Migraine Buddy: Track Headache for Positive User Reviews

So supportive; a must have! This app is BRILLIANT!!!! Having migraines can feel so isolating and random! This app guides you through so many different elements of migraine stages, with a stunning variety of triggers, noted effects and methods of relief. I have learnt so much!.Version: 32.1.4

Great App!This app has been very helpful in tracking my migraine attacks and figuring out what the different triggers could be..Version: 57.0.11257

Absolutely Incredible!!Before I get into the full review, I just wanted to say up front, I highly recommend this app to anyone that has migraines! It’s absolutely incredible!! —— I love the Migraine Buddy app. I started having migraines about 4 years ago, not knowing what they were, and finally figured out about a year or so ago via my doctor that it was likely migraines that I was dealing with. Since then, I’ve used this app to keep track of each attack. I love the simple format and dark color scheme, especially because I am typically sensitive to bright light when experiencing a migraine. Very very simple and user friendly, and so encouraging! The app walks you right through each step of logging your migraine in detail and helps you track valuable information to find out what possible triggers are, what reliefs help you the most, and so much more! The statistics it provides are in depth and very useful! It also sends encouraging messages every so often through notifications and is filled with positivity inside the app! I recommend this app to all of my friends that have migraines, and seriously would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone!! It’s an incredible app and I’m extremely thankful for the valuable information that it helps me track. Thank you so much Migraine Buddy!! With thanks, A Completely Satisfied User.Version: 26.1.0

The most useful app I useUsing this app has help me track my symptoms and frequency so I can manage this condition. It has been very useful when communicating with my physician. I have recommended it to everyone I know who suffers from migraine. I find it empowering and it validates a very real affliction..Version: 65.0.12782

Awesome AppI have had migraines all my life. As many who have migraines know, they have the power to devastatingly impact your life, and no one truly understands accept your doctor and other people who have migraines. I’m in my late 40s and still get people rolling their eyes when i say i have a headache (even my loving husband of 19 years, lol!). My doctor recommended this app and i love it. I had intermittently used it over the past 2 or 3 years, but since i’ve been home from work during the covid pandemic for over a month, i’ve been using it consistently. Ironically, i’ve had more headaches this month than i’ve had in a while...i guess all the stress from everything going on. But anyway, i love the sleep reports, the detailed features of recording an attack, the home page which says how many days i’ve been attack free, on the day of an attack how it says later it hopes you’re feeling better, all the invaluable tips, the migraine incident reports, the supportive migraine community, the different ways it seeks to help us see how so many things we don’t think of can cause headaches, and so much more. This has been a comforting tool to help me manage and understand my headaches..Version: 32.3.3

Game changerThis app is a migraine recording game changer. It makes it so much easier to quickly answer questions while having an attack or after the fact. I’ve learned so much about my triggers. Having the ability to look at the pressure and humidity changes in real time has been the most helpful part of the app for me personally..Version: 52.0.9640

Thank you!I have just recently found this app and am really, really glad it has been made and is FREE! I haven’t spent that long using it, but it is so easy to get the hang of and records details about your migraines that are useful to your doctor and are often easily forgotten about later, making it harder for appointments to be useful. The app is laid out in simple icons, of which the ones you most use can be arranged in the most obvious spots which allows for you to record your migraines, even while your having one. As someone who finds some of my migraine symptoms quite scary, I really like that you can compare how common your symptoms are and look out for any recurring triggers. I find it really difficult to keep track of my migraines, so I am glad to have this as an easily accessible record. My only addition to the app would be to add identification of areas beyond just the head. I often get pins and needles reaching all down my neck and limbs, it would be nice to be able to add that as well!:) Thank you so much to the migraine buddy team for developing the app, it’s great to make some sense of something that is so unexplainable! I would definitely recommend to any migraine sufferer or parent of a young migraine sufferer! It’s well worth the couple of minutes to click a few buttons; give it a try!.Version: 25.1.0

Life Changing! This app has become an essential key for me to have a functional life right up there with my doctor and my medications. I STRONGLY encourage anyone who averages 5 or more migraines a months to try the free version for a year or two and then upgrade to the paid version. It takes a while to get used to recording migraines and to get comfortable with the app. A year with the simpler free app really helps and it doesn’t make sense to pay for the full version until you’ve got that down and are ready to step up. When you start, make a commitment to stick with it for at least 3 months before quitting and skip all of the additional question to keep it simple until you are more comfortable. It might seem like a lot but it becomes easy with time and is definitely worthwhile. Best wishes!.Version: 54.0.10582

DavidJust switched to this app and I really like the flexibility and detail available..Version: 54.0.10582

Very happyTracking my migraines was so helpful when my doctors were considering or trialling new treatments, and this app makes it so easy. Thankfully I’ve found a treatment that works 75% of the time, but every so often I open the app up just for the little boost of positivity I get looking at how many days I’ve been migraine-free!.Version: 29.1.5

A life changerLet me be straight.... after a fight with migrane for four years , I met migrane buddy by accident ... this has change my life style , first I run from migrane now it runs from me ! Where do I find words to say how just a simple app nailed down the culprits (migrane ) in so many simple ways , I am very greatful for the team efforts , just one request... of note making is made abit more easy , will sincerely appreciate the efforts ... you guys are amazing ... thanks Ali the migrane fighter ..Version: 26.1.2

Its pretty goodHelpful app!!! wish it was a biiit more customizable though. its good though, recommended to me by my doctor!.Version: 38.0.1535

Recommend to patientsI am a family physician with migraines x 20+ yrs (hello out there...I hear the medical profession is rife with migraine sufferers), and this has been a particularly bad year for them in my state at least. I’ve been recommending this app to my patients as it is very helpful for me not just in looking at triggers, frequency etc. The app also helps with the emotional reasoning that is very common in chronic illness (“This always happens”, “I only ever have headaches when I want to do something fun.” etc) It has been shown that people with chronic pain and chronic illness are much more likely to fall into those false beliefs, and I see my family fall into them to. It’s nice to have facts to show them and myself. (“Well, I might have missed two fun family events this summer but 80% of my headaches are during the work week which means it’s usually not related to something fun...grin.”). It’s so nice also to see how many others are share in the same situation. I often hear this as I hear patients describe it, but I know others often do not..Version: 30.2.3

Helpful reliefI have had chronic migraines for years, with sporadic medical help. So I thought I’d use this and take it to my doctor - time to get more insistent! This app is great for making you think about the onset, relief and effects of migraine and act upon it more swiftly. Great app, nice to find one that actually useful! It would be useful if you have pro drone or headache and then if it developed into a migraine this can be shown in the on going report. Also it would be good if repeated medication could be added so you could then see how much you had taken and more importantly how long ago. Also the change in intensity. Maybe an initial choice in type of migraines you’d have ie: chronic or classic as they can run different patches entirely. I have chronic so I end up writing notes, otherwise if I change intensities of pain or meds et it doesn’t reflect properly how it started or what happened or how it ran. Just a suggestion! 😂.Version: 24.4.7

Recommend for all migraine sufferersThis app was recommended to me by a colleague who also has recurrent migraines and I am so grateful! It has helped me to identify triggers and early symptoms better and as a result I’ve been more successful in treating my migraines earlier, which has meant shorter and less intense attacks..Version: 44.0.5341

Great AppThanks for making this app. I have been using it for a few months now but it is helping me collect data on my migraines to show the doctors and recording what helped with each attack and what kind of attack I have. It’s good to read about other experiences, even though sometimes reading about it makes me feel a bit sick!! In short migraine is awful- but you have made it a bit more bearable x thanks.Version: 34.6.0

Beat Migraine APP Out There! This APP has truly been a huge blessing for me. It is so much easier now to track migraines, triggers, and remedies as well as print reports for my doctors. I’ve been using the free version of the APP for about 4 years now and have nothing but positive things to say about it. I also believe that Jenny and the people behind the APP truly care about migraine sufferers. They even met with me and some other migraines in Dublin, Ireland a few years ago to discuss the APP, what improvements could be made and to get our input. They were very professional, yet seemed genuinely concerned. I could hardly believe that they would take the time to meet with APP users and not only that, some of them had even traveled from other countries for a business conference yet they took the time out to meet with us. I can’t say thank you enough to Jenny and the team for this amazing tool. I wish I could afford the paid version but it’s not affordable for me due to low income because of my husband’s cancer and the fact that I’m his caregiver. But the free APP has still been a lifesaver and I highly recommend it to every migraine sufferer!.Version: 47.0.6984

Sleep infoMigraine buddy has been informative as to the number of migraines I have in a month, however, I would like to see a more detailed way to show sleep cycles, especially with interrupted sleep patterns to get a more accurate picture.Version: 24.4.7

Awesome!I think I’ve learned more in the past few weeks than in the past 17 years! I know what I’m suffering with at last..Version: 54.0.10582

HelpfulThis has really helped me so far in trying to keep track of my migraines. It is really customisable even in the free version. I’ve never bothered to track my migraines even though I’ve had them for about 15 years but I am now encouraged to do so because this app makes it really easy and then I can give better info to my doctor to help manage things..Version: 52.0.9640

Amazing AppHas everything you need and more!! User friendly. A must have for all Migraine Sufferers..Version: 40.0.2653

AMAZING RESOURCE!I’ve been using MB for about 8 years and it’s the best for documentating my migraine! They constantly update it so users have the best experience possible. What I love most is the MB community in the chat groups that help you feel like you’re not alone! What a wonderful, supportive and educational app and community!! I’d give more stars if I could!!!.Version: 65.0.12782

The developer really understands! It’s great how you can enter detail later when you feel better, or as you go. It’s the first time in 20 years I have really logged my migraines. It’s given me and my doctor real insight into them. Thanks Migraine Buddy team. 👍👍.Version: 26.1.2

I love my Migraine Buddy!Migraine Buddy helps me keep track of all my migraines and different symptoms that come along with it, therefore helping me better see when to expect a migraine and how to help it, if possible. This app also helps me keep in touch with my doctor, and provides other information to show we are not alone. I love this app, have used many different ones, and will not go back to any now that I've found Migraine Buddy!!! 💕.Version: 23.4.1

BrilliantI have been using this app for just about a year, it helped immensely with neurologists and doctors who were treating me whilst I’m and out of hospital. I now have a firm diagnosis and I have the correct medication. I still get migraines but they don’t control my life, I control them. This app has helped me look back on the statistics and the frequency. Pain is something that you forget once a migraine has passed because as humans we are wired to forget pain until it hits again. So thank you for such a helpful tool. Brilliant in its simplicity and accuracy..Version: 26.1.0

Always come back to using this app.Anyone who has migraine attacks should consider tracking them using this app. I’ve had migraines for over 25years and this is the most accurate way to record all information. At times when I’m unable to it’s easy enough for the other half to add notes on my behalf. It gives a clear overview of level of pain you’ve been in, how it’s impacted your day and how many days have been affected. Having so many people collaborate there is so much we can learn from professionals and others with same diagnosis. Thank you..Version: 42.0.3961

Highly recommended app! This app is so very helpful for tracking and then finding correlations. Easy to use and easy reference to share with Dr. Love this app and recommend to all!.Version: 52.0.9640

Wonderful app that is always being made better!!Love this free app!! Easy to navigate and record migraines. I have been using this app since April of 2017 and it has done wonders for me! It allows my doctors to see what I actually go thru, frequency, what meds work and dosages and duration of migraine. Lots of data can be entered which means lots of different results to be seen. They offer different ways to view the data to see if there is a pattern. My pain specialist was very intrigued by the printed report. Love that we can start an attack and then just leave it and go back to enter in the meds and steps used to try to stop the migraine. Can be personalized very easily so the reports show accurately what you go thru. The biggest benefit is that all of this is FREE! In a world where migraines are not understood, this app being free helps me to show all my doctors that I am serious in working for a treatment plan that works for me, plus there is no more guessing as to what meds to take and you can track when you took them last so you can make sure you are taking meds as prescribed by your doctor. It is a wonderful app and so happy they created it. One more tool to help us migraine warriors in the battle against this horrible disease!.Version: 29.1.3

Really handy!I’m normally rubbish at keeping this sort of symptom tracker journal, but this is so easy to use that even I’ve managed to keep at it for around two months now, which is probably some kind of a record for me! 🤣 The recording tools are really easy to use, the symptom suggestions are super-useful, and the charts and diagrams you get to help you find patterns are really intuitive and easy to read. Best of all, it’s easy enough to use that I can sometimes complete the entries during an attack if I turn the screen brightness right down, so I miss much less detail than if I was completing them after the fact. Such a useful tool - so glad I found it!.Version: 34.7.1

Well thought outAnd really useful … if you have weather related headaches or dizziness. Nice to know it’s the weather causing it, not you..Version: 44.0.5185

Best Migraine Tracker Ever! This is the best migraine tracking app. It tracks your migraines and all of the symptoms. It helps to make associations between possible triggers and your migraine. It also has information on migraines in regards to things that may help. In addition, there is the ability to get on a group chat with other migraine sufferers if you want, its optional. I did just because I wanted to see when I was exploring the ap. You don't even have to write anything if you don't want to. Its helpful to see there are others suffering from migraines like yourself. I have chronic near daily migraines and have rarely met anyone who has them like I do. This ap automatically runs reports on your migraines that you can look at. It is also very helpful for your Doctor or Nurse Practitioner to tract trends and see how you are doing. Also, the prompts in the ap are friendly and encouraging. You don't even have to fill them all in at the time of an attack, and can go back and edit them later. Give it a try, I think you will really like it. Thank you developers so much for making this! Its really great!.Version: 29.1.3

Great App!I’ve only been diagnosed with migraines for a little over 2 years, but I’ve been having them regularly since late 2003. I’ve tried to track them in other apps using the mood area and just typing in the information, but I ran out of space and couldn’t give a good answer to the doctors/nurse practitioners until now. I can finally identify where they normally start, and exactly how many I have in a month or every three months. I would always underestimate how many I actually had and how long they lasted. I love the notes section I can track everything included the actual pain level I feel. (I hate the numbers, but I found a picture that I now use for identifying my number.) I like the option to select if I think it may be over, but I’m not sure. The time stamps are great. I’ve only used it since May, but it has become my favorite. I tell my friends and anyone I meet who suffers from chronic headaches about this app. I’m planning to introduce it to my daughter who complains of headaches because it so easy to use. Overall, I love this app! Great job!.Version: 30.1.2

Portrait only view….I need Landscape! This app is excellent for tracking migraines. The only complaint I have is that after recent update, it can no longer be viewed in landscape, which is a necessity when using a tablet..Version: 52.0.9640

Great app! An essential for migraine sufferersThis app is awesome and has a super easy and intuitive UI. Anyone suffering from migraines, especially if you’re in the beginning of this never ending journey of migraine relief, you need to get this app. In the past it’s been difficult to describe and track the attacks and all the circumstances around it. Doctors would say “well maybe it’s the weather, stress, or your diet...” the list goes on. I’ve been able to track when they occur, how long, what is happening physically, externally, meds that I took, dosages, etc. Thank you to the developers and the whole Migraine Buddy team for creating such a powerful and easy to use app! The premium subscription is totally worth it! Happily support the Dev team behind the app. One suggestion? for folks suffering from migraines but may not have the finances for the premium subsection; it may be helpful to add a “donate” or “pay it forward” feature for other premium subscribers to feed into a pool of funds for folks who may not be able to afford to get the premium subscription. As we know - migraines are debilitating and will a greater impact those who are financially insecure..Version: 34.6.0

The best app! Wouldn’t be without it!I’ve been using Migraine Buddy for 2 months on recommendation from someone who’s been using it for over a year - I was skeptical that it would help me any because I already know my triggers and reliefs well. However, it’s been SO helpful; it’s not just that it’s an easy way to log migraines, but the reports have allowed me to see patterns that i would just have never noticed without an app - I now know I have different types of migraines, each with their own triggers and reliefs. The symptoms area is also great, because it opened my eyes to a range of symptoms that I experience but would never have associated with my migraines. It’s also a sleep tracker (yay!) and it has lots of info on migraines in general, which I love. If you suffer with migraines, get this app - it will help you to help yourself so much more. Thanks 💛.Version: 26.1.2

Excellent toolI’ve had migraines for over 30 years and this app is a revelation. No more sporadic paper and pen records or diary keeping - this does it all for you. It’s also reassuring to see how many symptoms I always considered personal to me (eg my sinuses coming up before an attack) are now considered to be standard. The app is managed by an enthusiastic and caring team and there are tips for long-timers and newbies alike. This app is a gift for anyone living with migraines..Version: 33.1.1

Worth the 90 bucks (premium)This makes it so easy to keep track of symptoms and possible triggers. When I’m in the depth of a migraine, the last thing i want to do is get a piece of paper and try to write my theories. This app makes it really simple. Already onto my second year with the app- no complains..Version: 52.0.9640

Best Migraine AppI’m so happy my Neurologist introduced me to Migraine Buddy! It’s the best app I’ve ever used to track migraines - it’s really helped me understand them better. It’s easy to use, beneficial for me and my doctors, full of information that’s easy to understand, tips, surveys and community resources. This app has everything you need and I’d recommend it to anyone who suffers with headaches, migraines or anything in between..Version: 32.1.4

Awesome! Really recommend!Has a really cool feature where you can make a pdf of all your recorded migraines so you can easily show a doctor! Counts how many days you’ve been attack free for. And has a sweet message on the home page when you’re having an attack. Only bad thing is it sometimes sends a notification to say you’re still having an attack when you've recorded the end already..Version: 39.0.2514

Didn’t know how much I needed this app!I live in Saskatchewan and during our long winters I would be migraine free for weeks at a time and then have migraines seemingly out of nowhere. This app helped me realize it’s the change in weather/pressures that are almost always at the root of my migraines. When we have chinooks (bouts of drastically warmer temperatures in the winter) I was getting migraines before the temp warmed up and then when it would start to get cold again. These changes were subtler then they sound, it would still be cold outside for example but because the barometric pressure was changing days prior to the warmer weather coming it wasn’t easy for me to track it. I now realize that sudden dips or increases in pressure cause my migraines thanks to this app. This app is super easy to navigate and makes it simple to track symptoms, potential triggers etc allowing you to see the big picture behind your migraines. Thank you for this app!!.Version: 55.0.10951

ClarityThis app has helped me to understand the process a migraine has. It’s comprehensive guide has assisted me in identifying my triggers and more effectively manage the migraine. I feel much more hopeful that I can reduce the number and severity of the attacks..Version: 30.1.2

A great support!!!Where can I start? I discovered this app few years ago, when it was being developed. I had one to one chats with Saulat about new ideas and improvements to the app, when it was more basic. Even basic version was a great support and helped me a lot to gather my thoughts, notes and show my doctor any problems and data. I am not going a day without it and showing it to anyone, who may benefit in managing this horrible illness. Jenny and the team made wonders to the app itself and supported me through my low days. Thanks to them I found out about Migraine World Summit! Thank you Maggie.Version: 26.1.2

Wonderful & Helpful !!I’ve used this app for many years and it helps me in many ways. I can plan my day, give useful information to my doctor and know how to take care of myself..Version: 66.0.12851

I’ve used others this is the best.I’ve been struggling for years with migraines, variants, vertigo etc. I’ve used a few other apps. I have found this one to be the most thorough. There are so many options, which I think is so necessary when dealing with the mysteries of migraines. Every headache can be a little different, and there are so many triggers. Also as another reviewer said, the screen is dark, that’s better on the eyes. I like that it records my sleep automatically. I don’t have to keep track, it just asks you to confirm, you simply have to open your home screen at night and then again in the morning. The only thing I would change is to be able to change the severity by the hour. If the headache is worse at 8pm you could go to a timeline and change severity for that hour or for however long it lasted..Version: 24.2.6

Excellent app – would like some functional improvementsBeen using this app for years, and it’s helped me discover a few major triggers, ones that were not always the case but have developed over time. The app tracks numerous factors in multiple categories which helps discover triggers that are combination triggers. Some improvements I’d like to see are: 1. “Quick record” feature that, if your pain level is above a certain threshold, the start time and weather are recorded. All other questions are put on hold until your pain status changes. 2. Level change recording – sometimes the level of pain and effects change but within the same migraine. Right now, a separate migraine record must be recorded if a person wants to track that. The reason for tracking that is because, sometimes, lying down to sleep has actually made my migraine worsen. So, it is helpful to track all other factors to determine when a reliever can become a trigger. 3. Apple Watch support. With the sleep tracker feature added to Migraine Buddy, the option to wear my watch to bed over keeping my phone on my bed is a safer option for me personally as I am likely to knock the phone off the bed and cracking the screen..Version: 26.1.0

I N C R E D I B L EI never do app reviews but OMG migraine buddy deserves one. I’m a chronic migraine sufferer, have been for years. I have tried soooo many apps and nothing compares to migraine buddy. I can track my attacks, symptoms, triggers, everything! Super insightful!! Highly recommend this app to any migraine sufferers!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!.Version: 30.2.0

Happy (for the most part)Great app, helpful tool ! Wish it was a bit more customizable and of course the most helpful app features are only usable with a paid monthly subscription 😞.Version: 46.0.6586

Great App! Only use free versionHey all, This is a great app, I use only the free version and find it so helpful. My neurologist asked me to keep track of my migraines and this has been so easy and helpful. Keeps track of so many things and is simple and easy. Definitely recommend!.Version: 58.0.11483

A huge thank youI have used this wonderful app since May this year and I have been able to show the doctor that it is a chronic condition for me. Although there is no medication that helps me at least it is in my notes. Thank you for making this wonderful app, I can’t thank you enough I have had migraines since 1985 but just being able to let the doctor and myself realise how bad they are is priceless.🌹💖.Version: 29.1.5

Thank you! Life changingNever been one to review or have much online presence. Migraine is such a burden for so many people and at my wits end after a recent increase in attacks due to new job has taken umpteenth toll on our family life. Found this app as was curious to see if link with hormones and attacks. This does that and so much more. The thought of a diary to assess patterns is burdensome but this app takes that away. It’s flexible and user friendly and the dark screens mean not too bright use if pre/post attack. Reports will be handy for work reviews and doctors appointments. Recommend to my job share who loves it also. Documenting also gives cause to reflect & review triggers and modify behaviour ... no break from screen caused that; not enough water caused that one etc. You always knew it but somehow would just plough on anyway. Now I think; nope need the screen break or must drink or else I’ll be recording an attack. Keep up good work!.Version: 29.1.3

I appreciate this app.A lot of people have put a lot of time and effort into this app for the good of other people and I cannot thank you all enough for doing this. This is a genuinely useful app, highly recommend trying it to anyone who suffers from migraines..Version: 29.1.3

Best migraine app ever!!This migraine app is the best health app I have ever used. It covers everything about my migraine, possible triggers, treatments options tried, what helps or didn’t and suggestions on triggers. It basically covers everything about headaches and I’m loving it. It even allows me to add other health conditions that you have. The app regularly emails me with updates. Your report is readily available for my doctor if needed. The best thing about it is that it’s free!!! Thanks to you guys for allowing me to use this wonderful tool for free!.Version: 31.1.4

Incredible Tracking ToolMy doctor and I much appreciate this app. It makes tracking headaches in a timely and detailed way easy, and exports data in a usable format. The app has revealed trends that contrast with my memory: For example, I thought my headaches correlated with PMS and happened most often on weekends, when in fact most of them occur after PMS and during the work week. It also gives basic trends on which treatments I note as "helpful" most often. It takes several months to get enough of a sample size to find trends, but the dark interface, notifications, and supportive writing encourage me to log whenever I have a headache. Thank you for designing this so thoughtfully and for allowing patients to use this for free. Tracking trends and providing exports for my doctor are so valuable in finding tx for my headaches!.Version: 25.2.8

Such a useful app!!I am always skeptical when it comes to free apps, are they ever really free? What’s the catch? When is it going to ask for my card details? Well I’m so super happy to have found that Migraine Buddy app is totally free. I think there’s an option to upgrade somewhere but you don’t need to at all. It’s basic features are perfect for recording migraines and even just tension headaches. I LOVE how it records sleep too. It’s great for insurance purposes so that I can get the Botox treatments. It does this by recording and collecting all of your migraines and sleep patterns in detail with so many different options to choose from. If you have migraines and really just want to track for yourself to see how often they occur and how bad they are, then this is the app for you!!! You really won’t be disappointed!.Version: 31.1.2

Migraine Buddy is fantasticI love this app because it tracks patterns in my migraines and it warns me of vulnerability factors. It great to have the reports to show my doctor too and that it gives me tips to try when I’m having an attack..Version: 28.2.6

Outstanding appI started using this when i had post concussion syndrome and this was THE most valuable resource, it helped me communicate with my concussion specialist when the details were to hard to remember. I would also forget what to do to get relief during an attack as they were severe. It has come a long way since December 2016, and seems pretty perfect to me! Thank you for this tool Jenny!.Version: 65.0.12782

I love that you can custom make buttons that suit your medications, triggers and treatments!Easy to use although it does tend to be after the event has taken place as I usually can’t see during one! I use it sporodically now but then the noughts of migraines are more sporodic now than they used to be! I wish I had known about it and been well enough to use its features in the early days of tracking chronic daily migraines…but better late than never I spose!.Version: 52.0.9640

You need this app! This app was recommended to me by a fellow migraine sufferer. I’d never heard of it before but thought I’d give it a try. I’m so glad I did. I didn’t realise how many headaches and migraines I was having until I started logging them. I also didn’t realise how much of an impact it was having on my life such as missing social events. I’ve missed a lot of time from work and have been sent for various tests to try to find out what’s going on and this app will help when I’m asked questions by medical professionals about the frequency and severity of my attacks. Thank you for a brilliant and easy to use app..Version: 26.1.0

Great way to track for yourself or Dr.I’ve had migraines since I was a child and this has been such an effective way for me to track them. I’ve learned more about the nature of my migraines, what my triggers are, and what my best relief methods are. I discovered for instance that my migraines typically last 11+ hours on average! :O It was shocking to realize that I never fully registered that I was in pain for that long. It may seem like a lot of tracking at first, but it becomes second nature very quickly, forces you to think about the nature of your pain, and can be an invaluable tool to help you and your doctor come up with ideas for possible migraine treatment. Minor suggestion-it would be nice if there was another option aside from ‘male’ and ‘female’ in the gender options. I understand that some physical health factors are related to one or the other..but some are also related to being intersex/trans etc (differing hormones, etc) Even if the option was just ‘other’ that would be cool. :).Version: 25.2.8

So far so good!Highly impressed with app. Researched lots of options before using this app and am very impressed. Very easy to use and quick to fill out..Version: 23.2.4

Migraine Buddy is Great!Migraine buddy is slowly starting to unveil what causes my migraines and is changing the way I live for the better. I would recommend using this app to track how often you take your Triptans (if you take them) since you aren’t supposed to take them more than 10 times/month. Also helpful to show to doctors so they are aware of the extent of your migraines so they can treat you appropriately 👍.Version: 52.0.9640

Can’t Input Migraine Attack Duration or End Time.I couldn’t record an attack when selecting ‘migraine ended in sleep’ because I didn’t realise you needed to also input an end time for the migraine regardless, for the analytics of the app to work (the same can be said when selecting the option for a migraine starting in your sleep). Jenny solved this mystery for me which was great. I am now really enjoying the app and I can see it being incredibly useful for me..Version: 32.1.7

Great app! This is such a helpful app! The free version is amazing! It shows trends, suggests triggers and gives lots of tips and reading. Definitely recommend!.Version: 32.3.5

Even basic tells you so muchThis is great to keep track of my migraines. I just wish it had more options in the menstraul area for women. I’ve had a partial hysterectomy and don’t get periods, plus getting closer to menopause..Version: 49.0.7265

Very helpful and useful app 😀I’ve been a pre menstrual migraine sufferer for approx 20 years and recently my migraines have got progressively worse in duration and severity. Since using the app I’ve been able to pinpoint approx when I’m due to have a migraine and the app has provided some really great tips on how to manage them, aswell as giving me insight into the amount of meds I’m taking to keep the attacks under control. The only downfall is some interesting articles and advanced features are only available if your pay the premium..Version: 34.6.0

Best Migraine AppI want to start this off by saying how amazing this app is, I have been suffering with migraines since 2004, 16 years. With no clear trigger or cause. Die to the level of depth the app goes into I would totally recommend the app to anyone one who would like to use a very professional app. There is only one thing that I would like to see in the future and that is an app for the Apple Watch. Just as digital screens cause the migraine to worsen, so the app would speed up the logging process..Version: 32.2.2

ThankfulI truly appreciate this app. It really helps me collect and store the info relating to my attacks so I can see triggers and similarities as well as learn what helps me and others to feel better and maintain a healthy baseline. A great educational / knowledge base provides insights which help me get through migraine attacks and understand them better. Never have I experienced crashes or glitches. I think there are caring people behind this app- because the way things are laid out is pretty intuitive and those resources which are free are plentiful, which makes this a must for me. One of the most valuable aspects provided is a barometric monitor which provides updates on the changes in weather in my area. As most of my migraines are weather related (or triggered) this is a most valued resource for me and this one resource sold me on this app as I knew weather related migraines were taken seriously. Thank you to those who have created such a helpful and caring resource, it really is a blessing !.Version: 32.1.3

Amazing Migraine AppThis isn’t just a migraine tracking app. This is an entrance into an entire migraine sufferer community. I have met and chatted with so many migraine sufferers from all over the world and have gotten some great advice. I have been suffering for a while and I am glad all my experience can help others in the form or advice or just saying what I experienced. I feel like I have such a strong support network now all from the app. This apps purpose is to track migraines and it does that with ease. You can track the meds you take and what triggers you had that day to try and find migraine patterns. It’s so much better than me logging it onto my calendar. This way it is all on one place and if I lose my phone all my data is saved on my account through the app unlike my calendar method. Great job Migraine Buddy!!! Keep up with the good work!!.Version: 26.1.2

Most useful app I ownI found this app while looking for a migraine tracker and I love it. The amount of detail it goes into and how easy it is to use is great. The only thing I would love to see is a section where I can record what birth control I use and period tracker, as many of my migraine seem to be caused by my implant Nexplanon and it would be helpful to be able to see if there is a correlation between the two..Version: 28.2.6

Très facile à utiliserApplication très conviviale. Merci.Version: 55.0.10951

InsightfulThis has helped a lot to find triggers and treatments options as well as tracking how often I get migraines and whether they are more likely around hormonal periods. I couldn’t live without my migraine buddy..Version: 46.0.6586

Highly recommend, I’ve been using this app for yearsI’ve been using the free version for years, and this is one of the few apps that gives you fantastic free use. If I hadn’t decreased my migraines (with this app), I’d probs pay for migraine buddy plus..Version: 53.0.10255

Good but slowVery well designed app that helps track a lot of useful and important data. I like being able to send my day to my gp in particular. The only negative is the insanely slow sleep tracking. Often have to wait upwards of five minutes on opening the app for it to register the previous night’s sleep..Version: 26.1.0

Best of the bunchI’ve used a lot of apps for my migraine. This has been the one I’ve stuck with. Highly recommend..Version: 48.0.7081

Fabulous appI’m so happy to find this app, along with the developers, who impart so much knowledge. I’ve learned a lot, even though I was well informed beforehand. The ability to track my attacks is so useful. Also, the forecasting of the barometric pressure is extremely useful during the spring and autumn when the weather is turbulent here, on the southwest coast of Canada. (AKA the Pacific Northwest to US residents.) I highly recommend subscribing. After 60 years of migraines, I still have much to learn and this app is excellent..Version: 67.0.12958

Perfect for tracking my migraines.I was referred to neuro 3 years ago and I only spoke to my neuro a year ago. Prior to that I decided to track my migraines myself, from food/weather/activities all the goings on around my migraine logged. I’ve been able to relay the information to my neurologist at appointments now which have helped to note if treatment is helping, which has helped me go from daily/every other day to maybe one or two but only every 3/4 weeks, (slightly more intense but I have some of my life back.) The ability to track my migraines and add in weather at the same time is brilliant. I am definitely impacted by pressure and humidity. Watch support for sleeping etc would be just the icing on top though. I use my watch daily as sleep is huge for migraine triggers. (I’ve seen on other responses you’re working on this, can’t wait to see this rolled out).Version: 51.0.8972

Five Star AppMigraine Buddy is an excellent program for recording your migraines. The reports (especially symptoms, triggers, and weather) help you find patterns and then makes suggestions to help you improve control over your migraines. Very powerful! Guys, get the Plus version if there is any way that you can swing it. It is SO worth it for the extra information, reports, and helping you realize that you can control your own destiny when it comes to migraines. Even if you have had migraines for years (60+ years for me) and even if your migraines are severe (most of mine were level 7-9 for pain) I can guarantee that Migraine Buddy can help you. I have tried numerous programs and this one is by far the best. By the way if you are having trouble affording the Plus version keep an eye out on the program itself. Throughout the year they offer special deals like $20 off or even half price. Thank you Jenny! Thousands (maybe even hundreds of thousands) of people have benefitted from your hard work. I personally cannot even put into words my gratitude..Version: 60.0.11928

A great tracker!I’ve been suffering with migraines for 4 years now, and my doctor only provided drugs to “help” and no reasons as to why I was getting the migraines in the first place. This app helps me track when, where and why I’m getting my migraines and offers solutions to help prevent, and soothe them as well! I recommend this app to everyone!.Version: 59.0.11654

Excellent appThank you for creating this app. I find it a simple and effective way of tracking my migraines..Version: 15.2.5

Best buddy! This app is truly amazing! I’ve found logging my migraines a breeze since I downloaded it. The information stored at your fingertips is invaluable, from tracking the start, finish, type, pain, meds, to your average sleep pattern. It’s all there ready and available whenever you need it. If you’re questioning yourself over the usefulness of this app, don’t! Try it, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed..Version: 29.1.3

Wonderful app, but too many notifications and InsightsI’ve been using the app for quite a while now, and it is far better than any other I have tried. The detail of information it gives it great. The only downside for me is the frequency of notifications and the red badge on the app telling me there are new insights. There are A LOT of new insights, and several of them are just silly quizzes and jokes. And often there are no new insights at all even though the badge says there are several. This is a minor problem, I know. I’d turn off notifications for this app only the ones for when you’re having an attack are really useful. Can you filter the stuff you get notified about?.Version: 32.2.2

Good butI like the app but I find it difficult to clear the notifications because they are tucked in all “corners” of the app. I like to clear notifications quickly and easily. This makes me like the app less..Version: 58.0.11483

Worth the effortIt is a bit more involved than other apps I’ve tried, but the fact that it provides a summary statistics for you is really helpful and worth ensuring that you into the data, I think it will be quite difficult if you had a really bad attack, but perhaps should be able to do that retrospectively, you can really tailor it to your own symptoms, which I think is important given the individual nature of symptoms that people experience with migraine.Version: 63.0.12446

Widget this!I love this app so much and have used it for years! It’s tracked a lot of my migraines over the years and find it helps my doctors what types of migraines I get. Unfortunately when I get migraines my brain gets super fuzzy and forget to track time to time and would love to be able to add migrainebuddy as a quick widget so I’m able to track the time start/finish without having to open the application everytime. ~Cheers!.Version: 51.0.8878

Great tracking appSuch a useful app to track all aspects of your migraine attacks and will keep checking in on you. Provides information on up to date treatments or possible news and allows you to be in touch with others in chat rooms. Is so so useful and an incredible app!!!.Version: 65.0.12782

This is the one you want.I haven’t been back to my neurologist since starting to use this app, but I am looking forward to having a lot more trends to share. You know, all that info they are expecting from a time your brain is fuzziest & lack of quality sleep has temporarily consumed your short-term memory. The screens are customizable, can add to during your changing attack, or an area can be skipped and returned to later if you just don’t have enough focus time left to do it right that instant. The fact that the screens are DARK make recording possible. Somebody with migraines finally developed a useful migraine app! Love the migraine buddy option as well. It updates my husband of a new migraine without me having to do anything extra (like opening up a bright phone/text screen). I haven’t utilized the community aspect of this app, but it is helpful to see the # of people in your area also suffering that day (weather/allergen interaction). The reports are looking promising so far. Lots more but these are the features I’m impressed with most thus far..Version: 24.0.9

Best AppI was looking for an app to track my migraines and try find triggers. It works perfectly for what I need. Would highly recommend this app it’s so easy to use and incredibly thorough!.Version: 24.2.7

So Helpful! Wish they had more options for hormonal changes for women.Hey there. So far, I have found this app to be exceptional in the details, information, and personalized help they provide for documenting migraines. Unfortunately, the only question the app asks is if you are on your period. Besides that, there are no questions that refer back to hormones. From my limited knowledge and experience and what I’ve heard from doctors, migraines often stem from swift hormonal changes in women ranging from early teens to menopause. The problem is that not all women just get them on their period, but right before or after, or before, during and after ovulation. My suggestion would be for this app to create a period tracker they would take the information from. Or even put more questions about where you are on your cycle in the attack diary. Besides this, I absolutely love the app! Thanks!.Version: 26.1.2

Amazingly HelpfulThis is such a great app I wish I had downloaded it before. It’s so easy to use, helps you to easily record symptoms (and making me realize I get symptoms I hadn’t noticed before). It offers such flexibility with the information you record and gives you such a clear picture of frequency. I’ve been having migraines for almost twenty years and having something to easily record the attacks on is so helpful..Version: 30.2.3

Outil très intéressantL’application me permet de garder en mémoire les différents événements de migraine. Très détaillée, elle m’aide à faire mes suivi médicaux..Version: 62.0.12179

Best app ever for migraneurs! A MUST for you and your doctor!I have been using this app for about 5 years! (1) It's free! (2) It is useful for you and your neurologist! (3) It is a wonderful tool for documentation for not your doctor but also for your insurance company regarding Precertification for meds or procedures appeals, and for SS disability if necessary via the app’s export option! Be certain to check out that important option! Words are inadequate to express how helpful it has been to me. (4) It provides migraine education through articles and the like. I share this info and encourage every migraneurs about this wonderful app! I also asked my neuro to share the information! Thank you, MigraineBuddy! I’m so appreciative! I used to have 4-6 migraine days weekly. Since dropping all the other drugs except Emgality, Reyvow, and using my CefalyDual, I am having about 4-6monty and duration and severity have decreased! The past 90 days, I had 70 attack free days! I have my life back! Thank you for helping me to discover triggers and helping keep my neuro well-informed! You are the best!.Version: 32.3.3

Should Be #1 Free App in the App Store 👍🏾Very detailed app. You can input when the headache started and ended, its triggers, what medications you took, how it affected you, etc. The app even has built-in weather so you can start determining the type of weather just in it had anything to do with your headaches. Great app. And it's free!!! Update (Sep 26, 2020) This is still the #1 app in the App Store. I honestly can’t keep up with the updates so frankly I’m behind. What I like most is that the developers haven’t been greedy like other app developers and tried to nickel and dime us by charging subscription fees yep their product keeps improving. It’s the only app I have that I can’t keep up with the updates. How’s that for a complaint!!! My only recommendation is that is would be even better if the sleep tracking could be incorporated into the Apple Watch. This would make the time I'm sleep more accurate versus the time the phone goes on and off the charger. Im still giving 5 stars though..Version: 34.1.2

Yes on this app if you get migrainesI am very glad I’ve found this app. It helps shed a lot of insight onto my migraines. I’ve had them for years and never realized how frequent thy can be until I started recording them. The app also educates you on migraines. I have learned a lot that I didn’t know just by using this app! I’m seeing a chiropractor now and I highly recommend. Yes a lot of money but I had to do something, these headaches were really starting to effect my life. He said a good portion of people that go to chiropractors is for headaches/migraines. Something I didn’t know so throwing that out there for anyone wanting to fix the root of the problem. Migraines are caused by the cervical nerves getting impinged partially or fully. I believe this is due to our muscles getting tight from stress. So it managing stress. When I’m working out and eating clean I have way less migraines. So it’s consistently eating right, working out/walking/moving my body and stress management, taking the magnesium supplements that help me hugely along with seeing a chiropractor. He said you can go for quick relief like one session here and there or constantly to realign your spine and fix the root of the problem. This has all been a discovery process for me so I hope anything I’ve hated her can help someone! The app is seriously a must if you get migraines!!!!.Version: 31.1.4

Useful appThis app has been helpful for studying my intense headaches more carefully. It’s very detailed and allows to record what you think might be your triggers (pet headache), what relief methods you’ve tried and which you haven’t, where it started etc. It also checks in on you so you know that if it’s lasted for a long time it’s probably worth adjusting your relief tactics. It’s been really helpful for me to keep a clear mind when I’m in that position and to logically try different solutions and now I can identify my top 3 solutions. I am still struggling however to identify what my triggers are and I hope the app will help me more with this in future..Version: 29.1.5

Perfect app for tracking migrainesI was so happy when I found this one. I suffer from a lot of headaches and all the other apps weren’t able to collect the kind of data I needed. This has it all headache intensity (with description for each level), a way to track the medication and non medical things done to try and defeat the headache (with the ability to rate how well each worked during that attack) track potential triggers and the type of aura and affect the migraine is having on you and how it has impacted your day. It also contains a diagram to say where you are feeling the migraine. Then after a few headaches it can provide insights. While it collects a lot it’s a simple interface to enter it, where you are not swamped with questions and have the choice to do the thinking later if it’s that bad..Version: 29.1.3

Recommended by my doctorI downloaded it and have used it for the last 3 attacks so far. I have learned so much about potential triggers and about the auras. It has widened my understanding of my migraine within a short period of time..Version: 47.0.6984

Such a great appI use the notes section the most. This app is the best one for it. I can describe what I feel, what changes I have, and I can add things all along the way. I do wish I could change the intensity level during the migraine period since I have chronic migraine and it just never ends. I will feel terrible in my body and have all the cold extremities, the sensitivities, fatigue, and ear ringing and dizziness, but not the headache. So it’s hard to put that into a migraine intensity number. Maybe add another section for intensity of symptoms. With or without the headache. With vestibular migraine as well, I learned I most likely have that- it explains a lot as to why I feel so bad in between big attacks. But I love that I can email info. But I wish the link didn’t expire after 14 days. I can’t always print tons of pages, but I want to have a backup of my reports. Thank you so much for this app !.Version: 26.1.2

Fantastic appThis is such a great app to record your migraines and the reports that you can great are just fantastic. Certainly great information you can use to discuss treatment options with your doctors..Version: 30.2.0

ReviewHave only been using this for just over a month and I don't know what I'd do without it now. It's my life line. Only problem I have is remembering to put an end time on my headaches/migraines and also I suffer with lots of little ones in a day which usually just get recorded as 1 big headache. Also would be good to be able to change the scale of pain you are in after taking something that helps to relieve the pain and hopefully watch the pain lower to its gone!!.Version: 23.4.1

Great assistanceI’ve recently started using this app to track my migraines as I’m terrible at tracking thru other means as I’ve been asked by my Dr so that he can decide next course of tx for my migraines.. It’s easy to use altho sometimes I can’t do much more than press start of migraine but I ❤️ that I can do this and return to edit l8r.. I found this app thru the migraine summit for others that r interested as one of their recommended apps for sufferers to track to aid with tx.. thanx migraine buddy 😊.Version: 26.1.0

Great (when I remember to use it!)I like how inclusive it is with medications and triggers - makes for great insight into what’s working and what’s not..Version: 38.0.1535

Great support from Jenny at Migraine BuddyI recently had an issue with my account on the Migraine Buddy app, through my own fault and almost lost all my records. Jenny and the Migraine Buddy Team were able to help me fix it. They were very prompt with their responses and found a solution. Thank you Jenny. Marty..Version: 51.0.8972

Using it to record all headaches - great so farI’ve suffered with migraine for most of my life since childhood. I’ve tried all sorts but Zomig seems to be the best for me. I really like the way this app keeps track of symptoms and lets me keep a freehand diary too. It’s really intuitive and the insights are great. One thing I feel is missing is an Apple Watch app. Even if it’s just to record a start and end date and time. I can’t bear looking at my screen when I have an attack and having a Watch app would mean I don’t have to. I always have my watch on so I could be even more accurate when recording my attacks. Only reason it’s missing the last star because otherwise this is the best resource I’ve ever had. Thank you!!!.Version: 50.0.8074

Awesome Migraine ToolMy doctor still wants me to keep track of my migraines on paper. It is difficult for me- I’ve rarely been up to the task especially on migraine days. This APP has has enabled me to track my migraines over years and share specific info that I choose through “reports” with anyone I am working with. And the app has improved considerably over the years I have been using it. The team is open to suggestions and has implemented so many great upgrades! My Migraines have declined significantly in frequency, duration and intensity over the last few years; and my use of medicine has declined significantly with the app being a significant contributor to my success. Tracking vital information, having an informed and committed community of like people to share ideas with, and getting updates of new medicines, techniques, and tools is invaluable. I wish all apps were as user-friendly and all developers were as committed to quality, instrumental development and timely upgrades. Thank you!.Version: 31.1.4

So helpfulI’ve been using since December 2017 and it really helps me keep track of my symptoms and patterns. Keeping a written diary was too hard when I was in the midst of a migraine. This simplifies the process and gathers consistent, detailed data. I share my data with my doctor and he’s recommended Migraine Buddy to other patients too. It really is a little buddy on my darkest days! Thank you for making it, and for making it free..Version: 26.1.0

I recommend this app to my friendsI tried several other apps before discovering this one and have not used it for several years. It is the best of all I’ve tried; a great app that is user friendly and easy to use. Have only needed customer support once over the years but it was a great experience. I’ve recommended to migraineur friends and they love it, and a neurologist was very impressed, too, appreciating the reports produced. Easy to use during an attack or for recording later, I thoroughly recommend this app..Version: 48.0.7081

Great AppThis a a great app. I have been using it for several years now. The last few months my sleep times aren’t automatically updating. It is consistently about 1 week behind. Not sure if it’s a glitch..Version: 62.0.12179

Comprehensive and FriendlyIf this app has a fault, it’s that it’s too good! There are lots of options and pages to navigate but they make for a great choice of information to help you and your doctor better understand your issues. It’s also very friendly- I supplied some feedback about a feature I’d have liked the app to have, and I quickly got a reply which, not surprisingly, explained was already there! After some playing around I’ve streamlined my record keeping experience and found the app to be quick and intuitive to use. They also provide information via email and within the app which is helpful, encouraging and serves to remind me that I’m not alone in my migrainous world..Version: 30.2.0

Great App...but some suggestionsMust have been created my a fellow migraine sufferer. Only suggestion... would benefit from being able to date and time stamp medications and other reliefs automatically with the ability to adjust and add multiple listings for those of us that have days old migraines that need multiple meds etc and time sleeps etc. I would also like to sync with my Fit bit or iPhone health app to get my sleep data it’s much more accurate.Version: 24.4.2

Well designed and useful App!This app has been super helpful for me to remember things to tell my doctor. Being able to have accurate information about attacks is fantastic. It's also very user-friendly and easy to use. Highly recommend!.Version: 24.0.9

So helpfulVery user friendly, helpful and important to help track headaches and migraines..Version: 54.0.10582

IPhone issuesThis was the best migraine app. I really like how it collates and tracks everything. But now that it no longer shows up in the notifications in settings on the iPhone I get no notifications from this app. I’ve tried everything. My notifications are setup right inside the app, but since it’s not in iPhones notifications listing on my phone it no longer gives me any notifications. I find that without the notifications I hardly ever use the app anymore. My migraines haven’t gone away, I just don’t track them. I was quite reliant on the app to remind me to update my latest migraine. Without that well I haven’t done anything. It also doesn’t update me that the chats are messaging. I have several chats that are supposed to pop up when people message and I know they are active as I’ve checked on them. But I get no notifications about it at all. It’s sad, cause I really used this app a lot in the beginning..Version: 26.1.2

Wonderful AppVery helpful for tracking my migraine attacks and the specifics that go along with them. Highly recommend to anyone with migraine or headache disease..Version: 67.0.12958

You need this!I’ve had migraines for decades and I often tried to keep a diary…on paper, on my google calendar…but I was never able to be consistent, and often I’d just write, “migraine”. This is so easy to use and having a list of icons for tracking where the pain is, and potential triggers is extremely helpful. There’s also a blog-like section with new information almost every day, which is really informative. Now I’m actually seeing that I have way more migraines that I thought (it’s much more debilitating than I realized) and I’m starting to see a picture of what my potential triggers are..Version: 49.0.7265

Amazing app!☺️This app is incredible. It not only helps u record and track ur migraines but it also helps u figure out potential triggers and on top of that also provides u with a community which helps u realise u are not alone in the hard fight against migraines. One thing I was wondering however is that I muted one of the chats I was in and can not find where to unmute it so that I can have notifications from it again. Where do I do that?.Version: 32.3.5

Great resource in paid premium versionI’ve been using the free version tracker for 6 years, and just upgraded to paid premium version to gain access to more resources. I have daily cluster headaches triggered by food and weather. I found the Good Days food program to be very effective, and helping me reduce my type of headaches. The premium membership is expensive, but for me the extra resources on food triggers was worth it..Version: 51.0.8972

CarlaI love the app as well as the ease of use. I like that I can add in all my quirky side effects. I have also been able to track some Fibromyalgia symptoms with it as well by using the notes section. I have recommend it to all my friends with migraine as well. Hi My only complaint is that I tried to cancel on a 7 day trial thing for some added bells and whistles. After looking at them I tried to cancel on the 6th day, but for some reason whatever it was the cancellation did not go through. Now I can’t seem to get my money back. Even though I told them that I did cancel it. I don’t know why the cancellation did not go through. Needless to say I am very upset, The subscription was $69. I have not heard back from them. My first email I told them that I had tried to cancel. The 2nd email I told them again that I had tried to cancel on the 6th day. I have not had a response. I have sent a 3rd email asking for a refund..Version: 33.1.1

Excellent!I tried other apps before and I think this one has everything I was looking for. It’s also easy to use so that’s another plus..Version: 66.0.12851

LOVE THIS APPThankyou so much for creating this app. I suffer with Cluster headaches, SUNCT syndrome and also migraines, and using this app to record the times and symptoms is so easy, and the fact you can send the reports directly to your doctor from the app or you can print them off is brilliant. Before I was recommended this app, I had to record every single headache time and symptoms with pen and paper which took so long and often caused more headaches! Now, with this app it’s all so much simpler. THANKYOU.Version: 28.2.4

Migraine BuddyI am a Chronic Migraine sufferer This AP is the best for recording and reporting I can send my monthly and quarterly reports to my neurologist to help him understand everything going on from triggers to sleep patterns to humidity and pressures and send me Treating doctor a report in a pdf for him to have when I consult with him every 12 weeks. Is so much better then a manual diary has so many extra features which helps with planning important events dates meetings etc. I am a very busy person I own and operate 6 businesses. And this diary has been a blessing. I highly recommend it to people who suffer any types of headaches or head neurological problems. I love it and use it all the time. I must say that when I have a severe migraine the last thing I want to do is pick up my phone which I usually can’t read any way or feel to nauseated to do so. But. Even at my worst I can manage to recorded a few things going on. Then later when sort of back to normal again I am able to edit my attack which is really good to be able to go back and review and edit before sending the report to my neurologist By the way. My neurologist is yet to comment I will let you know what he’s thoughts are about this app when I see him next. Been using this app for a little over 4 months and it’s very interesting to go back over and review what been happening Love this ap.Version: 48.0.7081

5* - Really helpful migraine tracker 😌Have been using this to track my migraines for four years now. The way you can add in or remove monitoring factors such severity, location of headache and menstrual cycle helps tailor your specific monitoring and what’s important for you. You can also add in personalised triggers and symptoms if they’re not already preloaded. The calendar is a great way to see headache patterns over time which means you can factor in looking after yourself that bit better when you predict your next one. Great tracker, useful info and really responsive help desk if you need to check anything out. Great all round app! Thanks..Version: 51.0.8972

Best App EVERI have suffered from migraines for 2 years and trying to keep track of them was a nightmare! Then 1 day I find this app! Best day ever! It is so easy to track and the added bonus of the remind me later option ( bottom left side ) is a life saver! Not to mention, all the options you have and can add yourself, like the triggers, pain level, notes which includes a time stamp of when you took your meds!! This app is hands down the easiest to use AND you can send reports to your Dr or save them to send at a later time of need be!! I highly recommend using this app and take part in ever feature it has to offer!! Even the surveys! This app is filled with so much information! Wonder job Jenny and team! I can’t wait to see what you have in store for future updates!! And Jenny, thank for the reply to my email!.Version: 28.2.6

Life changingI cannot recommend this app enough. I was a bit sceptical at first as I couldn’t appreciate what use this would be to me. I couldn’t have been more wrong! It is so easy to use, and was an excellent tool to use when I saw my General Practitioner then later my Neurologist. I had clear evidence of my symptoms, pain and frequency which couldn’t be ignored. My treatment has now improved and my symptoms are becoming more manageable. Very grateful to the app developers..Version: 31.1.4

Excellent app! This is a very useful app which I’m finding a great help in learning more about my chronic migraine. It’s very straightforward and intuitive to use, even during a migraine when my brain isn’t working properly; I’m not sure if it’s deliberate but even the colours used on the screens are subtle and not too glaring. The addition of the weather and barometric pressure info is great as these are significant triggers for me. The support from the app team is great too, prompt and responsive; and they seem very friendly too. I highly recommend this to anyone who experiences migraine..Version: 31.1.4

Intuitive and easy to use.I’ve tried so many ways of tracking my migraines over the years. This app is the first thing that has lasted for me. A friend suggested it two years ago and I show it off to anyone who will listen. I really appreciate that putting in a new episode is simply a matter of going through a grid of pictorial icons. Best of all I can add my own if I’m having a symptom or using a treatment that isn’t listed. It automatically tracks my sleep and local weather if I turn on those options do I don’t have to write them down anymore. Additionally I can send reports to myself as emails, PDFs, spreadsheets... the creators have provided many options and platforms so that my doctor and family know how to help me. Last but not least there are groups that I can join or ignore with people who are on the same meds, who have the same types of migraines, or who live in my area. So I can ask for advice if I want to. There are even areas where I can jot myself notes to accompany a migraine episode or sleep record. For times when I’m sick with the flu or the neighbors dog barked all night. I LOVE this app!.Version: 24.3.3

Amazing!!Such a great resource for tracking migraine attack, figuring out triggers, and getting to know what relief methods work best for you. I also love that it tracks the pressures in your area, which is a really good predictor for potential migraines!.Version: 63.0.12468

Really functional! This is such an amazing app! I used to have so much trouble with keeping a headache diary for my neurologist. Being able to log it while you actually have it and edit it as you go is so useful..Version: 26.1.0

Single most helpful tool in 15+yearsAs someone who’s struggled with chronic debilitating migraines for over 15 years and tried so so many different things without any success... I’d also tried many different tracking methods and finally decided that tracking wasn’t going to help, but hinder, as it caused too much focus on the migraines and I needed to focus on living. But this app has changed all of that!!! THANK YOU Migraine Buddy for creating something that helps me do both! For helping me easily, quickly and simply input data about my migraines, keep track, and keep living my life to the best of my ability. But ALSO, the oh so helpful tools, connection with the community, reports, weather (my biggest trigger has always been barometric pressure!! - and now for the first time EVER I have the ability to plan to the hour of when I can take my meds or know when I’m going to start going downhill just to know even if I can’t take one of my meds... it’s helps to know if I need to buck up or to go lay down if I can), ability to see patterns, etc... this app and its tools has been the single most helpful thing in the last decade for me of communicating with my doctors, identifying my auras, and figuring out what actually helps. Thank you!! All in a way that doesn’t take over my life and keep me fixated on my migraines - they are already present enough! If you have migraines and are thinking about this app - GET IT!.Version: 31.1.4

Great resource! Thanks to Jenny who always helps sort out my app issues..Version: 51.0.8972

Very usefulI started using this app a few months ago and boy am I glad, just been asked to keep a diary so I can be referred into further specialists. This makes it so easy. I love how you can click the different symptoms and picked the different meds you’ve taken and what the triggers or helps are. Then after so many records it can help to find possible triggers and common symptoms etc. Makes me feel a lot less scared knowing that the symptoms are normal and that migraines can be so different every day..Version: 25.2.2

THANK YOU!!!!What an incredible resource. I live in Calgary and suffer more frequently when we have Chinooks and this helped me confirm my hunch that increases in pressure more than decreases It also taught me that sinus pressure is a warning sign for me that I had no idea about! Now if my sinuses are getting stuffy even without migraine symptoms I do a saline nasal rinse and take my steroidal nasa spray to help reduce the severity of some and possibly stop others (can’t ever be entirely sure you didn’t get one 😉) Yes, it does take time to develop your data to generate reports but sooooo worth it Thank you so much to the developers and people who help keep this app running ❤️.Version: 32.1.4

Migraine Buddy is greatI started using this app a month ago. Usually when I have a migraine the last thing I want to do stop and think about all the aspects of it. This app allows me to quickly log the migraine. My neurologist spends a long time trying to tailor the treatment to the aspects of the headaches....now I can give her accurate information..Version: 25.2.8

FantasticHave been using this for a while to track migraines. Detailed data so useful to see how many times I have need to take migraine medication vs regular medication. Pressure variation also useful. Would love to see Apple Watch app integration so I can just click a button on the watch to start migraine instead of opening my phone..Version: 34.1.2

Easy to useHaving had migraines since I was 10 (45 yrs ) and battling with GP and employers who don’t understand how it affects you during or after an attack it’s been nice to finally find an app that lets me log my attacks in detail. Even better I can start the record and finish the details once the attack is over which is very handy. I used pen and paper before to show my GP but this only indicated how many I was having each month, I’m now up to 12 attacks a month (menapause) and the Callander shows there is a pattern. Well done Migraine buddy’s this app is great x.Version: 30.2.4

Migraine Buddy Best app for migraine tracking and documentationGreat app to help those who have migraines to track each hmigraine attack duration, intensity, characteristics and triggers Valuable tool to use when visiting. Doctors and specialist in determining treatment and discovering your unique patterns to this neurological disease.Version: 38.0.1535

So Helpful!!This app has been life-changing in such a positive way!! I had been looking for an app just like this for many years, but had finally given up until December of 2019 when my doctor and I decided to start me on a rather new medication. It tends to take several months to work, and I had no previous reliable data about my migraine duration or strength, so my doctor also suggested a couple of migraine tracking apps, his personal recommendation being Migraine Buddy. Not only did it clearly and concisely display the evidence of my medication working, it’s efficacy, and the effects of things like late or missed doses; it also allowed me to be able to provide my doctors with far better information regarding my attacks than I had ever managed to give in the past! It has taken a great deal of stress off my shoulders:-D.Version: 34.6.0

Definitely the BEST!I get headaches/migraines almost weekly and with this app I’ve been learning what triggers them as well as what helps get rid of them. After about 8-10 recordings you get some awesome statistics to show your doctor/physio/osteopath etc. or just to check out for yourself. I highly recommend!.Version: 25.2.8

AmazingThis app has really helped me record my attacks and look for patterns. I suffer quite badly with aura and I’d like to see more symptom checks against the entire body not just the head. I know it’s going to be super bad if my index finger gets pins and needles and my face goes numb, a quicker way of recording that would be great! I really love the way it’s designed not to be bright and that it reminds you about ongoing attacks if you’ve been asleep for two days..Version: 24.0.9

Wonderful appThis app was recommended to me by my neurologist and has been a complete game changer! Having suffered with migraines for over 20 years and never really understood much about them, I am now able to spot the triggers and early warning signs so I can take triptans at the right time. This app has helped me identify my personal triggers and what works to alleviate the symptoms for different types of migraine attacks. Amazing app which has helped lessen the frequency of my migraines and shortened the duration when they do hit. A heartfelt thank you to the developers!.Version: 50.0.8074

AmazingAm new to tracking migraines and this one was recommended to be online. It is easy to use and I love the dark screen so I can log in the middle of an attack! Great app! Thanks.Version: 46.0.6586

So helpfulI have found this app incredibly helpful! I was searching “tips for migraines” and a youtuber recommended this app. So interesting to see where and when I most frequently get migraines and whether or not they are linked to my sleeping patterns..Version: 25.1.2

Used to be a cool app to track migrainesNot any more. Takes forever to enter a new episode..Version: 48.0.7081

Thank you for making this appA really useful app to journal or record headache activity. Makes it simple and the best thing is being able to look back at patterns and trends which Is the apps purpose. If you suffer from headaches of any kind and feel like they occur just a little too often then get this app and make some notes. This will help you and your drs assist in making the situation a little less awful. In the future I would love to see Siri Shortcuts integration to quick start a record. Also maybe a watch app for simple start and adjustments to an attack..Version: 26.1.2

Amazing !This app is a dream come true. I see many different doctors and specialists that need every bit of information about my migraines. I use to try and track it my self but now their is this app that is amazing. Really great app you can not and record just about everything when you are having a migraine..Version: 24.4.7

Amazing app!I’m a medical student married to a doctor and we both think this app is incredible. I’ve been a long time sufferer of severe headaches that don’t quite fit with the usual migraine symptoms and this app has been so helpful in tracking these headaches and learning some of the triggers for them. Thanks to this app I learned that my period is one of the biggest triggers and I can now anticipate those headaches! I wouldn’t change a single thing about this app. I highly recommend it to anyone that suffers from headaches or migraines..Version: 26.1.0

Please add Apple Watch integrationThis is an excellent app, but what is massively missing for me is Apple Watch integration. Often with migraine for me the pain intensifies on moving, so looking for a phone to log migraine there and then at the time or during an attack isn’t an option. It would be massively helpful if this was on the Apple Watch with a diagram of a head where you could press the area of the pain and a simple severity scale, or just have one simple button to press on your watch to log an attack there and then (head shaped for those who struggle with concentration and basic tasks during migraine) so it’s logged instantly but the user could update the detail on the app once the migraine is less severe. This is my only reason for 4/5. My favourite part of this app is the head diagram, although I’d also like the option to log if the pain has moved to another area during an attack. Often my migraine pain might start through one eye, but it can move all over my head and to my other eye. It would be great to be able to add this..Version: 51.0.8972

Almost Five StarsOne of the best apps for managing migraines. It loses one star for the UI and the inadequate head map, it has eyes and head but no section jus for the forehead. The best part is the ability to export reports..Version: 51.0.8972

Great Migraine trackerMigraine is troubling enough without trying to remember particular details when updating your Doctor. This is a great tool for recording attacks, symptoms and severity. So you are clear on frequency, duration and severity. Also helps to highlight changes that may be occurring that you push aside with just the sheer agony and helplessness of attacks..Version: 54.0.10582

Brilliant appAfter having my first ever migraine aged 30, a week before my daughters birth in December 2000, I have suffered them ever since and had so many in a very short time period which I blamed on my hormones yet they continued after her birth and here I am, 19 years later still getting frequently whooped by them. After my daughters birth, I had another daughter and a son and was the victim of violence and coercive control in the marriage to their father and so it’s possible that stress was a contributory factor. However I am now with my childhood sweetheart and have been enjoying a lovely, peaceful life with him since 2011 and still have migraines. Originally Zomig were the wonder drugs which helped but the doctor changed them to Almogran, I expect Almos are cheaper as my friend had her prescription changed too. I’m determined to find a pattern/trigger to my migraines as they don’t appear to be when I’m having a fibromyalgia-flare up, or be period related although I do have 2 asymptomatic ovarian cysts. So far from looking at my reports, the migraines tend to be scattered all over the place but I hope in time either I will see a pattern or that my keeping a record will help my GP. Thanks for a fantastic app. It ticks all the boxes for what I need and there’s nothing extra I need..Version: 29.1.5

Brilliant AppSo glad I found this app. So easy to use. I used to record my attacks in a diary but if I hadn't got it on me at the time I would forget to add them so it was never a complete picture and you had to search back for information for medical appointments, this app does it all for me. Couldn't be more straight forward. Love the weather information to and look forward to future improvements regarding menstrual cycles. Loving it..Version: 23.4.1

Expensive but worth itIt costs a lot for the main package but so far it’s been incredibly useful as a tracker and for insights into other symptoms that I hadn’t thought were connected to my migraine. Really easy to get long term reports and see patterns plus the weather app and community chats means you feel a lot less lonely knowing that others are in similar journeys to you. It’s a work in progress and the app devs seem very invested in listening to the community and developing useful things as an ongoing process..Version: 61.0.12019

Great app 👍👍👍👍👍Highly recommend! Very helpful. First time i have used an app for tracking my migraines. Its very good. I like how you can add in your own symptoms and relief methods if they are not already on the lists. Very user friendly..Version: 23.4.1

I LOVE this appThis app is SO helpful for keeping track of my migraines and for my neurologist. There are also great articles and information networks. This app makes logging migraines easy!.Version: 48.0.7081

Great App!This app has helped me so much to track my migraines and be able to communicate with my doctor about what I’m experiencing. So often after a migraine is over I forget about how intense they are, or what may have triggered them, or how long I was truly affected. I also learned so much through the insights tab about triggers and ways that I can help myself feel better. Because of this I was finally able to narrow down a treatment that worked for me and reduce my migraines. It has also brought support of fellow sufferers and finally feeling like I’m not alone and that it’s not just in my head. I recommend the app to anyone I know that suffers from migraines to help them better understand what’s going on and to help connect them to a community that understands what they are going through..Version: 49.0.7265

Exceptional features and connect-to-provider listsThis is the first app review I have ever slowed down to contribute. Working in healthcare it takes a lot for a health-related app to impress me and I have been extremely impressed by Migraine Buddy. I like that I can add in my sleep time rather than rely on the overnight feature, which may be great I just have not tried it yet. I downloaded this app while visiting a family member who has pets and triggered ongoing migraines for me. I love that I could use the connect-to-a provider feature to locate acupuncturists nearby. There is a lot of flexibility within this app that makes it very easy to use on the go, during an attack, and to catch up with after an attack. I really like that I can add notes to the day because I personally like to include what I’m eating especially if it’s something unusual or new to me so that I can see if it makes a difference in the coming days. At this time, if I made a suggestion it would be to offer a food journal as a complement to the app that can be used along side it for tracking and reporting. I really look forward to seeing how the predictability alerts will help me gauge and treat my migraines. Life should only get better using Migraine Buddy!.Version: 24.4.7

Good for trackingGood overall, would like to see better options for logging migraines (e.g. "Yesterday")..Version: 23.1.6

Amazing once againThey seem to have resolved my one and only issue I had with the app! Up until recently, this app was great. It has many great features for tracking migraines and makes it easy to do so and see how many you’ve had in a month, and allows you to track many specific details about your migraines. However, recently, after I’m logging a migraine that is still in progress, EVERY TIME, I get a pop window for “Migraine Reminders.” This window says that in order to help prevent you from forgetting to close your entry, the app can send you reminders. It says you can turn them off at anytime. The only option to select is “Understood.” After selecting this, EVERY TIME it takes me to my notification settings for the app on my phone. If I wanted to set reminders, I would have done so the first 40+ times I’ve gotten this message. It’s terribly annoying that the only thing you can do from here is allow the app to open up your phone settings. Let’s say you fail to tap “understood” and just close the app instead. When you open the app again, the window will still be there waiting for you to tap on “understood.” I don’t want reminders!!.Version: 49.0.7265

Really HelpfulI started getting regular migraines after surviving Sepsis and this app has really helped me learn about the whole migraine process. Although I’ve not been able to find my triggers it has helped me identify my pre migraine symptoms and predict when I might get my next one. It also makes me feel slightly less alone when I’m having a migraine. One suggestion: It would be great if it could sync with my Garmin watch (or other devices)to auto add my sleep pasterns..Version: 34.6.0

Good appThis app is a great app for tracking all your migraine and headaches if I was to make one suggestion it would be that if you change the intensity of your migraine through out the tracking of it it recorded each time it changed in the notes automatically so you can see how it changes through out the migraine.Version: 30.2.4

Thank You Migraine Buddy :)I suffer from chronic migraines and daily headaches and while I have only been using this app for a little over a week now, I found it is by far the easiest and most accurate way to track the frequency of an attack while also recording the symptoms and potential triggers. When you suffer from as many migraines/headaches as I do logbooks, diaries and calendars are just too difficult to keep a record of - especially during an attack! Love this <3.Version: 28.2.6

If You Have Migraines, Please Try ThisI am so thankful for this app. It has opened my eyes to so many symptoms that I was experiencing but that I had no idea were related to my migraines. I am now 41 but started getting migraines when I turned 20. Both my mother and father (as well as other close relatives) experience migraines and so I am no stranger to the pain, strangeness and frustration that is being a migraineur. That being said, I still learned (and continue to learn) a great deal from Migraine Buddy. Even if you stick with the free version this app will give you a community of support, heaps of knowledge and advice as well as a superb way to keep track of your migraines. I honestly feel better prepared, both physically & psychologically, since downloading Migraine Buddy. I cannot say enough good things about this app..Version: 46.0.6586

So helpfulThis app is brilliant! It provides a simple, fast and effective way of tracking migraines..Version: 23.3.1

The best app for Migraine sufferers!Migraine Buddy is a wonderful app where I can record details of attacks, track frequency and intensity of attacks plus much more, all of which can be provided to doctors. It also has wonderful support groups that you can join where lots of helpful advice is shared but also general understanding support of this medical condition is given. I could not survive without this app!.Version: 34.6.0

Brilliant + so helpfulNot just a well thought out + useful app, but a sense of support in assisting understanding this sometimes very debilitating issue + deciphering triggers. A great tool too for educating my partner in how varied + individual migraines can be - he quiet enjoys competing any attack details fir me 😁 Highly recommended!.Version: 28.2.6

Surprisingly more helpful than I thought!Since this app tracks your sleep, I was able to actually see I wasn’t getting enough sleep. I have chronic migraines that last for days. Being able to see the migraines and sleep patterns on the calendar, put it into perspective. My big wish, however, would to be able to track medications and times taken even when not having a migraine. With my flustering brain fog, I’m always asking myself, “what time did I take that med? It’s also helped me to keep going strong without a triptan. Something about visualizing it helps me to see if I can make it through without a triptan since I’m not feeling too horrible and can wait it out. Too many triptans have a rebound effect and can actually get to a point they no longer help. Thanks for this wonderful app! 🙏💜.Version: 26.1.0

Superb migraine trackerSuch a useful migraine tracker! Collects information I wouldn’t even think to collect but which is definitely relevant. I like the well thought through details in it- describing the levels of pain, time stamping meds, extra details in reports as we go, etc. I wish I could hit a button to say I’ve had approximately x many migraines I didn’t log in (broke and replaced my phone). I wish I could say which meds I take regularly. Some of the migraine meds are my regular medications so I don’t know whether to say I took them or not. My regular meds change, so from seeing doctor to doctor they might see me when I’m on different meds to what I was on earlier. And I wish I could describe what symptoms of my chronic illness I currently have during any migraine, to see if there are correlations there (I guess those are covered with other symptoms). I am blown away by this app. It is by far the best out there. And so much better than I would’ve thought up myself. Thank you guys for creating it!!.Version: 32.3.3

100% Benefit.Recommended by both my Physiotherapist and Doctor. It’s a really handy tool that we’re really using to try and find cause and effect, and it’s been so beneficial. The tracking tools are incredible, and the spaces for qualitative data entry are super helpful..Version: 29.1.5

Exactly what I need!I’m diagnosed with chronic migraines and idiopathic intracranial hypertension and was looking for a way to better catalogue my migraines and high pressure headaches so that I could understand my triggers and patterns, what works and what doesn’t, duration, the different types of headaches I get to see which affects me at what point, plus a plethora of other things such as humidity and environmental (I’ve realised this is a big factor) and tracking it physically was too difficult and seemed too big of a task. This app combines it all perfectly and effortlessly and is exactly what every migraine/headache sufferer needs. My neurologist at Oxford asked me to track them to be able to better understand them and tailor treatment plans and it has handy options to export PDF reports for doctors or consultants so that can see, plus it tracks MIDAS scores which is what consultants use to see how badly your migraines disable you. It has a few different report options, all of which are beneficial and will come in handy for you and your healthcare professionals. I’d recommend this to anyone who suffers with migraines in any form, whether you have recently started suffering or you’re a long term sufferer like I am. It really is invaluable..Version: 61.0.12019

I love this appI’ve been using this app for a couple of years now and it’s really just awesome. It helps me keep track of which medications seem to work best for me especially since my headaches have gotten much worse as I’ve grown older. To the point that I have a medication organizer I take with me EVERYWHERE. They generate reports to help you identify trends and triggers and so much more. I am able to track and outline deviant and new symptoms and it has helped me seek treatment as I hadn’t been keeping proper track of my headaches and migraines before and was blown away by the frequency with which I was suffering. You even have the option of starting to track a headache to finish it later which is really handy when you can’t stand to look at the screen! All without harassing me with ads or wanting me to sign up for a membership! If you’re in the market for a headache/migraine tracker then give this one a try for sure!.Version: 31.1.4

Working Migraine App!!!Migraines are the worse! This app has helped me, my neurologist, my Homeopathic doctor, my family and friends and of course ME! It helps us understand and navigate through these tough situations and medical issues. It has helped me make hard decisions about my care and how to cope with this situation in my life. Before the app I was somewhat guessing. Now I truly feel I’m in control because I have an advocate and this app is my “Buddy” that I count on to help me do what I have to do and it keeps track of everything so I don’t have to; when the time comes to go the Drs all I have to do is pull up a report and go. It explains everything I’ve been going through so I don’t have to come up with the words that I can hardly find in the first place (thank goodness). It’s a MUST!.Version: 59.0.11654

Great appI’ve suffered with Migraines since I was a teenager and have struggled to fully understand their impact other than the pain, this app has helped me to track my migraines and take note and reflect on the other symptoms I experience and work out the medications and other relief methods which work best for me. I have also struggled to get drs to take me seriously, this app has given me a self-report tool to show drs the impact on my life - missed days, missed events etc. So I am finally getting the medical support I need..Version: 34.3.2

Helpful to understandNot sure if it helps to prevent migraines, but helps to understand migraines and helps to understand what treatments work best for me. Also starting on a preventative and the report which can be downloaded as pdf and printed or emailed directly to your doctor can help you and your doctor decide if the preventive medication is working or not. I feel more in control of my migraines than I ever have before even though they are far more frequent than they have ever been. This app is helping me to learn and get ahead of them. I’m still using the free version and will consider the paid version again. The only thing I don’t like is when you fist sign up, you are given choice of one year or one month paid. If you hit cancel, you can use the free version. You do not get access to all the features. I’m going to review the paid version again, but I definitely wanted to try it for free first before I paid anything. One week would not have been long enough for me. In fact I’ve been using it 2 weeks. I think 2 weeks is a reasonable trial period..Version: 36.0.794

Life savingThis app LITERALLY changed my life! I was dealing with severe migraine since I was 17 and never could find a way to properly manage it. After I found this app and started documenting my migraines (the app has lots of question which really helps you identify your triggers, ways that help you, meds, type of headaches, and lots of support from other people) with the help of the report feature on the app I finally found a way to manage them and find my triggers! THANK YOU.Version: 61.0.12019

So intuitive you wonder why other apps can’t be as goodI recently was diagnosed with cluster headaches and was told to start keeping a headache diary. After some trial and error i realized there must be an app for this. I downloaded Migraine Buddy because it was the first one to pop up. It deserves that spot. The interface is incredibly intuitive and simple. It walks you through every question any medical professional may have about your headache, even ones you may not have thought to track yourself. You can also customize many screens to be even better and more relevant to your pain and relief systems, which is also an incredibly easy process to do (seriously I didn’t do that at first because I thought it would be a longer process but no, takes a few seconds). I cannot recommend this app highly enough. I haven’t even experimented with all it can do. This app has seriously made the world of chronic headaches a little easier..Version: 28.2.4

ExcellentI love this app. I’m planning on going to see a specialist and it’s so handy being able to show them on this the typical pattern my migraines follow. I’ve also learned that I’m not alone with some of my more odd migraine symptoms through the chat groups ... highly recommend 5*.Version: 30.2.4

Thank youI suffer from severe migraines, love this app cause it helps me identify my triggers..Version: 23.1.6

PerfectThankyou so much, I can track my migraines and learn triggers and see how I’ve managed to relieve them in the past! Being unable to think straight during an attack this is brilliant. Just one question, it appears my 7 year old daughter has started with migraines. As it is difficult to diagnose in children would it be possible to have a child’s version of this app? It could help diagnosis and then relief for so many children x.Version: 26.1.2

Life Changing ToolI have used this app daily for almost a year I am beyond thankful it exists. It has allowed me to truly learn my headaches and keep a record in such an easy way. It’s helped me learned my body and what is helping me and what isn’t. I’m so beyond thankful for this app and how I can easily take it to my doctors and physically show them the changes each month and what triggers are prevalent, how things are impacting each day, reliefs that are work and aren’t, and also how things change over time. I am so thankful the free app is so wonderful because in a world of migraine tools most things aren’t, so thank you for making such a wonderful app truly free for those who need it and for being an amazing tool to help those who are often suffering and misunderstood by the medical community..Version: 63.0.12468

Unbelievably helpful.I don’t ever really slow down to write actual reviews but I have to say that this app is one I would love to personally thank the creator for. I always thought my migraines were something no one else really suffered from. I now realize that this is an actual community with real people who go through what I go through everyday. Every cluster headache and migraine wasn’t something I had to suffer with by myself. The simple “you are not alone” message when I’m having a really bad attack helps in many ways that I can’t describe. Being able to inform my doctor about everything in actual time was and has been a lifesaver for me. I really recommend this app. 100%, no one should feel alone especially when there is a real community with real people who are also suffering from migraines and things of that sort..Version: 25.2.8

Great app! This app is amazing for tracking migraines. I live in Calgary and i am a victime of migraines every time we have a chinook. My suggestions to make this app better would be to modernize the aesthetics. It would also be great if this app could log my migraines in other apps such as the Apple Health app as well as the app Flo. There is a great potential for Migraine Buddy to develop a better product for the end customer with by making the mentionned changes. Thank you!.Version: 48.0.7081

Best app!I suffer from migraines and this app helps me track everything from triggers to pain level to medication… it’s amazing!.Version: 50.0.8074

Great new design and awesome devs teamI love the new UI designs the developers have been making but notice that now the app home screen has finally been updated to match the migraine reporting screen app load times are VERY long. Sometimes the load ing icon just keeps spinning and the app never actually opens. Sometimes closing that app and reopening fixes this, other times it doesn’t. The sleep auto reporting feature seems to be one of the culprits for this. I hope the devs team can fix this soon. Migraine Buddy is great app otherwise, and very helpful to track migraines and share data with my doctor. Update Jan 28, 2023 Many thanks to the dev team for investigating what was causing my app to load slowly and fix it for me! Great responsiveness from the dev team - thank you!.Version: 54.0.10582

Tracking migraines for your doctorI have never left a review on an app. But this one I needed to. I have tried other migraine apps that do not compare as good as this one. I would highly recommend this, especially if your someone who needs to track migraines and headaches for your doctor or even just to understand what the cause might be..Version: 30.1.2

Great appMigraines have been part of my chronic Lyme Disease for many years. I have only now come across this app and can warmly recommend it. I have slimmed it down a lot in the settings, as my migraine affected brain can’t cope with all the info at the time of an attack, so do consider doing that too when you start out. You can always add more as you get used to it. I do love it now! I feel supported by it and the info gathered helps me to manage my life..Version: 51.0.8972

Great app for trackingReally like this app. Only had a few days but already know I am doing a MUCH better job of tracking my pain, treatments & symptoms. Easy to customize & use. Very helpful feedback and comprehensive tracking information. I have quit using several other apps because they were hard to use and complicated. I tried to pretend it just wasn't happening as often or as severely as they were because the tracking was so complicated. When my doctors couldn't effectively treat me because I couldn't provide clear information regarding my headaches/neck/shoulder pain I decided to try again. I saw this app recommended online & highly rated on the App Store and decided to give it a chance. I'n so glad I did! This makes it much easier to track AND keep track of all of the pertinent details. Encouraging messages are great too! This is a well thought out program & I'm impressed..Version: 23.4.1

You need this if you’re a migraine sufferer! Can’t overstate how useful this app has been for me. I used to make note of migraines on my phone but it’s so easy to forget what meds you took, what dosage, the pain level, the possible triggers etc, especially when you suffer from multiple migraines and they all seem to merge into one. I’ve used this to show my GP, and found that certain meds were clearly not working. Really great app..Version: 34.3.2

A must have for chronic sufferersI was diagnosed in 2014 with cluster headaches and placed on Topiramate as a preventative. Most recently, a reevaluation by a new HCP has determined that it is indeed migraines. I am still using Topiramate as a preventative but also Sumatriptan for pain as soon as I feel them coming on. This app is super valuable in monitoring the frequency, triggers, and what is and isn’t helping. I love that I can easily extract all this data for my HCP so they can better understand my needs to address my concerns. I also use WeatherX app which is also for migraine sufferers who experience migraines related to Barometric changes. I call myself a “walking weather station” because even the slightest change can set me off on a downward spiral. Knowledge is key folks! We need to understand in order to treat & dose accurately. So, for those who suffer with migraines and cluster headaches, you would truly benefit from this app to better learn about your own health and how to manage it. In addition, you are helping the medical community because migraines are still not understood completely and therefore more studies are needed and wanted. Thanks so much for creating this app! It is life changing for me!.Version: 59.0.11654

Amazing App!Honestly, I do not love writing reviews but this one I will. I never realized how many things caused my migraines. I honestly thought I’d just get the little twinkle lights and bam! It is so much more than that. I thank y’all from the bottom of my heart for developing this app. I found out about it through a lady on eBay who sold me Fiestaware. You never know where you’ll find the best things. It’s the best money I have ever spent. It’s the most I’ve ever known about myself! I still am learning everyday. The only two recommendations I have are please start a campaign and reach out to Primary Care Physicians and Neurologists explaining your app so more patients know about it and so I can get them to want my reports. They do not understand at all! I say app and they think it’s a little easy peasy child game. They have no clue what a fabulous clinical and diagnostic tool this could be for them! Also, please have a place where we can reach out to others in our region/cities/state. I’m new to my area and it would be great to get to know about the area faster. Both in who to seek for care and what the weather is like. I think it would be nice and I would hope others feel the same way. Thank you again. Fabulous job, keep it up 👍.Version: 63.0.12493

Life changingAfter suffering headaches for over 25 years, in the last 12 months I’ve finally tracked and recorded their length, severity, onset, the medication I take to cope with pain, the symptoms etc - all because this app is so easy to use. Having this data to make sense of the patterns is so helpful and given me some peace of mind and control over the situation. I am really grateful to the developers for knowing this is an issue for so many people and creating such practical and easy tools to help people cope. Thank you!.Version: 52.0.9640

Thank YouI am a new user of this app but wanted to send a note of gratitude. I have been a migraineur all of my life. I read the encouraging message you sent this morning to users. I appreciate the functionality of tracking these migraines but now appreciate the sense of support I feel. One of the challenges of this disorder is those non-sufferers making migraineurs feel that we have some sense of control. That is the worst part is how crippling a migraine can be and how they take away all sense of control from one’s life. It is a huge misnomer that if we were only able to manage stress better, we wouldn’t have migraines. Unfortunately, some of my worst spell of migraines have come at the least stressful moments in my life. There are so many misgivings about this disorder that advocacy and support are important. Your message this morning was one of self care and compassion, and very much appreciated..Version: 31.1.4

Life saver!I told my headache specialist I was having two migraines a month but they were sooo much longer than she had imagined. I was always forgetting or losing my headache diary so this app, finally got Doc’s attention ! I am almost on track now to ridding myself of them or at least controlling them better. I have Migraine buddy to thank....Version: 26.1.0
