✓ One fatal flawThis would be a great app except that it reads the second of any pair of formatted double quotation marks in text! I really hope they can fix this as it makes books with dialogue unusable with text to speech. I have given it a good rating otherwise as it does otherwise work well..Version: 5.1.55

✓ Free vs Paid ???On the Apple App store this app is listed as ‘free’; during some aspect of use I am asked that to proceed further requires the ‘paid’ version. The required payment is $5.99. When I attempt to follow through with payment my actions are rejected. If I attempt purchase through the App Store, there is no option given for payment. Very confusing. To add some authority to my assessment, I am a very long time user of Apple products and an experienced user of the technology. ✓ For a free app, it’s awesome!I’ve never had (or wanted) an e-reader, but when I wanted a book that cost over $20 for paperback yet was only $2.99 digitally, I figured I’d give it a shot. Using this app, I don’t need a separate device, so I have my book in my phone, ready to read whenever I’m waiting at an appointment or need to kill time before a date or am just lying in bed and don’t feel like getting up to grab the book I forgot in the living room.
