the “free” one is able to be used. It’s been over a year and I still haven’t gotten a response from support concerning this. Don’t even bother to go to the app support from here either. ✓ If you're into photography don't botherIt's a great idea and I really wanted to like this app, but doesn't really do what you want it to do, so I didn't like it at all. It doesn't work anywhere near as good as the pictures show. It'll keep you entertained for about 10 minutes though whilst you look though every one of the one thousand-and-something photos you have stored on your phone and then realise it doesn't work with any of them, then you'll probably delete the app. It's free though to have a try, so you may as well. ✓ Not like the picturesI bought this app because of the advertised effects, but with two of your own pictures you just cannot get the effects as per the pictures. It’s basically a blend of two pictures which you can do with the free part. Absolutely not worth paying extra as each element, if using your own pictures, seems to work exactly the same. I emailed the app manufacturers to see if there were instructions that would help me get the results I wanted but I got no reply. My advice would be just use the free parts.
