✓ Not happy :(Maybe I'm just an unlucky person when it comes to technology... This app is a wonderful and extremely helpful thing to have... If it works :( After purchasing the exam pieces I found it impossible to play them because they constantly glitch! ✓ Would be fabulous if it didn't glitchI bought this app to support my son's violin practise, recommended by his teacher. He loves techy things so was very excited. Initially it was brilliant and his tone and interpretation improved immensely. We loved being able to adjust the tempo, something which we could not do with the CDs which accompanied the book. However, now, each piece constantly glitches to the point where it is unusable. Initially, we thought it was due to him having an older iPad, but it is a version iOS 9.1 so should not be a problem. Tried on his newer iPod too and the problem is the same. Please, please hurry and fix this problem as it could be such a great app..SusiefxVersion: 1.2.1

✓ Nice idea but some disappointing bitsI have just purchased this for my daughter who is doing her G2 Violin thinking that I would be able to use the accompaniment downloads I have just purchased from ABRSM site. This is not a feature. You can buy the tracks within the app but given that on the ABRSM it was £1.89 for 3 tracks and here it is £1.99 a track, I think I’ll still with the SpeedShifterLite app instead. ✓ Fed up with this app & non responsive developersVery frustrated and fed up with this app. Have written via the ‘contact us’ multiple times. No one ever responds. I used this app successfully for over a year then strangely it stopped allowing me to purchase new music. I deleted the app and reinstalled it hoping that would solve the problem. ✓ App doesn’t work properlyBought in Jan 2020 and downloaded grade 1 bundle, it worked perfectly and then in March 2021 tried to download grade 3 bundle and it wouldn’t allow you to purchase anything and haven’t received any support from developer to rectify situation. Have deleted app and redownloaded cannot get original download back as it won’t allow you to restore pieces and App Store won’t forget it from downloads, so app is frustratingly rubbish..To be confirmedVersion: 2.2

We can load the app but when we try to play a piece we have the same error message. "Downloading, the piece is still downloading" It hangs and nothing happens. ✓ Good product, poor qualityThis app is well designed as a product - it has all the features you need for a child pro practice violin. Switching between violin only accompaniment only or both, adjusting tempo, practicing a specific part of the song. BUT! There are too many glitches with every feature and one of the pieces I purchased didn’t download after I was charged. Reinstalling, restoring purchases, restarting didn’t help. ✓ Would be great if it workedThis app is well designed and extremely useful with many fantastic features such as the ability to change the speed of pieces and add/remove accompanying parts as needed - I find it very helpful for preparing for grade exams. Unfortunately it is unreliable - for reasons that I can't understand, sometimes when I try to use it, the pieces constantly glitch and lag, rendering the app useless for that practice session. I've also found that when I've purchased a new piece, it can inexplicably take days to download onto every device that I own. Very frustrating and I would expect better from an app that I paid for. Update: I've felt the need to add more to original review because I am so frustrated! This app could be really good and I'd be willing to pay even more for it, if it would only work properly. Several months after my original review and a couple of updates and all the same problems that I mentioned above still exist. What is the review system for if not to provide some feedback to the app designers of issues that need addressing? It isn't like the errors I've mentioned cause mild inconvenience or some loss of function; they render the app completely useless, which is unacceptable for something that you have paid money for. Update #2 Over a year since purchase and issues still not addressed. The other reviews for this app speak volumes. ✓ Pieces are always shown as downloadingI used my sons’ iPad Pro and iPad Mini to purchase 6 pieces (Grade 5 & 6) in total and all of them are still shown as ‘still downloading’. Payment had been deducted from my credit card but we just can’t use any of the pieces to practise. It’s very annoying. I then used my iPhone X to download the app and purchased one piece from Grade 6, again it always shows ‘still downloading’ and nothing works.
