Airmail - Your Mail With You for Positive User Reviews

I'm seriously impressedThis is probably the best email app I have seen and used on my iPhone, streets ahead of the standard Apple iOS app. It's relatively easy to use once you work out how. I had a problem trying to find out how to create folders and I was brilliantly assisted by Steven at Airmail Support who very quickly showed me how its done, Thanks Steve. If I have any peeves, it would be the lack of any manual or user guide. So as not to bloat the software, perhaps a seperate download could be created, just a thought. I highly recommend this mail app, certainly worth a try..Version: 1.3.2

OMG awesome and powerfulThis app has so many options and customisation. I’m not too sure why other people have given this app such a poor rating. I am currently using this app on my iPhone X and have not experienced a single issue which is a pleasant surprise because the poor rating is why I never tried it before. I was after an email client on my phone that had the features of outlook on my computer. Needless to say this app has everything covered. Give it a crack and ignore the negative reviews..Version: 1.7.6

Switching from Spark to AirmailSpark seems more focused on business clients these days. I wanted a mail app that is designed and updated for the individual user. I didn’t think that I’d find one as feature rich as Sparks until I came upon Airmail. It is everything that I wanted and more! I encountered some friction finding all the features that I needed in Airmail, but they are there. Fortunately, Airmail (and particularly Steven) provided excellent support which is accessible right inside the app! Nicely done!.Version: 4.1.13

AwesomeBy far the best email app i’ve ever used.Version: 5.5.9

Best client out!!Best email client I have ever used! I had one issue, emailed support and a response was sent promptly which resolved the issue- thanks to Steven! Highly recommend. So many customisation options and colours. You will not regret it..Version: 5.0.1

Great Online Support!David was quick to respond with the appropriate answer to my query. Very good service which I wish other companies could well copy..Version: 1.8.14

Best mail appI use this on the iPhone and Mac and it’s my favourite mail app. It’s particularly good at snoozing. However, it has one major flaw - the search does not find results unless recent and very slow. So I still have to use Outlook too. Please also add ‘send again’ on the Mac version!.Version: 5.7.7

Great app with great supportAirmail lets me organise my workflow better than any other email app I’ve used. I went back to Outlook for a while but soon realised that was a mistake. The support is excellent too. Almost instant responses from Steven in Live Support got me set up quickly again..Version: 5.6.3

Great app, but long threads cause crashI'm quite happy with the app overall but it crashes consistently when opening long threads especially when the threads contain embedded images. Not very useful when using this app for commercial purposes..Version: 1.5.3

No Search? There does not appear to be a search function so that I can find old e.mail messages. Hopefully this will be implemented soon..Version: 5.6.86

Fantastic v1.0Fantastic job on 1st version! I really like the similarities and integration with the desktop version of AirMail: same “look” of mail that I like on the desktop; same labels, star; plus iOS-specific features like snooze and “press hard to preview.” And the services integration is excellent. Great job, guys and gals. Worth the wait..Version: 1.0.1

Good App. Helpful Support Team.Due to my ignorance of things technical, I have had the need to email Sarah, and Stephen, in Customer Support. Responses are quick , detailed, without going over my head , and polite. The email client itself satisfies my everyday needs, and more..Version: 5.6.82

Improved quite a bit latelyI’ve been using this app for years and it went through some very buggy periods suffering very slow performance. I stuck with it simply because the integration of multiple email accounts was better than any other app. But recently the developers put some effort in improving the performance and I enjoy using it again. I’m still missing the email tracking functionality though and searching is a bit slow (not as good as gmail) when you have several huge mailboxes..Version: 5.6.82

Need optionCan all mail be the default option at launch? I like seeing the labels.Version: 5.6.82

AirmailNot too happy with this app, I downloaded airmail to use for work since it was the only app that would work with my work emails, and I get them, and I can send them, but the inbox counter does not work, notifications does not work, sounds don’t work, I just have to open the app constantly to check it instead of getting notifications that I can check without having to do that. This app definitely needs work..Version: 5.6.7

Great email appI tried a few email apps on iOS and settled on Airmail, which I have used daily during the past year and now rely on it to safely handle my emails from multiple accounts & using multiple alias settings. I have just taken my first steps using a Macbook after years with PC's, and had a couple of Airmail questions. Went to the Airmailapp site and received great online assistance from Sarah, who provided good tips & info, and now my Mac Airmail is working well. Very happy with this app. :-).Version: 1.5.4

I came back $9.99 a year I can doOk so I’ll make this quick was and still is the best email app. I bought it a long time ago when it came out. Well, the developers made it have a subscription that was really high after this was a paid app to start with. Now that it has been lowered to $9.99 a year I’ll happily pay that. I do understand it cost money to keep the app working and updated. Thanks developers for being more reasonable with the subscription. Really is a great email app. I use it as my default on my iPhone..Version: 4.1.13

Great app with supportI have been using Airmail for a while now. I chose it as it has prompt notifications. Recently I had an issue with the app. I contacted support via the app and the issue was resolved promptly. Thank you Steven..Version: 5.0.1

Amazing handy appIt is really hard to find this kind of stable and handy products atm. Makes my life easy and well organised. Thanks to producers!.Version: 5.2.4

Sadly moving on from AirmailAirmail has been my go to email client for years, yup it’s buggy and search has never really been great, but in spite of the flaws, it does what other clients can’t and it’s super customizable. I started have issues with notifications months ago and although support was initially responsive, when their suggestions didn’t work my ticket seemed to have gone into a black hole. Lack of consistent notifications is a deal breaker for me and I’m tired of contacting support and getting crickets. It’s a real shame the app seems to have taken a step backwards, if the developers can get it together than Airmail could be a legit 5 star app..Version: 4.1.13

Simple yet very powerfulA fantastic build of an app, well thought design, clean synchronisation with iOS and macOS, and a very extensive feature set - if you're looking to reach inbox zero to carry on with other productivity then look no further..Version: 1.6.7

Great app and great support.By far my preferred mail app, and the subscription gives it to me on the laptop too. Had a minor problem and Steven in live in-app support fixed it in minutes..Version: 5.0.5

Does the job beautifullyI have tried all the leading email apps and have found Airmail to be among the most powerful with far fewer gotchas along the way. The smart inbox is highly useful as is the ability to have certain emails “paused” until a later time or day. My one nit to pick: the automatic signature feature is more of an annoyance than a help. But overall a reliable and powerful app for both iphone and MacOS. Highly recommended..Version: 4.1.16

Excellent, apart from the odd niggleVery much enjoying the app. It’s an excellent workhorse. I use it on iPhone and iPad. Be great to have a Windows version, but I realise that’s a different kettle of fish. Minor niggle: the badge on the Home Screen doesn’t update promptly. I leave the program having read all mail, return to Home Screen and it still tells me I have unread messages. I go back to check but there are none. I quit again and this time the badge count is correct. D’oh!.Version: 5.7.4

Simply the bestThis is the best email client for cross platform OSX, iPhone and iPad. The ability to sync settings via iCloud is magnificent. Yes there are a lot of possible settings and it can be a little daunting if you go beyond stock standard, but the “Live Support” is second to none - thank you Steven (I was trying to sort out how to see sent mail without using the unified inbox, the trick press on the Sent folder and select the account you wish to look at :).Version: 1.1

Terrific alternative to default mail appI feel like i've been searching for an alternate mail app for years now. Having attempted outlook and several others, there were always downsides such as sync issues or apps being flat out boring to use. Have only been using airmail for 24hrs now but already love how customizable it is and more importantly, how solid an email client it is! Not to mention terrific support by Steven on a weekend with a pretty basic question I had, couldn't recommend this app any more. Will now look at the desktop version for my imac..Version: 1.6.4

Good app overallGood app overall though some long-standing bugs. Just been using it too long to switch to something else. Good: nice UI, innovative features (though since copied by others) such as snooze and 1-click unsubscribe, good keyboard shortcuts, good support for various account types (Google, Exchange, IMAP), no ads/fair pricing model Bad: search is slow and bad, scroll position in very long emails (i.e. newsletters) is not maintained when switching between apps or when rotating phone, hard to differentiate swipe to archive via swipe to snooze.Version: 5.6.7

As other languages have said...good, but...Integration with other services unrivalled. But still buggy. Copy and paste works poorly. Font on emails received can be too small. Every now and then folders mapping goes awry. I persevere with it though because it has so much potential and great custom ability. Steven ( along with other support people) always helpful and quick to respond. Just not quite there yet..Version: 1.1

BrilliantMaking my life with email communication so much easier. I’ve tried them all ! And finally found the best . Highly recommended..Version: 5.6.82

Wonderful App. Wonderful supportBest email app and wonderful support. David from the customer support team responses so quick. Very patient. Thanks a lot.Version: 1.8.17

Great App and Great Customer ServiceI've been putting up with the Apple's Mail idiosyncracies for a long time, till I became fed up with the whole thing and installed the Airmail 3 on my iMac and MBP. What a relief! Then I purchased the Airmail for my iPhone and had a couple of minor issues with setting it up. The customer service staff '.Sarah' was very helpful and the issues were fixed within a minuted. Great App and great customer service.(Farid from Sydney, Australia).Version: 1.5

It good!Fantastic email app. Highly recommend..Version: 1.1

I am hookedAfter using it for few days, I am hooked into this thing. Level of customization it offers is mind blowing. I have inbox zero right now and able to stay on top of my emails daily thanks to airmail. Actionable emails go to todo, emails with important relevant information but not actually actionable goes to memo, I also have set up a custom action where interesting reads go to read later tab. All in all it’s a must have upgrade to stock email for nominal cost. Highly recommended...Version: 5.6.3

Best Mail App out there!Genuinely love this app. Keep trying to find a better one for free, but you get what you pay for! Even the customer support is great. Thanks Steven!.Version: 5.0.4

Way too many featuresAt last, an IOS email client with inbox rules! I no longer dread looking for the few email messages i need to see, buried the flood of spam. This app also has to many excellent features. Documentation focuses on what things do, but not on why they exist, or how they interact. I want to be able to be productive without becoming a power user. I also am disappointed in the paid support. So far, all I have received are responses like “Read this article.” It’s the reality of economy of supporting software for the masses, but the marketing material over hypes..Version: 5.6.7

One mail client across all devicesI have just about tried them all, I want more than Apple mail offers and yet with some of the other mail clients I got less. Airmail for iOS (and OSX) does everything and more, and the relatively unified user interface across both Apple platforms makes for a seamless user experience. With tight Gmail integration, icloud storage of user settings and full integration with Apple and Gmail Apps such as contacts, calendar and reminders, it just does it all and much more. The integration with other iOS Apps is phenomenal. Support has been great too - Sarah I thank you for your prompt and helpful live help :-) I highly recommended Airmal.Version: 1.7

Great app and great support from Stephen!I really enjoy using this app which has become my daily email driver for a few years. I find it adaptable and flexible with myriad customisations. I was stumped by an issue with composed mail fonts being too small, support from Stephen was swift and effective, the compose font can be changed in the account sub menu. No idea hope I missed that! Fantastic app, fantastic support👌.Version: 5.3

Support is simply outstanding!!!Support within moments..Version: 1.8.4

AirmailTres bon appli et tres rapide quand il est synchronisé! :).Version: 5.6.82

What you need to know if you are looking at AirmailI’ve just cleared my email on two accounts, using custom actions to move some items to my task list and saved something off to Evernote. It works the same on my iPad, phone and two computers. I’ve also tried most of the email clients and I’ve decided to stick with Airmail because it makes my life less painful. So why is this app getting such poor reviews? It’s because the developer changed business models and decided to start charging a monthly or annual fee for some features. Some people like myself thought we had already paid for those features and are disappointed to now be asked to pay again. Fair enough. Here’s the thing. Since this change, the developer has in fact added a few new features. I still think this is the best email client option for me. Could they have handled this change better? Probably, but I want them to stay in business and supporting the best client available, in my opinion. And I’ll pay a bit more to have that. If others want to go off and use another client, I understand that but this is how I see it. I’m giving them five stars because the app works really well for me. I don’t have any affiliation with them and I hope they continue to support this product for as long as I need it or at least until someone else builds something better. Then I might switch but for now I’m sticking with them..Version: 1.8.30

Great supportGreat support Steven helped out and answered all my questions.Version: 1.8.6

Great little mail app!Firstly let me say this, AirMail is a fantastic app, it’s fully featured and then some however that does come with a small trade off, bugs, there a few of them lurking here and there (reported) but they are minor and all apps have small bugs. The developers are responsive and happy to help and overall I would recommend AirMail to anyone!.Version: 5.6.82

Power and StabilityI have used Airmail since it first came out. I defected to Spark for a while since it looks nicer and handles newsletters and notifications better, but Spark always had synchronisation problems and lacked the power of Airmail, so I have returned and am glad I did. I really like how just about everything in Airmail can be customised, and it has features for bouncing spam e-mails back. My only gripe is that the desktop version allows me to sort e-mails by oldest first, but the iOS version doesn’t. As I go for “inbox zero” each day, it makes more sense to read the oldest e-mails first..Version: 1.8.2

Great supportI had an issue with error message on one of my accounts . Great support from the helpdesk, Sarah explained things in easy to understand manner and took me through step by step until it was resolved..Version: 1.5

Easy to useI have been through so many email clients trying to find one that has usable tools (like a flexible snooze for one), doesn’t cost an obscene amount every month or year, allows multiple email accounts and respects my privacy as much as possible. This one hits the sweet spot. A bonus is excellent customer support. I haven’t had many issues, but when I have needed help I get a quick and useful response from Steven. I’ve paid for more elsewhere and gotten less..Version: 5.5.3

Won’t live without airmailI use airmail for a few years now. This is by far the best email app in the market. Plenty of features, multi account support, read receipt, snooze and much more.. I am a heavy email user and I can’t recommend it enough!.Version: 5.2.4

Great value for money!I’ve been using different email agents for years started way back using Pegasus mail and Eudora! I find it frustrating that the standard ones that come with most devices are very limited. You can really customise Airmail for me I love that it works on multiplatforms, each time you buy a new device you don’t need spend all the time configuring them again all the settings are saved in the cloud. The other dealbreaker for me is been able to use templates and colour code each mailbox if you run five or six different email accounts this is the software for you..Version: 2.0.5

Nearly great mail alternative for power usersI often juggle 2-3 accounts and it’s very easy to set up Smart Folders, rules and other aspects of management. I like the color coding, to do and starred options as they all fit into my workflow. However, the iOS version still drives me crazy when it comes to searching. I often can’t find a chain of emails or specific phrase or user because it’s so particular and limiting to the mailbox. Another downside is you often have to restart or completely rebuild rules after you make changes. So close to being the best out there..Version: 5.3

Looks good but cross-device sync doesn’t workSet up on iPad, downloaded and sorted email and all looked well. When I installed on iPhone, rather than grabbing the iCloud sync settings it wanted me to setup from scratch. Didn’t even get to email syncing as I couldn’t face all that work again. Guess I’ll just stick with Apple Mail..Version: 5.5.9

Subscribed after a trial. Best design, privacy and functionalityThis is amazing. I was in a search for an alternative of iOS default Mail app, mainly I wanted to have “schedule send” option for my Mail but iOS Mail app didn’t yet implemented it even at iOS 14!! So, among all other alternative, this app is the only one that did NOT link any data to you, no ads or other privacy-breaching points. Obviously as there is a fee your data are not any more the fees. Also there are a lot of other features that I were not aware about and knows about it. Long review in short: this is the best secure, private, handy, highly customizable Mail app ever..Version: 4.1.16

AirmailLove this Email app, used over a year and no issue just renewed subscribe another year. Thanks..Version: 5.6.82

Best looking email.I don’t know why the app star rating is always low. I been using air mail for a few years and have not had any problems with the app. Air mail has more features and custom settings then any email I have found. The app looks great, and a while back I asked them about adding dark mode. Well they listened and now there is dark mode with black, ruby red,and blue. They look great. You have to pay for the premium package like 9.99 a year. That is cheap to have all the extra features this app has. Thanks air mail!.Version: 5.6.87

Great appI have used Airmail on Mac before but the iPhone app is a huge improvement and a good step in the right direction. Reading emails no layout issues and developers have smoothened out the overall experience for £9.49 you get a lot but the sound needs work and the floating island is a nice touch ..Version: 5.5.10

Great app, but….I thought I saw a way before to turn off the undo timer but I can’t find it now. The undo send to trash is in an annoying location. If you delete a message you have to wait on the stupid undo message to go away before you can see the delete button to do the next message. The undo option is pointless and more nuisance than helpful. If I want to undo it’s easy enough to just go to trash and move it back to inbox if needed..Version: 5.7.7

Airmail is the Truth!I have been using Airmail for over a year, and it just keeps getting better. I have to give a big shout out to Sarah from Airmail who gave me excellent help on solving a problem. Great app and fantastic customer service have become synonymous with Airmail for me..Version: 1.6.9

One of the Best Email App!Love the GUI and its simplicity and the all of the formatting tools available nicely laid out and easily accessible. The support staff, especially Sherlyn, are very accessible and answer questions quickly and accurately. The only reason for not giving it a 5-Star is that it is still missing an internal Calendar that other lower quality email apps have. Keep up the great work..Version: 5.6.82

Why is my text in 'black'Under "Themes" only the Modern theme has this black Amoled background. Please can you incorporate this black Amoled background into the other themes as well..Version: 5.6.6

Well designedPractical functions and excellent designs. Definitely worth the money.Version: 5.0

Great App, Clear Privacy Policy, No AI PushI was looking at alternative mail apps for iOS, and within those with good visuals and UI. Airmail seems to be the only one that supports all types of accounts, has a clear privacy policy that they’re not in the business of selling data, and finally, are not pushing some AI read and write your email solution. Almost everything else I tested out of five or six apps either had aggressive data collection (Edison), or pushed an AI solution which I don’t want. I prefer to maintain my skill set and write for myself. The only minor feature that would be great to add, is if you could set a default font for composing a message. You can change it per message, but have to select it each time. (Every other mail app was the same here, so this may be an iOS limitation).Version: 5.7.3

Best email app yetI've tried most of them, and gone back to the native email app. But this one is what I've been waiting for. Logical and great looking and user definable actions make it well worth trying out. Highly recommended..Version: 1.1

Airmail is amazingAirmail for iOS is amazing. It's by far the best email app I've used on iOS. The UI is uncluttered and intuitive. Customisation options are numerous and make sense, but the defaults are well chosen, so I didn't really need to change much. I especially love proper support for aliases in Gmail and the excellent gesture support. The app is remarkably stable for a 1.0 app. I haven't encountered any bugs. Every other email app I tired, and I tired them all, had some critical flaw. But not Airmail. It's the perfect app. Highly recommended!.Version: 1.0.1

Great for corporateI’m equipping our executives with iPads and google services, so it’s great AirMail handles calendar invitations well. I’m also pleased there’s a gDrive action and works on multiple attachments to and from the gDrive. We will not be using apples calendar, but prefer Calendar 5. And there’s an action for that too. So with AirMail I can customise what features to include (and hide) from my mobile executives. Steven has been giving me great support too, thanks!.Version: 4.0.4

Great Mail Client but strange behaviourHello I love Airmail but something strange is going on because none of the emails from my fiancée are showing up in my inbox. I can access them in a Smart Folder but not in the inbox. Any ideas?.Version: 5.6.82

The best !This is easily the best Mail app on iOS,I tried loads after being disappointed with the cost of spark Mail, which I’d used for years, this is much more configurable and intuitive than spark, as well as being a third of the price (annually), and also looks much nicer, it’s not often I review an app, unless it’s particularly bad or exceptionally good, hence this review, because this is the best Mail app I’ve used on any platform, thank you dev’s 👌.Version: 5.6.3

Best mail app with awesome supportI've been using Airmail on my MacBook and iPhone for over a year for all my email accounts now. I love it, especially things like Evernote integration with one swipe. I've had questions for the Airmail team on a couple of occasions and they've answered my queries within seconds, with people like David replying via the in App support conversation function within seconds at any hour of night or day. Love this App..Version: 1.3.2

The app is a little bit shaky but the support is great!I have been a pro user for a couple of years and Mac version has been nothing but perfect. I have just started using iOS version and the unread count has been confusing ever since the beginning and it doesn’t not reflect the real count sometimes even though there is none. One of the reasons has beed attributed to the pending operations specifically when you close the app before letting them complete. It is a bummer that every time you use the app, you have to wait like 5 secs to make sure there is no pending operation. I contacted the support and a guy called Steven helped me with that and he was responsive and detailed oriented. I wish in the future versions the issue will get resolved and there won’t be any need for anybody to reset their message cache to resolve this kind of issue. Thanks.Version: 5.3

Sensible setup for self hostingI tried a number of email clients that did not play well when I tried to enter or edit my imap mail accounts and server details. I host my own email server and can not believe how hard it is to enter or edit mail server details or ssl port numbers. Some won’t let you edit at all and have to delete the account and start again (Sp*rk) The default mail client (M*il) could not cope with two or more mail accounts using the same mail server, and was insufferably useless to try and troubleshoot by just hanging… I tried others and had similar issues, or were stupidly expensive. Anyway, what a relief to find Airmail works well and has a great feature set. Reasonably priced too. And allows family sharing..Version: 5.6.7

I like it, but……I find it easy to navigate, but I was immediately bombarded with upgrading to pro. Since I am using this for personal email, not sure if I see the benefit of a pro account. I was also a little annoyed by this prompt almost immediately. If it is a pro account it should be specified in the App Store..Version: 5.6.2

Great app! Many thanks to Steven for his knowhow!.Version: 5.3

Great live support for premiumI’ve been using airmail for years, and subscribed to premium when it was announced. Since, I’ve engaged with live support twice, both times Steven was able to quickly resolve my issues. Great app!.Version: 2.0.1

Love this App!!!I have been using the mail app that comes on the iPhone for ever, never even thought about switching, but managing my email was a nightmare. I finally decided to look for something else and I looked up what was popular and am I glad I did! I LOVE this app, it’s so easy to create folders, label emails, create rules and manage my email like I do for work on my laptop. For $10 a year it’s a win!!.Version: 5.5

Finally, my email search is overHaving searched high and low for a native iPhone email app offering more than the bare basics, I took the plunge & spent the AU$7.99 - thinking it is probably a waste of money, regardless of the positive reviews: AirMail just blew my socks off with the levels of flexibility offered to manage emails. Fantastic! And, real-time support to boot: I spoke to Sarah real-time & she quickly & effectively answered the questions I had! Bravo!.Version: 1.5.4

Great support!Thank you to Steve for replying so quickly to support questions! recently moved from apple mail and outlook to airmail and very happy. Flexible, easy to configure and useable in a way which outlook isn’t (too complicated) and neither is mail (why no send later? Search is terrible). Also integration with Asana and ToDo is great. highly recommended..Version: 5.0.5

Amazing supportI just contact Airmail Support to get help with how to do something. Sarah helped me out and she was amazing. I was a bit stressed and she patiently helped me solve my problem. I have been using Airmail for a few years now and I really depend on it now. The usability is great and their support even greater. Thanks so much Sarah and the Airmail team!.Version: 1.8.3

Great email clientHandles multiple email accounts effectively - super stable and not buggy but the read receipts plug-in for Mac OS running on M2 needs updating to work (no problem on my iOS version). Thanks Steven for your assistance on the help desk - can you ask the devs to push an update for M1 and M2 users for read receipts?.Version: 5.6.3

Love the App Concept, Hope Team Continues to DevelopI’ve used more email apps than I can count, and none have been great. I tended to go back to Outlook, but it just isn’t great on MacOS or iOS. If the team continue to improve Airmail, I am more than happy to pay the subscription. It is definitely worth it. Airmail is a huge leap forward, though these improvements would be terrific: * Actions Menu still shows all actions even after you deselect some in Settings (and it is really long list, great functionality, but better to have the option to turn it off too) * Settings do not always sync across devices (at least for me) * Sort Inbox by Sender (not just Date) * Not easy to find support or documentation (though there is some on the website) Fingers crossed for continued.Version: 5.6.82

Finally……an email app that meets most of my requirements ie, it works on iPhone and iMac, is customisable, and puts replies at the top of the email/conversation thread not the bottom! (Why the Spark app does that is a mystery??!!). The only improvement I’d make is to allow you to pin emails to the top of your inbox (Spark does this). You can sort of get around this by ‘starring’ them although you still have to check a separate folder for them so they don’t stay in view as a constant reminder. (Oh, and their Live support is excellent - cheers Steven!).Version: 5.3

First-Rate Super-Responsive Tech Support for Brilliant AppI bought Airmail for my iPad yesterday after getting fed up with the numerous shortcomings of both Outlook and the native iOS mail client. Airmail looked amazing, and tremendously clean and powerful. But I wanted to change my signature from just my email. I wanted more stuff in there. What if I wanted, eg, old Kibo quotes, or a huge Ascii-art Enterprise-D? I mean, come on! ;) So I shot off a support query, asking about these very issues, and--I kid you not--*within seconds* a support guy named Steven was on the case. Now, I'm in suburban Perth in Western Australia, and I'm guessing Steven is really not, but he was right there with help, support, and doing everything short of offering a kind cup of tea and a biscuit. As we in Australia say, Phwoar! Impressed! :).Version: 1.6.4

Airmail for iPad OS: A very good eMail Client, but...... For years it has had a flaw that is illogical and inexplicable, upon opening the app it automatically (by default) selects and displays the content of the newest (top most) eMail in the Inbox, this is an awful flaw that should have been fixed ages ago, not to mention the fact that it should have NEVER been allowed from the onset, imagine that whenever a physical postal service box were to be opened, it would open its front/top most envelope or parcel for everyone that's present to see... NOT desirable at all, is it? Well, the same should NEVER happen when opening ANY eMail client. Please, FIX this annoying, privacy violating FLAW. Thanks..Version: 4.1.16

Really Great App and Amazing Live SupportBeen using this app for a couple of years now. Recently upgraded to the premium version. It has great functionality, really clean looking, ability to snooze emails, send emails later, all email accounts in one inbox, really cool! Also live chat support is pretty cool. Thanks Steven for answering all my questions and assisting me..Version: 5.3

Love it!Best email system I have used, good selection of settings and easy to set up. Use to get a load of junk mail every day bounced them all back pleased to say I haven’t received any since..Version: 5.5.9

Kudos to Airmail SupportI’ve enjoyed using Airmail for some time now on my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. Recently I changed the password on one of my email accounts. That went well on my MacBook and iPad. But on my iPhone the app very often had to go to my account web page to refresh the app’s credentials. There never was an issue doing host but it took a bit of time and became annoying. Steven with Airmail support was able to talk me through the process of refreshing thee we credentials in a way that they stuck. I’ve had no repeats of that issue since. Many thanks and kudos to Steven..Version: 4.1.16

Great eMail App and Sensational SupportI have the Mac OS app as my eMail client and just downloaded and installed the IOS App. I have 8 email accounts and the time you save importing settings from iCloud is worth it on its own. It’s a fast app and easy to become proficient with quickly. I had a couple of user related questions and fired off an email to support within the app and not 5 minutes passed before a received a reply from Steven in support. He answered the questions and had me on my way and it was great to deal with someone so at the top of their game. All round, you cannot go wrong with this app for Mac OS or iOS backed by sensational report. Just ask for Steven 👍.Version: 1.8.6

I forget to “Focus”This app is generally fantastic and great value too which is why I have had a Pro subscription for years. The app asks for Feedback (in a good way, no interrupting) though it is actually a request for a review, so here we are! Regarding the Focus Inbox. This is a fantastic feature, but it is nearly pointless when I can’t default to viewing Focus Inbox. I never remember to check it, so important emails still get lost among the endless marketing messages - so I need the Gmail app as well. The iOS interactive widget is great, but I don’t need to know about some marketing message more than something in the Focus Inbox..Version: 5.6.85

Consistent and works wellAbsolutely perfect system for managing multiple email accounts. There are improvements that would be great including out of office automation, but that could be because of the email provider. Been very happy with it for three years..Version: 5.6.87

Best thing ever!I have had a lot of email clients the past many years and I have to say this one is better than any of them. It literally has everything I was needing to take care of personal business organization but seems I had to get several apps for each thing I needed to do. But, this one has all of them in one application. You definitely need to get the Pro version to get all the benefits of all the app has to offer. Great app, I will be using it a long time..Version: 5.6.2

Much better!!!Version 5 has all the features I wanted, minus all the bugs from the previous version. I have finally found the PERFECT mail app that works great across all my devices. Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait to get into some of the more advanced features..Version: 5.2.4

Great and reliableVery simple to set up and workflow is excellent. Never looked back after installing it. Minor glitch this week solved by speedy advice from Steven so thanks so much..Version: 5.6

Fantastic..Best email system I've used.. Great selection of settings and easy to set up and use. Absolutely Top Class Customer Service too🙏🏼 Use on my iPhone 12 pro max, watch series 6 & Macbook Pro👏🏼👏🏼.Version: 5.0.4

Amazing email app!I have been using airmail for just over three weeks. It does everything a power user could wish for. The workflow (custom actions) are a Godsend. Reply, forward and archive an email all in one tap. Snooze emails, remind if not read, it all works as advertised. When I had an issue, I contacted support and was helped by Steven pretty promptly, it was user error obviously. Can't recommend this app enough..Version: 1.5.1

Always getting betterWhile the app is a bit pricey, I think it compliments the Mac app very well and is much better than the stock Mail app - particularly when it comes to managing multiple accounts. Every update brings more stability and more updates, I'm really happy with Airmail on my iPhone. In case you do have any trouble, they have some incredible support available. Paul from Airmail got back to me within 5 minutes and my issues was solved within 20mins. Top job, high recommend it..Version: 1.3.2

What happened to Read Receipt in iOS?I have been successfully using Airmail for 4 years and the recent changes after the newer tiered subscriptions started have been very disappointing. I paid for a yearly subscription but last April (2022) the app became super buggy. Read Receipt on iPhone/iPad disappeared, 75% of my sent messages from iPhone are actually saved in drafts and never sent. If I send an email from my desktop, it doesn't sync & show up as sent in my iPhone version, and other issues on & on. I loved this app when I got it & unless these issues are fixed, I'm looking for a new email app before my current subscription lapses..Version: 5.6.3

Love itBest email app I’ve ever used.Version: 5.5.6

A solid app with many featuresAirmail has a multitude of features that provides diversity for a wide range of requirements. I can use it for the simplest of email tasks to the most complex. The ability to add services provides flexibility and control over the material received. The use of labels is not too dissimilar to folders but with the ability to duplicate emails and store them in several places allows for an easier search. While the format is clean and relatively simple, it provides many layers of complexity that allows for structure within the many emails I receive daily. The recent need for support was also refreshing. The online chat with Steve was productive and efficient. This is not amateur hour, this is a professional outfit that demands a fee and is well deserved. There are many free mail clients out there but you pay for what you get. I am more than happy to pay the annual fee. Well done, the support from Steve and the app itself lends itself to significant interaction and durability. I actually enjoy doing my email with Airmail!.Version: 5.5

Now I Regularly Zero Out My InboxThis was the tool I needed to be more diligent about email. There are just a few things I don’t see that I would like to see. The most useful features for me have been “unsubscribe”, “send to reminders”, “send to calendar” and “copy message link”. These capabilities are very synergistic with other apps I use such as Workflowy and Sorted. Any email I get can be instantly processed with these features, so I can focus on clearing my inbox. The features that I find missing are “copy message link” for the macOS version and the ability to set a title and due date for any mail that is being sent to reminders. It would also be really awesome if the app could automatically pull from and email the time and date information and suggest that when exporting an email to the calendar. When and if those features are implemented, this will be a perfect app. As it stands, this is the clear winner of all the email applications I have tried. It is beautifully simple, has a great design and manages to be practically powerful all at the same time. Props to this development team for sure..Version: 5.6.82

Top NotchAfter years of searching for the email client that does it all, I finally found it. Airmail will change your life. Finally a developer brought in all the right features - including a conversation view that show most recent messages at the TOP! I know Apple has such a feature, but Apple does not allow custom font settings in signature on the mobile app. But Airmail sure does. I love this app. What a breath of fresh air..Version: 4.1.16

Great email appAirmail is a great alternative to the GMail app (which is now cluttering my inbox with ad emails!) and is certainly miles ahead of the Apple Mail app. It’s light and uncluttered view of my inboxes (yes I have multiple emails accounts setup) makes reviewing email so much easier and less of a mindless task than I’ve experienced using other apps. One thing that doe’s annoy me is the large center button at the bottom of the screen enticing me to upgrade to the pro version of the app. I have no need to use the pro features of the app currently and with the option to subscribe to the pro version from the swipe up menu the addition of the button at the bottom of the screen seems a little excessive and is simply just in the way of performing other tasks, such as selecting multiple emails. Despite the subscribe to Pro button this is a great modern email app and puts the leading email app brands to shame..Version: 5.6.82
