Simple and perfectThis app is absolutely perfect and a simple clear app to use CBT, I really needed to find this app and in a few days it has helped me immensely. And so lovely they provide for free and hope that if you like it to donate instead, so important and as soon as I get paid I will donate - it’s worth it! I don’t even think it needs any upgrades, simple and easy to use is better..Version: 1.4.1

Could be better, could be worseCompared to most free self-help apps, this one is pretty good. It’s angled toward depression, which means it’s got a great array of resources and guides to help you cope with that specifically. But if the app were to expand its services to other disorders such as anxiety, eating disorders, and so on, I think it would help a great deal more! Another suggestion I have, is the ability to customize the individual activities they provide for you. I’m aware there is a ‘Custom’ option, but for example, adding a list to the Chores activity, which you are then free to edit and mark off as you complete the tasks one by one, would make things a lot simpler and easier. Having the different options all in one place makes for easy customization (which I believe is very important to the individual). Overall, hope to see more from this app! But as it is now, it’s a certainly welcome little tool, that I will be sure to use in times of distress and emotional management..Version: 1.3

RecordingI think It’ll be great to add a voice-recording journal where you just spill your emotions. Typing the emotions down results to backpedaling my thoughts. Also, may you please add an “exhausted” or “tired” feeling?.Version: 1.4.1

Excellent, science based toolI am a clinical psychologist, and I use this app all the time with my patients. It includes the basic principles of CBT, one of the best therapies for depression. The information is clear and practical. However, if you are really depressed and struggling, especially if you are having thoughts of hurting yourself, you should know that the research about CBT working always shows that your relationship with your therapist is the most important predictor of getting better in treatment. That is, there isn’t much research out there about how well the tools work as self-help. So try it, and if it doesn’t do enough or if you are a danger to yourself, talk to someone, too, to get the help you need. On the other hand, if you ARE a therapist, this is an excellent tool that you to use with a patient. IMHO, it far exceeds giving your patient a piece of paper for psychoeducation, safety planning, or records of activation or cognitive reframing. These papers only sometimes makes it through a whole week without getting lost, whereas patients almost always have their phones or tablets nearby..Version: 1.3

Very good!! Although...I just downloaded this app a little while ago, and it's amazing!!! The only problem I have is when you're adding Reasons To Live in your Crisis Plan, you can only add a limited amount of reasons to live. It's a little annoying because there's so many reasons why I want to live that I forget when I feel super bad. Can you please make it so that you can add as many reasons to live as you want? Because I think plenty of people have hundreds of reasons to live but they can't put them all down. I haven't even tried out the rest of the app but I'm very sure I'm going to enjoy using it!! Use this everydayI use this app as a carry on from my CBT sessions as you are only allowed 12 of these at a time on the NHS and have to wait about 22 weeks from the point you actually request them! Absolutely FANTASTIC!!!So far I have done the test which was very accurate in comparison with the DAS questionnaire I did 4 days ago. I've suffered from MDD for about 10 years, plus chronic pain. The Thought diary is terrific! Usually I don't write a journal because I feel too depressed or don't have the time. With this prompts in the diary it took me roughly 8-10 minutes to complete and I'm looking forward to comparing entries in the future. Now I have a few more sections to explore and learn from. ExcellentIt's great for anyone suffering from anxiety, depressed and bipolar disorders. It's been very helpful in my recovery from recently diagnosed bipolar disorder and hospitalization. I had used it briefly before when I was only diagnosed with major depression and anxiety disorder. But now after my recent battle and new diagnosis I've taken a more serious and proactive approach to my treatment. It implements all the CBT skills taught in treatment very well. Well thought out aid for low moodI just got the app so haven't used it yet for when I'm depressed but it is well thought out with information on depression, a test, helpful videos including TED talks, activities to help combat depression and a safety plan which you make that you can turn to when you feel low.
