✓ Great app for photographyI’m a photographer and when I’m planning where I’m going to shoot this app is imperative. ✓ Love this appI got this app reccomended to me and I’ve got to say I love it, it’s quite cheap band has really helped me decide whreyer I should be lazy or go see the sunset the things I would change tho are giving a wider time frame for sunset bc I seen that the sunset is looking amazing 15-30mibs before the forecasted time. Another thing is putting a compass that works on the map so I don’t have to leave the app figure out how many degrees it was and go on my own compass app, and one last thing the gallery dosent seem to work on my phone but overall amazing app.Version: 8.3.2
✓ Sunrise sunriseOne of my all time favorite things to do is watch the sunset. I live a 1/2 block from the beach so it equals a nice walk in the evenings. When it comes to sunrise, I’m just not a morning person. I enjoy this app because it helps me to know if it’s worth getting up for in the morning. The new design is really pretty. ✓ Best Golden Hour AppI downloaded a handful of apps to easily track golden hour and sunset times for my photography, but this one is by far my FAVOURITE! The app is really clean, very aesthetically pleasing, works well and it’s ad-free! I even had a suggestion for a date-picker that I sent to the developer via Instagram direct message. They got back to be almost right away and that update was avait in the App Store within 2-days. Amazing :).Version: 5.3

However, and this might be a result of me being in Auatralia, the predictions haven't really been very good, often predicting a "good" sunset on a cloudy day where you can't even see the sun. ✓ Useful tool to have when shooting outdoorsI generally find the predictions to be pretty good, which can certainly help with planning your shoots. However with that being said, I’ve still managed to capture some amazing shots when the overall light quality hasn’t exactly been ideal (and it wasn’t because the prediction was wrong, but simply the fact that sometimes you just get lucky 😉)..Version: 5.0.2

I think you should make the blue hour when the sun is between 4 and 8° below the horizon, that way the blue hour will have a little more time. I also think you should add times for first light and nightfall, when the sun is 18° below the horizon, this will be useful for Astro photographers. Other than that, it's an amazing app!.Version: 6.4

✓ Accurate!This was exactly what I wanted, a no-nonsense sunrise/sunset forecast. The free version is totally usable, but plus and pro tiers are reasonable, and well worth it. ✓ I needed a “where’s my cat” reminderThis attractive app enables me to set a teminder before sunset ( customizable) so when I forget that my cat insisted on an outdoor stop 20 minutes before sundown, it nags me politely that sunset is x minutes away. What with feral possums, raccoons, and cats in our city, not to mention my cat’s mobility challenge, I don’t allow him out during the dark. However, they were trying very hard and they found me via twitter and asked if I was the 2 star review and wanted to help resolve my issues. Within minutes we connected and got my issues resolved. I really like the built-in sun angle map that helps me choose the best locations depending on time of year. Developer is independent and very responsive to support requests. I can honestly say, that without an ounce of doubt, that if this app says that it’ll be a good sunset, then it will absolutely be a good one. Since I travel extensively for my job, I have used this app to try and find out when there will be a beautiful sunset that I can photograph, and share it with my wife so that we can “share” the experience via FaceTime. Thanks to this app, when I was working out at North Island Naval Air Station in San Diego, I was able to choose the right day to head out to Sunset Cliffs National Park and share a West Coast Sunset with my wife in Florida.
